World's Largest Easel - Museum in Goodland, United States
Its a very big easel. My dog appreciated the dog park.
We saw this as part of an "Adventure Lab" app. We like seeing these cheesey touristy things along with discovering the history of towns
Its a big easel with a Van Gogh painting. Not else much more to say. Good place to stop take a break from driving through the most boring estate ever Kansas! Does have a dog park attached to it. And I think I saw a playground nearby. Anyway if youre bored stop by nothing else to do in the small town of goodland though.
Really cool to see-- my wife and I stopped by at night and I have to recommend it! Awesome!
This is a great place to stop along I-70.. it is such a long drive thru Kansas. Easy off the highway for a quick stop, stretch you legs and enjoy the artwork
This was a really nice surprise to find this gem, quite by accident. I was looking for a gas station and saw this from the road so I found the little parking lot, got out and went for a walk with my dog. Theres a nice fenced play area with a separate area for small dogs which is a nice feature for little ones like mine. Its worth a visit if you find yourself in the area.
As beautiful and huge as the photos. Great place to stop for some pictures
Cool piece of art just when you can use a little change of scenery!
4 stars for being unique. Its cool, check it out on your way.
After the fabulously boring drive, its nice to see something of interest.
This was a fun stop along the highway before entering Colorado. It is big, fun, near gas and other needed highway comfort stops, and free!
Awesome easel! Ive seen it in real life, but also came across the same card in my Zillionaires Board Game
Very cool spot. Dont forget to sign in at the book by the information kiosk. Very nice place. Nice dog park picnic benches really a plus to the town
If you are driving by you need to stop and ask why do people do this.... it is soo tall
A creative way to bring attention to local humanitarian organizations and activities.
Homies, this is actually kinda cool! I’m not entirely sure the purpose of this neat little spot, but it definitely adds some character to the town! They’ve got a nice dog park, lots of benches and picnic tables, clean cut grass, it’s pretty cool!
Great
Its Huge! Nice stopping point for your road trip.
Great place to get out, stretch your legs and enjoy giant art.
My mom said I would see the worlds largest easel. She was correct
its a little washed out but what a sight to see. definitely a good stop
Its okay nice flat space to ran and take a break from driving. It would be okay if you missed it.
Super cute! Way bigger than I thought it would be. Not sure if the painting is fading from the sun or if my cam was dirty but neat free Stop to those interested in art
Stretch your legs & see something unique in just a few minutes. Worth the stop!
It’s actually pretty impressive when you first see it driving up. It’s only a minute from the highway so why not stop here?? It’s fun for the whole family.
Not much to say about this road side attraction. The park around it was clean and not busy at all. Right beside a Dog Park so something for the pups to enjoy.
You gotta visit this place, people are very friendly and the history is amazing. Soon they will add 2 more rooms to the museum.
Sunny day after a snow...beautiful!
Stayed at an Airbnb here overnight on our way to Utah. How can anyone pass up a photo of at the worlds largest anything right? It was very neat and obviously quite large. If you are nearby, you should definitely check it out.
Exactly what you would expect. There is andenced dog park next door.
Its very cool to see.
Great attraction and interpretation of VanGogh. High culture on the plains!
A must-see, must-stop roadside attraction in Goodland, Kansas. Anything to take a break from the monotony of driving I-70!
Cool little stopping place. This thing is really big!
As a hug Van Gogh fan, this was areal treat!
Theres lots of interesting roadside attractions to see if you take the time, but this one is among the more worthwhile. Take a minute to read the story of how this came to be. Theres a big lawn area perfect for a picnic and a great dog park as well. Wed stop again for sure. #RichmondRoadTrip
It’s right off the highway. Located in a field. Pretty cool to see something so random on a road trip. Glad I got to see it.
Awesome tourist attraction close to I-70, but no bathrooms so keep that in mind. They have a lot of grass, plus a few picnic tables. They also have a dog park nearby with two sections (one 25 lbs under and the 25 pounds over). Great for a quick stop and a few photos
Lots of parking, easy to find, and a huge easel with a van Gogh painting. If you are anywhere close and reading this review you have to do this adventure and get a few photos. Then walk 2 blocks north post the train tracks to the high plains museum. They some really old stuff in there and its a great photo stop. There is a nice clean well maintained dog park next to the easel so Fido can have some fun too.If you like larger stuff so by Casey il with about a dozen large things. If your staying at the KOA in Goodland its a 5 min walk from the back entrance west on the dirt road to the easel. If you like these road side attractions give us a like and follow us @adventurekrewe
A very unexpected but neat find while making the drive back across the country.Highly recommended,it is SO HUGE!
Great rest stop! It was really clean, the art is impressive and way larger than you would expect. Plus there was an awesome dog park right next to it! It was the best rest stop we visited on our trip.
Really awesome place to stop! So beautiful!
THE WORLDS LARGEST EASEL!!! Small town with a few diners nearby and combined with a dog park. Worth a stop to scratch this one off your bucket list!
Pretty cool to see this. Nice big area to stretch your legs. Seems well taken care of.
Saw this from 70 so we decided to turn around and check it out. Definitely worth stopping to see this and stretch your legs. Plus they have a dog park right there so its even better to stop and see this place.
Easy stop off I 70 if you are passing through. We stopped at the visitor center and got to chat with a couple of the locals - they were very friendly and we had a great conversation! They provided information about the giant easel and its history, and sent us on our way with some nice cold water for the road as well!
Great spot for a quick leg stretch and kitsch appreciation of Van Gogh next to a gun shop and a dollar store.
This is a funny weird stop, but enjoyable for the typical american road trip. Random, quirky, and simple.
I love tourist traps! Not kidding I really enjoy the nostalgia of "worlds largest" stuff.
A unique piece of Americana in the heartland. A nice short detour to break up a long cross-country drive.
