Jogging paths, basketball courts & a playground, plus a population of Taipei tree frogs.
great
A relatively large park but little facilities for children at a young age (2-6). It is a disappointment. It has couples basketball courts and a roller skating venue, which are suitable for the elder children.
Nice and short trail which is perfect for anyone to trek. There are many aliens species plants and flowers to be discovered along the way up. If you are looking for a quick trekking in the Taipei city, you may consider coming here.
Great park for kids. Gets packed on the weekends but not at all on weekdays morning
Not too shabby. Peaceful, beautiful park with well tarred road and sidewalk. There’s also parking available by the road. Take exit 2 from the XIANGSHAN MRT station.
A beautiful park in the heart of the city. Relax, walk and let the kids and everyone blend in with the amazing atmosphere.
Awsome place for a 2~3 hour hiking.
Not too bad actually…neighbourhoods friendly
I tried the spicy craft beer and I thought it was nice and ended up getting another one. It was only 200nt. There are two pretty chandeliers hanging which make the room appear bigger because of the high ceilings. But its definitely a small bar. A small but cute bar with some charm.
Lots of stairsGood hiking and good view of 101Just too many ppl at the rock area….
Nice and accessible hike with beautiful views. Easy to reach by MRT.
nice park.my son very enjoy in this park.he love the swing.
A must-go location if you visit Taipei for the first time. At the top of elephant hill, you will get the best view of Taipei 101.
You can take photo with 101 tower background from here (Xi nyi road..For the best view of Taipei city, you can walk about 1 km to the Elephant hill.
It has amazing hiking trails all coupled with incredible scenic views of the City (i.e. Taipei 101). If you dont hike regularly, youll sweat profusely so make sure you dress comfortably and bring a towel as well as enough water
The place is so cozy. It’s a nice place to relax or exercise. There’s a basketball court, a small field to gym, jogging track, and children’s playground. There are some benches and gazebos to rest. The place is so clean. You can also bring your pet here.To reach here, just take a metro red line to Xiangshan station.Love travelling. Feel free to find me onIG/Twitter : @fortunelaoi
Just a beautiful place to walk around! There are tables in the park if you want to have a picnic. Dont forget a water bottle if you are hiking in the summer! I forgot mine and suffering, but worth it!
One of my favorite parks in Taipei with nice playground for kids. Xiangshan Trail starts nearby. Its short by steep. All stairs and paved. Beautiful view of Taipei, especially at sunset.
I would have give full stars, if they mentioned that its stairs climbing, not a real natural path hike. Reached mid way, very nice "101 tower" picture taking spot. More above. But my leg gave up climbing stairs! So sorry, we didnt reach the top.
Walking through the steep stairs are tough. You may need to rest from time to time. Prepare your camera as there will be amazing view of the city. When you reach the top take a picture of the city with Taipe 101 as the center piece. It is worth the climb.
Clean Park right before the xiangshan trail. You get a nice view of Taipei 101 from this location. Quiet and peaceful.
One of my favourite spots in Taipei... it’s really really worth it to climb .. u won’t regret upon reaching to the top of the mountain..
Taipei from elephant hill.. its a climb.. but worth it!
Awesome trail. Lots of elevation quickly. I wish I brought some beers for the top. Theres a great lookout point.
THE PLACE to look at Taipeis skyline and enjoy the beauty of the Taipei 101. A MUST in Taipei!
A must on your to do list, but make sure you train up for it as no car can get up there if you need medical help.
Amazing view !!!!! Many steps.........hahaBest time to visit is after 5pm
Trust me... the hike is worth it. Oh yes, be sure to wear comfy clothes and bring mosquito repellent with you. Prepare to squeeze with people to capture the perfect shot up here. Lastly, it is a good place to go down on your knees for your proposal. Just make sure she is cool climbing a flight of stairs.
Well kept. Beautiful. Family friendly!
Taipei has lots of great city parks with places for kids to play, green spaces, benches and basketball courts. Nice one. This was recently renovated. It is hopping.
Fun place for both adults and kids.
The scenery and landscape are still nice but o wont go there for a walk since there are too many visitors and tourist. Last time I went to Xiangshan for climbing but it turn out to be in a line to six huge rocks.I recommend Hushan, another mountain nearby which is suitable for people who dislike crowds.
Lovely hike up. Pretty steep. Bring water and a pair of good hiking shoes. Not an easy hike as it’s pretty steep.
Best point of view of Taipei city. Its a workout going up to the top but totally worth the trip. We went up at 530pm to watch the sunset went down at 730pm. Its very beautiful at night especially the taipei101 building
A great little park with great modern playground for kids! Open, but also with trees. Recommended! But can get super hot in the summer. If taking kids, the heat can be unbearable!
I personally think this is the best place in Taipei to be recommend. It shows vividly how beautifully this city is.
Nice piece full park in this big city near Tower 101
Very beautiful Taipei view from hereFresh airNot too tired to climb up
Very nice park close to Taipei 101 - easy waking distance, enjoy the greenery and take a rest after a walk around - head up to the top of the mountain if your up to it
The nicest park close to Taipei.Popular among locals and foreigners.Unfortunately when we got there it was pissing raining and we couldnt do much.We visited the information center and we got an idea about the formation of the mountain, the fauna and the animals.Very interesting and informative.A good place for families and solo travelers
Clean and nice playground. Good for parents and kids. Located near living communities, bus station, and MRT station. Street parking available (not sure its free or not). Schools nearby. Public restrooms are available. Overall, I would recommend it.
Playground for kids is well prepared. Paths and green plants make the park worthwhile to take a walk.Everything after reconstruction months ago goes way better, nowadays children sport there and parenting parents are often seen on those sunny days.
I really love this place. The best view to see Taipei 101 with sunset view behind! Go watch the magnificent skyscraper with wonderful sky behind it! Must visit when you travelling to Taipei
This is where the trail up Elephant Mountain starts and stops. The park itself is quite small and peaceful, but I think most tourist come here to walk up the Elephant Mountain. The walk is mostly on stairs and takes about 20 minutes, but since it is usually hot in Taipei, you will break a sweat. Bring something to drink and something to wipe your neck with. Its also good to bring mosquito repellent, at least if you visit in the evening. Once at the top, the view is very nice, especially of Taipei 101. Well worth the effort.
you will experience a semi mountain area because of the many types of bird
The park is just outside the Elephant Hill (XiangshanMRT station. Its quite large and clean. Plenty of things to do since it has a playground and courts. There are a few paths that go through the park. We just walked through to get to and from the entrance to elephant mountain, but there are plenty of places to rest.
This is a great park to bring kids to and a nice alternative to Da An park. The playground area is perfect for kids 8 and under. Theres a lot of seating for parents with large bathrooms nearby (family bathrooms too). Its very close to the Xiangshan Shan MRT station so easy to get to.
No actual hiking, just lots of steps! The view is well worth it
A great newly renovated park near Taipei 101 and Elephant mountain, my son loves this place and for good reason. They have a cool big climbing wall for kids. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere new to take your kids to.
小朋友玩瘋的地方。good place to play with kids, and gain the body pain.
