Compact counter-serve eatery with made-to-order stir-fries, including vegan & vegetarian options.
Honestly these guys think they can serve anything to anyone they deem drunk on a night out. Im sorry but I ordered plain egg noodles with chicken and little spicy along my 4 friends who had the same order. Also the management there on 31st October 2022 does need to be re-evaluated because they dont seem to cater towards allergies and thats why I only wanted plain noodles with a bit of spice. Honestly wouldnt recommend going here unless you want your whole body to be full of rashes and red marks in the morning. In the end the food was given to the homeless outside the casino as it was inedible.
Pad Thai absolutely delicious..bit crowded inside getting a seat(sthat is the only drawback
WARNING - CHECK AMOUNT BEFORE PAYING.I was nearly charged £18.50 for a box of noodles and chicken, if i hadnt checked the amount before hand. The lady who severed me laughed and said was a mistake - im not buying this. Its happened to a few of my work colleges in recent weeks also, one of which was charged £20+ for a box of noodles. Makes you think how times theyve gotten away with this.A lot of the footfall in the area are tourists who probably dont fully understand the conversion rates or super busy city workers who just flash their card at machines without looking... basically easy targets. Its a shame because the food is good, thats why its 2 stars not 1. A box of chicken noddles should cost in the reign of £8-£9 (with drinkFYI. Ill be contacting W2W head office regarding this.
The food was burnt the stuff was really rude the lady that serve me was horribly rude and the food was burnt disgusting
Absolutely delicious. Stopped by for a late night meal during our visit from Texas, will definitely be back before our trip is over.Edit: Came back twice more before heading back home, was equally delicious each time! Cheers to the staff.
I get the whole grain rice with chicken or beef and Beijing sauce and it’s amazing. I am always happy with the service. staff is kind and helpful.
It was fine. 2.45 for broccoli, which is double the price of the tofu, was a shock. More expensive than I anticipated and not particularly clean or tasty.
I ordered takeout. arrived home I realized it was not my order. completely wrong. In addition I found inside a piece of egg shell and the broccoli were not there as ordered. I asked for the hot sauce on the side but they put it inside. I’ll never come again
Some of the best Asian food in all of London. This location can be extremely busy in the daytime. they put magic in vegetable stirfry. Don’t forget the sweet-and-sour Hong Kong sauce! Very friendly staff. Close the public transportation.
I told the cashier around 3 times im vegan and he just didnt write it on the order card so i got egg noodles on my rice noodles and tofu, when i explained the situation the workers said because its not written on the order we cant refund or make you a new one so i just threw it away plus i ate some tofus and i think it was bad and out of date, overall really bad experience
Fast and easy food choices! You can see how they make you’re food. Good customer service and staff members always smiling!
This place is a stones throw from Leicester Square tube station and quite busy. A few table benches inside and about 3 or 4 tables outside so you might be lucky to get a seat. Me and hubby ordered the chicken stir fry (chicken is halal). I ordered the garlic and pepper flavour but sadly didnt enjoy it as firstly, the chicken had a weird soft texture and secondly the flavour was just too peppery. By the time we got home, my stomach was extremely upset and dont really need to explain rest but lets just say I dont think Ill be visiting that place again. Cost approx £9 each box.
The food really is good but the space you have to sit is really tight - I cant see anyone being able to walk and eat food with chopsticks.
What kind of staff are y recruiting??? I go to ask about delivery he ignores me completely. Why y keep staff who does not likes customers or to talk. He is Asian and was at the express wok to walk. 5 minutes later u ask again and someone says 7 minutes more. You have to beg for an answer. I find it A discrimination to drivers a careless for drivers but specially for customers at home. Do not ask delivery from them. Deliveries are neglected in the balcony getting colder. If yr delivery gets more than 15 minutes cancel it show ur unsatisfaction. All apps have option to cancel a delivery and u should do it!2 years going there and it’s always the same or worst like today.Boicot deliveries from them it just easy. That’s why I never ever ever order or will order with them.
I think it used to be nicer, but the quality and quantity have both declined. Its also really not cheap anymore, as it used to be. I usually try the simple rice noodles without meat, which is decent. But every time I tried the ones from Express, theyve been mediocre to horrible, plus really expensive.Pad Thai and Donburi were very average, Mongolian beef was basically just meat and rice, very small quantity, 10.5 pounds (!), and the beef was basically burnt. Shame, cause it used to be one of the best cheap eats in central London. In any case, avoid the Express shop on the left. Really not worth it.
Unfortunately 12£ wasted as the food really truly tasted moldy. Maybe it was just one ingredient, but after they were all cooked together, it was impossible to continue eating it (for reference I got jasmine rice, pulled beef, broccoli and bean sprouts). It ended up in the garbage.
Very upset, asked for a plain noodle box for a baby...25 min after, they still didnt prepare it...and the girl rudely ignored us after we asked three times for the food. She kept asking if we wanted egg ones ...even if we answered her before. We go to pick the food thinking its ready ..then she asks if we want eggs! Shameful! Never back here! We all ate but the baby didnt get anything.
Worst food Ive ever eaten. Bad quality, bad service, high price and very dirty place! Never again! Looking for dirty food with possible food poisoning... thats the place 🤢🤮
Excellent, fresh, flavoursome food, cooked to order. There is limited indoor & streetside dining if you dont want to take-out, but its a pretty noisy environment. To be honest, the good quality/quantity of the food and my hunger more than offset the traffic noise even on a Underground Strike day!
Wok to walk is always my go to in west london. Only criticism i have is the man taking the order didnt have great understanding of English but we got there in the end !! Lovely service, lovely food !!!
Must try if you like good quality, tasty, freshly made, well served, customisable fast food served in the heart of London. Lots of options to choose from, including veg, and food is made in front of you. Never seen long queues, but never seen it empty either. Location is super convenient and the shop remains open till quite late.
Front cookingChefs freshly prepare a dish in front of the guests eyes.
Fab food every time. Always a good meal here. Fresh ingredients cooked in front of you. The taste is amazing. First tried Wok To Walk in Amsterdam and always pop in if theres one nearby. Would definitely recommend to anyone whos tried it before, or hasnt.
One of the only places open after I finish work, and the guy on duty was really friendly and efficient, didn’t get his name :( . I got the pad thai and it was so delicious, just what I needed. I’m definitely coming back
I went there after I spent a night out with friends drinking. I was a bit hungry and I decided to eat something, I took chicken pad Thai and it wasnt bad at all. The guy cools the food in front of you. I was happy with it
Absolutely delicious! And very good price for the food. Very filling! A bit small tho if you want to sit and eat, can be a bit awkward to queu for your order when its really busy. Now my goto when Im in Leicester Square area.
Garlic sauce is wonderful. If you are vegan make sure to say no egg with the noodles. Great staff.
the place smells nice and im sure the food is tasty (maybe a little on the expensive sidebut the staff there are very rude to customers. they even raised their voices at me and my friends. on top of that, hygiene was low as only some of the staff wore gloves and the wok was not clean. Unfortunately we wont be going there again.
Staff lied about the food being halal to us, we were told if we ordered a chicken dish it would be halal. When the food was ordered and being made we could see it was being cooked in the same pan as they had just cooked pork in without cleaning in between. When trying to resolve this with the staff, expecting a simple refund at best, they were not only unhelpful, and instead were extremely rude, argued with us, and raised their voices at us. Claiming that it was halal and they had washed it, despite us being very clearly able to see the people cooking and them NOT washing the pan between orders (not only an issue for people who have dietary requirements, but also just plain disgusting for anyone eating food). This is extremely disappointing behaviour from a restaurant that seemingly has such good reviews. The staff are absolutely awful and have no place being in service. Absolutely disgusted and will never return here. I sincerely hope you can fix these issues and train your staff to treat customers with basic respect and decency.
We have been a regular customer for some time now and its always been spot on and delicious. Yesterday however something has gone wrong. We ordered 2 dishes. One noodles with vegetables and bamboo shoots and the other Pad Thai with no chillies. The noodles came with bamboo shoots and no vegetables and the Pad Thai came with chillies. When I asked the cook about the vegetables he couldnt hear me so I slightly raised my voice and asked again where were the vegetables. The lady behind the counter stepped in and told me to relax and that the vegetables were inside mixed in, even though weve gone through half of the box and there was no sign of them. Poor service and whats most important- unfortunately- food quality going down.
I was in a rush, so I needed to eat something while walking to the meeting. Well, wok to walk is perfect for that. Friendly stuff, quick service and taste as I expected. Really nice! Simple, quick, affordable. Definitely one of my go to choices for a quick lunch.
Tasty food with a lot of variety. A little pricey compared to other fast food places for the amount you get. But still very filling and I’d say it’s probably healthier than most other fast food places (I’m no nutritionist though). Pretty consistent across different branches, would recommend!
Great food. The quantity was enough! The flavours weee awesome. We ordered the udon noodles, rice and the plain noodles… with a mix of teriyaki and schezuan …. Chicken and beef… you can mix and match the flavours there!! Totally worth the amount and I would say one of my favourite places at the moment!!! Tootally would recommend!!! ♥️
Lovely food and quick delivery.Would definitely come here again
🔟/🔟@woktowalk_uk@woktowalk💰£7.55Wok BoxEgg NoodlesMixed VegetablesHalal chickenTokyo sauceVenueYes my foodies went to have a wok box other night, after seeing few reviews I felt I needed to bring the limelight here. for all my 420 followers when in Amsterdam this box is a must trust me!. Been about since I was in high school now they ventured over 5 countries 🥵 that should speak for itself!Wok BoxNow this box very authentic in taste, even in the way it’s made you won’t find inconsistencies with this place as the sauces are logistics made meaning they don’t use ingredients other than approved by @woktowalk to make sure you get that consistent flavour like In Amsterdam. The egg noodles were fresh and it too thick which was perfect for me 🙌🏾. The mixed veg wow once tossed in the wok it’s given this flamed flavours indescribable , the bean shoots and the carrots it all gets a chargrilled taste and with the crunch it’s perfect with the noodles! The chicken had a distinctive taste I’m guessing in house marinated or something was really nice and halal!. The Tokyo sauce is a chilli mild taste flavour like a chow mein but with few extra flavours 🙌🏾.OverallI enjoyed my experience as the wokkers tossed them woks and made magic happen an experience to taste and remember when in Leicester Square 💯FOLLOW ME FOR MORE FOOD REVIEWS AND SNACK REVIEWS@badmanfoodie@badmansnackreviews...#woktowalk#londonfood#londonfoodies#foodcommunity#foodbloggersuk#halaluk#halaleats#centrallondon#londoneats#wokbox#halalchinesefood
Exceptional customer service , with really good high quality food. Definitely my go to place after a night out, Zee and Shahad and AJ were really welcoming and provided us with a great costumer experi nce, definitely i will come back , the food was delicious !
Food is so delicious for such a small place you would think is just for a quick bite or fast food. The variety of choices to the flavours of the sauce you select is so good and satisfying when you are hungry travelling through the city. Only critique is that the place is too small and it is hard to get a seat to eat.
I ordered a vegan/gluten-free order and received noodles with gluten. Thankfully I noticed it before I tried it as I have severe gluten intolerance. After telling the staff I was made a new portion but this time it had eggs in it. Which I had a bite before noticing despite being strictly vegan for 12 years. I understand mistakes happen but it was twice in a row so I asked for my money back but staff refused to do that and insisted on making me the third meal. This time it was right and the food tasted good, but there was barely any apology, and my "fast food" dinner took around an hour.
Love how you can customise your box. The staff were friendly. Great and fast service! Noodles was delicious and packed full of flavours 😍👌🏼
The food was fine but the staff are so rude! There wasn’t even a tone of friendliness and they were almost stone faced making it an unpleasant experience for us. The food was fine and nothing much to comment on the taste. Wouldn’t recommend this place
Always favourite place for quick and super delicious asian food! I like the customize choices customers can have! Plenty of options for additional ingredients. Fast and friendly service.
Good 🍜 food on the go.Found it not as salty as most noodle places which is a good start.Portion was just about right for me but maybe a bit too much for 9pm meal though ;It was hard to resist and not finish it, yes 😋😋All prepared right there and then but it left me a bit disappointed with the spiciness - was expecting more "fire" from 🌶🌶🌶 Hot Asia sauce. Will be back ;)
Plant base only. Ordered tofu with extra peanut topping... Ermmmm... Cant see any TOFU nor PEANUTS! Leicester Sq branch you SUCKED! Hail to Baker St Branch! Always on the ball, never drops an order.
Crazy busy on a Thursday, but they had it all under control and were working like a machine. The food was fast and delicious. Dont be scared if you see a line out the door of this tiny little spot. They will get you taken care of in short order.
A healthy noodle shop right opposite to Leicester Square. You pick the ingredients and everything is prepared right in front of you. However the price advertised (around £4only includes the noddles. Add an optional choice of protein and veg (shown belowand it adds to around £7. There isn’t much space to sit inside so may need to wait a few minutes or takeaway. The portion size I had was was quite filling.
Good location and food is tasty. But it’s rather for takeaway as the store is really really tiny. Workers seemed a bit confused, never received a receipt so receiving the order became confusing. The box seems small but it’s very filling. The more you add, the more your price goes up so you’d expect to pay about £8 when you add 2 toppings. But it’s worth it as they make it really tasty!
I loooveee Wok To Walk Udon with Bali sauce. I used to always ordered Udon with squids, but somehow lately I didn’t see squids from the menu, so I went for shrimps instead. It’s the best place for late and very late dinner. Especially this branch as it’s much quieter than the ones in Argyll street.
Shame it became another western style Asian food :( The taste used to be just like home, now all I can taste is sweet and sour....As a Chinese person, I have to say this kind of food would never be served on table in Asia......Not recommended if you are looking for something truly Asian and tasty. This is just another sweet and sour so-called Chinese buffet you can find in every street corner.
The choices are limitless and it depends on you on whether you make the dish just about okay or super delicious.... If you are unsure I suggest you go with the standard options...What impressed me the most was the cleanliness... Spot on and 1 extra star for that...
A very small fast food restaurant. It serves Asian noodles. The food quality was average and the taste was so special for me. The ToFu was not fresh enough and was a little bit sour. It is also expensive for me to spend £10 to have this noodles.
