Working WWII, Cold War & civilian aircraft in a hangar that hosts events such as air & auto shows.
Expensive for thetime spent there would not recomend, also unfriendly person on front desk
The $15 entrance fee seemed steep for what only amounted to a self guided walk around a small hanger to read informational plaques about some of the planes.
Too expensive considering how small it is.
The last CAG-Bird on display....this alone deserves five stars! Felix rules!
if you enjoy history and planes, i recommend coming here.
Its not a good sign when its a Saturday afternoon 2 hours before it close and the parking lot to your museum is mostly empty. This Museum exhibit could profit from investing in some lighting. Also some of the aircraft need to be housed and displayed better it was very cramped. The admission price was $15 but the value for the ticket was about $5 I recommend it in buying a new hanger maybe three hangers of that size to house the aircraft that they need you really cant walk around them I understand that their airworthy aircraft but it looks like somebodys garage or rather somebodys crowded closet than it does a first class Museum
Hate to leave negative reviews but I drove an hour to get here and it just was so not worth it. The F14 is the only cool thing. It is more of an old hanger with about 5 planes more than it is museum. If youre not far, see for yourself
It $15 per adult. It is a small museum. They stopped lecturing after COVID. These days COVID is an excuse to stop services at many places. You can see 10 aircrafts in the garage. It is not worth it unless someone explains the history of aircraft’s.
It is a very interesting place to know about aviation history
Very interesting and quite assorted collection of vintage aircraft, including originals, replicas and scale models under the same roof. Not like a convencional touristic activity, but definitely something to appreciate if you’re into military history. Of course is a little dusty and dark in some areas, maybe is part of the vintage vibe... I would say it can use some improvements in that matter, but other than that I think is worth the $15.Thank you 🙏🏻
Great vintage planes and F14
At first I was excited to come here with my dad. It seemed like a wonderful place however my treatment upon arrival was sub par at best. The website states a 10 dollar fee for adults. We were both charged 15 dollars each after going back and forth arguing with the manager about the price. Also I had to leave my camera in the car because i was told it’s 300 dollars an hour to photograph ubsurd! What are they thinking? The staff working on the airplanes are very friendly and knowledgeable but that’s where the positives end. You can see everything in 5 minutes... everything is covered in thick layers of dust I just would not recommend it.
Unfortunately a very small museum, though it does contain a few very interesting aircrafts.
If you like history and planes, this is a nice place to visit. You can almost travel in time at this location.
Not my favorite museum, doesnt have many planes, they do have lots of model planes. I highly recommend visiting the aviation museum in Layton , Utah, that museum will blow your mind, and its free, you donate if you want.
Nice collection, could help making new photo spots with some planes though.
This was a very small museum. It probably has 12 planes at the most. You can see it in about half an hour. It took me longer to drive there than to see the museum. To me it was a waste of time.
Second time for me, the first time was more amusing since there was an exhibition of custom cars. What I love about this museum is to be so close and be able to touch an F-14 Tomcat. And then all other aircrafts, including the german and japanese. Prepare for the heat of Florida because the hangar is not ACd or visit in winter.
Amazing little museum hidden away :I loved going here and seeing all this planes in display, I am also looking forward to some planes that were outside on the tarmac waiting restoration to be on display! If you love planes and have some time to spare its a great place.
I enjoyed this museum as a non versed in airplanes. They are impressive
(3.5 stars). Cool small museum. Very small although they have some really cool planes. The lady is nicer/friendlier than the older guy.
What a lovely place hidden away. My wife brought me here on a detour from all the birthday stuff I planned for her. Small hangar with a lot of living history. First time ever seeing an F-14 in person and man was it huge. This is coming from someone that works around modern fighter aircraft. Find some time to come in here. Its well worth it.
Learn aviation history here. The art on the wall was actually drawn by hand by the person that volunteers his time there. Cool avaition souvenirs.
Absolutely lovely place. Rare aircraft like the hawker hunter and a Mig 21. Highly recommend visiting. Owners are lovely.
Super cool, intimate museum, you can get up close and personal with the planes! My family loved it.
I went to see the B17. Awesome
Beautiful museum with the best bird ever made... the F-14 tomcat
Very disappointed... Host at desk was very unwelcoming... the place is nothing more than a collection of model airplanes and about 8 to 10 planes in a hanger... very poor lighting and not much information on the few displays that there are... to actually call it a museum is a stretch... definately not he worth the 10 bucks or the drive from the keys..
Nice enough. Was surprised at first to see a rare NA50. Later learned it was a replica cannibalized from a T-6. No mention on the placard. Mentioned this to the manager but he seemed not to care. Just a simple notation that it was a replica would earn another star.
I am a huge aviation enthusiast, and this is the first museum I have told people NOT to go to! Staff uninterested in me being there, very small selection of aircraft-5! To top it off you could only walk around the perimeter of the hangar and not around the airplanes. Do yourself a favor, drive around the airport look at planes, then find somewhere else to go.
I love this place. Being an aviation nerd, it is like a miniature Wright Patterson Air Museum, right here in Miami. I think more people should come here. Definitely
Trap. Old dusty planes, the people there showed no interest in me other than to take my money. Very rude. $10 entry is a complete rip off there maybe 10 planes in the place. You are better off driving through the airport and looking through the fences. Booooo!
Youre going to like this place for its collection of aircraft and history. Be careful with the old guy there he was scolding me for taking photos, outside, with the sign in it. Avoid him hes not a nice person.
It is good if you are in the area and you have older kids, I went with a 4 year old and we did the museum in 5 min. It’s TINY, if I went alone I would’ve taken maybe 30 min. You can see nice airplanes and see who donated them, etc.
I loved it. It’s a pretty good place to go and if you are taking kids and they like aviation call them the day before and depending on their age they could get into a plain 😀.
Small little museum. It’s a little dusty and a bit dated. However, the items are nice nothing to fancy. They do model the experience as if you are in war which is a nice touch. They do have some airplane models on sale. Overall not to bad. I was surprised that it costed $20 for two people given the amount of content. But not the worst price.
Small, really quick to visit but friendly and educational. Will take you about one hour the whole visit, but if you like planes, you will like it. Not expensive.do not expect a big museum, just around 10 to 12 planes depending on the day.
Kind of disappointed. The guy at the desk was a little rude about us having cameras. We kindly put them in the car. We’ve been to other “Wings over” (various citiesand this one was so sad. It takes about 5 minutes to get through the little hangar. The few airplanes are crammed in
It’s a super small air museum. Not too much aircrafts there. Once you get in you will feel like ghost house.
I cannot believe this place has 4 stars, it should have zero.Russian man is super rude. His wife was okay, not the most welcoming people.Lights are not functioning in the corridor leading up the the hanger, so if you like to read and gain knowledge, get your cellphone and turn on the light.Super poor selection of planes. It will be over in about 5 minutes. I’ve been to MANY air and space museums and this is probably the worst one.Well make it your own experience and don’t take my word for it.
I step inside reception and one extremely rude man with eastern Europe accent speak loud and rude “it’s $300 hour to make a footage”Just because I carry a dslr camera! What I did? Step back and return to my car!Don’t expend your money here!!!The museum is nice but the people “extremely rude”
Very Very small. Everything is in one hangar., with the F14 taking up 1/4 or the hangar. You can see all A/C on website and at your local airport for most of them. Not worth the $10 to see 7 aircraft. Signs were not with the correct aircraft.
It’s a small museum but there is still lots to see. If you love planes you should visit this place. All the planes are privately owned and are functioning, even the fighter jet. I just wish you could get closer to them. I gave it four stars because it’s great to be there to see the planes but there isn’t much interactive experience happening. It’s a look don’t touch type. I’m sure it’s better if and when they have events. If you love aviation, planes, and it’s history this is a place to have to go. I plan to go back.
Disappointing! Decided to take 5 year old son since he likes planes and it was recommended for families as a great outing. We spent less than half an hour there. Its very small and way over priced.
Im in the Civil Air Patrol squadron that meets at the museum. We usually do classes in the back room and aerospace lesson by the planes. Its very a very educational and fun space.
Loved it, enjoyed going with father and son , my father is crazy about planes and he really enjoyed going and talking about planes
For the price there is not much to see. All the planes are at a bit of a distance away so you cant see into the cockpits.
This s a nice museum. Great collection of plastic model and R/C aircraft. The real aircraft were interesting and easy to get close to. Some of them you could touch. I would recommend visiting.
Good collection of aircraft. A little out of the way to get to. It takes only about an hour to wander around so be prepared for your visit to be over before you begin.
Its a nice stop you do not need to dedicate to much time as its relatively small. Its worth the stop and does have some interesting exhibits. If you have kids this is an excellent stop.
