Older crowd, Veterans and just happy people. The smell 9f the good and the pastries and OMG...the coffee...Outstanding.

Absolutely delicious is the only way to describe the food and drink I had here. This was first time at Yanis Coffee Zone and will not be my last. I got the Sunrise which is comprised of biscuits, hash browns, an over easy egg and topped with gravy. Then for my drink I got their seasonal Pumpkin Latte. Honestly way better than Starbucks. I dined outside so the food was brought to me. It felt like a longish wait but that’s how I knew it was going to be hot and fresh. Which it definitely was. The person who rung me up was very helpful as well. Overall, if you are looking to support a local breakfast place I suggest you give Yanis a try!

Delicious food and incredible coffee. Customer service was perfect as well. We were in a hurry, and it was nice to be able to get real food quickly instead of settling for traditional fast food. We live an hour away but will definitely be back.

This place ROCKS! Was blown away in all aspects. Gyros so good. Breakfast called "The Infidel" so good. Coffee choices great and Mediterranean dessert bites the bomb. If wasnt so far away would go often. Open till 2pm though.

The two stars are for the friendly service and the decent falafel which I would recommend. Im rating it two stars because this place calls its self a coffee zone and its cappuccino is really bad(0 stars)! If your looking for a drink that is made from expresso, stay away!

This place was seriously the best. It has a comprehensive Mediterranean menu from breakfast to dessert. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was great and the staff was capable and friendly. We highly recommend this place, not just for coffee!

Excellent food & service. Very friendly. Best gyro Ive ever had. Lamb was so moist! I had a dark chocolate chia that was excellent also. My husband had a grilled chicken greek salad that was very good.

Best coffee shop in Jeff city. My dad is kind of a regular and I really like their coffee because it tastes like when its a cold day and you wrap up in a chair and do some paper work or reading at a desk and listen to the snow fall. Theyre allergy friendly.

Yanis is the best Mediterranean Food this side of the Ocean. I frequent this place often, Sarah make the best coffees and the staff cooking the food is amazing! If Mediterranean food is your fancy .. this is the place. Kosher as well.

First time going here. Jeff city native that has been gone the last 20 years doing military duty. Ive been deployed to the middle east 6 times and spent time in turkey. I have had a lot of hummus in my life. This is the best Ive ever had! The gyro is outstanding as well. Definitely worth the money and I will be back.

Want some baklava or rugelach with a choice of coffees? This is the place. Relaxed dining areas and outside seating. Better than Starbucks! Shop local.

Coffee and food were superb, what really stood out was the friendly, quick and attentive staff.

Coffee Zone has the best atmosphere. Their gyro is the best in town, in fact its the best Ive ever had. I love their coffee as well. There is such a wide variety of choices and they have never messed up my order, which is very important because I have a dairy allergy. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, I love supporting this business!

Everything was perfect! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Sarah makes the best coffee ever and understood my need of caffeine. Xavier, Andrew, and Zach made the best gyro and kebab Ive ever had. I was treated like family, left with a full tummy of delicious food, and baklava so buttery it was melting in my fingers. I will definitely be a repeat offender here.

Their lunches are very fine. But my favorite are their breakfast omelettes, served until 10. I love the veggie number 3 particularly. Their gyro meat and sandwiches are excellent.

Yanis is the best!! I have had nothing but awesome food!! They have the best salads! The meat is to perfection. My favorite is Yanis Salad, I do with mixed greens. I will sometimes ask for extra tomatoes, they never fail me! Always absolutely delicious . Today I decided to try the hummus for sharing, oh my gosh!! All I can say, is this, "absolutely also the BEST hummus ever", served with cucumber, tomato and pita bread. Just so good!Thank you Yanis for always serving up the best!

Holy smokes! Totally awesome lunch just now!! I had the Gyros deluxe on pita, it was so flavorful! Ive only ordered drinks before, so I will most definitely be back!!!

Wow! What a find in the middle of the city. Totally beats Starbucks. The coffee was smooth. So smooth! They have comfy chairs, the hospitality was palpable. You just want to stay and just chill in the hospitality. So good.

Husband went there in December and his bill was $10 dollars and some change and he left a tip. However they charged our credit card $112. Noticed it the next on my statement, so he went to the coffee shop and girl was unable to help him so she said the owner/manager would call. Never did so I disputed it on my discover card but obviously yanis decided to dispute it as well and I was still charged 112 bucks for my husband’s order. Talk about expensive coffee. We will NEVER go back. Check you receipt if you have them run your card.

Not sure where to start, if you want just a cup of coffee, they have it. If you want breakfast or lunch, its great. Nothing quite like a cup of Rocket Fuel to get you going in the morning. Plenty of coffee drinks to choose from. It is a great place to meet with people over lunch.

Few places have a more special place in my heart than CZ!! A must stop for lunch in JC, and always get Taisir’s hot sauce! Yanis coffee zone is an amazing place to go while in Jeff City. I was recently there for a convention and had made multiple stops there.The first day I had gone I ordered a large rocket fuel and a gyro deluxe. Despite not being a big coffee drinker, I still enjoyed the rocket fuel thoroughly. The gyro deluxe also exceeded my expectations with flying colors as everything.My second day I ordered their mocha blast (I believe thats what it was calledand a full order of gyro biscuits and gravy. The mocha blast was great as well as the biscuits and gravy (the best breakfast I had there btw). I also took a bite of my friends spinach omelette which was also amazing.All in all, the service was great and so was the food.

Great coffee selections. Rocket fuel will wake you up and some. A hint with parking would be to either attempt to parallel park or just find a metered parking lot and walk. Best time to go would be right when it opens.

Had hot coco one day and it was good and the next morning I had their egg wrap which was good as well. The employees were really friendly and made it feel like a place you could frequent often and feel like you are part of the shop. Update: Went back last week when I was in town and ordered a gyro, definitely wasnt disappointed.

Very friendly folks here. Had a wonderful Mediterranean pizza and for dessert Italian roast coffee. The owner himself came out and introduced himself. I only wished they stayed open later in the day. This place is tremendous!

I ordered a 20 oz coffee and the employee gave me a 16 oz coffee knowing I ordered a 20 oz and charged me for the more expensive drink. When I went to confront him about the issue he simply poured my drink in the larger cup and poured a small amount of milk to fill it up. The coffee tasted awful. Not the worst coffee I have ever had but I DEFINITELY would never buy coffee here again.

This is a great place to stop for a cup of Rocket Fuel, baked goods to nibble on with your coffee, and a delightful menu if you are hungry. The prices are good, and made to order. The food tends to be heathier with salads, meats, pita bread, etc.There is something else here that is special. It is called the "Community Cup". If you are short of change, are freezing and need to get warmed up, you can ask for a community cup. No cost. Likewise, when you buy coffee or food, you can donate extra money towards the community cup. At one point several years ago, there was enough donations, for people needing a meal, to get one. The owners are kind enough to keep the funds and give out coffee, etc. But the community, is responsible for keeping money in the fund.A win win for the Community. Thanks Yanis.

Traditional Mediterranean food at its finest! Coffee selection is second to none. Made fresh daily and cooked to order. The in-house baklava, scones...are delicious (served until goneand well worth the indulgence. Located in beautiful downtown JC.

One of my favorite lunch places in downtown Jefferson City. Im not much of a coffee connoisseur, but I love coffee zone for the mediterranean/middle eastern lunch options- Im partial to the chicken kebab. Good food. Quick and friendly service. Casual atmosphere.

Love Coffee Zone. Been one of my favorite haunts for more than ten years now. The food is always very good and the atmosphere always friendly. Tasirs memory is amazing. Once you visit a couple times, he knows who you are and doesnt forget.

Great coffee shop in Jeff City. Very unassuming atmosphere and the owner seems to simply love what he is doing and trying to make friends with everyone that comes in. The coffee is strong and tasty. Highly recommend stopping in for a cup if you are in town.

Amazing food, spanikopita, rugelach, and gyro. Coffee was great too. The staff were so kind. it was breakfast, but we wanted stuff from the lunch menu and they didnt even blink just did it. Tasted a bit more authentic than most for some reason. Portions are large.

Been coming here since I was in high school. Prices are great, coffee is amazing, food portions are huge and never disappoint. I love the pistachio baklava. If I lived here id come here every day. Every day.

Yanis Coffee Zone is awesome! Best coffee in town and delicious & authentic Mediterranean cuisine! I highly recommend their egg wrap which comes on a yummy pita, their soups (when available during the cold months), and their white chocolate mocha latte! Their home-made hummus is amazing...it is delicious with their spinach pie plate.

The Rocket Fuel is the best coffee in town, that is, if you like plain coffee with fantastic flavor, and quite a kick. The menu is awesome, and one of the few menus in town that offer truly vegetarian choices. I love the service there as well.
