Love this place! Id say its the best place in town for lamb shawarma. Its owned by a lovely couple and theyre fantastic. Absolutely go everytime you want lamb shawarma! Suprisingly great fries too.

I walked in and immediately felt welcomed, the food was amazing (the chicken shawarma was so goodand they gave us free chips and drinks on the side too! The name says it all! This place is fantastic. The food is so flavourful and the staff is so warm and welcoming. Im in London now and then for work and this is a spot I will look forward to visiting again and again.

We ordered about 100 shawarmas from WOW and it was so easy to coordinate with them! They had our order packaged perfectly and everything tasted delicious! Everyone in our group was raving about how much they LOVED the shawarma. The chicken and falafel were absolutely amazing!Thank you so much WOW Shawarma! You will not find a better tasting shawarma in southwestern Ontario. The quality and freshness of all ingredients, from the chicken to veggies to the pita and sauces, are far superior to the dozens of other middle eastern restaurants Ive tried over the years. To seal the deal, the price is $8-$9 per shawarma and the owners typically offers you a free drink and/or side of rice or pita chips with dip. The owners go over and above to offer a quality product and connect with their customers through conversation. Always friendly and welcoming when you step inside. Just an outstanding restaurant with the best shawarma ever!!!

Awesome shawarma and fattoush salad. Truly an excellent bite on the go although you might want to stay and have some tasty rice. Kind and generous owners, free waters during the summer, generous portions. Just get everything on whatever you order and enjoy! 🐔 > 🐐

Every experience is a better one the food here is up there. Went for 1 chicken shawarma 1 beef shawarma wrap, ate it as soon as i got in the car and went back in for another as it was awesome. Another staple is they have lamb shawarma not alot of place serve lamb as its not as cheap. 5+stars. Afghan cooked

I ordered 7 chicken Shawarmas and 6 chicken and Rice and 2 Large fries.Here is my experience.I called and placed my order and picked up one hour later.The husband / wife owner were kind and polite. 5 stars here.As the order was relatively large the owner offered us 7 free pops and a large salad. Much appreciated and a nice gesture, another 5 stars.The Shawarma was large with generous filling of grilled chicken. Man, it was finger licking good. Just one shawarma was enough to fill in my tummy but wasnt enough to satisfy the desire. The rice was yummylicious and was freshly made. the sauces were a perfect blend of spice and flavour. The food was a big hit with our family. Another 5 stars.To all those reading this review.....pay a visit once, you will be a regular there. :)

Best shawarma Ive ever had. No other place compares.

When Rogers and interac went down they were still taking orders on good faith that you would come back and pay your tab once things were up and running again. Fantastic owners and great fresh food. Cant reccomend this place enough!

Got the chicken shawarma for lunch and absolutely loved it. They do not skimp on the filling & sauces, and it tasted absolutely delicious. Ive tried a couple different shawarma places downtown, but Wow is definitely my fave!

Wow is our family’s favourite shawarma restaurant! The owners are so warm and friendly and the food is fantastic. We usually get the shawarma plates, but everything we’ve tried has been delicious.

Just picked up dinner from here and the food was delicious. The owners are super friendly, clearly care about their customers, and run their business extremely well. Will definitely be coming here more regularly.

Absolutely horrible. Ordered on the phone for my family and I, and was horribly disappointed. Not only was the owner not very good at understanding english, he messed up our order about three times as we communicated to him over the phone. Then, after driving 50 minutes there to pick up the food then 50 minutes back home to enjoy our food, we realize that they did not remember to give us not one but two items that we ordered, after asking him very clearly if they had given us everything again. Although he did not charge us for those two items that were forgotten, if had simply listened to what we were ordering on the phone instead of cutting us off and hurrying us off the phone, we would have received our full order. And no, the food did not taste good in case youre wondering. There are several Shawarma joints in London that have a much cheaper, and tastier Shawarma. Would not recommend.

WOW Shawarma offers the best platters and wraps in the city. Not only this, but the restaurant has very generous and kind owners. Food is prepared freshly with very large portion sizes.

Great food and the friendliest service around. Easy to want to support a place that treats their customers so well and puts care into all they do. Will definitely be going back often!

Great place ! First time I came out of town for a day visit and the staff were very welcoming and food was amazing (and a lot). Came back again after 7 months and staff were just as great and amazing ! Their shawarma is soo good ! def worth it

This is my go to lunch spot when I’m at our downtown office. You know the quality is good because during pre pandemic times, there was barely any standing room at lunch time. On top of that, people would see the line and still wait for their meal.What I ordered:1x 🐓Chicken on RiceWhat I liked:Quality ✅ great chicken shawarma and not too dry. Rice is flavourful. I’ve had falafel here too and it was 👌🏾Service ✅ family style service at its best. Even when the line up is out the door, service isn’t compromised.Value ✅ prices are fair for the quality and portion size.Hot Sauce ✅ pretty sure it’s homemade and not siracha like many other places.This is one of the best shawarma in the downtown core, so make sure you support this restaurant!! 💯

Five stars! I lived nearby Wow Shawarma for many years and they are my go-to for a healthy and delicious lunch. My favorite is the lamb shawarma, such good flavor in the lamb! Family owned business and the owners are soooo friendly and kind!

Having grown up here I can say this is definitively the best shawarma in London, maybe the best food in London. 5/5 WOW!

This is by far the best food in London. Wholesome food and incredibly friendly people. The food is very fresh, while the shawarma is richer than the standard dry Lebanese style. It has the most amazing homemade garlic toum. Every time I go there my friends and I are given extra fries or pita chips or drinks. If you go there, you’ll probably see me enjoying my shawarma. 5/5

Had a chicken shawarma to go on a Saturday before 6 pm. The chicken was cold, not warm. The whole wrap was not warm. They put it under the sandwich grill but it didnt warm up at all. I ate it right away so it didnt have much time to cool. Flavour and ingredients were fine but the temp really made for a disappointing wrap.

First time visiting wow shawarma today. I pulled up a few minutes early, and the owner noticed me outside. He welcomed us early into his restaurant with a smile! Ordered the chicken shawarma combo. It was delicious. The shawarma was loaded with all the fixings, and lightly grilled the fries were nicely crisp with a light seasoning. I would reccomend you to drop in and have some great eats! 5 stars. Definitely will return.

We tried this place today. The food was good quality and fresh. What was even more amazing was the customer service. They owner is super sweet and generous. We wanted to make sure the meat was Halal and he went to great lengths to answer us. There is a halal certificate clearly visible as you enter. The certificate is from MB foods. The owner offered us free drinks and gave free rice to the children. Even when we were leaving he offered us more drinks incase the kids were thirsty. Super sweet of him. We ordered falafel wraps and chicken shawarma combos. Highly recommend the falafel wraps. The portions are quite big so come with an appetite. It’s downtown so parking could usually be an issue. We went on a Saturday so loads of free parking was available.

This place is total garbage!!! Cold shawarmas, meat tastes gross and unchewable. Salad was old and withered, Dressings on top were smothered all over the container, super strong onion smell.

Incredibly nice and generous owners. I was back in the office after working from home over a year and a half. I missed this place! Their food portions are generous and delicious. I was really looking forward to having my lunch from here. Well it happened. My access card didnt work. As I apologized over and over again I started to leave. They insisted on still feeding me. They took my name and number and said when I had the money I could come back and pay them. The next day I paid and just a little extra to show my gratitude. But they returned their gratitude and fed me more of their delicious food. Beyond Generous. They are there for the community. They show their love to their customers and the community through their food. Thank you for being you!

If you havent tried Wow Shawarma by now you are truly missing out. The nicest people in the world who are always generous and friendly. The food is so fresh and delicious it is our go to Shawarma spot and we drive from East London regularly to grab a bite here. A true gem will be supporting these guys as long as I am able to. I don’t work downtown often but when I do I always make sure to stop by here. The owner and his wife are so nice and polite! The food is fantastic I am never disappointed. It’s been over 6 months with the pandemic since I was last able to visit and the owner remembered my order! He genuinely cares for his customers.

Cant recommend enough, especially right now! <3Ive eaten here quite a few times since moving to London about 7 years ago (unfortunately less so in the last 3yrs due to not being in the area as much).The food is always great, the prices are more than fair and the family that owns Wow Shawarma is very warm, friendly and generous-- Ive always had an excellent experience, and Ive brought my family here once or twice as well when they visited from out of town in past years, and theyve agreed with my sentiments = ).
