Wood St Coffee - Coffee shop in San Borja, Bolivia
Wood St Coffee is certainly worth the walk up from the station nearby. Youre welcomed into this bright, open space with friendly staff milling about. The coffee is sensational, as well as the food! Its such a breath of fresh air coming here :)
Good coffee and brunch options
The french toast is incredible, as is the coffee!! Such friendly people here too, I always leave smiling. We were never brunch people, but Wood St has completely converted us (not that wed go anywhere else!).
Excellent BLT and Decaf latte with oatmilk..loved the coffee. Service friendly and laid back vibe was relaxing. Will be back and spread word about a gem hidden away!!
Best coffee in London. Absolute favourite was the Parma Violet-hinted "Heartbeats Valentines" in February; unfortunately they only had 50 bags or some ridiculous number. We got about 10, I think, and would have happily kept buying it. Shame.Steep in price, especially considering we drink about 2kg (and still have to buy top up bags a couple times from a local cafeper month. It really adds up in an eye-%popping way. The divine flavour and smell soon makes you forget the price, to be fair. Delish. Well done, Wood Street. 🙂
Cute cozy coffee place with a lovely neighbourhood vibe. The breakfast options are delicious, coffee was great too. Staff is very friendly. French toast was a highlight!
I really like this place for a quiet brunch, their menu changes every week, we always get delicious food and drinks and I love their BLT!
Great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch as well as coffee. Small menu focussed on good quality food rather than a huge range, but with good vegetarian options. Has a ‘functional-practical-cool’ vibe thanks to the basic wood and metal furniture, possibly made at the workshop next door.A busy place - expect to wait a while for food at lunchtimes if you go after 12:30 and particularly for take-away orders. Food can run out early so go early. My tip is if ordering food and coffee to take away, to ask that the coffee is done when the food is ready otherwise you will get your coffee straight away and then wait 20 minutes until the food is done. They have been very happy to replace my coffee when this has happened in the past, but quickly solved if you let them know when you order.
Coffee and pastries were ace, really cool vibes and nice little bit of outside seating for sunny mornings ☀️
Amazing food, great coffee.
Came yesterdays for the first time and back again today for the coffeee. Ordered a Halloumi bagel aswell which was lovely.
Incredible coffee, the latte is one of the best Ive had. Picture is of the halloumi bagel and I would definitely get it again. Has seating inside and outside, would be lovely on a warm summers day. Highly recommended
Great little hidden coffee place with excellent coffee, great food and really friendly staff! Definitely worth a visit if youre in the area!
Lovely coffee and brunch - BLT with fried egg mmmm
This bread pudding french toast was absolutely incredible!Friendly service and great coffee.A must visit.
Great coffee, great food, wonderful staff, and a lovely little terrace in the sun - what more could you want?
Really nice cafe adjoining the Blackhorse Workshop. I didnt try the coffee on this occasion so will have to come back but the BLT I ordered was out of this world. Definitely worth checking out if youre local or just in the area.
Love this place. Menu changes daily, always lots of delicious options. Very casual, low key and friendly vibe
Been coming here recently with big coffee orders and everyone is so thorough and fast!! They always double check everything and make it so quick. Lovely friendly service and great atmosphere, nice pastries too. Always clean and the coffee tastes great - wouldn’t go anywhere else :)
Luke warm coffee served. Coffee orders mixed up on more than one occasion. Quite a greasy BLT served. The seating area offered no blow fan or warmth. I was cold and happy to leave.
Stuff very pleasant, tried their filter coffee. Plenty indoor and outdoor seating. Will have to come back for more coffee.
Great coffee, BLT sandwich with fried egg was delicious.
Very nice sandwiches (miso mayo may have been a bit too salty and would have been better if the bread was slightly toastedand coffee
Beautiful coffee and amazing breakfast. Great stop on our way from Hastings to London.
Great coffee and youbreally nerd to try their BLT its amazing.
The owners used to have a coffee machine on Orford Rd. Difficult to believe now but, back then, there wasn’t the foot fall (or the hipstersso they moved to BHR.The now established café is ace. Coffee is the star. They roast, grind, sell all manner of drinks as well as sell retail beans to businesses and consumers. The sandwiches and take away meals are also ace. The doughnuts on a weekend (Jonutswere amazing, sadly these aren’t available any more.WSC were pioneers back then. And since they moved to the area they have been at the forefront of changing what was a light industrial back water into a brilliant, foody, creative destination!
Excellent coffee, brilliant food. Super friendly staff. Cant wish for anything more!
Great coffee, lovely food including for takeaway. Also sells a small selection of kitchen essentials since coronavirus. Pleasant atmosphere, outdoor seating and very on it with social distancing.
Seats a little uncomfortable. Not really sure how to order or where to sit if its your first time but staff are friendly and attentive. Would like to see some more vegi options if possible.👍
Best breakfast and coffee in Walthamstow. Weve never been let down by these guys. The pork belly benedict with miso hollandaise is outrageous and the coffee is always bang on. They sell Oatly oat milk and Tonys Chocolonely in the cafe too which is a big win. Cant fault Wood Street Coffee!
Our favourite dog friendly cafe in Walthamstow for brunch. French toast is amazing.@frankiefor_president
Amazing coffee and service, plus the location is really cute next to a workshop.
My go-to for brunch and coffee in Walthamstow - it never disappoints. Lovely vibe and staff; even better food. Wish it was closer to me, but am willing to travel for the delicious bites!
Great vibe and amazing coffee!!
I’m an artist and I understand pretentiousness on some level. However I felt too much- ‘we are greater than thou’. One lady serving was fairly polite but the rest of the staff looked miserable, especially the tall blonde guy serving my coffee from the machine. No smile, minimal acknowledgement, and when my coffee was ready he literally just looked at me with the most depressed grimacing nod. Tbh most times I’ve been here I don’t get a good vibe. Shame
Coffee is amazing, as was the food. We got the pork belly benedict and it was delicious! Staff are super lovely, can’t recommend more for brunch!
Every time I brunch in this coffee shop I leave thinking its even better than I remembered. Its not only the minimalistic, clean and clear décor, or the peaceful, friendly atmosphere. The food is truly exquisite.Theres sitting inside and out, and an air of relaxed enjoyment. Customers working on their laptops, visiting with kids of any ages or spending some time with their dogs are all welcome. The coffee is great and the food options varied and original. And, moreover: absolutely delicious! Theres an explosion of flavour at every morsel, a dance of textures and contrasts that really work together. On portions that dont disappoint big hungers.I absolutely love every bit of it. Even more than I already did after seeing they also sell Tonys chocolonely :)
What a gem! Loved the coffee and food.Staff were all really friendly and helpful.Highly recommended. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Loved this place. Great coffee and fab menu. Was Busy on a sunday so had to wait a bit for a table but that was what the croissant was for!
Very friendly and welcoming local cafe. Great food and coffee. The colour of the poached eggs was incredible. You can tell there is a lot of care and thoughtfulness has gone into the design and experience
Amazing place! Great food and coffee, pleasant people and chill athmosphere. Its a nice hidden surprise in the Walthamstow area! Definitely a come back!
Great food and coffee. Pet friendly! Love taking the puppies for breakfast visits.
Turned up on a Saturday an hour before the closing time to find chairs and stools all up on tables and we were given our drinks in paper cups. Disappointing to walk up from Blackhorse Rd to a venue not really bothered about its customers, with staff more interested in clearing up to get home. The flat white was ok, the hot chocolate fine, and the space is green and airy.Recommended if you are at Blackhorse Workshop but not worth visiting otherwise.
I cannot fault this place. First time visiting today. Not easy to find if you don’t know the area but plenty of free parking near by. Had to have the pork belly benny, miso hollandaise so tasty! Great coffee of course. My personal preference would be not to eat in same room as dogs, but at least they were well behaved.
Best coffee in Walthamstow with delicious well priced food in a great space.
Friendly staff. Tasty coffee. Sandwich was huge! You can sit outside and its reasonably quiet too. Bit on the pricey side but lovely nonetheless.
Glad to see shops like this around what used to be a barren industrial estate!Friendly staff, well made food and a very nice aesthetic to the whole shop. Would highly recommend 🙂Its down an alley between the row of houses, make sure not to miss it!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and laid back appearance of this place. On top of that the food was deliciously prepared and they had clearly paid great attention to detail. A five star coffee shop!
Terrible service. 5 staff, no chat or welcome, didnt ask how the food was or if we wanted more coffee etc. Staff spent time publicly more interested in their phones than customers. Place was very quiet which meant most customers were whispering to each other. Small portions. Such a shame as its a lovely space. Wont be going back or recommending to friends
A lovely open, light, clean cafe with lots of outdoor seating and a first rate mocha. A bit difficult to find though, make sure you turn down the footpath for the Blackhorse Workshop. Just to make sure youre doing East London correctly, get the delicious and reasonably priced smashed avocado on toast.
