Yamazaki - Japanese restaurant in Sevilla, Spain
Really amazing food. Fresh and food flavors. Only suggestion would be to make service a little faster. We were in no rush but we noticed that it took too long between meals. But I will totally go back! Really yummy and friendly staff!
Definitely not the most authentic Japanese place but we had our expectations set right, we are in the Mediterranean after all. Was looking for a tiny break from the great tapas weve been having. The food was decent in taste, they could have cooked their noodles more al dente for the ramen and yakisoba, slightly overcooked for our liking. Portions were decent, we shared the menu el día between 2,and it was just right. Its a pretty place but honestly the service is what is lacking here. The male server was great, the female one rubbed us the wrong way. When we asked her for the set menu, she immediately said "No, we dont have one" without even bothering to check first. And we definitely knew that they had one because the table next to us just ordered from it. Not sure if shes new but she wasnt the most pleasant service staff that we have encountered. Not horrible but definitely far from great.
Great sushi and service, beautiful music and a gorgeous place in general. We loved it here!
Great sushi experience!! This place has it all. The waiters were on top of everything, and they speak great English, as well as Spanish. The food was delicious and beautiful presentation. You will not be disappointed.
Unbelievably high quality food for the price. Would highly recommend the sushi mix platter. Ingredients were fresh and delicious!
Came here to take a break from all the tapas we’ve enjoyed all week. The food and service was excellent. The pan-fried chicken gyoza, ramen, and yakisoba dishes were exactly what we were looking for, and the flavors were on point. Hangover cure!
Excellent food and service.. There were lots of vegetarian options available. The food was very tasty. The service was perfectly timed and staff was very friendly. Crisel was wonderful.
Great restaurant, excellent Japanese cuisine and very service oriented friendly staff…
A great sushi and Japanese cuisine option in Seville. Yamakazi is offering up authentic dishes like ramen and super fresh nigiri! This place would be booked out in any cosmopolitan city and is a gem of Sevilla.
Really really nice food and excellent service. The nicest meal Ive had in all of Spain.
yummy sushi with a nice view of the setas. the stir fried udon was also very tasty. it was open late, which is why we stumbled into here, but was very glad to have found this spot. we had a v tasty meal & would recommend if you’re craving sushi in sevilla!
Very good, 1 ramen and 2 Yamasaki.
The food is not fresh at all. Very nice staff, and the location is wonderful, although the is not good. They have to upgrade the quality, definitely.
Love this place! I’ve gone to sushi places in NY and it doesn’t come as fresh as this. We had the sushi espacial and it came with 40 pieces at such an affordable price. We will come back to try more nigiri before we leave Spain.
Great place for Japanese and Asian fusion in Seville! Very pleased with the service, quality of food and atmosphere. I have been there multiple times and the food is consistently good.
Truly excellent sushi in a classy atmosphere. Butterfish tartar was a blessing. Highly recommended.
Perfectly prepared japanese food, wonderfully presented and served with a smile.
Fantastic place. We were here at lunch time and had the 16 euro menu... Each course was delicious and beautifully presented. We left stuffed and very happy.
One of the best food experiences Ive ever had. The Tempura was so thin it was transparent and the Okonomiyaki was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive and all this for a great price. Well worth a visit.
Service was excellent. Great view of the square from the patio. We had mostly vegetarian options.
Really bad ramen, dont order, rest might be good, didnt try it. There was a hair in a shrimp in the ramen..
Good service and Great Great food! Better than Iki, who is much higher up the list! Go here, you won’t regret.
They have to remove the ramen out of their menu! It doesnt taste like Ramen at all.
Hidden gem of Japanese food in Seville! The gyoza was delicious, having proper chuncks of chicken and veg rather than the paste like consistency you get in some gyoza.Their unagi rolls are delicious and highly reccomend along with their sushi mix sets.Staff were so friendly and attentive.Would advise to order everything you want at once as everything is made from fresh so things will just come out when they are ready. Can always order more as you go if needed.
Food was alright but waited nearly an hour for our sushi which wasn’t that complicated, California roll, spicy tuna and tempura roll…The restaurant wasn’t that busy to justify the wait…
Located just a few feet away from the Setas, right at the Plaza de la Encarnación. The dishes are freshly prepared and have a very neat presentation. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service amicable. I wouldve given a 5 star but it took them very long to prepare our order, more than 40 minutes and there was no explanation.
Big disappointment.. we had ramen, or at least something that was called ramen, but turned out to be a very thin soup with almost no taste and mediocre stuff inside.. maybe its not their specialty, but then why even have it in your menu..
Yamazaki is an Japanese restaurant of course, i had two dishes and they where perfect!I saw on the menu that they had Waguy beef, and I have a reservation for tomorrow. 🥰"The meat comes from the Wagyu breed of cattle, which was originated in Japan and is also known as Kobe meat. It stands out from the rest thanks to its extraordinary culinary uses and is one of the most select and highly-prized meats in the world."
Not recommended. Sushi plato not worth the money (sushi was warm). Tempura is overpriced. Very expensive comparing to other restaurants. Owner is Chinese not Japanese.
Warm food with fresh ingredients in the very center of Sevilla.✓ Comfy spot✓ Friendly service✓ Tasty products (Okonomiyaki was really good!)~ Slowly, not even full and so late and bad organised.~ Service forget essential things.~ They quit the menu whenever they please (not just on national holidays), which is unfortunate.~ pricey for what you getMy recommendation: eat here if menus available, if not, go elsewhere!
Excellent sushi, grilled salmon and gyoza. Very friendly and helpful staff, despite the busyness of the place. The daily menu is super affordable and the portions are substantial. Totally recommendable.
Don’t waste your time nor your money at this restaurant. They are not Japanese. The food we ordered took almost 40 minutes to be prepared and we were the ONLY costumers at the restaurant. We had to tell them to make it to go. When we opened the containers the chicken was undercooked! I forgot to mention that the waitress was very unfriendly! Their customer service is horrible!
Missed rice so went to this reataurant :Lunch Deldia was definitely cost-worthy or maybe more than the cost
Taste is so good! We order Sushi for 12pcs and gyoza pollo. We order sushi 12pcs more when we bite sushi right away. I didn’t expect that I can eat nice sushi in seville. Buy miso soup was too salty. But they change the soup until its okay. If you visit here then you should try gyoza!!
The lunch menu was just perfect and affordable. We both had the same selection, Miso soup, Tataki of Tuna, a mixed plate of sushis, a dish of Udon noodles and for dessert a refreshing mango jelly for one, a lichee jelly for the other. We chose Japanese beers to accompany lunch, the Kirin Ichiban being the better choice, closer to a Weissbier in taste. Service was great, the lady spoke English well enough and very friendly. Everyone else was very polite. Great location, we preferred eating inside to escape the heat, the sun and the general city buzz for a moment.
Nothing to complain about. Great food, everything was freshly prepared and unlike some of the comments on here, it was not expensive at all, especially when compared to other Japanese restaurants/sushi bars in Sevilla that are not as ideally located. Beside the food, the staff was even better. Knowledgeable, professional, very caring and kind. Ive been in Michelin star rated restaurants and the staff was nowhere near as good as the staff in here. Definitely worth a try. Kudos the everyone involved in this little Japanese oasis.
Excellent food, loved every dish. Good sized portions for tapas prices. Very friendly staff as well. And nice view from the terrace.
We had some Gyoza (both chicken and duck options), the mixed tempura, the sushi and sashimi plates. The best japanese I had in Seville so far. Pricey but highly-recommended, if you are looking for a treat on a special day.
Delightful, excellent sushi, and what’s more, excellent service.
Worst ramen experience ever. Tasted like instant noodles and costed too much(10-11). NOT A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY. And they charged plain rice for 3.5 Euro. Tartar was okay.
Super lovely place! Great service. They speak English too.I don’t necessarily recommended their ramen, it’s not so authentic and it’s not really ramen. Just good soup lol. As for the sushi goes, I’d stick with the nigiri and sashimi. Soooo yum.
GREAT !!! 👑👑👑👑👑Menu 10€ (four amazing meals + dessert)Tasty, great quality for such an unique flavour.Tuna tataki was my favourite 😋, no picture because I ate it so fast.
We decided to come this place for Asian fix after spending few days in Spain. I don’t even know what to say here. We ordered salmon sashimi after reading bad reviews about tuna, thinking we can’t go wrong with salmon. It was our mistake... raw salmon was slimy and it even came out warm oh it was revolting. Other rolls tasteless. Overall, very underwhelming - not recommended at all. I don’t even understand how this place has a 4.2 star rating. The only redeeming a star is the ginger.
We both ordered 10 euro lunch menu and were very happy with what we got: 4 dishes each plus dessert. Totally worth it to come here for lunch. Ramen was only dish that we felt wasn’t right. Waitresses were very polite and spoke good English
Super friendly staff, delicious food, great price and you can eat in front of the Metropol Parasol. Highly recommended. We ate the 10€ menu, 4 plates + desert and cant complain about anything.
Nice little Japanese restaurant located right off of the Setas de Seville with awesome sushi!
Im travelling around Spain for a month and felt like trying something other than tapas. I was very excited to see what looked like an authentic japanese restaurant..unfortunately my experience of the food was far below average. In the maki , the seaweed was so old and rubbery i couldnt chew it properly. The yaki soba noodles tasted like 2 min noodles but had a tomato ketchup flavour. Very disappointed. Staff were friendly though. Also its very overpriced for what you get.
MOST DISRESPECTFUL RESTAURANT EVER!!!!!FIRST of all, my 5 friends and I went to this restaurant for lunch after class. We politely asked if they can arrange the tables so we can all sit and eat together. The waitress refused. We pulled 2 chairs and sat down on a smaller table. (No problemthen we looked at the menu and were about to order everything on it because 1we were super hungry and 2we wanted to try out all their food. The waitress made us feel so uncomfortable, that we decided to go to another restaurant. Instead of ditching the place, we decided to stay have a drink. And when we told the waitress this, she gave us a rude look and walked away. She came back and told us: "Next time, you guys cant come here if you dont order food." And walked away. After I received my drink, we paid our bill. They stood there and watched me finish my drink and the second I finished my drink, she told us we had to LEAVE the restaurant. Meanwhile her boss stood outside watching all this happen. We went to another restaurant and ordered 130€ worth of food. they lost out on some GOOD business because they judged us on our looks and had the WORST customer experience. Do not go here. Across the street is a better restaurant called Homu.
9.9 for a lunch set. No drink incl.. comes with a small dessert. Good good!
This place is great! Simply fantastic food, my father and me ate there twice and it was so good, even if we did not know what we ordered. Additionally the service is somewhat professional and although they have trouble communicating in English, they stayed friendly and helpful. If you are looking for another cuisine then tappas, then I highly recommend you trying this restaurant!
