Wingstop in Tacoma

AVOID AT ALL COST! employees yelling at each other, watched 2 of them walk out cursing. Food was cold like it never was cooked.. limp fries. Place was gross, this was our first time at Wing Stop & definitely our last time. Didn’t even end up eating our food because of how unappetizing it was. Homeless man going through the trash can & yelling & the employee told us to ignore him. I really hope that the owners/corporate step in because this place should be closed down.

if you order ahead like 40 mins before when you get there your going have to wait the same amount of time

This is definitely the worst wingstop in Tacoma. Some of the staff are rude, and when I went to this location 2 days ago, my order was messed up. I ordered 3 lemon pepper wings and 3 garlic Parmesan wings, and I received 5 lemon pepper wings and 1 garlic Parmesan wing. I would skip this store and go to the one on S Hosmer instead. My fries weren’t very good either, they didn’t have much seasoning on them and it was overall just a disappointing experience. I hope this place can get some better staff soon.

This was a horrible experience. Although it was ordered online (and yes, I understand that can contribute to the issues), the whole experience was just bad. So first: the fries and corn arrived cold. The cajan corn---dont order this---shriveled is the best way to describe each piece; overcooked and dried out. Maybe they are meant to be like this, but I will never order them again. The chicken sandwich was okay but soggy and smothered in sauce. You dont get to enjoy the flavor of just a little bit of chicken and bun---you are overwhelmed by the intensely flavored sauce the chicken is doused in. My drink wasnt even full to the top, and worst yet, I ordered Orange Fanta but got Strawberry Fanta instead. Lastly---I did mention the order came late. They use Doordash. The Wingstop App said the order had been delivered, but the order didnt arrive for another 30 minutes, which led me to believe it was sent to the wrong address. I called my local Wingstop, only to be put on hold. I decided to call back after being on hold for 15 minutes to end up getting consistent busy signals. I am never going to order from the app again for delivery. Their wings are great----I will give them that, but this time around, the whole dinner was ruined by too many issues all at once. If I could give them 1/6 of a star, I would.

The food was very greasy. The music was to loud.

I just had this for the first time and Im in heaven! The garlic parm and BBQ were epic. Ill be returning for sure.

Rude staff, lack of customer service. Definitely never coming to this location again.

One of the absolute worst experiences at a restaurant I’ve ever had. I waited nearly 50 minutes from the time I ordered until I finally got my food. The employees literally disappeared for 20 minutes. They were rude when I ordered. The phone was ringing off the hook and no one was answering. When I did finally get the food, it was cold and I had to reheat it at home. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here unless you like poor service, waiting, and cold food.

Have always loved this place! Really great boneless wings in a variety of flavors, amazing ranch sauce and well worth the carbs and calories french fries! Actually some of my favorite fries anywhere!!!😋😋😋 But now hold the presses!!! The new sandwiches are worth all the hype they are getting!! Every one Ive tried are no joke fantatic! This is definitely my new addiction! Will be back soon! Sorry no pics ! We gobbled first and forgot yo take pics, sorry!😳😣

I was disrespected when I was asking to receive my order the reasoning is unacceptable I’m not gonna explain my story. Its not worth getting food if the food isn’t made with love what you put in your body is negative energy, I hope they realize one day the wrong person will react differently

The service is spotty, but. Where else you gonna go and get a huge pile of wings, either with bone or without; in a bunch of tasty flavors consistently ?They pretty much fry them to order so be prepared to wait for a bit- but they are worth it!!

Never order online through these guys. It always gets messed up and they never fix the issue for it. ITS NEVER THEIR FAULT if everything doesnt leave yet they have to hand it to the drivers. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERICE WHILE ON THE PHONE

Yo, What is going on??? One of the workers in the back talking about choking another Co worker out and beating their a**. Super disorganized. Had 6 customers in the lobby and one of the older customers had to take charge and make sure everyone was taken care of. I know we are in the middle if a worker crisis but man. Ill welcome the robots if this is the service we are getting.

Our first time having Wingstop. We spent $50. The fries were cold which I called to complain. After they basically acted like I was lying they said they would refund the fries. When I got off the phone I opened the wings and they were ALSO COLD! The order was placed at 1:30 to be delivered at 5 and they tasted like they were prepared at 1:30 and left to sit. We are less than 10 mins from the store. The food shouldn’t have been anywhere near cold. The driver messaged me he was on the way at 4:47 and he got here at 4:58. We are here on business and will NEVER order from this place again. If you want fresh food then order it at the counter because delivery isn’t it..Very unprofessional 👎🏻

I would give -5 stars if I could. Ordered at 1:30 pm for a 5:00 pm delivery. Driver picked it up at 4:47 our hotel is 8 minutes away food arrives cold not hot not room temperature but freaking COLD both the fries and the wings and the driver had our order in an insulated bag. Also no markings to identify what flavor was what so my wife and I had to guess. We called to complain and all they said was they would refund the fries. This was our first time trying Wingstop and I can promise you we will never eat at this location again. Extremely disappointed!!!!! Our food had probably been sitting on a shelf for 4 hours.

I place my order online I wait over 45 minutes for my food I finally get it I come home and realize it’s a wing on a bun I called the store and he tells me that I have to come back to get a refund and wait an hour or he can remake it in an hour that’s not what they advertised but he saying that’s how their sandwiches are… Don’t even bother

Dont go here for lunch! Took 30min to get 10 boneless wings. Then bearly had time to eat them and get back to work.

Very dirty place Every table in this place is sticky .. bathroom is out of order

The wait was crazy long if you just walked in without pre-ordering over the phone, and a homeless person was allowed to come in and smoke a vapor pipe and get a drink from the soda fountain with his own cup, all while Im still waiting for my order. Safe to say I am not going back to the wingstop on 38th street ever again. But the food was good and hot.

Rude nasty employees and upper management takes forever to return calls or get back with the customer about there employee that needs to be fired from working there when it’s a no brainer this location continues to have rude employees and management and the owners of the company knows and do nothing about it 38th street wing stop is horrible and needs to be changed or closed down period

I came here to get food online hrs says open door says reduced hrs 1-9pm this is stupid if want people to buy your product during there lunch most people have to be back at work at 1pm

1ST THING. WOW. THE BEST STAFF, AND THE BEST WINGS. YOU WILL NOT LEAVE HUNGRY. THEIR ATOMIC SAUCE IS NOT A JOKE. FLAVOR MEETS FIRE. MY 8 YEAR OLD SON LOVES THIS PLACE. THE BEST WINGS EVER.

The chicken was so hard very small and the fries was salty and dried up.Prices to high for such poor quality of food.

I have had wing stop wings all over the place because they are always awesome and I love me some wings. I stopped by this hosmer store to bring home wings for the fam. Very very disappointed! The wings had no flavor and no sauce. I got 5 different kinds and literally couldn’t tell which flavor was which, and all the wings were tiny. These were smaller and less than any other store. Domino’s literally are way better and that should tell you something.!!Vert sad

Terrible service and terrible food at this location. We’ve ordered from this place twice, we spend well over $65 each time. They keep screwing up our order. Wrong order the first time, missing items the second time. We called to let them know, no apology, just bring back your order and “we’ll give you a new one”. Yeah, no thanks. I had to recook their soggy wings. This location is trash. Go to the one on Hosmer instead.

We did a walk-in order at 4:45pm I ordered 3pc tender, two 8pc classic’s. Drove all the way back home in Lacey after the end of my day to see the that we we didn’t receive our garlic parmesan crispy wings. So I called the store and spoke to Maurice to let him know we patiently waited and didn’t receive that part of the along w/the fried (should’ve been 3he asked me to hold and came back and said his cook put them in the middle of mango habanero & mild classic. So I move some paper and see what I thought was 8 garlic wings and told him thank you. He just hangs up. I pull them all out and they shorted me on the garlic wings. So I call back and speak to a woman (didn’t catch her nametell her about it and she said there is nothing they can do and that she can give her manager my name and number. I live in Lacey, it’s easier for me to dispute it with my bank and I let her know. It’s unbelievable that you can wait patiently and understand that people are just working in the food industry, so I keep that in mind. Just to be missing 4 wings and some fries and basically it’s a forget you, we got your money oh well. If you like losing money and getting chumped, here’s the place to go. Hopefully the Lakewood location isn’t owned by the same owner.

Trash. Wings were raw. Brought order back for refund. Front staff said manager will call back for refund. He never called. I called a week later he blamed his staff for not giving message. He didn’t know how to do a refund.

The only reason I gave this place 2 stars was because the wings were good even as cold as they were when we got em! First the music was so loud you had to yell to hear anything. And it goes down hill from there. They took our name so we thought someone would call out to let us know it was done we were sitting inside a few feet from the counter, then no napkins you had to pull it off a roll of bathroom paper towels just sitting on the counter. Not really Covid friendly. But after waiting a good 35min. For the food and still had go ask for it, which clearly had been there a while because it was cold and not correct we paid for boneless but got bone in wings but were not too picky and hungry and didnt want to wait again so we ate them and thank God they were good! Flavor was great even cold. Too bad the service was so bad and the floor was so greasy you could fall down if you werent carefull And music was so loud nobody would even know about it because nobody looked beyond the cash register in front of them!

I am a loyal customer. I am from Texas, and have been eating at Wingstop fir more than 15 years. I wanted to commend the team at this location. My husband and I stopped in for dinner and the place was packed. To go orders flying out one after the other. The team was organized, fast, and friendly. Good job guys.

The place smells like old cooking grease and the people behind the counter have absolutely no professional work ethic. I stood in line for 5 minutes somebody walked in behind me to the side they helped him before me, the lady on phone behind the counter, when she got off she just turned around and walked back in the kitchen as if I didnt exist. So I left, not going back.

Was not a fan. Not only did we wait a long time... come to find out our food was on the rack ready and no one called out our names. the wings were not even that good. Wont be returning

worker was rude and food was disgusting. my first time ever trying wingstop and it was a horrible experience. the cashier said she needed my number and name to call me when it was ready so i gave it and she didnt even call i sat in my car for 30 mins and went inside it was just sitting there while she was talking. food was cold and dry, looked like they made it hours ago and i got left overs. never going to any other wingstop after this experience.

Bought some voodoo fries and they were ridiculously over seasoned. We couldn’t even eat them. We called the store to see if we could get on a meal list for next time or a refund, and the manager said we had to bring the food back for any rectification. We informed them that we are 20 mins away and were unable to bring the food back, she said okay well there’s nothing I can do. We asked if we could bring it back tomorrow, and she said no. She said she can pass the information to the regional manager but honestly they won’t do anything if we won’t bring the food back. We asked when we can expect a call, she said she doesn’t know and can’t tell us. We ordered other items and are only complaining about one. If we were trying to “get over”, which was the tone I got from her, don’t you think we would of complained about a lot more?!

This is the second time over ordered at this location and arrived 45 minutes after my order was placed online - and my order still isn’t ready. The app says my order was completed but when I showed up staff said it would be 10 minutes. After going to get a car was and wasting 15 minutes I can back yo be told it will be yet another 10 minutes: it’s now been 1 hour and my small order of 30 wings still isn’t ready. Staff is unapologetic and rude. No responsibility for telling me it would be 10 minutes and to come back later just to be told it will be another 10 minutes. The app says my order was completed 15 minutes ago now. Store is dirty, lobby is still closed for no reason.

This is the first time ive tried Wingstop. I ordered 15 wings...but only received 10😐. The ones i did receive were not good. Some over cooked or perhaps just dry, a few may not have been cooked enough😬. Flavor, not so good either. 15-20min later, i was running to the bathroom😳🤢. Maybe they were too busy to prepare orders/food properly, but needless to say, i wont be ordering from them again.👎☹️

Yeah, this place is trash. Routinely closes early (but DOES NOT update their hours on Google or anywhere else), very dirty, if you order online expect to wait at least 45 minutes PAST your scheduled pickup time.Seriously drive to a different location because Tacoma cant get it together. Your food will be better and you might not have to wait an hour beyond when they tell you itll be ready.

November 29 2021 Horrible customer service, all of the employees are laud and abnoxiou. Using profanity with every sentence they spoke. Not a good place to get food. I will file a complaining to the health department for all the unsanitary things they did when cooking the food. I did not eat my food. It went in the trash. Please dont make the same mistake dont eat at wingstop. I will try to reach the owners and express my disappointment.

WellDone Lemon pepper was fatty with very little seasoning the manager said he cooked them extra already. Even when pre ordered took way to long for over greasy and salty fries. Waited to eat the chicken when at home since they all came in the same box and it was quite messy. Good flavor on the wings but not impressed enough to wait 45+ minutes again.

My first time at wing stop was last night. After 30 min for “naked bone in wings with no sauce” for $12 she said she lost my order. Waited another 20 min for overcooked, stringy dry and hard wings. I called the district manager the next day after Tyler in Tacoma left me on hold and wouldn’t answer. So I called Lakewood and got a refund but when I went back to Tacoma they gave me boneless instead of bone-in and covered them in so much Parmesan cheese that I gave them to a homeless person and he couldn’t eat them either. So I called the district manager at the Lakewood location again and sent her the picture of my wings. These guys are high schoolers who are very vindictive to their customers. I’m never going to another wing stop again. I uploaded the picture. It’s the boneless wings covered in so much parm cheese that they are fully white.If you have issues with this location call the district manager Veronica at Lakewood. She will help you.

Never had the wings from here. Today (at 9:50pm), I attempted to order online, but it only allowed me to place an order for tomorrow. Due to this, I called in to place my order. A lady (who did not provide me with her nameadvised me it was an hour wait; therefore, they are only taking orders online or at walk-in. I mentioned online was only allowing me to place an order for tomorrow. She placed me on hold for a while, then picked up the phone while staying quiet. I said "Hello?" to get a response from her, but got hung up on instead. I called back 4 more times, but got no answer nor did I get a call back. Horrible service! What a bad first impression. Lots of businesses are struggling...employees providing bad/negative customer experience does not help a business thrive.I hope management reads this & educates their staff the importance of providing an excellent customer experience to both internal & external customers to strengthen their brand as a company.Such a shame, I was ordering for a group of people which means this is not only a negative experience for me, but for those who I was ordering for as well.

Veronica the manager first of all asked us to take a photo of our food like we was lying about the food, then we ordered sweet tea and we got unsweetened tea. There Customer service skill is absolutely unexpectable. Not even talking about yesterday when we tried to order they wouldnt take our order because they was short of staff. Hands down Lakewood Wing stop is the best. By the way who is the owner?

Ordered a 50 wing platter tonight with some family. The food was good & fresh, but the service was not the best. There was a chick on her phone the whole time we were waiting. The other chick had an attitude, and was just being so lazy. I wanted to say something but my sister didn’t want me to cause a scene. I must say there was a gentleman working & he was doing all the work. One of the workers was so lazy as she tried to shove our whole order into one pan! Put all our fries in the same bag along with sauces! She was just lazzzzzzzy! If you don’t like your job... Quit!!!!

I always love the food but you need more accurate wait times. I called my order ahead and they said it would be 20-25 minutes i arrived 30 minutes after the call and waited another 45 in store. I saw multiple orders up on the shelf and lots of other people waiting. Another woman walked up from the back and saw that most of those orders on the shelf was for the customers waiting. Seems the guy at the register needs more training in keeping up the pace

Buddy said the wings were great. The boneless didn’t have much meat on them though. More of the crunchy breaded stuff instead of actual meat. The employees were not very professional. Didn’t even let us know about the special they were having on that day. They seemed as if they didn’t want to be there.

Wingstop have awesome wings ranging from the traditional buffalo style to the barbecue.Today we ordered boneless hickory smoked barbecue and buffalo style. I also ordered bone-in lemon pepper wings with extra seasoning and some ranch.The dipping ranch here is by far the best I have ever had in comparison to many other restaurants. If you ever want to just pick up some of this alone its worth it.They have an amazing new buffalo ranch fries is to die for!!! It complements the buffalo style boneless very well.The flavors Cajun rub and popular garlic Parmesan is also well worth trying!The negative part is that you have to be patient to wait on it-which is fine by me.The workers appearance can improve whereas they occasionally looking like covered in sauce. Some locations have workers who needs extensive customer service training. When it gets extremely busy - count on waiting for larger amount of time whereas they can get easily get overwhelmed by customer volume. Therefore, plan ahead so you can beat the lunch rush.

This was the first time I have ever been here and I am so glad I came. They close at 11:00pm and we got in the door at 10:50pm... I didnt realize they stop cooking about 20 min before they close but Patrick made sure we got our order as we wished. Very good customer service. And the wings were great!!! I will continue to come here.
