Windsor Hotel - in Kirkcaldy, United Kingdom
Very nice friendly welcoming staff. Dont know about the rooms as we were at the beer garden. Lovely surrounding and close to all amenities.
Had my hen do here and we all had a great time !!!!
Friendly staff and you are always looked after fiona runs a good wee pub
Great place.Nice staff
Very nice and appealing but a wee bit expensive for my liking
Ive played here many times. Great wee place, great people. Ill be back later this year..
Really good time and great staff!
Great stuff treated us excellently at a,very busy party function highly recommend
Metal to the masses Awesome live bands H8TEBALL 🤘Nice venue and great staff behind the bar
Great hotel staff brilliant
Nice looking pub! Young crowd at weekend!
I actually had my wedding reception in here in 1995 & have been to a few parties in here too, its just a really nice place & staff are very friendly, Im looking at having my 50th next year, its just absolutely gorgeous now its had a revamp,
We had an awesome stay in the Windsor in kirkaldy well looked after met amazing people rooms were smashing staff were very friendly and big fat panda and pork pie were gr8 my friends and I also loved the karaoke 🎤🤣
Great night at the Windsor on the 10th October 2021. Special thanks to the minouge brothers for a great day allowing us to listen to their music for free! Absolute fantastic boys.
Not out a lot now but have had a good time any time Ive been
Great night out at karaoke stayed sober all night .I will be back
Cracking wee hotel for the price. Great staff too.
Staff and room was really good for the priceToo many bed bugs I believe was all itchy in the morning including the other 2 people that stayed with me..
Rooms are nice and clean bathroom is lovely and spacious staff are lovely and friendly the only problem I had was that they decided to do some decorating in our room the day after we turned up and the bed was loose and needed the bolts tightened which we were told the manager had been notified but it was not attended to while we where there.
Convenient location with decent size triple room. Very clean with en suite bathroom.Staff were nice and friendly
Very clean hotel, in the middle of being revamped, wonderful staff, great value for money, great location if exploring by car, only problem is the noise from the main road, noise from the smoking area travelling up to bedrooms and the seagulls most of the night/day. All that said I would definitely stay again but would use ear plugs or night nurse 😂
The hotel has been refurbished during Covid lockdown. All rooms are en-suite. Room was very clean, warm and bright.Bar and function suite areas are really stylish, finished off in grey and copper decor. Much nicer than expected.Staff were fantastic. So friendly and welcoming and no request was a problem. Makes such a difference being made to feel genuinely welcome at a venue. Some noise at closing time, but nothing you wouldnt expect to hear from rooms above a pub.Excellent value for money.
I am on day 1 of a 2 day stay at The Windsor Hotel and I am flabbergasted at the quality of the place. The staff are really helpful (although little contact due to me meeting a work mate during the day and eveningThe room is clean and presentable, the ammeneties are sufficient with en suite and at £35 a night ( I did book in MayThere is really no reason for earlier posters to moan. This place caters to contractors who work in the local area and just want a place to crash at night and have a few bevvies in the bar. If youre one of those spoilt barstewards then I suggest you look elsewhere with 4 or 5 star ratings and waste your money. Well done Windsor Hotel.
Great value, lovely clean room and friendly staff. Beer garden. Extensive Venom menu if you’re into that kind of cocktail.
First day of lockdown. Great organisation and the service was spot on outside. No complaints. Quick and Efficient
Nice clean and tidy room with en suite, TV ànd coffee. A good nights sleep once I opened the window
Nice clean rooms HD TV free WiFi with a good signal. Comfy beds and friendly staff, thumbs up
Good venue for slimming world! Also a good wee pub with a new outdoor beer garden. Worth a visit.
First time at the Windsor since reopened after lockdown and apart from the stringent social distancing measures which are in place, i.e table service etc the place looks amazing after its refurb, Staff were very pleasant and on form oh and a very nice pint of Tennents lager 👌😋💯
After having a terrible experience at another local hotel I contacted the Windsor hotel. They went above and beyond to help me and Im very thankful, very recently refurbished the hotel represents tremendous value at this price point. Clean throughout and efficient and friendly service really made my trip a pleasant one. A salubrious decour and wonderful service from Molly awaits all would be visitors. Thank you Windsor hotel, I shall return upon my next visit.RegardsDavid MaoRegardDavid Mao
Stayed at the start of March. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Room was nicely decorated. Will definitely stay again when visiting family
Bed was like sleeping on a cobbled road, pillows were like a piece of toilet paper with a pillow case. Milk mouldy for the coffee in the morning. Magic 2 stars
Very basic room, price quite cheap but thought things could have been nicer. Heating not working in room, had to ask twice before it was put on. Then it was too hot as it was on full in night. No control of temperature in room.
Friendly staff, very welcoming. Good advice on evening I stayed.
Very basic. Shared toilet and no food available. Staff very friendly and obliging. Happy to store bag and extend check out time.
Cheap but rough and ready, towels smelt of dog! Shower pathetic! WiFi poor and non existent in morning! But a bed for the night, safe and just what you probably should expect for the price?
I run my Slimming World group here every Tuesday at 3.30, 5.30 and 7.30 and the team are always so friendly and accommodating, from the bar staff to the supervisors and managers/owners.
Dark and dingy hall. Staff didnt want to know about any issues, the rooms were barely habitable. If you have a function there dont pay the sky high prices in the function bar go to the main bar.
Great wee place to stay, staff very friendly. Basically everything u need. Has its own lounge area for quiet time to read play board games etc and its own kitchen dinning room. With massive fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer. But unfortunately no cooker. So only buy micro food and cereal toast etc. Great for the kids.
We saw Scotlands premier AC/DC tribute band, The Volts, supported by Mactalica at the awards or. It was a great gig and a well run event.
Only visited as a music venue. Good to have places like this. Small, but reasonable accoustics. As Arnie said, "Ill be back".
Great venue for a wedding reception or A birthday party. Experienced both and both turned out great.
Not the best pint Ive had in Kirkcaldy. I believe I was charged more than the advertised price for a pint or lager. I wont be back.
Had works night out there full marks for brook and Taylor the bar staff and the management for putting on food free a great night enjoyed by all
Not worth £65 a night. Room didnt have a on suite toilet, just a shower and a sink. Toilets are shared use, floorboards creak more than an old forest.Staff are excellent though, always smiling and helpful.Hidden fees when booking a function, buffet looked like it was done by kids. Dj preferred smoking all night than playing requests. His set was a playlist off Spotify.
Very friendly and helpful personal.Bed a little bit to shortWifi quit not working! No dark curtains in the night.Access to shared kitchen and washing machine!Nice Bar in the house with karaoke!Well situated.
I really enjoyed my stay here the staff was excellent and I would recommend staying here because it is nice and central to the town centre and a quick walk to the train station .
Its an ok hotel. Has a function Hall that bands play in quite regularly. Not stayed in rooms. Bars are ok.
Ive gave this hotel two stars as they have no downstairs rooms for people like myself with a disability. On booking a room for our sons 30th birthday party we were told it would be ok as they only had a few steps up to their rooms on getting to the hotel there was just short of 20 steps up to our room and a shared bathroom with all the other rooms which is very inconvenient. Staff are very friendly and the rooms were very clean.
Hotel rooms are great value for money. Nice and clean room including breakfast £29 per night. Drinks prices are the cheapest in town. Only 2.50 for pint of Tennents and Best. Nice and friendly staff.
