Fun place for my two year old… But Regnier family you need to seriously figure out what’s going on with your cleaning protocol! The dust is ridiculous on many surfaces! Ensuring a clean space for health is just as important as children having a great place to explore and have fun. All your low star ratings seem to have something to say about the cleanliness… I hope you take this seriously or we will not be renewing our membership if something like dust is piling up.

My kids loved it, we stayed over 3 hours I think. This is probably better for younger kids than Science City (that one is fun too thoughbut they are similar. Benefit of Wonderscope is free convenient parking and at least for me a little shorter drive. The play structure with the bus is a little scary with younger kids just because they can pop out the side of it and run off without you seeing, but some of the other areas are easier to supervise. Overall fun place for the kids. I recommend buying a Pogo Pass as you can try this and several other activities out for overall less than the price at the door.

I don’t think you could find a complaint for this place if you tried. It’s comparable (maybe betterthan the Omaha Children’s Museum, if you’re familiar. There are so many sections to appeal to whatever your kid might be into. I brought a 4 year old and an 8 year old and they both had a blast.

Very nice cool place and a great concept but it was so crowded and I felt like my kids could not experience everything fully. It was $8 for kids and $12 for adults. There were different stations inside ranging from building, arts and crafts. Dress up, water play, pretend grocery shopping and restaurant. Outside was a bird watching treehouse, sand play and some broken tricycles. Like I said a very nice concept but it was just too crowded and the space was small for the amount of ppl there.

Great place!! Tons and tons of activities inside and outside very hands on. You could easily spend a few hours here. The only downside is this place is definitely geared towards little ones up to maybe third grade, and there is little supervision so just make sure you keep a good eye out for your kiddos. Other than that, great!

What a great way to spend a day! I took kids shes 4-13, and they each really enjoyed parts of this facility!! When we came back in the afternoon, my bigs enjoyed a bit more space and less noise than the early day crew who probably went home for naps. The staff was so fun, helpful, and kind. The whole place was clean, including restrooms. Even this less-than-fun-mom had a great time and everyone was sad when it was time to come home. Thank you for a fun day!!!

Today was our first visit and for the most part, we enjoyed our stay. However, twice, once on the way in and once on the way out, we were nearly t-boned in the parking lot by vehicles speeding through the middle aisle. I dont know if anyone actually reads these but Id like to suggest a couple of speed bumps down that middle aisle as it is an establishment geared towards energetic young kids. Im not sure we will be back as I dont want to see a child get run over in the parking lot.

I absolutely love this place! They have great prices and an unbelievable amount of stuff to entertain your child. Everything is hands on learning so not only is your child having fun they are using different learning skills at the same time. The only down side us this is the only place like it in KC.

The photos made the place look like a day care, the friend I went with (who has the 3 year oldalso thought the same thing. But it turned out to be pretty cool and even pretty entertaining for a 35 year old (me). What a great place for kids to play and stimulate their minds!

Wonderful place to take kids. Used to take our son to Wonderscope when it was in Shawnee and enjoyed it then too. But the new Wonderscope building, activities and exhibits are so much better. Love the interactive water activity, grocery store, play areas, etc. Thanks to the Wonderscope staff, the Regnier family and sponsors who contributed to making this a first class experience!

The facility was dirty; Im not referring to handprints and smudges. I am referring to dirt/dust particles that accumulate over time in the cracks/crevices.I highly recommend you close early and hire professionals to disinfect the toys, tables, floors, etc. Also, discard/replace toys that are broken, bent, or discolored. Our family looked foward to the experience. Unfortunately, we left shortly after arriving. Regnier Family, please remember that cleanliness is critical to the health and wellbeing of children.

The amount of parents that treat this like a daycare and let their kids run a muck unsupervised is absolutely appalling. So many things have been broken, and utterly destroyed from the lack of supervision. This should be a fun experience for all but instead turns into a mad house where younger kids are barreled over and bullied by bigger ones, things are thrown around & arent played with properly, these toys and exhibits are not indestructible. The staff tries their best but with 30-40 kids at one station and 3 adults in sight they cant do much.

I have been a wonderscope member for 3 years. We visited the old building weekly. When the new facility opened, we visited twice weekly and it was wonderful. You will notice the amount of negative reviews in the past 2 months. There is good reason for this. We visited 2 times in December of 2021. Both times it was filthy. Both times my children became sick after visiting. We stopped going and all stayed healthy. In March 2022 I decided to give it another shot. Again, it was filthy and my children became sick yet again. Staff do not wear masks properly, staff is not attentive, play stations need upkeep. The snack room is atrocious. No soap and no paper towels to wash hands, dirty tables and chairs. Bathrooms also need more attention. Most alarming, another mother lost her 2 year old and notified the nearest staff member. She was panicked and asked for help. She informed the staff of what the child was wearing and got the response “ok, I’ll keep an eye out” and no further action was taken. This is a major safety issue. There should be a lost child protocol and if it already exists, it is not executed. I will stop bringing my children here due to the lack of sanitization, upkeep, and inattentive and uninterested staff.

Always super crowded and loud, even on weekdays. The old facility was run-down but having separate rooms was better and the themes were more fun. My 5 year old is bored at the new one in an hour, especially because there are long waits for everything. Want to do art or "drive" the bus? Wait 10 minutes for a spot to open up just so another kid can line jump in while their parent says nothing. Parking is also awful.

Wow! Went here with an elementary kiddo and a toddler and 3 hours wasnt enough! 3 adults and 2 kids ran $39 dollars and was worth EVERY penny. Tall about an all inclusive experience for the kids - check out the pictures! And I didnt even capture everything... the kids are already begging to go back.

Found this place online while visiting town and looking for somewhere to take our six year old to burn off some energy. What a fantastic place to visit. We all had a great time using all of the interactive exhibits. His favorite was the water exhibit and climbing all the way to the bus at the top of the play structure. The place was full of kids but we never felt crowded. The outdoor area was fun with several games and places to play. A great place to take the family!

I Would give more stars if they were true to their hours of operation. They only get two because my kids did have fun with the dirty toys. They close half the areas down at 4:30. Also we asked the staff why they closed early and they literally said “I don’t know.” My family drove an hour and a half for them to kick us out at 4:55 and my kids got to play in three areas because they were all closed for cleaning at 4:30. It’s ridiculous. And I personally don’t care about people wearing masks or not but I did see someone make a rating about a week ago that the staff was not wearing masks and the owner replied and said that they wear their masks. The owner was right, they just wear them over their mouths only. We also tried to find the manager or supervisor that was there and had no luck even with asking and called and emailed and no answers as to why any of this happened. I just wish my parents wouldn’t have wasted their money on a membership for my daughter for Christmas cause I want to get their money back. When you read this don’t think I’m a Karen, I’ve been here multiple times and had good and bad experiences but this one was definitely the worst.

Overall a great experience for my 2 year old! Very clean and amazing place for exploring and discovering for children of multiple ages. Only reason I did not give 5 stars was the staff. My 2 year old was told the “optimal” way to play with something, which in my opinion is whatever he wants as long as he is being safe which he always was. Felt staff was a little bossy and too often corrected my child for playing with something “wrong”.

Phenomenal place to have a birthday party for a kid! Private room had plenty of space to decorate, though 15 minutes to set up wasnt enough without a posse of friends to help. Kids were so excited to play that they didnt even care about cake so that should be a testament to how great this place is! Highly recommend for a birthday or just an entertaining afternoon activity! Make sure you have at least a couple hours to spend so theres enough time to enjoy all the different exhibits

This is a great interactive learning experience for younger children. My girls are 4 and 7, but I would say 10 and under (if you have a "young" 10). The exhibits were very clean and theyre following COVID precautions while keeping it fun and as little disruptions as possible. The price was reasonable. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

I used to love taking my kids to the old Wonderscope museum on Johnson drive and hadnt been to the new one since it relocated. I was blown away. The kids had a fantastic time and there was tons to do inside AND outside. They have a sports room, a water table room, and indoor climbing playground, a little area for four and under kids, and art room, and much more.About twice an hour it seemed they were getting on the announcement system saying meet in such and such a room for story time or a pep rally or some small activity they had going on.It really was an awesome morning for my little friends. There are plenty of bathrooms around the building and everything was clean and there are tons of people working to ask questions or show the kids some cool things. We will definitely go back!!!

Great facility! Lots for the kids to do and see. My kids grew up going to the old facility, and while this museum is bigger and more "modern", it has lost a little of its charm not being in the old school building with the "play room" feel. We will definitely bring little friends back to the new facility, though! Lots of variety and plenty of space to run, play, imagine, and create!

This place was a blast! We went as part of our POGO pass. I was skeptical when we walked in and saw how small it was. I figured we would be there an hour or two and then my (4kids would have done everything and ready to go. Well, we were there 5 hours and literally had to drag them out of there! There is a craft room, painting, a baby and toddler area, a small blimbing structure, water area, sports, engineering (where real tools are used!Covering multiple facets of engineering. There was a whole are outside as well with a sand pit, small silo, a rope climbing structure, oversized chess board, sidewalk chalk, small rope maze, and a little shack like structure with small activities in it.They have parties rooms and a "picnic area" to bring your own food in and eat.**The reason for the lost star. The staff was inattentive and some were downright rude. We went on a Saturday so very busy. 3 times I had to go to the front desk to alert them that their bathrooms needed attention. Either the paper towels or toilet paper (sometimes bothwere out. Clearly they dont ever get checked. The people working out in in exhibits were 6/7 teenagers. I went to tell one that an area with completely out of paint to wich she replied that she couldnt shut the area to refill the paint. Why does the area need to be shut down to refill it I asked? She said that is just how its done and literally walked away.

What I love about Google reviews is that I can say whatever I want about my experience. Whether or not you listen, thats on you. This place rocks but my dear parents you better double up on your xanax, smoke a bowel, or grab that coffee with baileys in it before you get here. Not doing this was a fatal error on my part. Thank God my better half thought ahead and after I numbed myself well enough to deal with sheree craziness we had a blast. The photos speak for themselves. The place is safe, clean, spacious and filled with more things for a kid to than anything I can come up with on a rainy day.Point 2. If its raining youre not the only genius thinking this is a sweet spot to hit. The cost was good by my standard. $50 for 2 kids and 2 adults. Try seeing a movie for that price!Theyve got more games than milton Bradley here, water boards, basketball hoops, soccer nets and entire fake grocery store and restaurant.Point 3. Dont let you kid eat the fake produce. Unless thats a step up from eating paint chips or lead. Maybe that explains it!?So long as you dont mind the loudest, craziest, anxiety provoking environment youll be ok. If it bothers you then refer back to the intro for support.

Wonderscope was definitely filled with delightful wonders and gems for young children. They had sanitized to the highest level. It was very clean and well lit. Staff were kind and prompt in answering questions and responding to concerns. My 3 grandson truly enjoyed himself. I look forwarding to visiting more in the Spring and Summer with my other grandchildren. The restaurant, 💧 area, school bus, and grocers were my favorites. The price was very reasonable. The best part is that you have 30 days to apply your payment to an annual membership!

Oh my goodness, the new Wonderscope is amazing! We were so attached to the old Wonderscope, but the new one is truly better. It retains a lot of the allure and charm of the old Wonderscope (hands-on art space, water play, grocery store, etc.), but just improves on that. The layout is so well thought out — all the space is used so cleverly so that there are tons of little nooks for kids to play in. There’s tons of bench seating for the adults, so they don’t have to stand around as much as before. There’s a diaper change station centrally located in the play space. The outdoor space is basically its own play space — my daughter could have spent the entire 2 hours outside if I’d let her 😂. And possibly my favorite feature: the spacious carpeted under-4 area. My son crawled for about a year, and it was nearly impossible to find good places to take him during that time. This space would have been amazing for him during that time!
