Yan Toh Heen, Lower Level, InterContinental Hong Kong, 18 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Upscale, modern Cantonese option in the InterContinental featuring seasonal dishes & dim sum.
Michelin star, nice environment dim sum was delicious.
Second visit for my birthday. First visit after the restaurant got its 2 star Michelin. The food was not as impressive as before. One of my favourite dish from last time was the yuzu sea bass with salted egg fish skin. The quality of the sea bass served was not as fresh as before and the texture was a bit mushy. Service was attentive.
Great service. Should visit again.Food seems good but still can be improved.
The food was amazing and the service was spot on. Unlike a lot of Michelin star restaurants where the staff hovers above you, here the staff gives you space, but yet very considerate and attentive.
Visited Yan Toh Heen for lunch and the experience is amazing. We got the lunch menu and really enjoyed the food that is beautifully presented and well prepared. We especially like the hospitality of the place. The staff is very attentive but not in an intrusive way. We feel the service is more impressive than what we received in Lung King Heen.
One of my favourite Chinese restaurants in the city. I usually don’t like upper end Chinese food places, think they never beats the taste of more local places with Yan Toh Heen being an exemption.Food here strikes a good balance of healthy and tasty. The service is always good
One of the most remarkable Chinese Food restaurants in HONGKONG. Excellent food, service and ambiance. 👍🏻 Well done 👏🏻
Great and attentive services. Food is decent.
The services they provided is truly professional. It’s really a cozy place. For the food, I can say all of them are delicious, but just need more punch point for us.Still the best to enjoy but I would like to have more surprising dishes here.
Excellent food quality with very nice presentation. The whole meal is very satisfying with a great view from the room
Super nice experienceSuddenly one of my best Cantonese restaurantsVery rare to have three wows in just one meal:Steamed Pork Dumpling with Sea Urchinand Crabmeat in Pumpkin BrothDouble Boiled Fish Maw and Sea WhelkWok-fried Prawns with Salty Egg
the food quality, vibe and environment, it is surprisingly good!
If youre itching from the Japanese Olympics atmosphere but cant get to Japan, there are a few things you can do... one of which is to consume Japanese food, specifically Hamayaki style grilled shrimp. Yummy! Seafood is quite tasty! Dealing with abalone is difficult, but all I have to do now is take a seat and wait for the food.
Ample dim sum choices, friendly and warm services, modern elegant decor and delicate & tasty food made our lunch experience a pleasant one!
Excellent service. The waiters are very nice. The food is delicious and full of surprises. Will definitely come again.
Good food and service, best Chinese food in townThey are very friendly and professional, really attentive
Food is very good and tasty.. The environment is comfortable.
Food is very good and tasty. Staff are very polite and attentive. The environment is comfortable.
Fabulous view! Amazing food and attentive service!
Great Harbour view with delicious dishes prepared to very high standard ! Excellent service ! Very good ambiance and spacious! One of the best Michelin stars Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong !
Great value set lunch, excellent Chinese tea. (This is a Michelin star restaurant, what else you want to know?)
Visited in 2016! Went there for lunch and amazing dim sum menu. Table ware in jade. Siew Mai in black truffles
every dishes served were of excellent quality and unique, where it is not easy to try in other restaurant in Hong Kong.
One of the nicest dining rooms I have ever been in, complete with a magnificent harbour view. Absolutely outstanding Cantonese food and the perfect spot for a celebration meal.
Not quite the same this time as I experienced before. Soup served was lukewarm, service suffered as less staff were on duty, as evidenced by the need to chase order, chase for the bill and less frequent in checking for the needs of guests. Feel disappointed as I strongly recommended it to my friends.
First time visiting K11, and tried this restaurant for dim sum. Excellent quality and attention to details in service! As the limit per table is only two, they asked customers if they’d like partial orders (Eg. Get two dumplings instead of four), which was very considerate! Would love to visit again! Seating really comfortable too, with extra cushions for back support. Made my elderly mom very happy !
Michelin star from top to bottomSuperb food qualityMega Attentive serviceWonderful harbour viewCosy atmosphereGood value for moneyMust go restaurant
Really yammy dim sum and great service. Went with my bestie, the waitress gave us great suggestion on ordering the food so that we can try all the signature dishes. They also tailor make the portion (2 pcs in a portion not 3 as the tradition). They introduce each dishes and answered all question we got. So far the most delicious and greatest dim sum experience in HK.
One of the best services in Chinese restaurants in HK. Great food and great view as well :)
Very nice environment but the food weren’t as good as expected
I went there as a party of 2. We preordered Peking Duck. It was very good, but its very big portion, so you should go with bigger party so you can enjoy more dishes. Service was great. Good view of Victoria harbour. I will go again.
An excellent choice if you are looking to impress and indulge. Delicious and exquisite Cantonese cuisine with a view of the Bay. Selected the $888 premium lunch set, and it was worth the slightly high price-tag. Restaurant even threw in a small cake after learning that it was a birthday celebration. Great overall experience.
Simply wow on food quality. Although service can be improved during lunch..staff seemed a little disoriented and made several small mistakes with serving wrong dish to wrong person. we had to serve ourselves tea multiple times also. And ask for refill. We had the large set menu for 888hkd which is a very reasonable price.
The decoration is contemporary and stylish. Table arrangement is not too spacious. Food is of Chinese cuisine and dim sum, staff are friendly and attentive. The food is averaged and the presentation is excellent, however, its pricey for lunch and lot more for dinner too. The Yan Toh Heen restaurant is located at the Intercontinental Hotel Hong Kong with a great view to the Victoria Harbour and also to a section of Avenue of Stars.
A fantastic experience, awesome food with great customer service. Saw Donnie Yan as a bonus, he sat right beside our table.
Good food, great aged puer and outstanding wine list with a fabulous view to match.
The food is delectable; the plating is pleasing and the service was absolutely incredible – highly worthy of its Michelin Star rating! And don’t forget the spectacular view!
Michelin 2 stars Cantonese restaurant, excellent Victoria harbor view, caring services, delicious food. Dim Sum also good in both on taste and looking.
Delicious Peking Duck (Preorders 24h before)The whole experience was wow, from the beautiful Harbour view, interior design, table setup to service and food.Must visit in Hong Kong!
Nice presentation and atmosphere. But no surprise of the taste.
Foods are healthy and at high standard, but just fail to leave a strong impression.
This classic restaurant inside the Intercon is a hidden gem! Super old school jade plates and tables. good view. GREAT FOOD!!
Got the $888 HKD business luncheon menu. It as good but not 2 Michelin stars good. Definitely over priced for dim sum.
Environment is very comfortable👍🏻🙂! Dim sum taste very good, yummy!!😋😋BBQ pork texture is great!🤤
High quality of food , service with 2star Michelin guarantee. Love crab claw, spicy grouper in pot clay & Fried Shrimp Wonton with sweet & sour sauce.
Bland Food, Hit or Miss Service, High Prices.TL;DR: see titleWent for lunch and ordered a la carte dim sum. Each had a cocktail; sweet and one note. Don’t order cocktails here as they don’t know how to make a good cocktail. Ordered sparkling water; it arrived. Ordered chrysanthemum tea at the beginning of the meal and had to ask for it at the end of the meal as it never arrived.Food: we were really excited about the shrimp dumpling with mango and yuzu. The dumplings had shrimp — not sure what happened to the yuzu or mango. Six sauces were placed on the table; never received an explanation of what they were or what dishes they would work best with. The fried pork bun was the best dish. The hot & sour soup was also good. The rest of the dishes were bleh (abalone, another shrimp dumpling, four other dishes). After the last dish was cleared and our tea was finally served, we waited another forty minutes for the server to return so we could get the check.Grand total for a two hour mediocre meal: US$230. Advice: skip this place. A lotta hype, but no delivery.
Amazing restaurant with a great selection of classic dishes and also signature dim sum such as the deep fried taro net with abalone, which is excellent. I also love the siu mai, har gau, and roast pork. You can opt for the lunch course menu, or ala carte options. Dress code is strictly no shorts or flip flops.
Look pleasing, taste great! Treated my mom a birthday lunch, the birthday buns壽包 came out with a glass box with dry ice smoke coming out. Mom enjoyed it!! It was about hk$1000 for 2 people.
Heavenly Cantonese dishes. Outstanding service. Very comfortable and graciously decorated environment. It really deserved the high prices.
Service was fantastic! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there and they made it extra special. We are vegetarian/vegan and they were able to accommodate. They have a vegetarian menu that can be made vegan with slight adjustments. Their signature mango dessert is a must try!
