Rruga Ibrahim Rugova Nr.56/H2 Tirana AL, 1019, Albania, Laç
Set 1 km from Sheshi Skënderbej square, this elegant hotel is also 1 km from 18th-century Et'hem Bey Mosque and 2 km from the National Museum of History.Refined rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screens and safes, plus minibars and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Suites add sitting areas, fireplaces and marble bathrooms with soaking tubs.Amenities include a sophisticated restaurant, an opulent lobby bar and a rooftop bar/restaurant. There's also meeting and event space. Breakfast is available for a surcharge.
We came for some drinks at the bar in the 4th floor. View was a little disappointing but the staff was nice and prices were still reasonable- the old fashioned was great. Would come again!
The hotel room was very clean and reception staff were polite and professional. I have stayed there for four days with a group of over 25 people. The food in the restuarant was with very bad taste, and the waiters there had at times aggressive behaviour, and at times impolite. And as I spoke to the others, I realized that all the other 25 people felt the same. It felt like as if they left some food that they did not know how to sell, that was left there for too long, to serve it to us. The breakfast was ok, but not on the expected level. Lunch and dinner very very bad.
It was the worst night for me here. We had a birthday to celebrate and the waiters didn’t show respect at all for us. They changed our table just because some persons asked them, and then someone else sit to our table. I don’t suggest at all.
Very helpful staff, very nice rooms. The hotel has a gym, jacuzzi pool and more, which looked great but unfortunately I didnt have a chance to use the facilities. Very conveniently located to the city centre, and the surrounding area has quite a lot of bars, restaurants and cafes, with virtually all of them having nice outdoor seating available. There are also plenty of pharmacies and small supermarkets around, including a Spar. Buses stop from the airport about 10 or 15 minutes away, and cost only around 4 euro, so its easily accessible, and the taxi fair to the airport is approximately 18 euro. Id highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tirana.
We had the immense pleasure to eat at the first floor restaurant. The truffle ravioli were heaven, one of the best that I tried, period. We also had steak tartare and rib-eye steak. Everything was perfect, and the sorbet with lime and lemon was great finish toa an incredible lunch.
Service of restaurant on the 4th floor was so bad.
Excellent service.big number of staff all very much caring.
Nightmare and Traumatized are the words that come to mind. The hotel and facilities are nice and we enjoyed them. Nevertheless, our first night of sleep was interrupted at 3:55am with two large heavily intoxicated men standing at the foot of our bed, in our room!! That’s right! The hotel gave them a key to our room. No physical altercation happened, but it could have. It was difficult to get them to leave in an undressed state. The night staff was dismissive and no help, they even called me a liar. They said come back tomorrow and talk to us. There were major issues with the staff not willing to listen and find out what we needed. In the end, we did not get out questions answered, why did this happen, how are you going to fix this, when were they given a key to our room? The CO and day shift front desk spoke with us and offered us a free lunch for our trouble or a free night. There are many things we still don’t know other than the fact we could not sleep our second night because of the trauma.
So the hotel is very nice and the spa services are amazing but our room had no windows which provides a claustrophobic feeling. There is a window in the bathroom though :(. When asked to change the room the staff said the hotel is fully booked. I dont know! maybe next time when i book as a special request I will ask to have the windows in my room.
Very nice bar & restaurant with romantic & cool mood
We live in Tirana and wanted a few days out of the summer heat so we booked a room mostly for the pool and breakfast. The room, pool/spa, and breakfast were all great. The one major disappointment was the service at the 4th floor “rooftop” bar and restaurant. When I arrived at the bar around 4pm, it was empty. Although there were at least 4 people on staff, no one seemed interested in serving me. I had to wave someone over to ask for a glass of wine (about 3oz for 700lek).I was thinking about making a dinner reservation and again had to wave someone over to ask for a menu to look over.Once I was finished with the menu I had to again wave someone over. At this point I was still interested in reserving a table but as soon as the server approached the menu was taken. I was never asked if I wanted anything else to drink or if I wanted to reserve a table for dinner. The staff missed an opportunity. Instead, I walked 2 minutes from the hotel to order a delicious meal to-go and a bottle of wine for about 1/3 of the cost of dinner at the restaurant.
Except the mosquitoes in my room - which they dealt with super fast - all is great
Music to loud on the restorant space. Food was ok, nice layout. Service was good. But very loud music during dinner. We were a group of six people and everyone was bothered by the loud music.
Excellent hotel with amazing breakfast on the fourth floor patio, accompanied by a fantastic bar and a new, state of the art spa complete with all facilities. Great rooms, warm and friendly service, and a beautiful lobby. Everything you could ask for. Second time staying and will definitely do so again!- Rikardo and family
We stayed at this Hotel in late April. This hotel is very well kept. The rooms are very clean and they offer a great breakfast, and room service. We got a chance to use the pool and spa amenities which were very nice as well. Overall we would definitely come back to this Hotel as it also was in a great location.
Was guest in restaurant The atmosphere was fantastic, the fish and wine superb and staff fast and friendly. Will definetly come back when Im in Tirana again!
Really beautiful settings, amazing breakfaat space with topnotch view. On the other hand frist floor room had windows, but 30 cms from a firewall, so absolutely no natural light or view.
Unfortunately for me it wasnt the greatest… rooms were a bit dated and things were not all working like light switches and door handdles were a bit dysfunctional hahaha… location is good, staff are ok but deffo not worth the price and I wouldnt stay again in there NO!
I only tried two different rooms and unfortunately both really smell of Damp, first room was even worse and one of the staff confirmed themselves too and changed to second room which wasnt much better to say… Paid for 4 nights and had to leave after the very first one! Avoid at all costs… the rooms are a bit outdated and furniture most likely hasnt been changed since Albania left communism!!
The spa is perfect, the service was great and the location was perfect. The only improvement would have been softer pillows
One of the best hotel choices in Tirana - great hall, lovely spa. Just a few little things and room for improvements regarding service and rooms.Enjoy your stay :)
A very good hotel, however with a very low standard which occurred during my stay. Heavy construction noises within the hotel starting at 07:40, by heavy, I mean hammer on the iron heavy. This would be unacceptable for a 4-star rated hotel. I am hereby considerably sure that other customers were affected from this occurrence as well. I hope the hotel will take preventing measures against this issue which is highly unpleasing for customers.
Very good hotel on very good location! Polite staff, everything very well organised, good breakfast. However the rooms are a bit small.
Very good hotel in the Blloku. Prices are according offer.
We were really looking forward to ending our 2 weeks Albanian riviera road trip with spa and relaxation in this hotel but we were let down beyond belief. We asked for quiet room but were given a room next to a family with kid(s). They were in an out screaming & shouting for the most of the night. Our room was also positioned quite near to the bar so when finally kids went to bed then started the music. Spa was unfortunately another letdown. Spa hours are 9-21 but when I went there at 9:15 they told me to wait 15 mins for machines to start. While I was waiting I noticed the cleaning lady was cleaning the spa facilities. After 15mins spa receptionist told me she would call the technician to come down and turn on the system. This really annoyed me because I was already told that…
Perfect location. Very good rooms. Good service. The only down side is the reception not being so friendly.
Nice venue for a dinner under friends or family. Food quality medium low( both fish or meat), except the desserts: creme caramel and crema catalana worth a try
A Perfect stay. The hotel and the room were great and the staff was super helpful. Food was good and the terrace restaurant Jana fantastic place to dine. The location is great and close to the the city.
Nice interior lobby and roomGreat spa and indoor poolHotel staff were amazing and welcomingDefinitely I will come back here 🙏
I spent 4 days in total in this hotel and I must say that the staff made me feel like im totally at home. From the valet, doormen, receptionist all the way to the maintenance ladies, the respect was beyond my expectations.I suggest this place to everyone if they need safety, comfort, clean place and quiet. They also have spa, pool, jacuzzi etc etc.Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone since this will always be my place to come back to when I’m in Tirana. Thanks to the Xheko Imperial Team, I salute you!
Amazing spot for the startNear to every thingNice friendly receptionist and staffClothes iron was for free and it was amazing 👌as serviceI enjoyed the restaurant at the dinner and as well as breakfastRecommend place for staying 👍🏻🌷
Clean + nice staff + very good facilities + breakfast is just good
This was really a first rate hotel very impressive from moment we checked in. Lobby is gorgeous. Highly recommend the deluxe room or imperial suite they are both very special. Staff was extremely polite professional and helpful. The spa has pool and jacuzzi very comfortable. Also steam room and sauna and masseuses. We did not have dinner there but did have the included breakfast and it was extensive large collection of hot and cold food. Location close to city center lots of shops restaurants.. Would highly recommend without reservation
It was a pretty nice Hotel It was right at the corner of the block very walking distance to the restaurants the hotel is quite old it has maintain good but Shower Off the Water is very slow I wouldn’t say it’s a five star I would just say like 3 to 4 stars There was one guy who helped me very nice Friendly Very easy to talk to him very genuine guy his name is EAEQ The breakfast was not quite good Need to improve
Highley recomended ! Clean rooms, friendly stuff ,great wellness and perfect food ! We will come again
The Xheko Imperial is a beautiful hotel perfectly located in the heart of the city. The entrance features a small reception area to the left and a hall with a cupola and a large bar to the right. Beautiful marble columns. The rooms (13 floors served by a single elevator with 600 kg capacityare large by modern standards and feature central light. They all have windows, but the rooms on the first floor have windows facing a wall - which negates the purpose of having a window IMHO. You had better get a room on floor 2 or higher if youd like to be able to see our your window. The shower can be switched on and off and water temperature can be selected; however you cannot adjust the quantity or pressure. Not as pleasurable as with good pressure, but better for the planet (and the hotels water bill).Breakfast is served on the 4th floor rooftop terrace. The single elevator that goes up here can lift 600 kg, which according to the panel is 8 persons (75 kg each). Too bad theres only space for 4. There would be less waiting on both ends, the lack of comfort of which is increased by the little space available outside in front of the elevator. When the door opens, people ready to storm in are standing there, visibly annoyed, and you have to squeeze past them to get out of the cabin. Once that is done, theres a room for weddings and similar events blocking 80% of the restaurant access. Squeeze past any side you can as no circulation pattern has been set. Someone had the idea of adding plants to this already cramped corridor. You have now reached the restaurant area, blocked by an island bar. Seating area behind the bar, breakfast area to the right. Although this is reasonable in size, theres a useless, long fountain set into the floor and taking up valuable space. As a consequence, the good size tables are positioned too close together, resulting in a breakfast area that is very frustrating to get around in, which youll have to if you intend to reach the meager buffet offerings. When I got here at 9:45, there were very few scrambled eggs left, no bacon, a few pieces of sausage, an empty coffee pot or 2, a few cereals and jams. The waiter needed ten minutes and an irritated look to become attentive and take our order. Coffee took 5 minutes, a bottle of water took 10 minutes. This area of the hotel felt seriously cramped. Id venture to guess they had to add tables to an area that lacked seats for the guests, given that it was absolutely full. We got the last table ! Clearly a poorly planned breakfast area. The personnel was overwhelmed yet managed to keep calm even though the hotel owner was standing in their way on the small path behind the fountain, adding to the stress of working in this mess. This area needs a revamp and an experienced maître dhôtel.I suppose this hotel is very good for local standard. The building is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are nice enough with big beds and large showers, the WiFi is responsive. The whole thing just lacks a little organization.
Decent hotel, with a lovely spa, but avoid the restaurant at all costs: surly, unprofessional staff; slow, sloppy service; and the most overcooked duck I have ever had the misfortune to endure. Four stars for the stay, zero for the food…
This was the most amazing hotel! I have travelled all over the world and never had such great service with style! The employees are so helpful! My husband Alexander net two of the most helpful professional gentlemen, Mr. Dennis and Mr. Durim. They had a level that is extremely rare and special. Also Miss Simona was so helpful and professional. The spa downstairs is a gem. It is so wonderful to relax in a whirlpool, sauna or steam room. Or if you want a lovely massage!I was so amazed and we will be back soon! The breakfast too is over the top! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this beautiful hotel with a huge heart!
AMAZING Hotel! From the check in we were feeling special and everybody is very friendly with a smile! When you enter the lobby you get this "WOW" effect! We felt really privileged to be able to stay here! The room looks amazing and the bathroom is very chic.....just as the rest of the hotel. The best part of the hotel is the SPA area. It is absolutely beautiful and we spent 2 days in there, using the pool, steam bath, sauna, whirlpool and the gym! Its very hard to find a SPA like this in albania. Breakfast has a good choice and takes place at the rooftop restaurant. Last but not least is the location. You are in the heart of the Blok area where alle the bars and restaurants are so its pole position! I can only reccommend this hotel to everybody who can afford it, since its on the more expensive side.......but it is worth every penny!! They even have parking service where a gentleman is parking the car for you!
Xheko Imperial for certain is a high-end restaurant where the client gets far more than expects. The layout of the place is breathtaking ( including the wonderful terraceand every corner is designed with great taste. The staff is committed to provide the client with nothing but an unforgettable experience, the chef has a keen eye for details and the music is beyond words. You can never get enough of this place.
Avoid avoid; such a shame.I have travelled the world and never experienced such a hotel. If you want bad customer care and don’t want to sleep as music thumps in your room till 12am. Then this hotel is for you.Three issuesAt checkin great room upgrade. Then they said the Made a mistake and downgraded me. WTH.The front desk manager “Ariola” managed this badly. I was so embarrassed but I was so tired after a long fly in I just wanted to get too any room. FIRST Time ever I experienced after staying in over 100s of hotels.Thumping bass music in you room.Biggest issue they had an party event at the hotel and you can hear the music thumping in your room.I complained multiple time, “yes we will turn down”, “one more hour at 22:30”, “front desk manager to busy to come to your room, he is in the kitchen help serving food”. WTHThis went on till 12am!!! When me and another guest went down and they changed our rooms. Massive inconvenience grabbing your belongings walking across the hotel to another room. Considering I had to be up at 7am.!! I have videos !!Before I left and made booking I callled hotel to get me cost and arrange for a private taxi from Tirana to Skopje - Nadaja advised this would be €160 when I called. Got to the hotel to book and said it is €260. This wasn’t acceptable. Enea was supportive and found a local taxi driver at €150.OverallSUCH A SHAME. It could be a nice hotel.!! More insult !! For all the inconvenience they offered me 10 Euros at check out. Which I rejected. As I explained in all my travels I have never had such a bad experience and will make fellow travellers aware. After my breakfast they offered me a full refund. I again rejected. They have a trip advisor Winner picture at reception desk. Not sure if they have won anything or if it’s fake.I asked to speak to Gino the general manager; apparently he wasn’t available. I felt the staff didn’t want me to speak to him.Was looking forward to hotel which has the word “Imperial”. Avoid this hotel; they asked me to come back on my next trip. Never !!!Check my profile and you can see I am a well experienced traveller and I have never written such a bad review.!! You have been warned fellow travellers !!
I have been in the hotel many times in the past. It was the first time I had a room at the front side of the hotel. The room was okay but smaller than the other rooms on the inner side. A minor issue in the room was the hot water. The water was coming from an independent electric boiler in the bathroom, not bigger than 40 liters. That means that after a while the water was becoming colder. The decoration of the hotel is very baroque for my style, but it is very spacious so I didnt bothered too much.Personnel is very kind always with a smile. The prices are a bit expensive considering the fact that the hotel is in Albania.Finishing my feedback for the hotel I have to mention that the breakfast is something that no one should miss. It has an incredibly big variety of food and during the spring and summer, it is served in the roof garden.
Great rooms, excellent service, fantastic roof-top restaurant...
Dont know about the hotel rooms. The restaurant on the roof especially with good weather is unique.Food is great and service amazing
What a beautiful hotel!! Stunning decor! Our bathroom was so so beautiful! The restaurant on the rooftop terrace was also great, with beautiful views over Tirana. The music was a little loud at first, but later got better. The food was really delicious, had such a lovely evening there. If youre in Tirana, you have to stay at this hotel!!
Came for one night but i am still here after 3 nights,so i must say its going great till now. There is some minor things that need fixing but its hard to find a hotel in the world without a minor problem. So keep up the good work and i hope we make the hotel a 5 star soon.
Good hotel downtown Tirana. I liked the room size and nice furniture. Bed was great. Breakfast was also very good. People were really helpful and friendly. A bit pricey!
Very beautiful hotel in the center of the city. You can park your car and reach every place by walking. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is located at the 4th floor in the terrace and is very beautiful. It offers excellent breakfast. The restaurant food is delicious. Recommended this place
This place keeps getting better every summer we return to it.Six of us went for diner a few days ago and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the wine list rich with plenty reasonably-priced options.I had the grilled octopus (which I highly recommendaccompanied with a glass or two of Savignon Blanc. We also tried the sushi (new introduction to the menuand were quite impressed.Yet another great dining experience overall, with quality food and excellend service.
Excellent new hotel in one of the best area of Tirana (Blloku). Big new building, very airy and welcoming lobby, comfortable and very well furnished rooms, trendy bathroom (maybe some more supporting surfaces would help). Clean. Excellent breakfast on open terrace. Trendy neighborhood, within minutes in the liveliest area in the city. All staff very well trained, professional and courteous. Parking at reasonable cost in underground garage nearby. Will stay here again.
