Yakimix - Sushi restaurant in Manila, Philippines
Good food, great ambiance. However, birthday treats are so noisy and disruptive for other customers and the staff did this several times when we were there.
They serve delicious food, their staff is very accommodating and hospitable, the ambiance is nice and friendly. I will surely recommend it with my friends and family.
offers less variety of food but their service is good and ambiance is great. Restau is also clean
Great place to entertain friends
We said with the wife to try a new restaurant for today, Very bad experience except for the sushi nothing else was tasteful on the contrary, tasteless.Plus they charged us another 400 pesos because we left leftovers... The funny part is the prices outside didnt mention anything about it. Never again there. are better choices.
Big place. If you like to grill meat, then this is the place for you. Not a lot of food choices compared to others but with their price it is still ok. Love their pork belly. I also like their DIY halohalo.
YUCKY MIX --- Id give this place half a star if it was an option.. and that is simply because they serve sushi. Nothing worth coming back to in this place. It would seem like the staff had training on how exactly NOT to treat customers right! We were 16 in our group, and they had the gall to charge us P400 for leftover which would not have been the case if their cooking equipment was properly working. Very unsanitary too, no wonder they dont want cameras in their buffet table. This experience ruined my natural liking for sushi restos. Never again.
a wide array of dishes, and foods are refilled from time to time. affordable compared to others
Nice promo P112
I don’t give out reviews.Half the time, most people won’t read them and the majority of the time it’s just a wasted effort so I just move on. However, to save even a single person from my experience would be worth the effort of this review. This service is horrendous.Their food that’s out, it’s dry. It’s cold. It’s like they’re serving awful food knowing people can’t possibly finish off their plate so they hit them with an unsuspecting “left over” charge. After living here for four months, and my fiancé and I traveling and enjoying a multitude of restaurants in the Metro Manila — this is hands down beyond one of the worst places I’ve ever had to endure. Disgusting food, terrible customer service and deceptive, too.We go to buffets from time to time, we know of the clean plate policy being pretty standard but here, there was no verbal notice nor was there even a sign indicating it.. Conveniently for them. To top this off, we mentioned it to staff and essentially received no response back. Terrible service. Terrible food. Hilariously enough, they will stuff the 400 pesos down your throat too, like their terrible food. Please. Save your money. Don’t give them the service. I never will again.Just go to Tong Yang on the ground floor. Significantly better staff — happier, more welcoming and warm in their effort to provide top notch service to its patrons. Not to mention superior food, two soup options and guess what? Unlimited beer, too. I’ve been to Tong Yang over 5 times now, and I’ve yet to leave feeling dissatisfied. I imagine anyone else will feel as I did, content with their food!Just.. avoid this place.
returnees and I love the place, big and spacious, food selection was great, international cuisine, service from. the staffwas excellent!!!
Nice food but a little bit short of food refill especially on the grill items.
Great food and plenty of choices.
Foods are delicious. Place is cozy.
Awesome food as always. Great vibe. Good price. I wouldve given 5⭐ but thats that.
This yakimix has insufficient food choices compared to the other yakimix ive been. Halo2x station doesnt have purple icecream or atleast vanilla icecream. Food was boring.
This place had cockroachs running all over the food. When we told the staff pulled the food then later put it back when they didnt thinks we were looking. They should have put fresh food out and thrown that food away.
Very nice place with great food and ambience, i will return soon
Good Ambiance and wide range of dishes are served in the buffet. Had a blast!
Super Happy BirthMonth ko this December . Me and My coworkers desided to eat here and surprisingly they offer free for those with Birthday. Its my Birthday so its FREE ❤️❤️❤️
I love their sushi selection, but cleanliness could be improved.
Yakimix is open again for vaccinated people. Still has good food selection. The staff are super kind too.
Not a lot of choices nowadays maybe because dining in is only restricted at 30% capacity. The tuna sashimi was not available during my visit and the replenishment of sushi and sashimi was not regularly done. Also, limited cooked and raw food for grilling. Service was okay even if the store was understaffed.
Taste of foods were still good as to before but less appealing based on presentation as to previous years.
First time at this branch. I was looking forward to their ice cream station but I didnt see a lot of options
Delicious food. Featuring my favorite strawberry ice cream. 😍
Self serve Korean BBQ is the only reason to eat here, but there are cheaper less crowded alternatives for that.
Its the same restaurant since 3 years ago. I came back in September 2019 with family members. Yakimix still offers lunch & dinner buffet. The rate for Dinner buffet, if i recall, is Php 800+ (about USD 22). Lunch buffet is cheaper than dinner. Also, here you can grill your own meat (fish, chicken cutlets, beef, etc). Staff are courteous. Just like some restaurants in the Philippines, they have singing waiters who will serenade you if its your birthday.
Worst buffet experience and not value for money at all. When you reach the food station no salmon sashimi, no tuna and worst no tempura. They wait for the customers to ask for refill but they take their precious time refilling it until the customers give up in waiting. And when they refill it, the serving is good for one person only.. Stay away from this place. Quality and service is not the same as before.
You can choose whatever you want from a lot of selections. Seafoods, meat, salad, dessert, drinks etc. Also, their smokeless grill is superb!
I lost my bracelet Oct 4 , 2019,and I am able to get it back . Thank you so much for having an honest staff. More power!!!
Expensive, very crowded. Staff doesnt really know or care what is going on. Food is good but not replaced in timely manner, half of the entrees were empty the other half had been molested by previous customers and really not appetizing to look at. Have a little bitty cooler with a few pieces of ice in and no one checks it or refills it. Another place charging a service charge that really doesnt provide a service, it is a buffet you get everything for yourself. They dont even provide service to their buffet. I will never pay their prices again.
Its good and quite cheap rather than viking but it falls too short on menus that they can give unkike vikings, thats why its linda cheap. Good place to hangout with friends and good quality of food, so far i like this place. Recommended!
celebrated "fathers" day ... still long queing system. . . food? nothing special that was served..
Delicious food 😋 ambiance are good 😊 the price for eat all you can is worth it. You can cook meat and seafood of your choice. They are complete from soup to desserts. Must try 👍👍
Very limited food variety compared to other buffet restos or even to other yakimix branches. Had to wait more than 10 mins for certain food to be refilled. Dessert is so so if not bad.
Coffee machine was broken. A side of the grill wasnt heating up as much as the other areas of the grill. The wash room could be drier and cleaner. They ran out of pineapple 😔
Yakimix Robinsons Manila we usually dine. Good food for a pallate to satisfy. You can cook or just choose the variety of food around. I usually get the creamy pop as my favorite dessert.Discount price be found at Metrodeal apps.
Went there for an office birthday party. Everybody was satisfied with the quantity and quality of the food. Variety of dishes are available, mostly Japanese and Chinese, will satisfy most. Prices are affordable. Prices per person vary depending on day and time, starting from 600 pesos. Will definitely go back.
The prepared food is old, greasy, and dried out The food you can grill yourself is not so great either. Do yourself a favor, just go to the food court, if youre hungry and want good food. If you want want to over pay for poor quality food, for the added feature of having comfortable booth to sit, then yakimix might be for you.
Affordable buffet and smokeless grill. Choices are more of Asian (Japanese/Chinese and a bit Korean). Staff are quick to assist, clear tables and provide refill of the dishes.ProsTempura is good and it tastes clean. Refills are timely so you wont have to wait long.Seats are wide and comfortable.Chocolate ice cream. ✔️ConsI hope they could improve the smell on the drinks station though, theres a weird smell.Gyoza filling tastes like siomai.
Just the right amount and choices. But for the price, other buffet services has wider offerings. Still, the ambience was great and the grill was okay.
Delicious food and accommodating staff!
Dependable and a nice alternative buffet that is worth its price. The group of buffet 101, yakimix and another Id say is better with seafood than Saisaki.
Ideal if you want a cheap buffet. Around 599 pesos. Pretty good selection for the cost. Gets busy as lots of mall workers eat here
This buffet resto is recommended for the hungry tummy out there. Unlimited main dishes, desserts and drinks. You can cook your choice of meat as well. Although they have a limited varieties of cuisines, you can still enjoy the mouth watering dishes they offer. The ambiance is great as well.
Not so many food options. Most foods are carb-loaded (squid balls, creamy soup, etc. When we visited, prawns were smaller than usual, but that might be coincidental. I think Yakimix in Robinson is a little smaller than the one at Greenbelt 3. But smokeless grilling was a great experience for my first timer kids.
As always they do offer pleasingly rich and mouthwatering eat-all-you-can food. Place was smaller compared to the other Yakimix branches, so I do advise you reserve or come earlier so you could secure a slot. Best way to maximize the buffet is to skip a meal.
Its ok. A typical Yakimix resto. Like its other branches, there are plenty of foods to choose from.
They offer eat all you can meal. Their price is cheaper during off peak hours (e.g. weekdays lunch). You can choose buffet or you can grill your food yourself. Their buffet offers Filipino, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine.
