Strategic location, friendly hotel staffs as well as resto staff, but a bit humid at the aisle and first time you come into the room (need to open the balcony door or window).

Yvonnes Hotel is on of the most convenient hotel to go to if you are traveling to Pohnpei. The hotel is in walking distance to town, the Telecommunication Centre, Baseball Ground and an ATM machine. They have free WIFI system for the guest and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. They also have good restaurant with affordable food and beverages, so if you are looking for a place to stay, this is one of the good place to book.

Its OK as a budget hotel. Single deluxe rooms are listed as having balconies but I was in the carport on the ground floor with renovations happening right outside my window. Was given passwords to three wifi connections and told the carport rooms had their own modem but in reality no wifi reached the room during my time there. I just assumed it was only a cold water shower as the hot water didnt work until my fourth night, when it turned warm for a few minutes and I realised it should have been hot all along. Very basic, a couple of things were broken, no hand towel or shower mat, etc. A few major miscommunications because of limited English (they told a taxi to just drop me on the causeway when I enquired about a boat tour, I requested the free airport transfer and didnt get it). But it has everything you need and I love the location with all the supermarkets in walking distance and their rental cars are nice.
