Very good work out, depends upon your level it would easily take 2:30~3hour hiking up & down from the parking. Theres a parking lot just in front of the hiking trail entrance

Great place to visit Mother Nature.

Nice scenery and fresh air especially if you go there in autumn. The public hot spring welcomes anyone however dont expect very clean water.

Its pretty good imo if hiking and trails are your things. Pet friendly but perhaps I did not spend enough time to go around to appreciate it. Tiny curvy short cut backroads are a bit pain imo. Nonetheless its within a day trip from Taipei.

Eh.There is an area for dipping feet in outside, they they had it closed off with a diversion so you cant sit there on days not open. Even then, it looked like would not be worth the time to do.Have not tried the interior bath, but have heard not really worth it from multiple people both foreign and local.

Such a wonderful place...you need minimum 3hrs to spend here,so that you can expose to everything.when there is rain and huge winds please leave early from that place,if you have flight on the same day...because I was stocked there,due to no bus for 1hr and all the buses are full and I didnt get space to keep my feet inside bus...but I reached on time to airport due to 2 girls which are helped me a lot.they took me from there to almost 5km distance to police station and the police personal helped me to get taxi on time....people are very helpful...I m very thankful for those2girls and Singapore friend whom I met at park.

Big national park in Taipei. I and my sister traveled in April 2019. We went there by bus and hike for 4-5 hrs. There had a lot of elderly who healthy and hike while we feel so tired haha. The views at the top were valuable to see. Lets challenge yourself!!!!

I like those views. That is very nice place to refresh our mind. It is suitable for people who like take picture

very good area. You can easily rest your legs after hiking there. Bugs can be annoying. but its def. worth it. i really recommend going there.

Good experience with friends, but the peak is full of humungous flying bugs, left after 5 mins at the top. Buses are really inconvenient though, and the last one comes around 5-6pm, so dont start hiking too late. Ordering taxi to go back down to Taipei is pretty expensive.

Nice hike. Make sure you arrange transportation to get back up otherwise it would be a few km of uphill climbs.

Pretty rural, yet full of tourists. Super lush area so the fresh produce looks really yummy and full of goodness

My final stop of the journey, soak the tire leg into warm water.Is F. O. C.But there are not much thing can do over here. U can only find a portable WC at the car park area.

I went to Yangmingshan in rainny, couldy and foggy day that I cant see anything. But I found a lot of people to help me. Tourist informations staffs is good in english and they guided and tried to help you. If Another Taiwanese tourist know you problem or wrong situation, they will try to help you too.They are friendly, kindness, helpfulness and have a good comment to help you to get a good choice. That make me felt good when rememer about Yangmingshan. If you want to go to Yangmingshan, please choose sunny day.

A nice scenery for hiking. We started in Qintiangang Grassland till the Lengshuikeng Visitor Center.

This is the easiest hiking trail in Taipei you could approach. There are buses to get there and you could climb the Chi Sing Mountain which is the highest spot in Taipei. Round trip is around 3-4hours which depends on your physical status.

You can access trails to hike to the summit of mount qixing. It a traik with a lot of steps. The mountain is nice. You can go see a pond near this place.

The moment you arrive, youll suddenly become aware of the slight tinge of sulphur in the air. Despite that, the air here is refreshing, though occasionally damp from the frequent afternoon shower.The mountain breeze sweeps across the peaks and imbues the atmosphere with a sense of serenity and the calls of a million insects. Shrills and shrieks of the cicadas and frogs fill the cloudy mornings and late evenings.A few tourists and locals roam the welcome center during the weekdays.Youll notice a group of fit elderly men and women completing their usual hike. Give them wave and youll be greeted with cheers and sometimes a snack. Stop by the local hot springs, even if not for a full body soak, check out the foot pool. If youve been hiking all day, its more than a spot to relax but a chance to catch up and listen to latest gossip. Maybe the village heads son has gone to America for college, maybe a daughter was recently married.Listen and enjoy the narrative and watch the sights.

Good hiking trails. Signs are good in guiding the directions. The staff at the visitor center was very helpful. If you hike to the top of the peak, it is very winding. Hold on to your hats. Nice view of the city if you can climb to the top.

Simply amazing for hiking or just sightseeing. Easy access for inside outside. The view was amazing. If you have enough energy you must reach the top of the mountain where they have gazebo and you can stay there.

great for hiking, remember to bring a hat and sunscreen and water with you. if you go to see the dream lake.. dont go in summer :was no water lol

You can hike to Qixing (2+ hrs roundtripand Qingtiangang (2+ hrs round tripfrom this point. When it’s windy and cloudy, the hike up and down the peaks is quite scary. But it’s not hard. Going down actually is more challenging than up. I love how green this area is!

Great place to view the grassland and to hike the trials surrounding the area. Proper footwear and clothing is recommended; it gets really windy during winter and the hiking trials are paved with slightly uneven rocks so please be advised.It is important to note that public transport there are often packed but there will be a 28 seater bus when leaving Lengshuikeng at 1700.
