World of Beer in Lubbock

The food was okay, but my server Jordan was the sweetest person I have ever met! She made the experience great! Apparently it was her first day of serving, I will be coming back soon!

parking kinda sux, BUT beers and vibe are worth it! staff is knowledgeable about the various brews and make great recommendations based off your tastes

Such a great place to hang out with your friends and eat and drink! Highly recommend the chicken street tacos. The chicken are big and the ingredients that built the taco are top tier rating of 8.9

Service ok, great atmosphere but food was definitely not worth the price. Would probably only do drinks there!

I order a pretzel everytime I go here or take one to go. I Have gotten 2 different cups for the cheese and its never enough. I pay the $3 extra for 2 oz of cheese for your huge pretzel and didnt get the mustard either. I have emailed twice and never recieved a response so Im left to leave my review on here.

Great mimosas by the pitcher. Food lacked luster. Taste like I make at home and not special by any means! Had eggs Benedict and potatoes.

Terrific lunch and great atmosphere! The brunch burger was great (wish the egg was runny howeverand the potatoes were crispy. Service was on point and our server was very knowledgeable about the selection of drinks. Get the pretzel and the Texas Flight! 🥨🍺😍

Knowledgeable staff when it came to beer. Had a decent in depth conversation about certain beers. Had little knowledge about cooking burgers as mine and my dates were done and crunchy even though we both asked for medium. Would return for the beer and the beer cheese.Slow but efficient service. Returned on trivia night. Had a good time with friends. Liam is Heck of a server, just a big table and loads of people in the whole building.

Bottomless mimosas with the steak and egg bowl along with good music . The Atmosphere is fun and a great way to start your Sunday . We will definitely be back ! Highly recommend

We were a party of 14. I know it is hard to accommodate large parties. They were waiting for their two large tables to open. The customers paid and continued to talk and sit at the table. (2+hoursThere was two tables together that would sit 12. We needed another small table moved to have 2 more seats. They couldn’t move the table. We asked to move to chairs to the end of the table. They couldn’t do that. Thank goodness Bone Daddy’s could move tables and accommodate.

Great atmosphere and great selection. The staff are helpful and they always have great entertainment. Definitely worth checking out and if its your first time, try the flights.

Very slow service half of our food came and had to wait on the rest my husbands eggs were supposed to be medium but over cooked then made again they were raw wont go back

Arrived with friends with some great drink specials tonight. No Mexican beers on draft? Sacrilegious... ordered 2 BYO burgers, where each was fitted with double top buns or double bottom buns. Funny but not funny. Meat was supposed to be barely medium and we received well done, which made the patties dry, bitter and chalky. Clearly the kitchen staff was off. Wait staff and bar staff did an excellent job. Table across the patio ordered brussel sprouts, and the entire patio reeked like bad gas. Again: funny not funny.

Giving two stars only for the venue. However lunch service is verrrrrrrrryyyyyyyy slow! And the entire place is dirty! I’ve been in several times and am a firm believer in 2nd chances however they have proven to be consistent in1. Dirty Facility2. Slow Service3. Sub Par food

I ordered French onion soup, what I received was a bowl of grease with onions and some brown stuff. I asked to substitute it for carmelized Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were wilted and very overcooked. I ordered the Calibowl which was mostly rice with no avocado. However, beer was good. Maybe this was just a bad night for them.

Wings way over cooked but the Wifes Burger was amazingly good. My 11 dollar old fashion was a very weak in size compared to 99.9% of establishments. Live music was great but way too loud to have any convo inside. Over all I will return and enjoy the service.

I would Give this place a 5 star but I just cant. I never would of thought that cheese would be extra for a giant pretzel. With their Pretzel app you only get mustard. But thats my honest only complaint. Food was good (even though they were out of some itemsand they had a great selections of beer. And they helped me find one to my liking. Great restaurant yall. Will for sure go again!

Waited in line for about 25 minutes to be seated. Got seated and waited 10 minutes for a waiter to tell us they were only serving people there for a sorority event and then asked us to leave. They didn’t have any signs stating that and no one ever approached us while waiting to tell us that either. Horrible experience.

Place is nice...Atmosphere was fun and inviting, they had live music. Ordered a flight and was impressed by the variety of beer. Although, we were very disappointed in the lack of food service. They were out of stuff, the we waited almost an hour to receive our appetizers because the system was down or something and they didnt get our order until late. Not sure what that was about, but all in all it was a decent visit.Be aware that parking isnt the best, but they are keeping things safe with mask wearing.

Food was good. Wide variety of beers. Mixed drink was good too. Loved the live music (Sparkys Garden).

We just got their food last night and it was great but then we got it again today and it was burnt. I got the chipotle BBQ chicken flatbread. Its the same thing I got yesterday. It was horrible today. I had to take most of the chicken off so I could eat the rest. Husband got a burger and it tasted like straight charcoal. He didnt eat his burger.

Go here if you love beer. Do not go here if you want food. The beer is amazing. So many choices. It is almost overwhelming. The food is a flip of the coin. It might be amazing, or you may want to spit it out. Feeling lucky? Go for it. I have never been disappointed with beer there. Of course, how can one be disappointed with beer? I have had cold chili there. Ate there with friends, and one of my friends bit into a metal shard in the pretzel. I have had good food there as well, but it has run about 50/50. If you are thirsty for a beer, you will be 100 percent satisfied.

Did not like this place at all, it was my first time ever trying this place, and will be the last time. The service was abysmal to say the least, was sat down and it took almost 15 minutes to be waited on, all the while our "waitress" was chatting with people I assume she knew whom were sat down after us, completely ignoring us. All this while the place was not very crowded at all.Then she proceeded to tell us, she cant do flights for beer on a Saturday afternoon, mind you its almost 3 pm and then we couldnt do more than two flights to the table. Whats the point of the place being called world of beer when you cant even try the beers they claim to have on tap. I left and went somewhere else, and didnt even order at all. Terrible experience. They should consider changing their name to "world of poor service" it would fit alot better.

Really nice place and super friendly staff. But the fact that a bar doesnt have a physical drink menu to look at is a little off putting to me. They try to push the digital menu which is awesome but like i said cool place nice beer just need physical menus.

HAIR IN FOOD terrible service the entire meal took forever to get a drink asked nicely about wings and staff wasn’t willing to make the situation right. GROSS

Paid almost $12 for a chicken sandwich that had not even half a buns worth of chicken on it. Not only was it not as advertised, but it wasnt even good. I will not be returning.

The waiter was very friendly and the food was delicious! They are asking that you order more than beer during this time.They were out of a few things, but understandable.We had the black and blue Flatbread. They were out of the blue cheese, but it was still delicious!Adam was our waiter and he did a really good job!

This place is a shame. Good food. Terrible service. I mean there was 4 other couples in the entire place and it took us 15 minutes to get our sangrias. the bar staff was visibly wasted and taking shots right in front of us and giving all the other staff grape soda shots and laughing while we were waiting on drinks. As time goes on we’re waiting for our appetizer and one of their little friends got a little too wasted and face planted on the back patio and everyone laughed. 45 min later we got our starter. This place has terrible management and terrible staff. When we got our ticket they left our drinks off and after we paid they can and told us they forgot it so we had to pay again??? Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

The Tuna in the Cali Bowl was way overcooked and it was just 4 tiny pieces of tuna, really?The soy sauce was too salty, not regular soy sauce.I ordered my Chimay Burger medium rare and got it well done instead, not good at all!Waitress offered ketchup and mustard when Ive already had eaten half of my burger but she brought them when I had 1 bite left of my burger, not needed anymore.Waitress asked if food was OK and we obviously said it wasnt good at all, she offered to get a manager and we agreed. Do you think the manager showed up? Of course there wasnt any manager checking on customers concerns.Restrooms are gross, flusher handles doesnt work in mens restroom so its super dirty!Adding pictures as proof.

This is a great place to grab a drink, the food is average. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Ive always had a good experience here, but we usually always sit at the bar. Great beer selection, and excellent food. The pretzel is awesome, and their tacos are really good. If you can, avoid the Sunday Brunch. The only good thing about it is the mimosas.

We were in a group of 9-10 people (before the dinner rushwhich had been arranged long in advance.Service was less than great - when we got it. Food and drinks both slow. We had to ask for plates even though they knew the plan was for us to be sharing a ton of appetizers.Needless to say, our group will be at a different venue next month.But the food and drinks were good.

Service is a bit slow but everyone is very nice. Lots of great beer. Plenty of TVs. The food selection goes past your typical bar fare with things like bibambop. We were there at 7 on a Wednesday during the summer and walked right in. Trivia night is a good addition. The pretzel. Mmmmm.

Waiter was less than helpful. Most questions about their beer selection could not be answered. Flights were not customizable. Please note, this review is specific to the Lubbock, TX location. Ive frequented other locations with pleasurable experiences.

Used to be my favorite place to eat and get a beer, but the service stinks now. Even when the bar is less than half full you have to stand on your head to get service.We will not be coming back!

Cool place to hang. Although the server can make or break the experience. Beer flights are fun and being able to try different beers make it unique. Lubbock needed something like this.

Great selection of food! The pretzel appetizer is great, and the Guinness infused Brat is the best thing on their lunch menu.I love this place for lunch because it’s not super busy, and when the weather is nice, the patio is great.The barbacoa street tacos were okay...The flights are fun and they let you try a variety of items without locking you into something you don’t like. They’ll even let you try any draught item before you order a whole glass.Another reason to go at lunch is that the prices are significantly less than dinner!

Huge selection of drinks available. A great place to grab a drink with a couple friends. They have a few board games available if thats your thing. There is a variety of appetizers and entrees available if you are hungry.

Taco Tuesday is where it is at. The tacos are pretty yummy, especially after a drink or two. The food all around is pretty good, it could be a little cheaper, but nonetheless it is decent. Music is great. Staff is really nice and welcoming, however service is typically slow. I received my wings before the rest of my party even received their waters. The friendly hospitality, kind of make up for it, but I would say work on getting them orders out quicker.

Massive beer selection. Jennifer was very helpful in suggesting new beers to try and Ryan was awesome and we shared a great conversation. Beer connoisseurs should check this out for sure, as no other place in town has nearly as many beer options.

I wanted so badly to like this establishment. My wife and I have been on several occasions since they opened and the experience has not improved.If you enjoy awful stadium country, pseudo rap, and garbage rock, then the music is right up your alley.The decor is great and the patio is very comfortable.While they do have a good selection of beer, the wait staff is often highly inept and have no clue about the differences in style.The food is decent.For us, it really boils down to the ineptitude of the staff and the truly awful music selection. I wont be back.

Fantastic service!! Everyone is very well trained and knowledgeable. This place offers great bar food and an amazing selection. There isnt many places (if at allin the Lubbock area quite like this. Highly recommend, whether youre a local native or just here visiting.
