Yen's Cafe - Vietnamese restaurant in Hilo, United States
Love their fried calamari and Mongolian beef noodles. Also their spring roll rice noodle dish.Great Vietnamese coffee
Big portions. Great spring rolls.
Just stopped by to order a quick lunch and was so pleasantly surprised with our food. Chicken ginger lemongrass plate and spicy chicken rice plate. Both came with a very tasty side salad. So much flavor for lunch. I also order a fresh sugar cane. Will definitely be back to try the Pho.
Tres bien

Soups here is great for rainy days.
Their shrimp chow mein is bomb ๐
Best Chinese food Iโve found in Hilo, but thatโs not saying much. The food was good but not great. Service was lacking.
Get in line early for this tiny spot. Even with that, you may get elbowed out of the way by the Asian "ladies who lunch" here on a regular basis.
Great food near 9 miles from Honomu. We knew we wont get food in Honomu so stopped here on our way from Hilo. The place had fantastic Chicken curry which is probably the best Asian curry I have had. My partner had fried rice which was good too. Thai iced tea was nice too but needed more sugar :p
Best pho ga Ive had in a while.
We ordered our standard Vietnamese dishes, Bun ga and vegetarian fried rice, and found them very good, but not quite excellent. The chicken was nicely seasoned, but I missed the little fried onions many Vietnamese restaurants add. The fried rice needed a little more egg. The tables and chairs were clean. The restaurant is small with 4(?tables, and they do quite a bit of carry-out business. I assume its a family affair with mom and/or dad in the kitchen, big sister workin her buns off waitressing, and little brother spacing out with his iPad at the register. We left big sister a good tip, but she probably had to share it with family. We would go back again if we lived in the area.
Yens!! When your finished eating, so good youll have to jump up and yell "YEN"! Aloha

Great Chicken with cold noodles and spring rolls! We come here every chance we can fit in. Eat in or get it to go and head to a park or ocean front.
Soo full so happy. Spicy 22 is great level of spicy.
Good food, fair service, small place, give it a try.
Staff was a little slow but the food was delicious
One of my favorite places to go
Had chicken with string beans and crispy roll. Love coming here.
Great food. The Pho is to die for!
Amazing. We didnt order a single bad dish, and the boba tea was probably some of the best Ive ever had. I loved that when a dish was labeled spicy, it actually came out spicy! ๐๐ฝ
Their lemongrass chicken is yummy! I wish there was something like this in Kona.
The lemon grass chicken is my favorite.
Great Pho. Veggie broth available too.
