Very clean breakfast shop . Service very nice

Its dark and private in my before coffee time and I like that. Food and staff are satisfying...

Was not greeted at door instead the 2 girls sitting on seats at the back by the cooks yelled to have a seat then didnt serve us ..say for 5 mins or longer no one came over not even to take drink order so we left. Places are complaining they arent making money and this would be why ...extremely poor service. The two would rather talk to each other than serve customers . I like wimpys but will not go back to this one. 👎

We love Wimpys Pancakes the best of all the breakfast spots! Light, fluffy and full of flavor. The staff are very friendly and efficient! The portions are much larger than expected and have been unable to finish the 3 pancakes in one sitting, but they are just as good warmed up with a little butter to keep the moist when you put them in the microwave for a mud morning top-up!Tha ks to the staff at the Orillia location on Memorial Ave, they are now our #1 Family breakfast spot!

Honestly, this was a tremendous surprise. Back in the UK in the 80s, Wimpys was a roadside caf version of McDonalds. I had been purposely avoiding Wimpys Diners here in Canada, remembering those greasy days in the UK. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Theres no comparison. The food was excellent and the service was incredible. The place was busy, busy, busy but we got our order in record time and the waitress was cheerful and kind. Loved it!

It was very clean. Waitresses were nice. A little bit slow and forgetful on things they messed up our order and food was okay. Definitely I would try it again but have the three strike Youre out rule. My burger was a bit undercooked. My wife ordered a club sandwich. Wasnt me to what she asked

Still love the ambiance of the restaurant itself - old school diner with new school inclusions (Iron Man!), and they serve homestyle breakfast all day!Small tables or large booths to cover both couple and family dining.The food is delicious. The prices are reasonable. Ohhh, and the portion sizes are amazing! (Remember to say A take home box, please.)Enjoy your visit and I recommend the Veggie Omelette. Or for those with a large, "just-give-me-everything-Im-wearing-stretchy-pants" appetite, totally try the Flashback Combo - 3 eggs (made as you want), 2pcs peameal, 2pcs bacon, 2 pcs sausage, homefries and 2 buttermilk pancakes. (By the way, the pancakes are as big as the plate!)I visited the Orillia - Memorial location, but for those over shopping in Orillia - Westridge area, there is a second location over there as well. In the plaza next to Costco - totally convenient!!Bon Appetit at which ever one you visit.

Upset with the heavily salted and greasy potatoes. The bacon and toast were equally saturated with butter/grease. Will Not go back!! Manager charged us full price for something we could not eat, apparently "it was a perfectly cooked breakfast" in her words.

Gotta love Wimpys!! Go for the weekend breakfast / brunch you wont be disappointed! Staff are very nice and go above and beyond.

breakfast is good, but mask wearing is an issue the staff cannot figure out. I dont have a problem one way or the other, but chin diapers are excessively irritating.

I gave a 1 star cause I had no choice cause theres no zero. We went in & I totally understand the no pr code, no eating. Well where we live to we dont have to have the pr code as long as we have vaccine papers. But if ur gonna follow protocol then honey, put on ur mask!!

I have eaten breakfast here maybe 5 or 6 times and it is always great. The food is delicious and hot. Anytime I order the steak and eggs the meat is cooked perfectly (as well as the eggs). Always great service. Ive had Christina the last two times and she is excellent. I love their "homefries". Even my take out during a lockdown was great. Thank you!

My husband and I dine here regularly and have for a few years. The service is always wonderful as is the food. Jackie you are of course our favorite. Price is very reasonable. Strongly recommend trying. Their take out is also excellent.

On a road trip, came from Toronto, family was hungry. Overall not too bad, the poutine was a bit bland though.

This was my first time at the Orillia Wimpys on Memorial Dr. It was very good! Better than other Wimpy that I have gone to. The food was delicious and they give you good size portions! Their burgers are huge and delicious! Breakfasts are great too. You do not leave hungry. Good size portions and reasonable prices. Very nice retro 50s diner decor too!

Warning: Be prepared for massive portions of delicious food with great service and incredible value. Only enter if you are prepared to be amazed. My family and I stopped here on our way home from the zoo. We had never eaten at a Wimpys but this restaurant was well reviewed and the menu had something for everyone. When we entered we were immediately greeted with friendly service by Clea. I had the best strawberry milk shake OF MY LIFE! Food was delivered ridiculously fast. I ate delicious fish and chips, and the fam had vegetarian omelette, hot dog and breakfast food. My kids have never eaten this much at a restaurant EVER. I opted to box up half my meal, the portions were immense. The washrooms were spotless. I glanced in the kitchen which was fully staffed, organized and clean. I am extremely impressed and would love to return when we travel again.

Love the decor! Stopped in here for breakfast on my day off work. Staff was very accommodating and quick. The only thing missing was their roller skates! But I can understand why they no longer where roller skates, I wouldn’t want my food spilled on the floor! Lol.The decor was very good and bright. The atmosphere is upbeat and good food. I didn’t get a picture of my breakfast as I was so in love with the decor of this place! I’d stop back here again after I’m done visiting all the other wonderful localities. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It was okay , had a burger and poutine. Patty was just a frozen patty like you’d buy anywhere. The gravy they use is not the best. They definitely don’t disappoint on the portions or size of the burger. It wasn’t bad just not great. Service was friendly and food came quick and hot.

Was good but I witness the 2 waitress drop this containers for customer to bring left over fall on the floor and they picked up and put it back on the shelve by health code it as to go on the garbage. Im not impress what they did on Friday 13 sept 2019

Excellent! The owner is super nice. We asked for a fast service as we have to leave fast and she did her best. Great designed breakfast place, great music. Very clean.

First time in a while at Wimpys and boy was I missing out- coming here for breakfast over the weekend the service was quick all around from being seated to getting our food. From there the food was great and in very generous portions, aside from that the diner was clean and the decor spot on. Will definitely be back.

food was good, but service sucked. Went there at 8am and took 30 minutes for the server to take my order. I ended up having to say something and another server took my order. Other Wimpy’s have done better.

Standard breakfast place that’s run like a well-oiled machine. It’s clean and has a great decor and atmosphere. It’s nice to be served by servers who actually appear like they want to be there. There was an army of servers who wouldn’t let me see the bottom of my mug.

Excellent service, food, atmosphere. Oh and make sure you come here hungry. There is no such thing as small portions.

So glad they were open on New Years day! Food was so good!

Always I check reviews before going anywhere I guess you have to spend your money in a place that deserve it and wimpys definitely is worth the time the drive to this location the server Wanda was awesome knowledgeable about the menu give us some recommendations and it was awesome greats service not long wait for the food to be serve nice atmosphere will be back for sureWashrooms clean 🤪

Great food, great service. Cool decor. Was really busy but the food was fast and delicious. Huge portion but not really expensive. Lots of staff checking in on you. Will definitely be back.
