We loved our ride out with Marie. Novice riders, not having ridden for years, Marie put us at ease. She gave some great informative information as we headed around the vineyards. The horses were very placid and well behaved. Recommend if you’re considered a trail.

There are no vineyards. Dirt roads and streets.Nice guide but the rest is “bull” don’t believe the the brochure said they moved but take your money anyway. Not to mention impossible to find. Looked forward to the ride for a month big let down to false advertising

Booked this online and it was pretty easy. My review will also include things they can improve with customersI was there on Sunday,. the place is really nice, clean and all the ladies are super nice, Specially our guide lady, I wish I can remember her name she was the sweetes, she made sure we were safe and helped us a lot with he horses.Positive Things about this place- you dont have to wait they are good with their appoitments-the ladies will help you if is your first time hey give you the basic and they put you on a horse that is calm- Safey is first and you get a nice helmet- There is a cool place where you stop and our lady guide took a bunch of pictures and she did great with the photos.-The Scenery is Okay, nothing out of the ordinary but pleasent** Shoutout to all the ladies tha work there ALL OF YOU ARE SUPER FRIENDLY AND NICE .THINGS THEY CAN IMPROVE TO HELP NEW CUSTOMERS:- A little more information on what to do after you are done riding the horses and where to go for the wine tasting. we had no idea where to go or anything . I think moe information about the entire process will be hepful- WATER : At the end of the your tour I wish they will offer you a bottle of water because you will get thristy . Even if is a small little bottler I think it will be nice and customer will appreciate the gesture. I really think the water is something that is needed it after that long ride and the experience is not cheap , COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLE OF WATER CAN HELP SPECIALLY ON A WARM DAY.- Also it will be helpful specially if you are new to any of this as you check in if the ladies inform you of how the wine tasting work that they wil give you information for the wine tasty. I remember asking the lady so this is it and she was yes that is it. I was confused since I paid for 2 people and 2 wine tasting 20 x 2 =$40.00 and I had no idea that it was on a different place, If they can provide a little more information by letting you know " after your ride you need to go here to get your wine tasting."we had no idea.- I never got my wine tasting because I had no idea it was at a different location. So more information will be helpfulOVERALL WILL I RECOMMENT THIS PLACE TO ANYONE THAT WANTS TO EXPERIENCE HORSEBACK RIDING : ABSOLUTELY YES!!! , I saw how the horses are treated with love, and kindness, the ladies are experts and the horses are super calm. !! you are going to enjoy the experience .

This has only been my 3rd time riding and I have to say it was fun. I want to thank Lindsey for being so patient with me. The horse I had was Blue and she was wonderful through out whole ride. My husband and I both enjoyed it. Thank you so much for the experience.

First, I want to say they were really patient with scheduling and rescheduling with me many times. The owner is so sweet and wonderful. Then when we finally made it out there, we had beautiful and safe horses, we could relax and enjoy the trails through the wineries and orchards. Our guide was so fun and really made our experience. Ill definitely recommend this to my family when they visit. Thank you for such a fun birthday!

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Greeted by a friendly face, horses were obviously well cared for, and our guide, Christa, was great. She is familiar with the area and full of fun local knowledge. I had been to a different trail ride company the day before and there is no comparison. Highly recommend this ride.

My daughter and I had an amazing ride. From the moment you arrive you are greeted and made to feel welcome. The ride is gorgeous and the perfect two horses allowed us to just relax and enjoy the scenery. Our guide was thoughtful and made everyone feel comfortable. I would highly recommend for all levels of riders. We enjoyed a morning ride, but will definitely we booking again for a sunset ride.

It was our Anniversary…….what a great time my first horseback riding .Our Guide was so patient and was an outstanding instructor. Everyone was very nice , Beautiful scenery I would Definitely do this again.

Went horseback riding with my two sisters and it was so much fun! Our tour guide was really friendly and led us on a steady, wonderful ride. She even made a stop so we could grab a picture while we were on our horses. Luna was the sweetest and the entire experience was relaxing. Highly recommend checking out this place! I would definitely do it again and maybe a sunset ride next time.

Had a great experience yesterday riding our horses Decka and Cowboy, I was scared for the 1st 5 minutes but felt comfortable right after, the scene is so beautiful and peaceful. My husband loved it I kept hearing him talk to his horse Cowboy. Went for wine tasting afterwards and had a lovely day. Definitely will go back, maybe for a sunset ride.

We had the most amazing experience! Our guide, Carter, was awesome and Maria is so knowledgeable and made us feel super comfortable. It was a 10/10 experience and well definitely go back. Also, it was our honeymoon and I would definitely recommend this for a fun, adventurous yet romantic activity.

Wonderful, easy going ride... I brought my daughter here because she loved horses and riding. We were waiting for our group to get together and the guides allowed us to pet the horses and take pictures while we waited. When we were on the tour the guide was very personable and friendly. We talked about everything ranging from the winery, Temecula itself, the horses and specifically the ones we were riding, what we did for work/school and literally everything under the sun. He was also very knowledgeable about the areas and wineries in the area. Everyone here was pleasant, horses look very well kept and are all easy to ride. They provide helmets and can lead your horse if you ever feel uncomfortable or uneasy while riding. We also had beautiful pictures taken on our ride.

We took our granddaughters for their first horseback riding experience. The facility was excellent and the horses were well cared for/treated. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Our trail guide was patient with our group of first time riders. The weather and surroundings were picture perfect. It was truly an experience of a lifetime for my granddaughters! Highly Recommend!

Took my son for his birthday ride here and had a thoroughly good time. My son has Autism and our trail guide Marie PERFECTLY matched my son to a horse for him. She was patient and provided good horse skills. We could not have asked for a better birthday experience! We will definitely be doing this again!

We had a wonderful time horse back riding with Wine Country Trails. Maria was our guide. She is very friendly and knowledgeable about horses. The best part was she took a lot of photo of us so that we didn’t have to and we could just focus on enjoying our ride. After the ride, she airdropped the photos to our phones.It is a beautiful ride through a vineyard. I would highly recommend Wine Country Trails.

My family and I had a wonderful time on our early morning ride! The horses were so well maintained and beautiful! We all felt very comfortable riding with our little knowledge! Such a beautiful place too! Our guide Hailey was fantastic! She took photos of us throughout the ride! And she was very knowledgeable! Highly recommended!

They were able to squeeze us in on a Saturday and we actually got a your w the lead guide for just the two of us. Really quite delightful.Very beautiful and peaceful tour. Very nice horses and guides, horses well taken care of and seemed happy to be there and taking people on tours. They dont take tours if temp more than 90F... I think they do a good job w the horses.

As a first time rider along with my boyfriend, it was a great experience , espcially when I got to ride on a horse name Decka that was the leader in the group. She was a great leader from the start and end. Once I got on her saddle a few minutes later she was ready to go for the ride. The entire ride and the seeing the 20 acre view of the grapevines was amazing. Nice tour guide and horses was amazing! I would definitely come back another day another time.

we had the BEST time at Wine Country Trails! Genesee was a wonderful guide who knew a lot about the vineyards we rode through. The horses were all rescues and such kind, gentle creatures. We felt very safe and will definitely be back!

My family and I just took the 1.5 hour trail ride here on Friday September 18th and it was awesome!! It was quite hot out, especially compared to San Diego where we were staying. Being from Chicago, we underestimated the temperature change from the coast to the desert! Our trail guide James was wonderful! He is very knowledgeable on all things horses and the winery and he took some great photos of us! Very cool dude with a lot of great stories, we could have hung out with him all day! The ride was nice and easy and the horses were wonderful! My mother had not been on a horse in over 30 years and she had no issues at all. I rode Patch and my mother rode his girlfriend Deka. Such gorgeous creatures! I asked to ride a Paint and James gave me one! I purchased the wine tasting afterwards and that was fine, but I much preferred the horseback ride :I would definitely return here if I ever find myself in that part of the country again.

My friends and I rode through the vinyards of the Maurice Carrie Winery at sunset 🌅 We were all various levels of horseback riding skill (Im a beginner), but we all felt completely trusting of the team in selecting the best horse for us to ride. Our amazing lead James told us facts, made us laugh, took photos and brought us to the top of a hill for a gorgeous sunset. My handsome steed Rusty kept me safe...and always at the very back of the group. Everyone had to stop a few times to let us catch up 😂 Overall it was a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience. Thank you so much Wine Country Trails by Horsebck for a perfect ride.

This place is a little piece of heaven. Just you, the horse, the trail, and some vines! Do the sunset at 6:30! About 90 minutes slow walk. Maria was our trail guide and she was amazing! So was my horse Davis 😃

Wow! Just an amazing experience all around, this was our first time riding and boy was all the staff so very welcoming and wonderful. I was afraid my son would have been scared to get on the horse (he’s afraid of heightsand the staff was able to convince him to get on and stay on without panicking, reassured him throughout the ride that things were okay, and boy did my son enjoy this so much he wanted to go another round 🙌🏼 we loved our guide, the views were beautiful and the ride experience was better than we could have imagined. Thank you Dianne and staff, we can’t wait to book again!We highly recommend friends and family, you won’t be disappointed. 🙌🏼💕

I would have given this 5 stars if I could. 5 is perfect, and while this experience was awesome, it was not perfect. It was a perfect day for the ride, however, and our guide was great. He talked about the area and took pictures of the group on his phone. This was a big help, since my husband and I are both novice riders and so did not really want to let go the reins to take pictures. As with most horseback riding experiences, the horses know where to go, but they also paid attention to our commands, too, somewhat. My husband and I felt very safe on our horses and during the ride. All the staff were very nice; however, what was lacking is good information about where to go for the wine tasting. I had purchased the Deluxe ride, which was to come with a commemorative glasses. I had my voucher with me, but it did not list the participating wineries; other than the Maurice Carrie Winery & Vineyard where you redeem your voucher. When I asked, the staff member pointed to the right and said, "Red", and to the left and said, "Sweet." We chose red, which was the Avensole Vineyard. This vineyard offered both red and white wines and a sparkling wine for tasting. When we asked about the glass, we were told that did not come with the package. So, when we got home, I checked the website for the details as my voucher only indicated that it was for a Deluxe Package, which includes:• 90-Minute Deluxe Fall Horseback Tour and Tasting Package includes:o 90-minute scenic guided tour through Maurice Car’rie vineyardo Tasting of six Spanish and Italian wines at Danza del Sol Wineryo Souvenir wine glasses.So, according to this, we went to the wrong vineyard. Since this information was not included on the voucher and I had not committed this to memory, it would have been helpful if the staff at check in had this information. So, hopefully, the staff will be better trained regarding the tastings after the ride, or at least direct riders to the Maurice Carrie vineyard tasting room or office for more information.

Thank you Maria for a great horseback tour! Came here to celebrate my one year anniversary and had such a magical experience! I like the groups are kept to about 4 riders and the guide. They make sure before you get on your horse that you are comfortable and know how to give commands. My husband has never been riding and he was surprised at how comfortable he felt. The horse knew exactly where to go with just the right amount of guidance. Maria took pictures the whole time and even had us stop to pose for some great shots! At the end she was happy to share the pictures with the group. We got to ride through the winery learning some great things about the area and also the process of wine.This is the place to go for an AMAZING experience! The whole staff and crew from check in to leaving was fun and energetic creating the BEST environment! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Great friendly staff. They want to be sure you enjoy your ride and your horse. They gentle tell you what you may be doing incorrectly to better guide you and the horse. The horses are trained and know their way. Fabulous time. The guides also take numerous photos of you while riding and some posed shots and then air drop them to your i-phone or email to android phones. Super people.

I purchased this ride and wine tasting for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! We are both experienced riders and the horses they matched us with were perfect. Our guide was full of interesting information about the development of Temeculas Wine Country and he took great photos of us! The scenery was beautiful and the staff were all so pleasant and accommodating. I would highly recommend this company!

This winery is absolutely stunning. The horseback riding is before wine tasting (which is better because certain wines do leave you with a buzz). The ride is about an hour long and instructors are there every step of the way. As far as the wines, they are very flavorful and club membership is recommended (must buy 3 bottles of wine). First time but not last

We really enjoyed the horse ride through the vineyards. Our tour guides and staff were all extremely friendly and polite. The horses were very well kept and the tack gear was in good shape. The ride was very easy going and really allowed us to enjoy the scenery. The groups per tour guide are small and comfortable. Even if you have no experience riding you will enjoy this tour. All the staff makes it a point to teach you and get you comfortable with the horses before going on the ride. My wife and I had a great time and we would definitely do it again.

My fiance and I had SO much fun doing this! It was worth every single penny. He had never ridden a horse before and was so excited to do so. He had absolutely no problems - every horse was well-behaved, even my own who was a bit of a brat to the other horses (Im a more experienced rider and had no issue with her). Our guide (I didnt get her name unfortunatelywas incredibly knowledgeable in pairing us with good horses for our skill levels, and she was so incredibly sweet. She told us about each of our horses and their personalities, and about the vineyard as we rode through. She took us to the top of a hill to take pictures, and they are so amazing! I had an amazing time, and then we went wine tasting at Danza Del Sol, where we got an amazing bartender and just had fun. I cannot wait to come back to Wine Country Trails for a second ride!

This was a great experience and beautiful day for me, my mom and best friend. I was VERY nervous to do this as I was bucked off a horse as a young girl and haven’t been on one since. In fact I wouldn’t have done it had my husband not given my mom and I the gift certificate for Christmas. I’m so glad I did though and overcame my fear. Our guide for the day was Scott and he was great, very patient and helpful. He paired each one of us up with the appropriate horse based on our size and experience or lack of. And he gave clear instructions on how to guide the horse. I was nervous at first but quickly got the hang of it. My horse was Dusty and he was very calm and sweet. Just had a little trouble with him being stubborn and wanting to eat grass on the trail but Scott helped me out and led Dusty by rope once he realized I was getting nervous again and having trouble controlling him. My mom and best friend, however, did great on their horses and held their own! The scenery was beautiful, a little warmer than we expected but still nice. I would highly recommend Wine Country Trails for anyone with or without experience. The horses all seem to have good temperaments and you can tell they are loved and well cared for. And definitely plan for the wine tasting after, it’s a great way to end your ride.

Surprised my husband with an early birthday present.Hes been wanting to try new things so I thought this would be fun & different and sure enough we had the best time!Horses were in beautiful condition and well trained!We will for sure be coming back this year!

It was a great experience! My wife and I had not been on a horse in over 20 years and we were completely comfortable with the very well mannered horses. The trails were beautiful and our guide was great! No complaints at all!

This place was great. The horses were all well behaved and Marie, our guide was fantastic. The tour takes you through the rolling hills of the winery. The guide will be as chatty as you like but will also talk to the other groups if you want a little quiet space.
