Amazing place
Amazing 👏
Good
A filthy ideology it represents but a beautiful piece of art nonetheless.
Nice monument from Soviet time!
Sculpture looks just gorgeous.
Amazing monument!
The statue was created by Vera Mukhina ("the queen of Soviet sculpture"the master of socialist realistic sculpture, for the 1937 World Fair in Paris.Though it hardly consoled Mukhina, her sculpture became an official emblem of the Mosfilm cinema studio in 1947. Since then every Soviet film made by this studio is introduced by a logo of a man and woman holding a hammer and sickle. In 2003 the sculpture was cordoned off while repair works took place, and only in 2010 was it unveiled once again – and it finally got a higher pedestal (34.5 meters, 10 meters higher than the previous one), taking the total height to 58 meters: The fifth tallest statue in Russia.
MoreA nice extra after checking out the All-Russian Exhibition Center! Magnificent statue oozing of soviet propaganda.
MoreSculpture of two figures with a sickle and a hammer raised over their heads. It is 24.5 meters (78 feethigh, made from stainless steel by Vera Mukhina for the 1937 Worlds Fair in Paris and subsequently moved to Moscow. Monument stands close to VDHKh (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy). Definitely worth to see!🤩

Interesting temporary exhibition on Kazans museum collection.
Great monument. Fantastic arts exhibition inside.
A huge monument of Soviet past. The pure essence of. It big, steel cold and granite hard. Blind muscular metal colossuses, empty inside, lifeless and incredible expensive. Trying to please and terrify at same time. Called to glorify things, that never exist.Pedestal looks like splattered in blood, as if it been dragged across a lot of people. Its pretty good symbol of Soviet era, it shows much more than intended.
MoreImpressive socialistic realism
Reminds you of the Soviet time.
Communist Russia still lives here.
Lovely environment park

Kind of our in the middle of nowhere, but the statue is iconic, for people who appreciate Soviet culture.
MoreNostalgic feeling to see these two in real, and not in the trailer of an old movie. They are huge, thou you cant get very close, these are on the top of a building.
MoreImpress and amazing Building
Impressive statue made by Vera Mukhina. It has a great story too, from the first time it was exhibited at the 1937 Paris Expo, on top of the Soviet pavilion, in front of the Nazi Germanys one. Now it stands on a replica of the pavilion, at VDNKh. The surroundings need refurbishing, thats the only flaw.
Morevery powerful sculpture
Magnificent example of USSR architecture
Worth a visit, typical Soviet.
