World War II Museum - History museum in Dinalupihan, Philippines
Bataan world war 2 museum is a great place and more nice views.
Warm inside the museum
Nice memorial on Bataan WWII. 1.6 kilometer walk up and down the memorial mountain. No entrance in the cross. Plenty to see, if a clear day you can see to Manila Bay.
To see and perceive the things of the past and the sacrifices that out soldiers and people who fought for freedom. Its such an honor to come to know it on hand.
Exciting place to visit along with family.
Very cool and interesting place!! Loads of information about almost everything from WWII. If you’re planning on seeing everything make sure to give yourself at least 4-5 hours. The place is huge and they’re currently building a holocaust exhibit. I will be back to see it!
I didnt yet go to the Messeum because very crowded.but outside there is to much sourviner.and that place I recommend to all why? Because If were visiting there maipapadama natin na pinahahalagahan natin sila❤🍀🌷
I really love visiting this place. Its a very historical place, and also beautiful sceneries and weapons to look at.
historical. seems like bringing you to the past era.
Perfect place for a glimpse of History from WWII. Mt Samat, has a museum that houses memories of all Fil-American effort during the war. and the Commemorative Building for the Heroes of Death March
Mt. Samat. A monument as well as a reminder of the hardship of the Pilipino people under the hands of Japanese attack.I visited the place twice. I still love this place. It reminds me of World War 2. And I am happy, I was not born during those days. Most probably, its very hard to live or I end up dead.Thank you our brave Filipino soldiers who gave their lives in order for us to be free and alive today.
The 4D movie was amazing well made. Pack a lunch because it might take all day to see all 5 buildings. Great museum.
Nice view of Bataan. Artifacts are well preserved
Make sure to get your car pass or you need to walk the last 6 km up the mountain
Amazing! Makes history come alive
Theres no improvement on the collection of artifacts. The display is static and boring. A man guarding it needs to be replaced because what he knows is "dont touch" he does not know how to interact with people.
Its a very historical place, and also beautiful sceneries
In memory of the courage and bravery of Filipinos during World War 2. The view deck gives a breathtaking view of Bataan and Cavite. It is worth a day trip to encourage patriotism and pride to be a Filipino.
Love the ride, from the base to the top of the hill. Winding road but great view at the top.
The view is nice, and it is nice to visit if you are into history.
This place is so great ,well this year i got my family visit here and yup its so high and you feel at ease when you are in the top of that cross and wow its so amazing
Nice WW2 memorial park for our fallen Pinoy heroes. Quite a challenge to climb the foot of the Cross. Nice view of Bataan and place is windy and cool.
Nice place for a visit if you want to know the history of post war Germany.
The view is breathtaking! Also, i hope the government will give this museum an upgrade because some people will try and sit on the low tables making it unstable for the displayed machineries and whatnot. And the photos, i hope that those will be preserved and better displayed.
Very nice place to visit for couple hours. Nice landscaping and very informative attractions. Only minus during my visit we could not go to top of the cross for magnificent views over manila bay and surrounding hillsites. Very recommendable.
Really helps you to remember and deeply appreciate the sacrifice Filipino and American forces made for our freedom.
Neverthought I can visit the site in my whole life. The whole museum retells the story that had been written in our academe books. Im in awe. Thank you
A Hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself - Joseph Campbell
Excellent Museum! History of World war II around Philippines are presented here including the war of Bataan. Soldiers’ gun, uniform, armaments are showcased here. You will learn about the Filipino soldiers death march during Japan’s intervention during the war. The 4D movie was awesome. Great staff, modern compositions makes learning history fun.
What an in-depth complex of a museum! Rather Comprehensive, touching on lots of different aspects of world war 2, even the less known parts. Its like walking through the history channel or national geographic. Would recommend the "beyond all boundaries" movie, but not the "the final mission" submarine experience (not worth $6). Parking in the adjoining lot is as affordable as parking around it, so just park in the garage. We spent 7 hours there and still had to rush some areas. Expensive but Worth it, if you have the time to spend. Up there with the Holocaust museum or the slave castles in Ghana, exploratorium... Or the salt and pepper shaker museum.
This is a place where you can learn about the past history of the Philippines how they fought what weapons are availlable then and how they used it and how hard for the pilipino soldiers the life they lived how they suffer from the japanese soldiers How they walk the death march how they suffer and how long the walk is
Cold and nice place to visit if you love ww2 history
My dad served in the 1st Filipino Infantry Batallion during WW2. At this museum, I saw the weapins he carried and those of the enemy he faced. Very moving!
Its a good look back to how our heroes endure the Death March during war. Plus the fact that youre on top of the world is amazing!
This place is a memorial for the American and Filipino soldiers who fought as long as they could to hold off the Japenese forces.
I was very impressed with the 4D movie.
Very nice place. Historic and breathe taking view.
Really good museum packed with a lot of information a must visit
The 4D experience was amazing!!! Really suspenseful and packed with information. The whole museum is really cool, I loved being able to see the aircrafts from so many angles! Definitely fun for the whole family.
Excellent Museum! The 4D movie is awesome. Great staff, modern compositions make learning history fun.
A very historical place, visit by lot of people. Peaceful and quite. Close to Dambana ng Kagitingan wherein the scenery is beautiful.
Learn your history here.
even off ang elevator sa pg visit nmin still perfect p rin ang rate nya pra sa akin.... because of the history cleanliness, friendly guards, and monkeys!prepare you car when u planned to visit here... zigzag road is a challenge in your ascend....
This museum is our window in the past, the collections of guns and weapons of the soldiers before were displayed there. The museum is quite small but its full of equipments and artifacts of the past.
Great place to learn about the history. The battle of Bataan
Great for educational and historical tours. The museum focuses on the battles that happened in Mt. Samat, and to the Philippines during the second world war.
Very small and dark, hot inside the museum
A museum for the whole family. Know your history. Enjoyed the view!
A historic place where brave people fought for freedom
Very informative and well thought of place though it is quite small. One down side is that there are too many mosquitos.
