Service was great and so was the Fried Cherry Pie!

Overall we had a great time and the food was good. Only complaint is the tables were still dirty and the floor under the tables as well. Even though, we were told they had cleaned them already. I definitely recommend Wrights Ranch House to anyonethat hasnt been and wants a good steak or some amazing ribs!

The beans was the only thing what was even warm, BBQ meat was cold 🥶 potatoes was cold..wasnt a good experience this time

Honestly this was one of the worse places Ive ever eaten . The bar b que was fatty and the beans tasted like they were poured straight from a can. Our waitress was very good though

The food is always fresh. They have the best ribs n catfish.the service is great to. Worth the money.

The mac and cheese and the corn bread were fire! I had an easy dish here but the sides made up for it. I recommend the potatoe salad and the coleslaw.

DO NOT miss Margaret’s baked beans! Pork dinner was delicious and my friend had the Crawfish salad. They don’t spare any ranch dressing with the salad.

From the couple on their 10th anniversary just passing through. We googled restaurants and this was the closest one. Pulling up you were greeted by a old wooden building. Just know, curb appeal of a restaurant means something. In my experience the less curb appeal the better the food. I looked at my husband in our car and said “babe this looks like our kind of place”. The hours were written on poster board with sharpie on the front door and that’s when I knew this food was about to be off the chain. As we enter the lobby old wood lined walls and concrete floors with ceiling fans overhead the aroma of grandmas cooking filled the air. We sat at the old booth on the end. “Side note: if you are on the plus side of life the booths are very spacious and comfortable”. Big people eat too right?? I hate restaurants that only make booths for skinny humans. I chose the Cajun ribeye and mash potatoes with gravy and sweet tea. Sweet tea “granny definitely made that”. Crawfish etouffee on the grilled to perfection medium rare ribeye was the best food I’ve ever ate in my life! I normally don’t get desert but what the hell I would eat anything these people made. The red velvet cake is like no other I’ve ever had. It’s like clouds of cake with cream cheese that melts. The service was also top notch!

1st time eating here. The food was fantastic, and so was our server. We will definitely be back. I cant recommend this restaurant enough. Excellent bbq and the spicy bbq sauce was delicious. 👍👍

Whether in White Hall or Sheridan, Wrights Ranch House is the epitome of a fine, local steakhouse.Their menu has so much more than good steaks, though. ANYONE can enjoy a trip to Wrights. Even a vegetarian can enjoy a superb vegetable plate.The food is better than the chains and the prices are too! Its worth a trip to visit Wrights. If you live in Grant or Jefferson counties you will want to go more often.

1 of 2 places that always has good customer service and good food in my area. I have had several items on the menu and have liked them all. We have dined in many times and order take out often. We have tried most items on the menu and have had no issues at all. Friendly staff!!

Amazing. The family came here after going to coltons and then to chilis. We were told that it would be hours to wait for tqbles at both places.. We had just come off a two day fasting and needed a meal to fill us without carbs.I explained this to our waitress and she helped us pick out some delicious sides. My son was rambunctious, but instead of asking him to be quiet, the staff were playful and engaging with him.We ended up getting the ribeyes and despite my awkward request of somewhere between medium and medium rare they accommodated me and went as far as to double check on us. The steak itself was amazing. Juicy, well seasoned, and it gave me a feel of being at my mums for July 4th.I cannot say enough good things about this rustic, downhome establishment. By the time we had ordered, eaten, and were getting ready to leave, the reservation I had at another steakhouse finally came though.Also, they have homemade pork rinds.Tldr; This is our new steak place and it should be your steak place too.

The customer service was outstanding, but the food wasnt so great. Everything was cold, and even after sending our steaks back, they were still cooked wrong. To be fair, it sounded like they had a new cook in the kitchen. Our waitress still maintained a great attitude and was very apologetic. She truly tried to salvage our experience.

Oh man, chicken spaghetti special with fried okra was soon good.I wasnt going to eat it all, but I just couldnt help myself. Great and personal service too.

Went here hoping for a good homemade style meal after reading other reviews. Being from Texas and a steak connoisseur the steak was sub-par. Seems that they ran out of seasoning one side was seasoned decent and when cutting into the other side it was just bland as can be. My gf ordered the chicken breast cut it up and took one bite and that was it. You could tell from the exterior of the chicken breast that it was dry and hard, as if it was heated up in the microwave too long. We both had Mac and cheese that was ok. The mashed potatoes and Dr Pepper was probably the best things. On a positive note I can say their service is good. Got seated and drink order taken and brought right out and then our food order was taken and in a good timely manner food was out. Waitress made stops checking in frequent.

Excellent food only outdone by the service! Fried green tomato appetizer was outstanding. Meats and sides were delicious. Traveling through and read reviews when we decided to eat here. So glad we did!

Every time I make it thru this way I gotta stop and eat the food is excellent the staff is always kind and polite Love the atmosphere.

They have EXCELLENT SERVICE AND OUTSTANDING FOOD. I will definitely eat there more and will tell all my friends that haven’t been there that Wrights Ranch House is at the top of the list of all restaurants in Whitehall and Pine Bluff.

BEWARE, GO TO THE SHERIDAN LOCATION INSTEAD!!! I really want to give a better rating for the fact the food was good. However, the service TERRIFIES me. Our waitress, as she is delivering condiments, said that she "had been around the flu all week" and that is why she "wasnt feeling good today." This is clearly a major health concern, eat your heart out health department.

Its a quaint and family friendly location. The service is friendly and the food is as good as any other local place.Food is brought to the table as it is prepped from the kitchen, so your entire table probably wont get their food together at once, depending on what they ordered.There is a second room in the back which is great for larger groups and tables for more than 4 or 5 people.Ive had the BBQ a few times, as sandwich, plate, nachos, and over a bed of fries. Every time, its the same, so their cooking is consistent. But, Im spoiled on Memphis BBQ, and this doesnt even come close. Its good Q though.

Good food nice people the only bad thing I can say is they put a tad to much bbq sauce on their pulled pork sandwich for me but its a good sandwich and they have all the fixins. Favorite dessert is fried chocolate pie al a mode...mmmmmmmm good!!!!!

We were a large group in the back room. There were around 30 of us. One waitress....didnt get her name....she was awesome. She took everyones orders and got everything right and kept our drinks taken care of. Food was delicious and place was clean and inviting. Was glad we held our gathering there.

4-10-19. Family lunch was worst ever at Wrights. Five of us ordered catfish and five sent orders back for bad, limp fish. Two of had to remind them to bring our food. Two of the replaced fish plates was eventually replaced with something else. And wife decided not to eat at all

Hamburger steak and gravy, fried okra and baked beans were wonderful. Very polite waitresss. Although 1 baked bean fell off my fork and left a trail of bean juice all the way down the front of my blouse. At it wasnt BBQ on my chest this time. LOL! GOOD EATIN!

I was VERY disappointed in my meal tonight. This is supposed to be a $10 salad ... There is nothing extra on it ..I did not realize it was like this until I got home . We called and tried to speak to a manager and they were not friendly and just said this is how we do our salads .I tried to add a picture, but I am not able to .

Service poor. Catfish so disappointing. Tasted and looked like it was raised in dirty water. Others in our group of 6 were served cold baked potatoes that would not even melt softened butter. We tried to find a server to get help with problem, but all avoided our attempts to waive someone down. Never saw our server again. My 93 year old aunt was treating us to dinner and mentioned potatoes to young man in charge at register. He credited bill for potatoes but brushed her off. We have been frequent customers for years, never having had this type of experience. Got the feeling usual management had passed job to someone incapable of maintaining previous standards. So disappointing.

The owner is a very hateful lady. They have a cockroach problem here.. I was worried about one crawling into my food when I was sitting at the booth eating my pork sandwich. I told one young lady server about it and she just grabbed a napkin and killed it and moved me to another seat. This shouldn’t be a problem at all. Very unsanitary.

Horrible experience. The entire staff are young and not friendly. My pork was terrible! Served me coffee that looked like hot tea. The waitress was hateful to me when I requested a new pot of coffee. They are too busy talking with each other.

Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Sometimes the food that is supposed to be hot is cold, sometimes the food that is supposed to be cold is too warm. Salad bar is terrible and the White Hall location adds the extra touch of strong sewage smell with your salad bar trip (it is close to the restroom).

One of the best waitress in the world served my friend and I. I wish I Knew Her name so I could share it right here in this review. This waitress was very attentive and very helpful and I will be returning just because of her excellent service so I definitely would give Ranch House BBQ five stars.

Delish!! Good lunch menu prices

Great service. Nice and attentive. Ribs were overcooked, but not drowning in sauce. Their Mild and Hot BBQ sauce tasted like it was just ketchup with spices added, their extra hot sauce was flavorless and just an ancho chili sauce. Baked beans are from a can. The cornbread salad was interesting creation and tasty. would be lower rating but excellent service and good atmosphere makes up for below average food.

I have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. They have great food & great service. You really cant beat this place. Try the cow(beefpie or the hog(porkpie - its delicious!
