Fabulous food amazing staff

We have ordered from here a few times, I think the food is lovely. My issue is when I drove past last Saturday (13th March), I noticed the lady behind the counter serving food with no hat, no hair tied back, no hair net, it was disgusting. So therefore on this situation I shall never order from here again.

The food here is really fresh and the chips are amazing. I always get the mixed grill platter which has a variety of different meats, salad, bread and hand cut chunky chips and the meze starter which has the usual Greek picky food and dips included. Their house special sauce is really delicious too so I highly recommend getting that. Rated down because the food was slow, took longer than estimated which looking at other reviews seems to be a regular occurrence and wasnt that warm when it arrived.

Having driven passed this place many times taking my daughter to and from home, finally decided to try it. Should have stopped here years ago! The food is delicious! My wife, daughter and I had different meals, all brilliant and we all felt like we were back on holiday in Greece! Cant recommend this place any more highly. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Very poor service and crappie food. Waste of money

Ordered a chicken gyro, it arrived cold with 2 chips inside. The so called chicken was salty and burnt, it definitely was not fresh! I have only rated it 1 star as there is no option for zero. Never will I order from here again. Absolutely disgusting!

I have been served only 8 chips with my meal which came 30min late and cold when I called to say it was ridiculous the person in the phone was really rude. Used to be good ... Lost in quality

We receive our order 15min late. And the food was burn it didn’t taste as Greek food at all. My dish was supposed to be vegetarian, of course it wasn’t; beside that everything on it was old and disgusting.When o try to call and claim they were very rude.Never again. We had to throw it away to avoid food poisoning.

Very very overpriced food for the quality. Make sure you check the prices on justeat so you know what you are paying for and it wont be a nasty surprise. Food was also just so-so, loukaniko was definitely not the real deal and the seftalies, while tasty, was not wrapped with caul fat.

Fake overpriced food, shame on you selling ordinary smoked sausage as Greek spicy sausage and that feta absolutely disgusting... soggy and cold to I fell mugged

Absolutely horrendous service. Our order was being picked up by Ubereats and was then cancelled. On phoning yasouvlaki, the staff were extremely rude - "if you ordered through Ubereats it has nothing to do with us" and "youve got your money back what do you want us to do". How about, it is your kitchen, accept responsibility for your subcontractors. Not recommended at all - avoid.

Absolutely delicious, good quality Greek food all freshly cooked to order.

Looked forwards to ordering. Waited over an hour whilst it was being cooked. 5 mins before it was supposed to be delivered they cancelled the order without any explanation. Shocking service. Avoid like the plague.

Great food I love it! Staff could be a bit more attentive

Mixed Chicken & Pork Gyros Main, had the Ya Souvlaki special sauce. Tasted like english mustard mixed with mayonnise. All meat was scraps, no big pieces. Salad fresh but was not cut very well. Onion in one piece. Overpriced for £10, feel like daylight robbery.

I ordered 2 days in a row. First day I ordered pork gyro wrap with tzatziki and fries. The tzatziki was nearly not existed, 4 pieces of fries and gyros was very little and that really small pieces that usually they drop down.The 2nd day I ordered the pork gyros main, again gyros was that small pieces they usually throw away and the amount of meat was less than 50grams. You may fooling British ppl but not Greeks.

Great service, beautiful food and really clean.... there is the option to sit and eat in... highly recomend this place if youre really hungry and passing by...you wont be disappointed.... but take cash as card isnt accepted... cant wait to return.

Authentic Greek souvlaki. This small place in Fallow field sells Greeces favourite fast food - quick, cheap, no cutlery necessary and nutritious. There are a few tables - I guess you could eat in but the majority of their trade is takeaways. I have just finished eating a *proper* pork souvlaki of the sort Ive not eaten since I was last in Χανιά. And at £4.30 its cheaper than going on plane 😉.

DO NOT USE.Ordered bacon wrapped chicken skewers, ate half before realising that most of the chicken was raw in the middle resulting in food poisoning.Contacted them to complain, the manager was totally rude, abusive and threatening.It seems this isn’t an isolated incident either.

Food was horrible and raw, which caused the family to get food poisoning, rang the takeway to speak to the manager and the man on the phone was extremely rude and refused to acknowledge the situation and started swearing and threatented to come to our house and "sort us out".Very disappointed and would not recommend this takeway and seeing other reviews there have been other cases similar to mine.

I am giving you just one star because an hour ago I have ordered a large chicken skewers with your so called Ya Souvlaki Special Sauce and one piece halloumi but guess what ? I didnt receive the sauce nor the halloumi that I paid. Instead I received a mayonnaise sauce! I was really disappointed ! To be honest the chicken, the bread and the chips were delicious but I wanted my sauce and halloumi. Be careful with what you guys send to people!

Waited for over an hour, ring them and i am told delivery was on the way. After waiting for anotber 10 minutes rang them back to be told that the manager cancelled the order and i asked to speak to the manager just to be told he isnt there that he spoke to the manager over the phone. I live in a area which is so easy to find the house by just putting postcode on google. Then all i got was i am sorry i cant help you. What a waste of time and personally dont even think they sent the order.

Best greek takeaway in the area, never received a wrong order even when different requests have been made

Be careful with this chain.The food is tasty, yet not consistent.I got a raw grill. With raw pork, chicken and burger. Thats dangerous.If you care for your health try to avoid this place.They do not do refunds or anything about the problem either. So if they give you raw food, then you lose your money.So it is best not to take that risk.Hopefully, they are more careful with the food they send. Or eventually they will end up reported to council.

Good food but small food portions

An absolute joke of a takeaway. Food portions are extremely small for what you pay. They are riding on a reputation for good traditional greek food which quite frankly no longer applies. The service is poor, delivery even worse. Only there for money. A ridiculous place, go spend your money elsewhere

Great authentic pita gyros experience and amazing Greek dishes

Worst food ever!! The food was cold, the pitta was old, everything was sticky. This is not how Greek food is supposed to taste. Interestingly, I have ordered from this restaurant before (2 years agoand the food was excellent. Recent change in management maybe? I’m never ordering from this place again

Cold, soggy food after an hour and a half wait. No answer when calling the restaurant.

Way over priced for the food portion sizes, but is actually cooked nice, delivery time average.

"Fake cheese" my arse! Thats Halloumi and its the best. This place is bloody great, very very nice grub and is very fresh too. I personally Recommend the Bifteki with Cheese. They actually hand cut the chips and do them right there and its worth it too cos theyre the nutz too. super nice guys too.

So... All in all a very disappointing experience. The food is way overpriced for what you get. The main dishes did not have tzatziki or any other sauce in them (despite whats being advertised on the menuand the mezze platter was a laughing a stock. A grand total of two olives (in a sharing platter, two!with a salad (a pinch of lettuce on the bottom of the tray), made for a very disappointing experience... When I tried resolving the issue by calling the restaurant, the chef actually shouted me down for not knowing how they serve things before backing out and saying that he only does what the manager tells him to do. Well... Wouldnt recommend at all, spend your money somewhere else.

Its a takeaway so not that healthy but the souvlaki boxes are filling and well made. The pita breads deserve extra mention for tasting so good!

I have had only takeaway from Ya Souvlaki so far and its been always amazing. Delicious food, always warm for a great price! Yesterday it took a little bit longer which I understand (Friday night, it gets busierand the driver was very nice and apologised for it. Five stars for me and my boyfriend who wants to order greek meals only from Ya Souvlaki.

Pork Gyros (Gyros is like donner meatis Outstanding! £3.70/£4.90 👌🏽

first and last time hand cut chips were soggy and tasted of old oil, the main course pork gyros £8.20 was mostly these horrible chips with a bit of red onion and 2 pieces of tomato, a small pitta bread cut into 4 triangles and theres more meat on a pencil than there is the gyro. all in all very disappointed and very thirsty(how much salt do u guys put in food).i should have eaten the money that i paid for this with it would have tasted nicer

Very impressed, quick delivery & very nice authentic Greek gyros. Quality of meat, chips, pita & salad all top class. Only a couple of small tweeks would make it better: sauce was quality but could be a bit larger & chicken gyros didnt come with onion in salad. All being said best take out Ive had in as long as I can remember & I will be ordering again :)

Absolutely shocking attitude from the deliverer, manager the deliverer refusing to deliver the food & refusing to leave their car. I would give it a 0 star if I could they need to work on their customer relations.

Awful, overpriced, ridiculously small portions. Fake cheese, terrible meat, slow service, dishes not as described at all. Food used to be ok here, it looks like they have completely given up now.Like their so-called Soutzoukakia described as seasoned meatballs in a home-made tomato sauce, served with hand cut chips. Instead you get a dried burger patty and a handful of soggy chips.Thats it, no sauce or seasoning for a hefty £7. Its humiliating and disrespectful to serve such crap.Glad so many other places are opening in the area with much better quality.Time to close this business down !

Authentic Greek food and not expensive. The portions are great and its made right there. Definitely a bit of a grimy take away but that shouldnt put you off. Take away and serve at home for a taste of Greece
