Havent visit here for almost 3-year due to COVID, however, the quality of food still meet my expectation and service level quality is also excellent...

What more can I say? Hands down to the best Shanghai cuisine in Taiwan. It really brings back all my memories of living in Shanghai. The must eat are 紅燒肉、桂花糖藕、回鍋肉、脆皮雞，trust me, these dishes are going to blow your mind ✨, my friends grew up in Shanghai, they also proved that everything in this restaurant tastes just exactly like the ones in Shanghai!

Delicious Shanghai food really reminded me of when I lived in Shanghai. The river fish and the sheng Jian boa were great but the beatlenut flower and fried mushrooms were the standouts to me

All the dishes are excellently made and treated with care. Services have improved throughout the years. We have been going back many times and still going back

Ye Shanghai is a fantastic Chinese restaurant where they serve excellent Chinese (specifically the Shanghaidishes. The flavor is overall on the lighter side, so if you like something “exciting”, this is probably not for you. But every dish was well thought out and you can tell it visually and through its flavor.One dish that I’d like to specifically recommend is the fried dumpling (生煎包). Yes, this is a food which you can find at the night market near you, but they brought it to another level. They pan fry it at the bottom so that the dough isn’t the boring part any more. The crusty texture along with the explosion from when you take the first bite is what makes this visit worth it.

Fancy place with Chinese traditional delicacy, not entirely Chinese actually.

Some of the best traditional Shanghai cuisine anywhere. I arrived at the restaurant with my co-workers a little late on my last visit (due to heavy traffic from Taoyuan). The kitchen had already cooled down their main stove for the night. Instead of turning us away, the chef decided to cook our entire meal w/ his "small" wok. What a treat! I over-ordered, my party over-ate, and we had a great time just like all of the previous times I visited.Full disclosure, I am Shanghai by birth, I speak Shanghai. I have eaten at many of the famous Shanghai places. This one is good. The service is beyond good!

High class settings with a Michelin star reputation from its flagship restaurant in Shanghai. The Taipei location is nicely decorated with welcoming ambiance. We ordered the $1000/person set meal. But we found the food interesting yet didn’t live up to its reputation. Service was good, perhaps we’ll try their other dishes next time.

The staff lack essential training. For example, how can they move the client’s bag without prior approval?

My first visit today and was impressed with the weekday set lunch. Its only twd680 per set with about 10 courses. It was very authentic and delicious Shanghai food at a reasonable price.

Business lunch is worth to try.

Great ambience for a nice family dinner or gathering amongst friends.The buns are unforgettable after a bite, crispy outside and juicy on the inside. The radish cakes are some of my favorites. The other dishes are all around decent as well.The service is excellent with attention to details. Again great place for a group of people to dine in.

A good Shanghai restaurant in A4 Shinkong Mitsukoshi Department. The environment is good for family dining. The service is good. The food is tasty.

Pay extraordinary prices for ordinary Shanghainese food.

Family favorite. Love this place for the food, the ambiance, and service. Great for special occasions. It feels like going to someone’s really really nice house for dinner. Portions are on the smaller side, but the quality and execution of the food makes it worth it. A few dishes that are must order.

Authentic Shanheinese cuisine.Comfortable venue.A bit pricey.I would certainly not ler the waitress pushing us into more dishes than we need next time. It was absolutely not necessary to over-order. Lesson learnt.

Its my 3rd time eating here, the first 2 times were great. This time, I went there for lunch, and it was one of my worst dining experiences ever. The decor and the food was fine, just like before. However, their kitchen completely screwed up our order. They delivered 2 appies, and nothing else came out for half an hour. We told the server to just bring us SOMETHING as our toddler was starving, and he had nothing to eat. They rushed out our noodle dish and one meat dish. The other dishes followed after another 15 min wait, so we thought they were just busy and finally caught up. Then we waited and waited, and our 2 seafood dishes didnt arrive. We spoke to another server, and we heard her call the kitchen on her radio, and she apologized and told us itd come soon. We waited another half an hour, and the final dishes were nowhere to be seen. Finally got fed up and spoke to the manager, she went to the kitchen herself and told us itd be another 10m for the final 2 dishes to arrive. In the end, we waited 1.5 hrs for all of our food to arrive. The manager gave us 10% off and a free desert as "compensation", but it didnt make up for the bad XP. Never going back again...

The Peking duck was terrible for this type of establishment and price. Duck was oily and practically no meat. The tortilla skin however was excellent. They do not even show you the duck before they cut it like all the rest of the Chinese restaurants. Overall the food quality is average at a higher end price range.

This is a goto place to take friends and family visiting taiwan. The setting is comfortable with a higher end feel. Prices are reasonable and the service is great, best of all, they hve hairy claw crabs! Highly recommend the crispy chicken which is a hit with everyone!

Food is a bit better than average.Cosidering the price, its not worthehile .Especially in a city like Taipei, a place with plenty choices of decent food.

Food is quite good. Service is disappointing. The worst thing is that the staff there is clearly professionally trained but they simply do not choose to provide the best service they can. Dishes come out so fast that we feel like eating fast food. And they kept sending us the wrong dishes. Just not a very caring staff.A pity as we actually enjoyed the food.
