Ordered 2 chicken souvlaki dinners the portions are really good. The meal was good not the best greek food I have had. The restaurant was very nice inside and the girl was very friendly and our meal was ready when I got there. I will be back and next time dine in which will probably make the meal better than take out.

The food was fresh and full of flavor diversity. The portions were plentiful. I was able to have a full meal from the left overs. The environment was comfortable. One could dress down or up for a special meal. The owner was caring, communicative, and accessible. Everything was done with love.

Very impressed with the separate vegan menu! Stuffed eggplant (with delicious vegan bechemel!), spanakopita and lemon tart were all fantastic! Really great service as well. Highly recommend.

Our meal was perfection. Vegetarian Mousakka, Spanakopita, Black Olive dip, stuffed mushrooms, salad, pita, white wine. All of it delicious, and the staff are so sweet! I really want to go back asap.

Very kind and attentive staff, and fast service. The food was incredible and had huge portion sizes. Definitely stop here if you love authentic, quality Greek food. And dont forget to try the baklava! Its great.

My wife and I love Greek restaurants but this place was especially great! They had a full house on a Friday night but the service was absolutely great! The chicken souvlaki was very very good!!

Service good. Atmosphere bad. Food mediocre at best.Presentation: 3/10Food: 5/10 LOTS of heavy creams and the tatziki tasted more like mayonnaise or a roux. Overall we felt like the food could have been good if they fixed their gross sauces.We had to eat outside because the restaurant smelled like a mix of stale cigarette smoke and dirty bathrooms.Drinks: MEH. The drinks were $9/each and basically tasted like fruit punch and a very boozy cooler.

Great first time going to this restaurant, super awesome waitress with great humor and very kind, great food was so delicious and was very nice of them to get me and my friend a table even though we didnt do a reservation and all tables were pretty much taken, there food is to die for ! Will go back.

After a missing gyro in a Skip order, not only did they answer their phone quickly, but the correct gyro arrived on our doorstep (with a piece of surprise dessert!!within 15 mins. The food is sooo good and great portions as well. 10/10 recommend!

Was our first time there and wow we were impressed. So cozy inside, very on theme. Food portions are huge and so delicious. Our server was a sweetheart and made our experience all that much better. Will be back soon!

3 years ago, for lunch. Service was slow. We were only ones there at 1 pm. I asked gor a beef gyro and got chicken.We have been there recently and the food is very good.

One of our best experience at Courtney. The Greeks atmosphere and friendly staff plus variety of cuisine tests make your night. The meal portion was huge . Baklava was delicious. The only that I can say , meat was a little salty . Its not cheap but worth the price

Such friendly service and amazingly good Greek food. My husband ordered the Keftedes and we split them as an appetizer- so savoury! I had the stuffed chicken breast for my main and he had chicken souvlaki - everything was delicious and we left stuffed!What really made it a great dining out experience though was the warmth of the staff. And when I forgot my bag 🙊 Amanda brought it all the way to more door. That was amazing! Will absolutely be back - soon!

Only tried the calamari from this shop. They were super busy and the service was polite. Unfortunately the calamari was not good, it did not taste fresh and was overwhelmingly over powered with onions.

First time at Yamas. What a pleasant surprise! Really enjoyed the roast lamb. It came with roasted vegetables, rice, potato and greek salad. My partner really enjoyed the Greek Ribs. Service was great and very accommodating. I have Celiac disease and they prepared a non-gluten Calamari appetizer using cornstarch which was great. Its a popular spot so be sure and call for a reservation.

I love going here for the roasted lamb dinner. Its always been a real treat. Comes with rice, Greek salad, and potatoes with veg.The lamb, potatoes/veg and the rice were excessively salty this last time but we let someone know so I will go back again to see if that is going to be the usual (so if youre salt sensitive like me and suffer afterwards it might not be worth it). One of my friends isnt salt sensitive but agreed, the other generally uses a lot of salt so it was good for them.Ill update after I go again and hope I can keep coming back.The service was 100%.

I was taken here for the first time for my birthday dinner. Weboth had the Vegetarian Moussaka and it was superb! Lookforward to repeating the visit. Must also say the staff are apleasure to deal with. Excellent service.

I came here for a company holiday party and this place was wonderful.The food was amazing. We were served hummus, olive pate, and spinach dip with two kinds of pita, which were all great. Most spinach dips are kind of runny, but this one was good and thick.Next we were on to calamari. Perfectly cooked. I should not have filled up so much at this part of the meal.We got Greek salad and Caesar salad, and the biggest thing I can mention about them is how nice it was that the onion was cut to a good size, not the huge cubes that a lot of places do.Then the entree: roasted potatoes, carrots, and beets that were maybe the best Ive ever had of any of those things, with prawns (perfect), chicken (I dont eat chicken so no review about that), and spanakopita, which was also amazing.There were two desserts that I never caught the names of. They were awesome, but I want in much of an eating mood by the time they came out after hummus, pate, spinach dip, pita, calamari, salad, roasted vegetables, prawns, and spanakopita.The staff was wonderful too. I believe we met almost the whole team at some point, even the cook poked his head out of the kitchen to receive a round of applause.They were all polite and smiling and really nice, but didnt hang out too long at the tables. Great service too.I dont think I have a negative thing to say. There were a couple in our group with some dietary restrictions, myself included, but every dish came with a summary of what could and couldnt be eaten ("this is dairy", "this is vegetarian"). I think I even remember seeing a special option come out of the kitchen for a person with some more restrictive requirements.Overall, a really great time and a really great restaurant. Ill be looking for an opportunity to go back.

Best Greek food Ive ever had and Ive been to a lot of places. So much flavour! Very friendly service. They also have GF options - I have an allergy and no issues with the chicken souvlaki and the mouth watering lamb my husband had that I just had to taste! Well be back soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner tonight. We had the mega appetizer plate between 4 of us, and then our meals. Servers were great, no rush between courses and each of us ordered something different and we all really enjoyed every bite! Have been here several times and never been disappointed.

You know its bad when the dogs wont eat it...This is the worst meeal Ive been served in my life, disgusting doesnt even begin to cover the swill this restraunt tried to pass off as food.Nothing about that meal was even Greek!(And Ive been to Greece!)MUSHY FRENCH FRIES ON A GYROS!?? GROSSThe lamb was boiled slop. The dessert which was supposed to be filo based had NO filo in it.I want my $98 back these people have no business running a restraunt!Go to Yummies and Gyros folks!

Had a great supper at Yiannis tonight. The humus to start was excellent and we both had Chicken Slouvlaki was the best we have had in a long time.would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This review is a little late, but I took my partner here for a lovely meal a few weeks ago.The service was thoughtful and kind. The food was tasty and my portion of lamb was bigger than I could of hoped for. We had to take it home and eat if for lunch the next day.Everything about this place, form COVID safety to the food was amazing.I will be back!

My wife and I have been eating there every time we go to mount Washington for over 10 years. Summer or winter the food is fantastic. I had three other tugboaters with me last night. We walked out stuffed and all hands were very satisfied. The tsatziki was so good and their bread is incredible. The dolmades keftedes saganaki everything was fantastic.COVID protocols were excellent. I recommend Yiamas 100%. Thanks again for an enjoyable evening.

Fantastic greek food! We ordered the chicken souvlaki for delivery. The chicken was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The rice and potatoes were more subtle but still delicious! The roasted zucchini and pepper were an added bonus and we were too full to get to the Greek salad but did have a taste test. Food is fresh. We will absolutely order from here again. My only tiny suggestion is to work on the tzatziki as it was a little too thick for my liking. Still tasty though.

Terribly disappointed with my experience last night. We used Skip the Dishes for the delivery of our food and was so impressed with Liam the driver and couldn’t wait to dive into our meal. I ordered the spinach stuffed chicken (great dishand my wife ordered the “Beef Gyro”. We eat Greek food lots and I personally have cooked for many Greek restaurants. My wife took a bite of her Gyro and sprung up from the table to dash to the garbage can to spit it out. Wow was that a shocker. I called the restaurant to ask what was it that she ate it was Keftedes meatballs. When I told the woman who answered that this was a terrible mistake, she seemed to not care one bit and advised me that they don’t have beef there, just ground beef meatballs. Done with that place. Zero customer service

The food was fantastic, service top notch. It was very busy and you could tell how well managed the whole team was to ensure everyone was prioritized. We love the food! And we like the free take out delivery that Yiamas is providing, we take advantage of it about every two weeks. The food portions are generous and the food is always very tasty. I personally love the greek ribs and other family members enjoy the calamari, deep fried cheese (yum), greek salad and chicken souvalaki. You will be happy that you ordered from this local and friendly restaurant:)

We went there a few nights ago and the food was delicious and very tasty! The portions are quite large which is always nice. The server was exceptional providing us with great service. It was also good to see that they are taking appropriate measures to operate around COVID-19. We will definitely go back!

WOW! We just had dinner here (we are visiting from Vancouverand it was the best Greek food I’ve ever had. Calamari was unreal, the lamb was so tender and customer service top notch. Would highly recommend this place and next time we are in the area we will definitely be back. The dessert (ektek? I can’t remember the name , first item on the dessert listwas also amazing!! We have just arrived home after an evening meal at Yiamas, and we cant stop talking about it. Everyone at the table said that it was one of the BEST meals they have experienced in a very long time. The lamb was so tender and seasoned to perfection. Three at the table had the stuffed chicken- amazing! The prawns and scallops were also enjoyed with huge compliments. I live in the Comox Valley and am sad I have only just discovered this gem. We will be back.

Fantastic food for a good price. Large portion. Strongly recommend the platter if you are unsure of what to order. We ordered it for two, would easily feed four. Delicious sample sized entrees. The lady who served us was 💯 % switched on.

Staff was responsive. They had traditional interactive dance. Our meal was delicious.

We ordered the platter so we could get a taste of everything. Every single dish was amazing. I saw someone complain in another review regarding the feta. I dont know if they had the same I just had but it was the best feta! So soft, nice small crumbles, and full of flavor. I will definitely be back and bring others 💙💛💙💛

We gave this place a try and were thrilled with the food and the service! The Spinach Dip is awesome. Every single item on our dinner plates was delicious - from the mains (prawns and chicken souvlakito the sides. It wasnt loud and we could even converse pleasantly with one another. Well definitely be back!
