Wintersun Caravan and Tourist Park in Carnarvon

Beautiful park with clean ammenities. The staff are very friendly and we enjoyed our stay with our two doggies. They had an enclosed off lead area which was really nice for the dogs to have a run around after so much driving :)

Dont stop on carnarvon they said... but so glad we did .. fantastic park... great facilities.. and for 2 nights you wont beat it. Lovely.. thank you. Ps..choc bananas just up the road not to be missed.

Great place with awesome friendly staff, this place has alot going for it with bands at night and a food truck onsite. Clean amenities, we will be back.

If you havent already been here do yourself a favour and go. What a little gem this park is. They have an artist playing in the rec room from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. AMAZING talent!A food truck with Asian food comes and you can treat yourself to a Chinese meal. The owners and staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Thankyou Wintersun caravan park.

Pleasant, Peaceful and PristineSuper clean amenities, big spaces with grass and very flat, not so windy in our roof tent, had everything you needed in the kitchen. Taps and drain outside. Had a great sleep. The hosts were super welcoming and lovely 😊.

Great place to stay. The cabins are comfortable and well equipped. Staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Great Park with large sites and good amenities. After coming every year for the last 8 or 9 years found the price increase disappointing. Paid $17 more this year for the same site as last year. Stayed 38 nights but werent offered any discount for length of stay or loyalty. Dogs also becoming a problem. Owners who have no qualms about where they do there business.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the winter sun caravan park Canarvon. The grounds and amenities where immaculate. The staff where very kind and helpful. I would recommend anyone to stay there.

Great caravan park. Our site was wide and long. We had plenty of space. A nice touch after a long drive us having a staff member guide you in to park your caravan - no fighting involved!! It has a small pool, a small playground and a jumping pillow. The pie cart was excellent. It was quiet. About 5 minutes out of town. Facilities were good and ample.

Ive been to many caravan sites here and abroad, this is one of the best Ive stayed at. Everything from staff at reception and groundsman to the very clean showers and toilets.Large sites, a good camp kitchen and pool. Very good laundries.The lay out is good. Has concrete pad on ya site to set your annex over.Its a clean caravan park no matter where you walk.Definitely staying here again when passing or staying in Canarvan.

Wintersun is our favourite CP in Carnarvon, So quiet ,i always sleep so well .Office Staff always friendly & helpful , Park staff assist in reversing into site rtc , everything is hassle free, even what to cook for dinner because they have different meal nights , ie Spudnight , Roast roll.night etc , abultions older but perfectly clean & maintained, Fresh fruit/veg stall is also a big plus.

One of the cleanest and friendliest parks we’ve been to and was perfect for a couple of night stopover to explore Carnarvon. Would definitely recommend and I’m sure we’ll be back!

A great park. Facilities are excellent. Spacious flat sites not far from town. Very welcoming staff assisting in any ways to make your stay easy. Good play equipment for the young kids as well. Recommend this park.

Top spot! Staff are friendly & helpful, amenities very good, and caravan sites generous. Camp kitchen needs an upgrade. Loved the entertainment and food nites on offer! Well be back!

We really liked this Caravan Park. From the friendly smile & greeting on arrival until we left. The park had a really nice feel to it. Big tidy sites, good clean amenities & even a grass lawn bowling green for use of guests. You can hire equipment if you want to play. Very good live music also.

Great caravan park! Stayed in the cabin and the room was nice. Ablution block was big and the park is well laid out

Had too wait for the two older ladies to finish their conversation before they even bothered to look up. After which I was met with a bad attitude anyway, unacceptably poor customer service. Common courtesy is a minimum requirement. Do yourself a favour go to BIG 4 down the road much better.

A large Caravan Park which was nearly full during our stay. Reasonable amenities facilities. Some sites are a tight fit, and many with caravans were given help to get on site. The staff ride around in a very noisy golf cart, which doesnt help the ambiance.

Always stay at the Wintersun with my furbabes! Never had an issue - stay in pet-friendly cabin, always clean, good hot water pressure and comfortable bed. Staff are always friendly and very helpful.

Its a shame that we only stayed one night, pie van was there and that was yum!, Showers are clean hot and powerful....the best Ive had on this trip so far!, And nice people.

We had a comfortable stay in one of the cabins. Close to the main highway. A clean caravan park with a pool and kids play area and jumping pillow. Well stay there again on our way back to Perth.

A great caravan park with roomy sites. Nice clean amenities. Visiting food trucks for the appetite and performers for entertainment. Fresh well priced produce for sale outside reception.

Powers sites reasonable size, clean amenities. Food trucks come through on different nights if you dont feel like cooking. Friendly community and staff

Staff were great, even met us at the site and guided us in. Nice caravan park and an enjoyable spot. Had 3 nights as a stop over but could have happily spent a few more days fishing and relaxing.

Great enjoyed the daily bowls not happy that I couldnt use my adult electric scooter, but had a lovely time with family.

Very happy with our stay. The park was very busy and the facilities were first class. We stayed on a level grass site with concrete pad. Watch out for the mozzies, but overall a great park

We have just left after a 2 week stay. We love Wintersun and have chosen to stay here every year for quite a few years now. Sites are grassy and well kept, staff are terrific, amenities are clean and baked spud night is such fun! We had one issue this trip though that will make us think twice about returning. I get that its dog friendly park but there were SO many dogs and we had people close by that allowed their dogs to bark incessantly and it spoilt our enjoyment. We are at a park now further up the coast that has a specific section for dogs and owners. It works well. Could you consider doing that? There are a few others at Wintersun that share this view.

The crew at this park could not have been more friendly or helpful and the facilities are outstanding. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when in Carnarvon. No complaints whatsoever👍👍

I arrived at Wintersun caravan park today, 8 June 2022, after booking a powered site for our tent..It is a stormy afternoon with lots of rain predicted. After arriving, we decided to book a cabin instead.They didnt have any cabins available but all three ladies went out of their way to find us one in Carnarvon..rather than me ringing around at last minute.I was very impressed with their services.Caroline from Gelorup WA. 😊

We loved our stay at Wintersun! Cannot recommend this van park highly enough! The grounds are beautiful - with grassy sites - very dog friendly - and a bowling green! To be right next door to a lovely farm was a treat. Staff were very helpful. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Weve stayed here twice and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The Caravan powered points are very reliable, Showers and toilets is clean and tidy.I recommend you try out the Caravan park.Swimming pool, BBQ and out door cooking area.Staff very friendly.Sorry forgot to take photos. 😅

We stayed here for nearly a month while waiting for unexpected repairs on our car.The park is lovely and well maintained. Lots of trees and green grass.Ablutions are clean and the pool and jumping pillow and kids playground ensure the little ones are happy and entertained.Fantastic staff, everyone very friendly and so helpful. Feels like one big family.Thankyou so much for making our stay so comfortable.We will be back.Glenn and Mel (plus kids and Huskies x2)

My family member stayed here one night with their dog. They arrived later in the day and got terrible customer service. They had asked a question and instead of answering the question they were told that they were fully capable of finding out themselves, so work it out yourself. Considering they were paying good money to stay here, that displays poor customer service. Also, there was a cleaning puddle in the front door area upon entry that must not have been cleaned up properly. It smelt of some cleaning chemicals. It was cleaned up promptly to prevent the dog drinking it. Just imagine if the dog had of consumed that?Also, the locks on the cabin were not secure and anyone could have helped themselves into the cabin through the night. The family member did not feel safe.The reason I am writing this review for them is I am the carer and person that organised this accommodation for them, and they are unable to write this review themselves.

Might have given it more but our neighbours were noisy and rude, they seemed to resent the space we had because we only had a tent, dispite us paying for it.However the facilities were great.

An absolutely wonderful caravan park located just as you enter Carnarvon.The grounds are lush, green with big trees for shade. The amenities are really well maintained and clean. There is a big camp kitchen, pool area and kids playground which is in superb condition. We will definitely be returning next time we head on a northern trip from Perth.

The reception lady is lovely. We arrived after hours and had a great experience, super organised and such a easy process after a long drive!Its a very beautiful caravan park, lots of palm trees and greenery!The kids loved the blow up jumping pillow.Great experience, we will defiantly be back!

Lovely staff, comfortable accommodation but the bathroom smelt when you had a shower, quite badly! We stayed in a chalet. Location was good, near to the main road if your just dropping through on a long journey. The pool was good, nice temperature. Didnt try the bowls unfortunately. Nice clean area.
