Nice
Fantastic and beautiful spot. Sadly some bloke in red flanny and blue F100. Was pig hunting close by kept shinning the headlights on us while we were trying to sleep.
Awsome spot
Mick Taylor wants to know your location!
We left our caravan in Halls Creek for a night just so we could make an early trip to the crater! It is an easy drive in which is dusty but not so corrugated, we did let our tyres down before we left for an easy ride. There was a few gates you had to open to get in to the NP so make sure you close them. The walk was lovely and so unique, it is a very easy rim walk that is just over 3 km, you will see heaps of lizards. If you haven’t been we would definitely recommend going to tick it off your list.“Jonique Life”Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.
Horrible. Went with me 10 kids to show them what a meteor crate is like. Our car ended up breaking down and before we knew it we were held hostage by a truckie. This place won’t be receiving my valentines gifts anytime soon 🤬🤬
Nice place
Moi jaurais pas confiance d y aller là-bas en voyant les films Wolfe Creek 1&2
Dangerous place, like a movie and TV Series from true Story.
Beautiful spot to take the family! I took the missus down there and we set up camp for the night till we were greeted by a dude in a blue truck who calls himself mickA true blue Aussie and offered us to stay at his shack the missus said it was a little scary but lovely experience
Certainly something a bit different, pity about the road
Nice camping area well preserved crater
Went here for a day hike with a couple of sheilas but me car broke down at sunset. Met a nice guy named Mick, I said to the man are you trying to tempt me ? And he said "I come from the land of plenty"Went back to his house, had some vegimite sandwiches and danced with Russell Coight.
Un lieu mémorable, la route pour y accéder est incroyable bien que cabossée. Il est possible de dormir en van sur place et la vue depuis le haut du cratère est à couper le souffle
Well worth the effort
Good place to visit, Uncle Mick show me around the place.Might visit again.
Went to see the crater, didnt see Mike Taylor or Mick Jagger. 0/10
Just wanted to say the road is fine, I was travelling 100km most of the way from Halls Creek. It does get a little corrugated after the turn off for the 20km trip but I have seen worse. They must of fixed it after the rain season. The Crater is awe inspiring and stretches your imagination, I did the sunrise walk around the rim which took 1.5 hours as its 1km in diameter and it was spectacular.
Lovely place. Had car troubles but ran into a nice fella named Mick who is helping me fix me car.. Hes taking me to his place now to get a part.. people are so lovely up here.
We arrived at the wolf creek crater and hiked all round it. Lovely spot. We stayed for about 3 hours. I noticed when we got back to the car our watches had stopped and the car wouldn’t start. So we had no choice but to sleep until help arrived. Then after a couple hours later we noticed a blue truck driving our way. A nice man (real Aussie characternamed mick helped us out! He couldn’t fix our car there and then because he didn’t have the tools to fix the coil in our car. So mick was kind enough to to tow us back to his camp and he said he’d fix it for free! 3 hours later we arrived at Micks camp and he gave us some fresh water to drink (He said was rain water from the top end). Anyways cut a long story short not long after that we all fell asleep while Mick went off to fix our car. 3 weeks later I’m still waiting to be found!
Awesome
This place is beautifulDont leave your car or anything electrical with a battery there for longIm guessing that the magnetic fields in the area just kill batteriesBut I the viewThe landscape, nature and nothingness is an experience

Cool
love the central vastness of inland Australia, wolfe Creek is an amazing crater and so much magical feelings of awesomeness out there
Looking cool
love it
Be careful from Mick Taylor !!!! 😈
Ive already rated this place under another Google maps Wolf Creek Crater pin name.
Great place to meet backpackers from overseas
The vegetation is more alive where the meteorite fell
PRETTY LITTTTT
The crater is huge. Pretty incredible to see in person. A must see after the movies and just mind blowing that something fell out of the sky to cause it. you can actually find rocks from the meteorite scattered around the site.It is obvious which are parts from the meteorite as they are quite clearly melted in parts. The camp site is also nice with plenty of room and some decent toilets. Only criticism of the place is only really how shockingly corrugated the road is on the way in. To be expected though! All part of the adventure
ran into an old man called Mick, he had a blue car and some red liquid dripping off it. So I questioned him about and he said he skinned some pigs, so I went around the back to check it out and saw a bit of a blue uniform hanging off body which was hanging off the hook. really freaked me out a bit but i left Mick too it because when he wasnt looking i slashed his tire with my knife in my hand as ive seen this too many times and i know the ending aka i die. Anyway, i left him too it and hope to never see him again...
The best place in my life, but drive 4WD is best way to go.I used normal car spend 8hr for 120km.
Its so embarrassed for a big country like Australia have the second biggest crater in the world and dont have a normal road to go there. If you like to go there be ready to destroy your car with a bumpsy road full of rocks and stones.
Go there free camping self contained didn’t see Mick Taylor
