Wok In - Asian restaurant in Wangaratta, Australia
We ate in and ordered Beef Rendang, Thai Fried Rice and Chilli Basil Prawns. The food was authentic, delicious and well presented. The service was great and the ambience worked nicely
Probably the best Mongolian lamb that I have ever had and I lived in Asia for 3 years. Absolutely 5 star in every aspect. Highly recommend.
Great spring rolls and noodles
One of the best Asian restaurants in regional Victoria! Ordered Singapore noodle and was delicious :)
The reviews are correct. Fried rice is perfect, Szechuan beef and terriaki chicken beautiful, honey chicken nice and crunchy. Great meals. Thank you
Very good Asian takeaway restaurant with a few tables also for indoor eating. Rare to find such authentic Asian food outside the big city, even got the thumbs up from my picky Chinese wife! Mi Goreng, Kuai Teow and Singapore Noodles were nice, and the Pad Thai our favourite. Prices also very reasonable. Thanks!
My wife liked the food, I didnt find it that good or value for money.
rice was delicious, also had beef n black bean with was yummy
Perfect food. Good value.
Very nice lunch
Always a great experience. From delicious food to excellent customer service. The Laksa is certainly a favourite!
Amazing food, cooked fresh and taste the best.
The Singapore noodles are amazing
Food here is very tasty. Would high recommend.
We decided to dine in tonight in this small, clean takeaway place. Service was quick as we got there just in time. The phone was ringing with many takeaway orders. At times, small queues formed inside. Food is reasonably priced, with a simple menu. Their side chilli is hot. The staff was friendly.
Surprised to find a good Asian restaurant here. Weve tried the Kway Teow as per many reviews here. Its nice but I think I preferred the Nasi Goreng (but probably would be better minus the peanut sauce on the satay. Or at least have it separate from the rice).Btw when we ordered the kway teow for take away, it looked pretty small in the takeaway box. However it filled a medium sized bowl. Pretty pleased with that.Definitely worth coming if you feel like some Asian food.
Great food at great prices. The crispy wontons are so good, and the honey chicken and rendang as well. Huge range of dishes from all over Asia, love it!
Great food love the Singapore noodles and at 13$ cant go wrong of ya hungry.dont worry if you dont like spicy food theres plenty on the menu for you too.quick service as well only took 5 minutes phone orders welcome too...
Great foods and great service.Definitely will come back.
A great little find. Authentic tasting char Kuay teow in a regional town! We had the Penang Fried Kuay Teow, Mi Goreng and Thai Fried Rice and I must say, great tasting dishes! Better than many I’ve had in melbourne!
Quick friendly service and many tasty dishes
Impressed by Char Kuey Tiaw!!! Generous portion, a lot of chinese sausage and prawn. Spicy and delicious as I expected. Nasi Goreng was okay, the satay little bit dry but still recommended!!! Super fast service on lunch time.
The best food. Congratulations guys you were so full on there and you were smashing the orders out well done .💯
Delicious!! Fresh produce and friendly staff will definitely be back soon!
Food is good. Pad Thai very yummy. Peanut sauce delish on the chicken skewers. Pumplings pretty good. Better hot so suggest eating these straight away. Maybe sneak these in before you drive home. The wait was as expected. The shop small and maybe best to have seating out the front to help with distancing. Staff were good. School students serving and a buzz of cooks and prep staff out the back. Over all good experiences.
Best value wok joint around food is high quality 👌
Better than Maccas any day and alot more healthier cheaper to just better overall than the usual junk food out there even better than a Kebab 👌
Tastes really authentic and really cheap. I came at 1o clock during a week day and my food came really quick. 10/10 would come again.
Review by Singaporean and Malaysia who stumbled into the shop and ordered our Penang Kway teow. Authentic and wok-hei enough. Love to have a choice of more spicy. Likely will be our go to place every time we visit Wangaratta.
Visit every time Im home. Have not been disappointed with the food
Visited Wok In for takeaway after seeing Google reviews. Prices are excellent and good variety of meals. Busy place on a Saturday night, we had a 30 minute wait time - so I advise to phone your order through!
food is better than in Asia. I have not tasted better food than this in Vietnam, Thailand or Singapore. In fact it is better than all of these places.Their curries are incredible.
The best ASIAN FUSION in town! The best go to take away in Wangaratta!! I recommend the Pad Thai, Nasi Goreng, chicken skewers, and Laksa soup!! Writting this is making me crave for a Nasi Goreng.
I really love this place! The food is great and well-priced. I love the $10 rice and pork dish for takeaway.
Never go here I ordered 2 terayki combinations and chicken skewers and 2 cokes gave 50 cash got 5 and some coins in change I got home no skewers I called up they denied I ordered them and said I only paid 32.40 I should have got 17.60 change but didnt also poor customer service and lack of space flavouring : UPDATE the refunded my change after I messaged them on facebook
The BEST place for a quick and tasty lunch in Wangaratta. Amazing food, lots of veggies, so yummy. Can recommend the satay! Its a bargain too. Freshly prepared noodle dishes for $12! Crazy.
Tonight we decided to try wok In for dinner. After being told that our takeaway wait time was 30 mins, which was fair considering it was busy turned out to take just under an hour, with no regular time updates from staff and being lied to basically! Being told it will be 2 more minutes and waiting a further 10 mins at a time! Our overall experience with Wok In was not a great one.I hope your employer / employers can work on communication skills with customers and their co-workers.Thanks
Excellent food, happy to spend money here every week. Great service!
Pretty good flavours. Wouldnt say that the portions were large, good for a quick lunch that isnt too heavy but if you are Travelodge youll need two dishes. Friendly staff. Small-ish venue. Wheelchair accessible. Childrens high chair is available. No restroom facilities on site, its in the public carpark behind the store. Large fridge with soft drinks. Street parking in front or behind the shop.
Went here to get some Takeaway dinner and straight off the bat the service was friendly and quick. The food was made to order so when we got it it nice and fresh. I got a Char kwai teow and my partner made her own noodle dish. We also got some spring rolls and chicken skewers. The food did not disappoint great portion size my partner ended up splitting her left over 2 small lunch boxes.
Pretty decent taste for Asian food all the way in woop woop.If you live locally, highly recommend. It’s fairly close to how locals would have it.Price is also decent with fast service.
Fast and friendly service. Very reasonable prices. Ordered a Nasi Goreng, but it came with two chicken satay skewers. Plenty of prawns. Asked for spicy, but was only medium spicy. Popular place.
Great food, staff all friendly and for a post snow feed they prepared the meal fast! Pad Thai has lots of prawns!!
Good take away place. Nice customer service while the food was prepared fast and taste delicious.
Beef rendang was very tender and tasty. The barramundi in Szechuan sauce with vegetables was also good. Servings are large, service is fast and prices reasonable.
Love Wok In. Always quick and fresh meals. Have never had to wait more than a few minutes for meals and have never had any issues with anything Ive ordered. Best picks are the Dumplings, Nasi Goreng and Honey Chicken. The satay skewers are pretty amazing as well.
Good to see the old Pizza Hut location is serving food for the good people of Wangaratta and surrounds. Totally different fare but thats okay.
Great place to eat, excellent food and reasonably priced.Have eaten here several times and it’s always been very good.
Every time I eat here I leave completely satisfied. It’s by far my favourite place to eat in Wangaratta. Keep up the fantastic work :)
Im an indonesian and my partner and I were on the way driving down from sydney to melbourne when we stumbled this little asian take away place called Wok In. Being a snobby foodie that I am, I lowered my expectation by a few notches. I ordered the indonesian mie goreng and my partner ordered the Penang char kuay teow. To our pleasant surprise both dishes exceeded our expectation and more. The indonesian mie goreng was authentic and delicious and the Penang char kuay teow was about 8/10 compared to the original dish in Penang. So definitely recommended place to eat if youre in the area. Keep it up!
