Yummy Grill And Buffet in Muncie

This place is amazing, so much variety in foods! I’ve eaten at many Chinese restaurants and this is the bast I’ve ever had! 10 stars for meJerry A Stowers of Lebanon Indiana!

For a buffet style restaurant it is about average for what you pay in price. Some food was hit and miss. The dessert bar was a failure for me due to dry cakes and melted lokking ice cream. The hibachi was worth it though.

Had a good lunch with good service and fresh food on the buffet! 😊

A little slow at replishing the food when it is out friendly staff and nice hot food

Love this place!! I love the bean sprouts freshly grilled with teriyaki sauce, and the rice noodles, Kung pao chicken, and shrimp are my fav!! I ALWAYS make a point to stop in whenever I’m in Muncie! Definitely “Yummy”

Went there to eat and food got a Pepsi and food was floating in my drink dont think I will be returning was not impressed with the food

Staff was fair. Price was ok. Food quality/taste was mediocre. There were some small children that were out of control and playing in food(parents fault). The facility needs a through cleaning.

More then half the buffet was bare for more then the first half of visit. Was supposed been a family treat, was hardly above fast food quality. Usually not one to nit pick on the small stuff but the entire visit was of poor quality all the way around.

We were in town to visit family and they took us here for lunch. Excellent buffet!

Food was okay. Glad I tried Yummy’s out but not going to be coming back. There are better Chinese resteraunts in Muncie than Yummy’s.

Most pretty good, have the grill master make your food, so hot and tasty.

First time eating at this buffet. Was a wonderful dinner. My food was great ! Very good selection of different foods. The staff was attentive and friendly and the restaurant was Clean !! Will definitely go back again soon.

I am from Mississippi and my sisters and brother in law brought me here. As soon as I walked in I was impressed! Very clean! Good food !! AWESOME And so many dishes!! That is why its busy! Keep up the good work!!

Took my daughter for her 15 yrs birthday, not one staff,said happy birthday nothing no deals what so ever.

Yummy is the best buffet in Muncie. It’s also the only buffet in Muncie but if there were more it would still retain the title. The sushi is pretty decent for a buffet and the Mongolian Grill would make Genghis Kahn smile. If you are hungry and wanting a taste of Asia you won’t be disappointed.

This is the first time I have been disappointed here, but when they disappoint, they go all out.When we arrived Sunday early afternoon there were many empty spots on the buffet.No problem. I picked out some sushi and took it to my table.20 minutes later, I head back up to get the rest of my lunch.All of the empty bowls are still empty but the are refilling other bowls that are not empty.I asked if they were going to refill the bowls that have been empty before my arrival and one girl said she would find out.You can already guess that she never followed through, at least with me.SAd thing is that this place will not care about my review anymore than they cared about a meal I paid full price for and received sub par food and service for.Because this is their new normal. I suggest not spending your hard earned money here.I wasted my money $90.00 to be exact. Use it wisely, its the last you get from me.

Food was great t as usual. There was alot of empty places for food..thus we had to wait dor food. But worth the wait. YUMMY

Noodles was coldSausage was cold fish was coldFood that was supposed to be hot wasnt n many trays was almost empty. Those food trays was never refilled in the hour I was there so I left

It was great, besides the one in Anderson across the street from Police Station its one of the best Chinese restaurants I ever ate.

One of the only buffets still open. Currently, is closed on Tuesdays. Plenty of variety of oriental and American food with several food bars to choose from. Very polite and helpful staff. The air conditioning was working well during the +90F outdoor heat in June 2022.

There was plenty of food to choose from, but everything was pretty mediocre. It didnt make me feel sick, but its also not something I would want to return to.

Usually have no issues but every now and then I will get a server that I only see at the beginning and at the end to give me the check

Very clean but all food was over cooked or tasted as if it had been sitting out too long. My wife and I didn’t even finish one plate and left hungrier than when we arrived.

Superior staff. The buffett was full and fresh and the crab rangoon was top notch. Excellent!!!

This is the best place in town to get buffet style Chinese all the way to American food I recommend that everyone give it at least a try because it is well worth going I will definitely be back for more you do not walk away from their hungry that is for sure they have got anything in everything you could ever think of right down to desserts!!!

Food was so horrible! Chicken was hard as a rock! I was thouroughly disappointed and ended up eating McDonalds 2 hours later because I couldnt hardly eat anything on buffet!

Food was hot and service was good. Some foods could of been a little better in taste.

It was decent. But please make sure your employees wear a hairnet. Plus you should always have fresh food out for the guests. We had to wait for anything to be cooked. Mind you we ate here at like 3-4pm friday so yeah you guys need better staff

I love this place. So many different types of all kinds of food. Hot and fresh. Very friendly.After going yesterday, 4/2/2022 I feel the quality of some of the foods has suffered somewhat. Not the same goodness as before.I will be looking forward to my next visit, hoping it will be better.

Yummies is the best restaurant my husband and I have ever been to we take our families there have a great time the food is amazing the staff is beyond wonderful we love going there we tell everyone that we know about the restaurant and they cant say enough good things about it when they go.

I jus spent 20.00$ on buffet. (Per personThis is the first time coming here. I was SO DISAPPOINTED... Absolutely the WORST place Ive ate in, well ever. The ice cream was only decent thing I ate. Everything tasted like its been in a bag in the freezer (freezer burntan heated up. Ill NEVER go back. An dont recommend ever eating that terrible stuff they serve as food. 2 thumbs down 👎👎

Very busy. Waited about 10 minutes for the bars to be refilled with fresh, hot food. Was worth the wait. The owner is on staff. Well run, fully staffed.

Usually pretty good. This time over 90% of the buffet wasnt stocked. Never stocked anything while we was there. But yet they still charge full price

Went to lunch here with my roommate when a group of men at a table near ours started taking pictures of us and generally being creepy and made us feel unsafe. As soon as we alerted the wait staff they jumped to help us! They handled the situation amazingly and made sure we were safe and could enjoy our lunch!! Great food and great staff!!

I havent been here in years and I was looking forward to it but we left incredibly unimpressed. We spent $51 before a tip for 2 adults and a child. Everyone had to spit out at least 1 bite of food each into our napkins. The meat was all fatty and low quality. The buffet was clean but that was the only upside to the whole experience. Overall it was an awful dinner and I will not be returning

Extremely busy - the food on the buffet stayed filled and hot.Did have to wait a few minutes for eggrolls but they were hot and fresh when they came out.The service was great.They did run out of soup bowls but the plates stayed stocked.

This has got to be theeee worst Chinese buffet I e ever been to. The floors were absolutely disgusting and a total slip hazard the entire time we were there we saw no clean ups of anything but tables being wiped down (with a rag in the same brown water tub). All the food was tasted the same (watered down sauceand I’m positive some of the ‘chicken’ was absolutely pork. Decided to try the ‘American’ foods (can’t go wrong with fried foods right?so bad. Everything tasted like fried fish. Total was 56$ for 3 buffets and the only thing worth eating was the corn on the cob. People working seemed friendly enough but the food an cleanliness of this restaurant get a one star from me. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

Ordered Tea (hot& didnt touch the cold and was still charged for it- I asked for vegetarian options & the only choice was instant mashed potatoes, French fries & green beans- not even vegetable egg rolls or plain white rice - all of which was extremely cold- even when I added cheese to the potatoes it didnt melt even a tiny bit. Nobody checked on us once regarding refills or anything of the like- dropped our drinks off & never seen again, in fact a diff waitress was the one that dropped off the check at the table.... Needless to say, dont come here if youre trying to impress anyone or be impressed yourself.

This is a total compromise for me to come here. My husband loves the hibachi and all of the random food here that I can’t stand. They have a very good selection of American food that both my son and I will eat. Who doesn’t love the variety of options for desserts? I was disappointed that the ice cream went back to self serve, you dip it out yourself. Let’s face it at least 1:2 people don’t wash their hands after using the bathroom, so NOPE! I’ll pass on getting fecal matter in my ice cream.

My wife, son, daughter, and granddaughter just ate there and was charged $51s plus $10 for a carry out tray. The owners being rude and price gouging because its new years. The food isnt good enough to be charged that much. Beware of what there doing when and if you go there

A bit pricey, took my son here for dinner thisevening and the bill for the buffet and 2 soft drinks was $34 bucks! We had a great server and the food was average. Im scratching my head trying to decide if it was worth the price.

Food was not hot. Most trays were more than half empty. I was there over an hour waiting nothing changed. I told the waitress how disappointed I was. She first sat me at a table that when I moved the napkin holder there was soda all over the table under where it set. I was so hungry for some good Chinese. I like my food hot. Will never go back. $14.00 wasted

Awesome job the staff did for our group. We had about 30 Amish and 2 drivers. They was on top of our needs. Drinks were always filled and all needs were met. Will recommen to others and will bring more groups.

Large buffet with hibachi grill. Buffet not only had Chinese food but it had one whole row of traditional American food like beef tenderloin spareribs mashed potatoes gravy mac and cheese. Nice dessert bar. Hibachi was good but limited on ingredients. Chinese buffet had different dishes than I am used to but still good. Also had sushi. But it was expensive at 15 a person

This was my second time coming to this buffet. It just so happens to be my favorite Asian buffet of all time. They have such a large variety of food and everything is cooked so well and replenished quickly when emptied and the quality is high on the food they provide. They have delicious fried fish, chicken tenders, lomein, they have a platter of cooked shrimp that is delicious and pairs really well with their chicken and broccoli. Did I mention pretty much everything on the buffet tastes absolutely delicious! They stay busy because they are great at what they do and they are affordable as well. Really great place to take a LARGE group of people or just any family. Everyone will find something they like and everyone will leave full! 🙂

Price good and items are ok its a buffet. You get in and you get out.
