Winsford Cross Shopping Centre - Shopping Centre in Runcorn, United Kingdom
Amazing good little shopping centre and FREE parking. Definitely makes a difference to have plenty of parking next to the centre. Thank you Winsford!
We visit here when staying at a local caravan park. Not many shops here now cos some have closed. However, the staff in the shops are all very polite, helpful & friendly.
Good range of shops good free parking around. Could do with a few more and some more covered areas in case of inclement weather
A bit run down. But good non the less!
Awful in every possible sense of the word,
Nice little shopping centre, with some good cafés
Great place, free parking outside and a good selection of shops
Lacking alot of good shops needs updating
More than overdue a makeover which is apparently happening any day soon. However there are some great shops here particularly the butchers and hardware store. Other brands include B&M, Wilkos,Peacocks, Savers, Boots and New Look. You can most of what you need especially if you visit on market days, but not the most extensive ranges. Looking forward to the new centre getting underway.
Looks like a lovely shopping centre Ive really only been into Asda Not many Disabled parking spaces and a few using blue badge spaces werent displaying their blue badges thats the downside of most car parks. Easy accessible shops
So sad alot of places closed and a few that are left got closing down sales sing of the times
Shopping trip ok, had a coffee and toast before we left, reasonable price.
Good range of shops and a big Asda. Easy parking
So sad to see a fire had closed some of the shops
Really needs a lot of work not much shopping. When we first came to live in Winsford 8 years ago was told it was going to have a make over. Needs more than that now.
Good range of shops, clean and bright with free car parking
Google maps needs to do a complete update of the shops in this place. Lots of places are not where the maps say they are.
Very clean and people sociable, well set out.
Needs a lot of improvement but there are still shops to do shopping
Needs a face lift like so many towns!!
It needs more shops and a much needed face lift council.always promise to get this sorted never happened yet we live in hope.
Looking better than it did years ago too many charitie shops
One of the most dated and miserable places Ive visited in a while
Walked thro, friendly place, not been there before, lots of interesting small shops.
Has everything you need for a quick shop. Clean and tidy, shame there is no longer a proper bank in Winsford, the arcade is definitely missing one now theyve all closed down. Easy access to both Asda and Aldi with a great fish and chip shop inside the shopping centre
There is almost nothing there with half of it being knoched down. The majority of shops are charity hand me downs. It also has the Biggest Aldi European Discount Shop in the world. A very depressing Town Center
Beware the LPR camera and times. The system does not work correctly, make sure you take photos of entry and exit times whenever you use the multi storey. The fining company dont care and will not respond to any sort of appeal. As a result of my last fine (wrongly issued but I dont have video evidenceI will no longer use Asda who are responsible for this simple money making scheme - it serves no other purpose.
Good smaller shopping centre with a good range of products available
Needs updating and better range of stores
Quite rundown and definitely in needs of refurbishment. That said it has a decent selection of stores for every day goods.
Biggest problem with the centre are motorist who use the disabled bays, despite not holding a disability, Blue Badge. I would remind these drivers that it is an offence and you can receive points as well as a fine of upto £1000! Winsford Police have been made aware and they are monitoring the bays. Pictures shown are just a sample of drivers using the bays illegally.Decent amount of shops who sell at realistic prices. It just looks a bit dated. Though it is due for a major refurbishment.
Free parking, lovely shops and a bug asda
Lots of variety available, love the new farm foods store
Nipped her whist at Oulton Park for the BSB. 10-15 minutes away. Good choice of shops. What coming off the dual carriageway it is deceiving as you cant see them all.Should be are.to get most things you need. Free parking.
This place is awful unless you are in love with charity and vape shops. At one end there is literally nothing else except a post office that was fully manned (4 or 5 stations from memorybut empty! The other end is probably only saved by Asda although there is a Peacocks as well.It has been a few years since I last visited this centre and I am guessing it will be another few years before I visit it again (despite the ASDA car park being free).
A disgrace to our town. When is the council going to send money in Winsford instead of building space that cant be filled in Northwich.
The best thing about winsford is the fruit and veg stall on the market, the produce is amazing and the prices are so reasonable
The town is lost it sparkle and I born here the town use the center of town and everyone was all chatting and shopping no around anymore very sad
Reasonably small as shopping centres go and parking can be a bit hit and miss. However it still seems to thrive and its great to see small businesses still have a place in towns like Winsford.Would urge everyone to visit and shop local to keep it going.
Not what it used to be in days gone by, full of empty promises & premises! Very sad to see, Build it and they will come, not a term used by our council sadly!
After leaving winsford a good few years ago surprised at only half the shopping centre there, no huntsman etc . But all staff in shops very friendly and security guards smiling and helpful. Good hour spent there
Half the shops are empty and there is certainly no wow factor, but I like it as everything is close together which works when youre in a hurry or steering a wheelchair or pram.
Hardly any shops open looks very dirty and run down and the floors are just full of buckets and wet floor signs because the local council have let it rot better going out of town
Winsford shopping centre is a little run down its got useful shops like Wilko, home bargains, Greggs, shoe zone, newlook and several charity shops. There are other shops too just cant think of them. Free parking if you can find a space. But to the back of the shopping centre there is Asda and it has a multi storey carpark
Looking forward to the promised investment! Its got a few handy shops for bits and pieces currently but no real range so definitely needs the money spent especially given the number of new houses being built.
The security guard today on the shopping centre saying my partner not allowed her guide dog on shopping centre and not listening to us. They needs to learn all guide dogs / assistant dogs are allowed anywhere not very happy.
Very good for saying theres only so many shops open. they are opening so many shelf check out points I can see its going to put many people out of work. Ive always work in retail I always liked the interaction with customers doesnt seem to be any of that anymore i know things are changing not for the better me thinks 😕
Basically dead. No real variety of stores nothing to attract visitors apart from the swimming baths. Lived here 27 years and would move out as soon as I can.
To many charity shops, lack of nice shops. To many empty shops doing absolutely nothing. The part where the memorial stands is far too open and its freezing especially in the winter time. Not enough thought has gone into the town centre its a pity it could of been a thriving, bustling place.
No they have demolished a lot of it, it looks desolate and depressing
