Puente de la Mujer, C1113 CABA, Argentina, Buenos Aires
The unique 335-foot pedestrian suspension swing bridge was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava.
Womans bridge, a nice spot to visit at any time, has a really nice view anywhere arround it, and it light on the night,
Beautiful and modern area of Buenos Aires to visit. It’s very brisk in winter though.
beautiful place specially at night
Beautiful way to walk. There are many bars and places to eat as well.
Beautiful place! Buenos Aires and especially Puerto Madero is a beautiful place to visit.
Amazing bridge! The location, the view, the whole thing is just surreal, a perfect landscape for a photo shooting, either professional or just cellphone photos for your social networks. Beautiful view and even a better place to visit.
Full of life, the city at its most! Beautiful place to be with friends, family and enjoy
Such a beautiful place. Cozy, lots of bars around. Nice to stick around and enjoy the sunset by the water.
Beautiful Buenos Aires landmark. It was even more gorgeous with the full moon above. Love the ambience
Beautiful bridge , lots of restaurants on both sides , very nice view 👌
this iconic place in Buenos Aires will amaze you in any season and at any time of day/ night. great for a relaxing walk but also for outing in search of fun atmospheres, full of restaurants, and well attended, recommended for everyone, personali I prefer it either at sunset or at dawn.
Under renovation right now so no crossing posible! Waiting untill its fresh new!
Very cool place to see!!In itself, the Womans Bridge is impressive, and worth seeing. And, one should note the important history behind its construction. However, there is also a bunch to see and do in the area. There are a number of great parks, local art, fountains, restaurants and shopping.
Great views over Puerto Madero
Great place with great restaurants nearby. bring a lock to place on the bridge to honor a loved one
A beautiful spot to visit if you are a tourist walking around in Buenos Aires. I recommend visit it on sunset time to enjoy all the landscape
Buenos Aires Puerto Madero district of sleek glass highrise boasts an architectural fulcrum in the Puente de la Mujer, a practical junction across an extensive water barrier. This is Buenos Aires Millenium Bridge, where dog walkers meet tourists and local businessmen.
The picture speaks for itself, dont you think? This is a beautiful magical place, suitable for any occasion, whether is a night with friends, or to take a relaxing walk around with your significant other. Its just beautifully perfect ✨.
A good place to take a walk or run. The are many restaurants and bars to choose. In the night the whole place changes, the lights makes sense.
A rotating footbridge which provides plenty of photo opportunities in the new coastal area of Buenos Aires.A nice place to wander around. Very clean and safe.
The design of The Puente de la Mujer - The Womans Bridge resembles a movement in a tango dance. The 128 foot arm resembles the man when a couple is in mid tango. Twenty engines rotate to allow watercraft to go through. It was made in Spain and shipped for assembly in Buenos Aires.
It is romantic beautifull place with a lot of bars and restaurants..however be aware of fake money around especially taxi drivers and in the bars and small shops.
One of the most iconic places in Buenos Aires beautiful!!
A few waterside restaurants and an interesting sailing ship (now floating museumnearby. Worth a visit if near and you have an hour or so to spend.
We visited in October 2019, both during the day and on a couple of evenings during our stay in BA. This area has been very well regenerated, lovely walkways down the side of the old docks with some really nice restaurants, the stunning bridge is a central crossing point and a great architectural feature to this area. We enjoyed meals at a couple of these restaurants and a few beers at The Hard Rock Cafe! Felt safe during our evening strolls but I wouldnt want to walk it too late at night.
This bridge is just amazing, not only its design and built its atypical but it rotates to let the boats pass.
Lugar hermoso. Beautiful place must see
Wow what a wonderful place. Spent new year eve here. It was full fun. You can roam take a walk and also take a tour .
Its a bridge on river in water you can also see a huge navy boat museum. Long walking path and few food outlets also there.
We visited in November and it was a beautiful sight. We visited in the evening and the view of the bridge was amazing. So beautifully lit up. Visit in the evening and you wont be disappointed
Great ambience. A design and suspension system Ive never seen before. Simply beautiful
Nice spot to get pics and views of Puerto Madero. Designed by the renowned Spanish architect, Santiago Calatrava.
The bridge is an interesting feature of the area. You can get some of the most breathtaking pics on this bridge. The area is simply magical with tons of places to grab something to eat. You can walk across to the other side of the road to have a good view of the city and the river. Very touristy though!
Great tourist spot. You can get some of the most breathtaking pics on this bridge!
Worth to visit. Jus 10peso is the entrance fee, it would worth 8USD.
Puente de la mujer is one of the cool sights to visit in Buenos Aires. There are lots of cool bars and restaurants in the neighborhood to visit and take in the sights and sounds.
Awesome! Great design and the whole place is wonderful, architecture is greatly integrated in the space. The area is simply magical with tons of places to grab something to eat. A bit pricey but worth it
Beautiful landmark, Puerto madero Is always a nice visit.
Very beautiful place, best to go at nights. There are restaurants nearby where you could eat while having a great view to the bridge.
PTO Madero is a must if you come to argentina, there are plenty of great rest. And bars + it is very safe
Visiting Puerto Madero is a must if you’re in Buenos Aires. In summer it can be a little uncomfortable, as there’s no shadow and sun can be dangerous. Nevertheless, if you can visit this place in spring or fall, then the weather will probably be perfect.Puente de la Mujer is not an amazing sculpture, but it’s definitely worth visiting. Puerto Madero is a very relaxing place, where you also have the chance to have lunch or dinner, or just have a drink. If you enjoy running, Puerto Madero is a must, as you’ll have a great landscape to enjoy while running. It’s definitely worth it. Give it a try!
A special and unique monument of BA, a Calatrava bridge that everyone must walk.
Puerto Madero is a revamped dockside area. Its converted redbrick buildings contain upscale steakhouses popular with tourists and business lunchers. Sleek skyscrapers house multinational corporations and high-value apartments. Trails loop around several lakes at the wildlife-rich Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve, which draws families and joggers. Spanning the docks, Puente de la Mujer is a graceful suspension bridge.
Really cool bridge. You can walk across to the other side of the road to have a good view of the city and the river. They called it the woman bridge. I am sure there is a history around this but I didnt get a chance to read into it. Come here for sunset the view is beautiful.
Very pretty for getting fotos. The puente was under construction so I wasnt able to go across it but the view was still nice. Close by it a museum ship that used to transport goods from all across the world. Also the mercado del puerto. Mostly a night life area. There is also a Tourist Shopping Tour buy souvenirs and a few other statues.
Nice bridge overall, its worth a visit especially at night, where the lights create wonderful reflections on Rio Dique. The surroundings are the most modern district of Buenos Aires, and there are some nice skyscrapers and streets. The walk along the shore is full of music and people during the summer nights.
A beautiful place in Argentina which makes for a wonderful backdrop while strolling with a loved one or friends discussing life. Highly suggest walking along the bridge and enjoying a cafe or meal at one of the nearby restaurants and cafes.
Honestly, its an okay place. Its beautiful, but if youve traveled around its probably not gonna impress you that much. Id still recommend the visit for tourists. The bridge is surrounded by nice restaurants.
Im not a big fan of Buenos Aires, too chaotic, too big with way too many people and (in my modest opiniona lack of interesting things to see (physical things to see, the city is rich of history). The Puerto Madero district, though (together with La Boca and the colossal Teatro Colón), is a very nice area of the city, with its modern architecture, tall skyscrapers, the waterfront and the famous Puente de La Mujer (Spanish for Woman´s Bridge).According to its architect, the Spanish Santiago Calatrava, the bridge is (Wikipedia quotea "synthesis of the image of a couple dancing the tango".For those who like visiting museums, next to the bridge there´s the Museum Ship Presidente Sarmiento, where one can learn more about Argentina and its navy.Overall, a walking in Puerto Madero is definitely a pleasant experience.
Beautiful bridge in an urban renewal zone that attracts lots of locals to walk along both sides of the old harbor. Bridge stands out as a striking piece of art and architecture while being 100 percent functional as a pedestrian foot bridge connecting the two sides of the harbor.
