Pared-down option in a strip-mall setting featuring an extensive menu of hearty Chinese classics.
Coconut shrimp very good yes
Walked in and ordered two diners to go lady working the front counter was very pleasant asked me if I would like some tea while I waited on my to go order. Second time here while in town☕️ Tea relaxed me while I waited.
Usually when I go to Asian restaurants, I always get a stomache after (even though it’s deliciousbut panda palace does not do that. I suggest the honey walnut shrimp. It’s PERFECTION. Asian Waitress with bun and glasses is very nice
I think it is the best Chinese food in this area. I highly suggest trying them out. Their prices are extremely reasonable as well. Service was wonderful.
The food here is always delicious, the service is fast and friendly, and the prices are super reasonable. I love this place!
Surpringly good food. Fresh ingredients are used and cooked perfectly. Comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere and decor. Friendly professional staff.
always prompt and i love their fried rice!
Delicious! Stumbled upon Panda Palace, and we were very happy with the experience. The food was light and flavorful, especially enjoyed the soup. The egg drop is a rich yellow from their using the full egg. The hot and sour is a flavorful broth, and lightly hot. The owner brought us crunchy crackers to add to the soup - my partner went a bit crazy with them :Excellent food, service, and cute pandas everywhere. We will be back!
Very consistent food and friendly staff.
Last 3 interactions go as follows. Was seated in the restaurant today and after just shy of 10 min I left because no one came to my table. 2 servers and only 4 tables inside. A few weeks ago I went I got soup with lunch. I asked for chow mein noodles that are always brought with soup but was told we usually don’t give those. What else are they for then? Service was bad and shocker no fortune cookie either. Also wasn’t busy. Time before that was still before indoor dining was back. Called at 2:58 for lunch special and was told sorry it’s 3pm. I went out of my way to go here 12+ times a year. Not anymore.
Excellent dinner spot! Wonton soup had a rich broth and toothsome, well-seasoned wontons. Pan-fried dumplings were delicious and savory. Sesame chicken and honey crispy duck were both awesome, with vegetables that were still crispy. Our server was new and it showed, but she was super friendly and corrected her mistakes right away. Dining room was clean and comfy. Well be back for sure!
The food was a hit and miss, some of it was delicious and some of it wasnt. Our waiter never checked in on us, just brought our food and check but never came back for the check and had to bring it up to the cashier
In my view this is the best Chinese food in Bellingham. They offer a wonderful healthy option menu, serve brown rice. They are very willing to make a needed change to accommodate the customer. If you want an excellent meal that does not break the bank this is a must. This review is being updated to two stars from five. Years ago Panda Palace was the best Chinese food in Bellingham. Now Safeway has better Chinese food. Its sad that they have gone so fare downhill. Beware dont go expecting the food of the past. Its not there anymore. Bland, lack of flavor that Chinese food is so famous for. I hope they make a comeback.
Always the most tender meats. Gave us free soup when we were sick. Very friendly staff.
Food is always excellent. The owners are very caring even giving me and my twin egg drop soup when we where sick. Id recommend this place to my own grandmother.
Should be more like 4.8 stars perhaps: everything we tried has been quite good but nothing really reaches "wow incredible". But this seems to be one of the best Chinese food places around. Note that its been 100% takeout for us, so this is a pure food based rating.
Ordered two large wonton soups for lunch. Only 5-6 wontons in each bowl, not much for $5.95 before tax and tip. All other places give you 10 wontons in large bowl. You can tell the wontons were old, from the night before at least because they were falling apart. After tax and tip it was over $15. Would not recommend.
Straightforward Chinese-American place, but the price is pretty good and the food is prepared with care. I believe theyre only doing pick-up orders now due to COVID, but Ill certainly be back.
Family favorite for sure. Best food in Bellingham in my opinion. Before the pandemic we celebrated everything here from birthdays to our anniversary. I loved the atmosphere and cant wait to enjoy this amazing restaurant again!
I used to rave about your Moo Shu. Today it was meh. But the customer service was awful! We called after driving home and opening the food (which was packed amazingly carefuland told them the order was incomplete. The said it should have included a fried rice. When we told them everything else was correct but no fried rice, they disputed our claim. Like Im going to cheat you out of a fried rice. We understand mistakes happen, just make them right and dont give me a hard time about it. We didnt give you a hard time. I guess that is why Panda Express is so busy. They have great customer service.
Best damn Mongolian beef in town. Nice sized portions. Im not a fan of their egg rolls, but Ive enjoyed everything else Ive ordered from there. The cashier lady is very pleasant. I called in my order ahead and it was good to go when I arrived. Included utensils, sauces, and a fortune cookie for each person. Ill be back here way more than I probably should.
Edit: Restaurant apologized and this restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant Ive had in town. I was just really disappointed getting the wrong order. I had waited all day to eat since we all know how healthy Chinese restaurant food is. Will still go back at some point.Usually good. But when my roommate (Chrisand I got food from there we tried to order a General Tsos Chicken Combo. Lady on the phone kept asking if we wanted Orange Chicken and we corrected her multiple times. Thought all was well and good. Get home and its orange chicken... Orange Chicken isnt even on the combo menu. Had it been a screw up with another item I would be less annoyed, but Orange is one of the few Chinese foods I quite dislike. Unfortunate experience.
I am a bigggg fan of Chinese food & must say this restaurant has some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten! The Mongolian beef & General Tso chicken was amazing. The staff was absolutely delightful. The best part for me though, is the food was even good reheated!!!! Highly recommend this place :)
My family and I have been going to this restaurant for the past 15 years. Its our favorite restaurant to go to because its owned by a local family that have to the sweetest people youll ever meet. The food is consistently high-quality, my favorites being: Coconut shrimp, Mongolian beef, and sweet & sour pork. Youve got to eat here!!!!
I eat here regularly, always as take-out. Everything is delicious. They really know how to prepare vegetables. The general tsos chicken is incredible, as is the mongolian beef. You wont want to share either one. I also recommend the mei fun noodles, something I dont see on other menus. Portions are generous and will feed you for days. Jade and her family work really, really hard. They are very nice and make great food that wont my make you feel gross.
I highly recommend the panda palace, especially over the garbage served across the street at the panda express. The people who work there are always friendly and willing to adjust certain aspects of some of the entrees on the menu. Probably one of the top two chinese food establishments in Bellingham.
The staff(familyis excellent, always helpful and kind. The food is so yum and the variety is off the hook. Vegan and vegetarian options are excellent. We often order take out and the service is something else. Best Asian take out in north Bellingham. Oh and the fish tanks are a great distraction for the little ones..
还可以。Good food. I had the noodle sea food soup, no. 45.The veggies were fresh, cooked, but still crisp. The seafood was fresh. It included scrimp, scallops, and conch.I definitely will return to try the other items on the menu. Maybe even tomorrow.
Best Chinese food in Bellingham! Its greasy and flavorful and cheap, which is exactly what Im looking for with Chinese. I got a huge plate of lo mein, fried rice, and an egg roll for $10.32. The servers are always super friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone!
Literally the best Chinese food I have had in a very long time! And I use to waitress in a Chinese restaurant... definitely give them a try! Our waiter made the experience even better! 😁 Definitely coming back!
Love this place!! Although they no longer have the typical A,B,C,D,ect... "Combination" dinners found at other places, the plate offerings are moderately priced so you can still get a great variety for a decent price.Appetizers are very affordable,I usually get at least 2!! Food is always top notch and the service is excellent! My only issue is they serve the hard chow mien noodles with the soup instead of crackers...
I was visiting Bellingham & everyone I spoke to said this was the best place to eat Chinese food. I beg to differ the food seemed like it was reheated & Im not sure but something tasted a bit rancid? I will not return. One more thing the service was slow & we waited a long time before our order was taken. Not worth $137 bill. T.M.
Most everything we had was delicious and flavorful. The only thing we didnt like was the egg rolls. They tasted odd and were a little undercooked inside. I loved the house special lo-mein.
Always <3 the Mongolian beef. My parents get the seseme shrimp or the general tso chicken. Dragon phenoix is the bomb diggity too. Comes with rice. Appetizers are ok . We order Togo a lot but have sat in too and the service is always friendly AND helpful. Top notch!
Food was horrible. Hot and sour soup was not good, fried dumplings were horrible, pork in the pan fried noodles literally tasted spoiled. I asked for fried rice and got steamed rice. Staff was nice but very slow. Their politeness saved them from one star. Yes the food was that bad.
Always love this palace. The food is always great and the serve is as well. I love Jade the owner she is a sweetheart and makes you feel very welcome. The food is fresh and fast and the price is super reasonable. I recommend this place to anyone looking for lunch or dinner in a Chinese restaurant.
I had an amazing experience tonight here. We were greeted at the door our waiter Chow was on top of everything the whole time. He really made the experience seamless. The food was very high quality and tasted fresh. The resraurant is vwry clean, and tge decor is quaint. It is definetly a place for a special event. I will definetly be coming back soon.
I love coming here. Everyone is so sweet and they know my whole family. The food is always delicious and no one else makes Hot and Sour soup like they do. Its my favorite place when Im craving Chinese here in Bellingham. You really cant go wrong here.
Beef with mixed vegetables is a good value at this place or try the Triple delight. Consistent quality. Been going there for years for lunch. Meals come with soup and choice of rice for only 7.99 at lunch as of 2018. Friendly staff.
Best local Asian place in the northwest. Traditional large menus of American Asian food and always good service. They’ve been in the same location for ages.the young white gentleman Chris who normally is the server at dinner time is a very hard working friendly person and always is top notch!
Everything is very tasty, the lunch specials are all week including weekends. Good prices for amount of food. No extra charge for hot tea. Nice & friendly staff. They accommodate larger groups. The only item I havent liked is the curry. Others have mentioned that too. The recipe is very lacking. Unless theyve updated the recipe I wouldnt order that again. If you want a good curry dish, go to a Thai restaurant. Everything else is delish!
Great for take-out, but even better for dining-in!My family loves coming here, both for their takes on (AmericanizedChinese food as well as the lovely setting and friendly staff.Theyre especially good for a family group as they have a large room, separate from the booths/tables in the main dining area. We like to each order one "main" per person and then share everything. The staff keeps the beverages full and it really makes for a relaxing family (or companymeal (and you dont have to clean-up when youre done!)
This is a lunch regular for my wife and a friend (because of the inexpensive lunch specials), and a dinner spot for both of us occasionally. Its like many "shopping mall" Chinese places, not too spiffy, but its long-established and reliable. The menu includes all the asian favorites you might expect, and the quality is consistently good, with reasonable prices. They also seem to do a good takeout business. This is an economical spot either time.
Better than Panda Express. Ordered Chowmein but no noodles in it. Service is good.
I had a good lunch here. Food was fresh. Service was quick. My bill was very reasonable.
Really good Chinese food at excellent prices. Comfortable booths with very nice Chinese decor. (Much nicer on the inside than it looks on the outside.Service is usually good. They have lunch specials. Ive never had anything here that I didnt like -- all good.
Excellent food, kind people, and had very quick service at lunch today. Ill be back for sure!
My favorite Chinese in Bellingham!Hot and sour soup and fried rice are winners.I love the Mongolian beef and beef with broccoli.
As a previous employee I can honestly say this is the best Chinese food around!! The family works so hard to give quality service and amazing food cooked with love!! I still go there whenever Im cold and need to be warmed inside and out. I recommend the shrimp and mixed vegetables, the sautéed string beans, the Singapore noodles and the ginger chicken with string beans!! Actually, I recommend it all!!
This is one of the worst Chinese restaurants I have ordered from. 5 dishes were all the same brown gravy sauce on them. Every dish tasted the same, even the lo mien. The chicken was dry breaded with some yellow lemon tasting gooey sweet plum sauce. This place wouldnt survive a month if it were north of the border. No Chinese person would ever order from this menu. The rice was the only dish which tasted authentic and had no brown sauce on it. I paid over 65.00 and threw all the rest out. I will never order from this Xing Panda food place again.
