Karaoke night is really fun here. Usually the same crowds so I got to know people over time (Im not from IA but visit often). Friendly, engaging staff. A stop or two here is always a highlight of my trips. Great place to chill.

Cheap hotel rates, and they make a good drink at the bar next door by the same name. Mostly construction workers, not a family vacation with the kids type hotel.

Room was very simple and a little dated but for the money it was perfectly fine. Microwave and fridge in the room, nice tv and channel selection. Good little bar with some food in the parking lot. Friendly lady at the desk.

Do not expect to be blown away by the modern furnishings and its perfectly accented outward appearance, because you will undoubtedly be let down. However, they offer great service and I was pleasantly surprised to find a mini fridge and microwave in the room (which is more than most places offer at double the price). Close to a lot of great restaurants, fast-food joints and a few sports bars. Will definitely stay again.
