Yellow Sub, Atlantic Way, Brunswick Business Park, Liverpool L3 4BE, United Kingdom, Liverpool
Indoor play attraction featuring climbing frames, an arcade, a football pitch, party rooms & a cafe.
Friendly and helpful staff. Party planner was great too.
Had a party staff was lovely clean place my son had amazing time
Nice staff, big play area with lots to keep kids and adults entertained
Amazing place , but if we are not allowed to bring food so you definitely should put more options and a larger menu and I find the good quality not a wow at all, the place is really clean 🧼 the limited time is also a negative point that need a look at.
Amazing place and pretty affordable. The best thing u can get halal food there.
Best soft play centre weve ever been to.Super clean, well organised and loads for the kids to do. Didnt try the food but there was a good selection and it looked great, and was very reasonably priced.Free parking right outside and plenty of it too. Beautiful location.
Nice place for kids to play for 90mins but always busy. Be lucky to find a table. My son had so much fun and was enjoying it. Food is average but quite expensive however that is expected. Would take him again!
Had an amazing night in this bar. Staff were awesome, Music was awesome. We were given a complementary shot which was a nice touch. Will be visiting again & would recommend 👌
Great staff clean place kids love it . But the coffee is like dish water..lol
A great place for kids young and old. Good value too, costing around £12 for two adults and a child for an hour and a half during peak time.
Nice little place, kids enjoyed themselves
The service was not good. We only asked for french fries and waited for about half an hour. When asked twice about the order, there was a birthday party. The employee said that we have a nice party. You should attend a birthday party, but on the other hand, customers neglect this is not good.
Kids enjoyed it and cup of tea and a cake for Grandad
Good place to kill 90 minutes, didnt eat here but the food looked nice what others got. Will come back again.
Cafe too expensive not worth kids meal £4.95 for 4 chicken nuggets and smallest portion chips you could serve only not even a drink ...:( shame
Nice place to make your children happy for a couple of hours in Liverpool.
My 2 grandchildren really enjoyed it a great experience well worth it good value for money
Great for kids .quite a walk from the Albert Dock drinks and food a bit expensive but food is nice
Absolutely amazing. we had my twins 3rd birthday here today and I can honestly say its perfect. The staff went out of their way, their were kind, patient, organised and just outright amazing. The room they had set up for us was perfect and they even put lights ect on for my daughter who is autistic with sensory seeking. They took care of the cake so we didnt have which took a load off myself as a mum meaning i could focus my entire self on my children rather than having to do the cake and the food ect! Could not reccomend enough, people say the staff are strict but we did not get this impression at all in fact it was the total opposite. Do not listen to the bad reviews because this place is amazingThankyou yellow sub for making my childrens day special
Ok.. But thebe fact they charge adults to get in is a bit naughty. Seeing as why why else would an adult go.
A birthday party for my grandson terrific place for the kids adults wecome too a cafe serving food and good coffee well recommended
Really great place for your kids to let off some steam and have fun with their friends!!
Reasonable soft play and friendly helpful staff, but put off by the trainers being taken from the children upon entry. This means they only have socks on when using the toilets, cue lots of tiny wee feet running around the soft play.
My daughter had her 5th birthday party here last weekens with a dozen of her friends. They had a great time as they loved the play area with all the different levels and activities and liked the party room with the tele and music. Great feedback from their parents as they liked the layout and didnt feel congested even though it was busy.Overall a great experience and my daughter loves the place as we are there quite often anyway.
Do not book a private party here! Over charged us for 4 children on the night, when we brought this to their attention they admitted their mistake and offered to refund us for 1 child! Told us they needed 7 days to investigate even though they had admitted they had made the mistake! Then would only refund us the 1place telling us the kitchen made too much food…again their mistake! Attitude of supervisor when we went back to complain about the way we had been treated and robbed was.. take it to the small claims court!!! Customer service was appalling, guests expressed how unwelcome they were made to feel as after hours, even though we paid a lot more for the private element!! AVOID AVOID AVOID unless you want to be ripped off!!!
It was very nice but abit more play time for the children would have been abit better,I would have given 5
Great place to let the little ones run off some energy, fully secure with locked doors on entrance and exit points....
The kids love it and spotlessly clean
We had our 7 year olds birthday party here today. He and his friends had a great time. The pizza subs were a little disappointing but the staff were friendly and helpful.
Fantastic for the kids and very well priced. Was very busy when we went but had a good system in place. Food and service was brilliant and very well priced
Fab place. V safe. Clean. Well run.Has a great time with my 2 year old and 8 month old granddaughters.
They do not allow kids with dietary requirements to eat there as they can grunted it and they dont let you bring food the managers word were " bring food on my premises and you will be turned away" they have no understanding of allergys I mentioned coeliac disease on the phone to be asked how bad is allergy 😳 scarey shocking reply
Really disappointed with our visit there, only 90 minutes play & strictly nothing to be brought in even though we ordered drinks and food but weve got a water bottle with us & we were told not to use which I think ridiculous. Over priced indeed & not a good coffee for the price they charge.
Visited here yesterday with both my children, lovely little play center I do come quite often clean tidy and helpful staff. Although it is a little dearer than other play centers I have visited and does not allow outside food and drink. The owner or manager I think he was whos name I never caught went above and beyond yesterday and waited nearly an hour over his finishing time to keep the lobby open after noticing me and my children who were very cold and upset was waiting outside for a taxi. thank you so much we appricate your kindness alot :also the autism friendly sessions are also an added bonus to this place. my son loves the more chilled out quiter sessions I think more places should be onboard with catering for children with asd.
This place was a bit hard to find but it was amazing. My kids absolutely loved it. Big and spaced place for kids to play and have a great fun and toilets really well cleaned too. The only con Ive seen are the prices at the coffe shop but its OK I guess. We keep going when possible.
Big brother on the cameras announcing NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK TO BE CONSUMED OR IT WILL BE CONFISCATED 😂😂 there was only about 3 tables seated so it was obviously aimed at me and my little boy who was having a drink from his bottle Id brought in my bag. OVERPRICED drinks which they want you to buy to coin it in, I did actually buy a cup of tea, but not letting parents give their kids a drink from a bottle is terrible. Consequently theyve lost a customer and my recommendations for the place. Rather go to Bubbles World of Play on New Brighton prom, much more relaxed and they dont bark at you if your kid has a bottle to drink from cos they know the adults spend a fortune on food and drink anyway!Photo is my outside drink on table in Bubbles World of Play which nobody has batted an eyelid at and the staff have been walking past constantly, much more relaxing for parents!!TOP TIPTake your kids into the toilet in Yellow Sub to give them a drink, theres no cameras in there for the Yellow Sub Gestapo to chastise you on!!
We came at 5pm today we was told we could not go in as the cut off time had been. we told her we don’t mind playing for even 15 mins she was adamant we cant go in even though i have been twice before at that time and there has never been a problem it was for 5 kids and 2 adults. It was a rainy day the kids wanted to burn there energy before bed the baby came out crying and upset not understanding why.
What can I say?? I told myself I wasnt going to post on Google reviews but the more I think about it the more incensed I am becoming! We attended on Saturday 4th September for my 1st grandsons 2nd birthday. There was quite a large party of us so this was a suitable sized venue and fairly local. We were only asked to confirm the name of the childs party we were attending and were not asked to sign in or anything. I am disabled and as such rely on a mobility scooter to get about, although I dont go out often as I also have severe anxiety, but I made the effort for the sake of my family. The reception staff were accommodating and opened the double doors to allow me access and I thought no more of it. We were there for over an hour before an irate lady approached me and asked how I got into the venue on the scooter, I explained saying her staff had been very helpful and had opened the doors. She stated that they should not have done that as I wasnt allowed in on my scooter and that her insurance company had been on the phone to say she wasnt insured if I was in the building! As you can imagine I was taken aback by this and asked if I could have an explanation as to why a mobility scooter invalidated an insurance policy, to which she said she would go and speak to her insurers and come back to me. She didnt! And despite numerous attempts by my family to get the manager to come back out, the best we got was a team leader. She was a very polite, young lady name Taeisha and she apologised that Id been made to feel discriminated against, which I appreciated but she then told me a completely different reason for the manager speaking to me. I was so confused and upset, it literally spoilt the whole day. How can this happen in todays society? Venues shouldnt be allowed to discriminated against people because they struggle to walk! I THIS has left such a bitter taste in my mouth and if I could give a minus star rating I would. If you have disabled people in your party think twice before visiting this venue
My daughter enjoyed the visit today but the customer service was appalling. Shortly before our 90 mins was up I ordered food & checked that wed be OK to remain there until wed eaten. Despite this being agreed, the tannoy sounded calling out our name & that wed be charged again if we didnt exit immediately. My daughter had to rush the rest of her food. I explained to the girl on the front desk that she was out of order & she could of surely seen us eating & no longer using the play area. Her defence was she gave us an extra 20 mins. What she failed to realise was that wed actually spent more money on food just then than we would of if shed charged us for another 90 mins. We will not be returning.
Came here today very clean and tidy, modern. Got the train from Liverpool Central to brunswick. Few minutes walk from there onto an industrial estate there is a car park there also. Thought it was expensive £7.50 for the kid and was also charged £1.50 twice for 2 adults! Drinks were well over priced aswel £2.50 for 330ml Pepsi and £1.50 for bottle of water. You cant take your own food and drink either so give the kids plenty of food and drink before you go lol.
Used to be a great place. The staff are lovely but they need to man the baby area as big kids were running crazy in there and even when I told the staff nothing much was done. Would chose the other play centres over this one in future
They have rules here with regards to not consuming your own food and drink which is fair enough. However, my wife had a flask of hot water on her table in order to make a bottle up for the baby. She was asked to “put that away” to which my wife replied it was simply hot water to make up the baby’a bottle to which she was told to put it away anyway. Hardly the kind of family friendly establishment you’d want to take your family along to.
We came during school holidays. Lots of older kids running around toddler area, knocking babies off. My son was actually scared to be there, although he normally loves it there. No personel in sight. Place overcrowded. Service slow.
A large, indoor play area with two distinct groups of kids. The toddler area is for those under 4 and has all of what you expect, a slide, climbers, soft cubes and large jigsaw items. It also has a tricycle race-track.The larger area, for older children, has a number of slides, levels, netting, bridges, tubing and cubby holes for children to let go.Toilets are clean and well maintained, coffee is great and the food is fine. Staff are polite and friendly. When it is busy, it runs on a limited time basis, so you get roughly 90 minutes. On less busy periods, this is not the case. Our 4 year old loves it and looks forward to coming with his buddy.
Kids absolutely love it here its value for money the food is a lot better than most soft play places. There is an ice cream bar too with lots of choice and its fairly priced. The actual play area is huge! It is very noisy though as it is in a big warehouse so super loud and echoey
Had kids party here, great staff, good food very reasonably priced aswell, Our party host Ellie was great
Good indoor adventure climbing place for kids and under 4s. A large place to explore. The food is average priced but terrible quality... Water was also £1.50 for a small bottle. If it is a party they take care of entertainment and they provide decent food... For around 10 kids.
Both my children love it here, really spacey so lots of play area. Always kept occupied. Menu choice is very good, never had a bad lunch and all food made fresh on site. Staff always really pleasant, 90 mins often isnt long when you factor in lunch or snack but on the whole best play centre we go to.
Lovely play centre and the staff are amazing. We were here tonight for a Love Jasmine charity event and the staff couldnt do enough to help :)
A large soft play centre with good facilities and a decent size seating area. However the seats can be hard to come by when theyre busy.As usual, its split into two sections. One for the younger kids and one for 4+ and both are well designed. My only minor gripe is that the design of the main play area is a cube so its deep and easy to lose a child in. Ive been three times and always seem to be unable to find a child at some point during the two hour time slot. But all in all Id recommend the place.
