World of Beer in Cheektowaga

Id been to other locations before the pandemic, and knew they had a fantastic selection of adult beverages. I had never considered that they serve food before yesterday. Hands down the best truffle fries Ive had the pleasure to imbibe.

Ive gone here a couple times before today and was really impressed, but I ordered take out this afternoon and the food we received was a major disappointment. My wifes cobb salad was a disgusting mess, a few wilted leaves of spinach covered in a pile of cheese and random ingredients not listed in the description, like peppers. Averaging out my previous 5 star experiences with todays 1 for this review.

Been going here for close to 6ish years. Been to one other world of beer before but this one has just a nice atmosphere and feels like a unique place to grab a brew. Staff is always friendly and nice. When its busy it does take some time to get your food or beer but considering how many people this place can hold, its understandable but on a nice slow day or half capacity, fast and good service for sure. Food is pretty good for the price, something for everyone but lets be honest, its the beer your here for. Always changing, and always a massive selection. Plenty of on tap choices, probably like 45 or so on tap, rotating with the seasons, and bottle and can almost seems endless. Prices range depending on what you want, so you can go cheap or you can get the high end, just ask what it cost and they can tell you. Indoor and outdoor patio is always a nice place to relax and enjoy the nice weather. They host events(pre covid and hopefully post), have darts, juke box and a retro n64 which is awesome. Plenty of liquor and mixed drinks if you want that route. Definitely stop by there if you want a great brew or something new

Gave it a three because the pretzel and the beer were solid. We got there around 8 PM and our server made sure to tell us three times that the kitchen closes at 8:30. We put our order in as soon as he was available to take it. The appetizer, a German pretzel, came out with our meal (disappointing). I got the Cali Bowl with blackened chicken. The chicken was not blackened , there was no sauce, no sesame seeds or scallions. The FOUR most flavor filled parts of the dish were missing. My boyfriends broccoli was literally completely RAW. I felt like they didn’t want us there and didn’t want to make our food... if world of beer needs to be closed by nine and they can’t make food after 8pm... then just tell people to stop ordering food at 8 PM. Because serving uncooked and miss made food isn’t great for business. I know that we are in the middle of a pandemic, so I am understanding of different things however this just seems like it could’ve been avoided.

Restaurant was a good place to stop for some lunch in the Galleria. Went with some coworkers and ordered two flights of beer to try them out. There were good and diverse. Inside looked decorative and nice theme. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with tater tots. Food was tasty and came out pretty fast. Overall it was a good restaurant to try out in the galleria.

I have not had the food but the pretzels are A1 . They should offer cheese instead of mustard as an option. I had to buy the cheese at 2.50 and ask them to replace the mustard with cheese but i guess thats a no because i only recieved the cheese i payed for and no mustard at all. Its a huge pretzel why only one option..Either way i always order my pretzel from here but now im left with half a pretzel and nothing to dip.. yall come on nw lol

I love coming here. Always had great experience with the staff and the beer selection is awesome... I always get the nachos and they never disappoint. The tacos are amazing too.

Cali bowl was delicious!!! I will be back again soon for it. The Bufallo chicken sandwich was good too. Service was great too.

Friendly staff. Average pricing. Huge selection of draft and bottled beer. Menu is somewhat limited but something for all. The pretzel you see was close to 18 inches at its widest point. Sad they charge $2.50 extra for about 2.5 oz of beer cheese. Stone ground mustard is paired with it at no additional charge.

Food was ok even though was cooked as ordered for my fiance or myself, beer was warm and flat, daiquiris werent made according to menu, appetizer came out 2 min before the rest of the food. had to ask multiple times for S&P and condiments, over all food was pretty good though

For starters, I had high hopes for this place. Reviews all seemed good, menu was as well. The pretzel and service were the only good thing we had there. Ordered a black and blue flat bread, it was mush and had just about no steak on it. Also ordered a French dip, again the bread the mush and made the whole thing bad. The Mac and cheese tasted like velveeta plastic cheese and just wasnt good at all. Our server, Casey I believe (along with the pretzelwere the only thing that saved our trip there from being a total waste. Casey was so attentive and nice. All in all, I would only go back for a pretzel, not any other food.

Beer was great! Service was not good at all, food was not great. Definitely needs some improvement. Server remembered our order from memory but only came to our table to take the drink order, food order, and bill. My drinks were empty the entire meal. Would not ever coming back for food, but would return only if in area for beer!

We love going here on Monday nights for the $6 huge burger and fries that are too hot to eat when they come out. Don’t be afraid to try out the bottles and cans which can be a better value. And be sure to join the loyalty club for bonus deals.

Great time at W.O.B! Happy hour specials Mon thru Thurs! I had a couple of $3 draft 🍺s and two $2.50 🌮s "beef and blackened chicken". Both very tasty. Definitely worth a visit 😎

Very cool establishment. Bartender was pretty awesome. They have a huge selection of beer and decent food menu. They have a small sitting area with a couch and chairs. A small game section with darts and cornhole. Totally worth a stop in specially if youre waiting for the wife to finish her 5 hour shopping spree!

Was in buffalo for a Bills game ! And went here for the day after lunch .Service was great ! Food also really good !Im Canadian. And wanted to say thank you buffalo for a great weekend !!!For a guy that is totally not into football or sports I had a great time cheers! See u soon

Beer nerd heaven! Hated leaving the place, and wish we had one of these in Maine!

I always love their burgers! The beer is also good, but I dont drink that often. The only slight complaint I have is that it sometimes takes a while for servers to notice you because you seat yourself, but I dont mind much because theyre usually very nice anyway!

A few back when micro breweries were just reaching the consciousness of the American beer drinker, I would have raved over this place. But not that you can find a microbrewery on every street corner the truly great ones have to up their game. And while WOB had an incredible variety of beers on tap or in the refrigerator I didnt get that "special vibe" when I walked in. The ambiance was only ok. And perhaps being stuck in a mall is always going to take away from a true earthy bar feeling. Our waitress Sydney was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Taco Tuesday was a delight. Nothing else on the menu caught my eye as I thought the prices were a bit too high. Anyways I was glad we went there and despite my less than stellar review I liked the joint and had a great time for the three hours I was there. Id go back.

I figured this would be a good place for a beer...and it was! They have more beer than you could ever want. The bar is huge but the bar tender did a decent job of getting to everyone.We shared one of the pretzles and paid extra for their beer queso. The pretzel was HUGE, and the cheese was an amazing compliment.You can also build your own 6 pack to-go!!!! You pay per can, and they give you a discount on it. Its not the cheapest way to get a 6 pack, but its fun to pick them out and try!

Loved this place. So many great beers to choose from. You must try the German pretzel when you visit. Its delicious and so big! It can feed 2 for sure.

We have been to this location SEVERAL times and Ive gotta say, today straight up disgusted me. Theyve switched from nice menus to paper. The bar staff was less than interested in being there. So much so that the girl who served us just kinda threw our receipts at us.Also another bartender decided to make it very openly apparent how much we were no longer welcome. My husband had been attempting to get the attention of ANY bartender to try a couple samples. The bartender walked over and said in a very annoyed voice "are you guys done? I thought this meant you were all set" pointing at the receipts. Made it a point to say something to her coworker as we were walking out the door.So thats but no thanks, wont be coming back again.

Used to really like this place but it’s gone down hill. Came at noon for lunch on a Friday and the tables were dirty but we sat down anyway. Waiter never cleaned the table. Let that go. Then they brought us disgusting iced tea. Let that go. Ordered a Cali bowl with blackened steak and they used sausage. It was very obvious tasting. My husband got a pretty good burger tho which is the reason for the 1 Star because then we waited a solid 20 mins for someone to come with the bill. Eventually had to go find someone. There was a total of 7 customers including us at the time. Brown listed.

Had a really awesome time with my friends there. They have really great combination of food and beer and excellent service.

The selection of beer here is worth a visit all in itself. The staff was super friendly, the appetizer and drinks came quickly, along with the entree. The food was fresh and cooked very well, and the beer accented the flavor of the food perfectly. Will definitely be back and bring friends with me next time!!

Stopped by here on a trip to Niagara Falls over the summer.Food was pretty good, atmosphere was nice, and they had an impressive beer selection.Service was a little slow even though it was not busy at all.Overall, I would stop by here again if I was in the area again. I would also recommend to anyone who is in the area.

Visiting home from San Antonio,Texas & our son brought us here for lunch. We had a great time! The food was very good, the service was friendly and quick, the beer selection is phenomenal. Great day all around, thanks WOB!

After first trying out the chain in West Palm Beach FL, I was glad to see the local franchise open. Great beer selection of course (I usually get a flight to try out several). The food is usually decent , though not consistently good (Ive had a few misses-- hence 4 stairs. Well, for that, and its a chain in the mall. Service was great each visit, friendly and pretty fast. Granted, we havent gone during busy hours. Our preschooler has come with each time. He enjoys the mac n cheese (one of his 2 main food groups), and shooting the sh*t with the waitstaff. If you are ever stuck going to the Galleria, its worth a stop. They also do brunch.

Love the food here and the beer selection. I cant honestly say I have ever had any bad food here and Ive tried quite a few things on the menu. The beer selection is one of the best around with very few other places that even come close. The staff is always friendly and the manager "Chris" seems to keep things running smoothly and well organized. We stopped in again for lunch today and our food was served quickly and cooked right. Very happy we dropped by.

The beer was good. But most of the beer tap list is from NY and the USA. Last time there was more of a variety, however I didnt check the bottles selection...The food was only alright... Ill be sticking to the liquid diet...

Had a great time here the other night, there was some trivia going on. We tried to play along ourselves for fun but it was too difficult for us! It was also hard to understand the trivia host. They were more than loud enough but hard to understand. Anyway, we came for the great selection of beers. And they did not disappoint! Prices seemed high for anything except beers. But beer prices were average or below average! A great deal! Each day they also have a select beer that is $3 so theres that too. We ordered a giant pretzel to share, it came on a giant hanging rack and was very good. I didnt like that there was an extra charge for cheese, that seemed stingy. But both were delicious. Will definitely come back here. If alone just for the pretzel. Could give Auntie Anne a run for her money!

The beer list is of course large, though you need to look at the bottles to get a decent selection of IPAs - draft selection was weak for that variety. Food is decent. Service is extremely mediocre - I probably would have had two more drinks if I had been able to actually order them promptly. I dont know what they have the servers doing in back, but they are simply not on the floor enough for a restaurant that is focused on drink service. This is the second time that I have experienced slow service and a server who utterly failed to keep a drink in front of me. I wanted to try another beer but just asked for the check and left instead after waiting too long.To be clear, the server was just fine when she showed up, so I really have to wonder what system and training issues exist that prevent better service.Or all the servers sit around in the back gabbing, but I find that relatively unlikely in such a tip based environment.

First experience was great, Jeff is a wonderful bartender. Been here three times since then and every time is worse than the last. Service is absolutely TERRIBLE. Waited and hour for some French fries mind you this was after 10pm and it was not busy. Our friends food was brought out 20 minutes after we FINISHED our food (yes we ordered at the same timeAlso waiting at least an hour in between each drink, who can catch a buz like that??Cool place but not worth the long wait.

Very great place for beer selection, great atmosphere, well worth it. A little on the pricey side, if youre trying to impress a female with beer knowledge and craft eats definitely take her here. Good times for the Bros also. Friendly staff all around.

Considering they seem to have every beer ever invented at their fingertips, its saying a lot that I think their service is really what makes them stand out. Super courteous and inviting, really make you feel welcome. The food is stellar too. Went with my brother a couple of weeks ago and had an awesome time. Will be my new go-to place when Im in the area for sure.

The food here is fantastic. My girlfriend and I visited here, had never been to World of Beer before, and loved everything. Service was top notch, waitress, Brianna, was very attentive, knowledgable about the different kinds of beer and interactive and the food was just great. Definitely would recommend

Nick, Cory and chis were great. They took care of us as if we were family. Now this is how to take care of people. They were genuine and they know what’s it’s like to be one of us. Trust me see them and at 3 they have happy hour so. They have great offers. Cory has such great knowledge of different beers trust me see Cory.

OMG the amount of beers this place has is amazing. You could honestly keep going and never have the same beer. The food is great too, kids menu is a little light though. Try the large pretzel, you wont be disappointed. Also sign up for the rewards card, its such a deal.

The catalog of beer and cider here is incredible. In fact - it can be a bit daunting but fun. The service we received was excellent. The food on the other hand - well, don’t visit if you’re looking for something other than highly processed bar fare.

Beer is out of this... No wait, from all ends of the world. Food is good and priced well. Beer selection probably the best around. Plus they have video game you can play in the bar. Always ask for the tablet menu as it will have all the beers in the building whereas the written menu is typically just their draft beers.

This place absolutely rocked for me. Lots of cool people to talk to. Perfect staff. Their knowledge of the beers was excellent. And the food was great. This concept is very well put together.

We had a great experience at the world of beer! We were greeted by a friendly staff and were seated right away. Our server, Regina, was on the ball, keeping the drinks flowing, and was even able to help my indecisive friend choose his beers. The beer selection is fantastic, and i was delighted to find an array of local breweries on tap. The food arrived promptly and was delicious.1. Service - check2. Food - check3. Drinks - checkAnd...4. Atmosphere -The atmosphere impressed me the most. I am biased because they had a Nintendo 64 (this was a hit with the crowdin a comfy seating area with two of my favorite games, plus they had board games which my wife and I are planning on returning and playing. Top it off with being conveniently located at the Galleria mall, and you have a prize winner.We will surely be returning for more good drinks and good times at the world of beer!

Im allergic to most of the food, but what I can eat has been fantastic. Their beer selection is huge (when you need a tablet instead of just a menu to display selections, you have a hell of a lotand they are great about create your own flights with what is on draft.

Pretty solid choices on tap. Had a couple beer and some happy hour appetizers that were delicious. Cant wait to go again.
