YULU SEVENTY SEVEN RESORT in Anuradhapura

Nice place. Nice peoples. But pool for the frogs not peoples;)

I stayed in this place on the 27th and 28th May 2022. The basic provisions were excellent with clean rooms, linen and wash rooms. The A/C and in room TV worked well. Add to that a clean pool and ample space in the well kept garden for outdoor activities. "Tharaka" the care taker was such a helpful guy. Nothing to complain of. It was a great stay!

Wir sind als Paar spontan vorbeigekommen, um uns ein Angebot für zwei Nächte einzuholen. Uns wurde sofort ein vorbereitetes und sauberes Zimmer angeboten. Auch der Pool war blitzsauber.Wir haben unsere Zeit hier nicht zuletzt deshalb sehr genossen, weil die Mitarbeiter sehr nett sind. Lakshman hat uns sogar zu seiner Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen.Super war auch der günstige Fahrradverleih und die Nähe zu einigen Restaurants bzw. Bäckereien. Dennoch ist das Hotel ruhig gelegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind deshalb sogar eine Nacht länger geblieben als geplant.

Nice & Clean place to stay overnight in Anuradhapura area. Valuable for the price. Located little bit away from the Pujanagaraya.

I stay here with my family just for a one day and that was wonderful stay.Rooms are here very clean and well maintain.special thanks for the LAXMAN who is always helpfull,friendly and calm.S/O KUMARA also really helpfull and friendly.I really recomand this place, they provide good service ,and maintain good standerd.much better if they operate the kitchen and resturant service.

When we booked LuLu’s there was only a 3 person room available. Upon arrival we discovered we were the only guests in the hotel. We attempted to move to a 2 person room for a cheaper price but apparently the cost was already locked in with Agoda and could not be changed.The room itself was tidy but in a run down state. The bathroom door was missing a door handle and could not be closed. The door to the room itself did not sit flush in the frame and could only be closed by locking it. The safe needed new batteries and a warped fridge cupboard refused to shut, whilst the balcony was inaccessible to us, the only door in the room locked firmly closed. A grubby bathmat adorned the floor outside the bathroom. Everything seemed weathered, down to the wobbly bedroom furniture. This was indicative of the overall state of the hotel.Watch your head on the way down to the pool. The poorly designed staircase is a real danger to anyone over 5’8”. A faded pool toy lay abandoned. next to the pool, which seemed clean, although surrounded by outbuildings in various states of disrepair and swarming mosquitoes.The only time our room was cleaned was when we requested it. Nobody came to refresh towels or provide fresh coffee cups. Outside, discarded dishes were left to be carried away by ants, rather than any proud staff. At some point the hotel offered massage and whilst the sign and pricing remained, the massage area is now a store room for towels. The wifi is one of those annoying username/password systems. It worked but we continually needed new passwords.The kitchen/dining area had an unpleasant odour, which made us feel very uneasy about eating at the hotel, though the breakfast of omelette, toast and fruit was satisfactory.On the positive, Rukshan was very accomodating. He packed us a basic breakfast at 4.30am on the morning of our Wilpattu visit, which he also helped arrange. The security guard was friendly and we hired two bicycles from the hotel, which made our visit to the ancient city an absolute adventure.Overall Lulu’s is a barely functioning operation, manned by staff who seem to have given up. We would not stay at LuLu’s again.

Новый чистый отель в стороне от городского шума. Отличные завтраки. Внимательный и заботливый персонал. Бассейн небольшой, но симпатичный. Договаривайтесь в отеле и смотрите все местные красоты. На сафари нас отвезли очень рано, поэтому было прохладно в джипе, утепляйтесь.

The place is clean and quiet. It is affordable as well. It is situated a bit far from the highway and the market or the town center itself so it is recommended that you have your own transport since there is no public transport that passes in the area. However if you are looking for a cozy and quiet place then this resort is a good choice. The resort is not a very big one but the rooms are quite neat and comfy. The only problem is they dont have cupboards where you could unpack and put your clothes so if you are staying for a few days, your clothes remain in your luggage other than that, it is a pretty good place to stay in. They have free wifi and AC rooms with hot and cold shower. There is no restaurant inside the hotel however on special request, they can prepare your meals. The staffs are nice and very accommodating. I would recommend this place.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Lulu die Zimmer sind sauber, zuvorkommendes Personal. Der Pool wurde von uns gerne genutzt. Shops zu Fuß erreichbar.

Отличный маленький отель. Расположен немного на отшибе, тем не менее в шаговой доступности есть магазины и рестораны. В самом отеле подают только завтраки, тем не менее, можно заказать, и еду принесут из ближайшего ресторана и подадут в отеле. Бассейн не очень глубокий, но всё равно отлично помогает перенести дневную жару. В номерах есть кондиционеры и потолочные вентиляторы. Сам отель очень чистый и аккуратный. Останавливались в нём 2 раза, оба раза остались исключительно довольны.

Conveniently licated in Anuradhapura, reasonably priced. They have cozy rooms with a pillow selection. For that price, having a smimimg pool is a bonus!
