Good bar. Used to nip in here during the week to play some darts while I stayed in Leith.Friendly bar staff and the locals all seemed friendly too.Nothing about it is a stand out, hence the 3 star rating, but likewise nothing was particularly bad either. Worth popping in.

Why is wilkies bar allowing beasts into its bar? A bar that is got a good reputation for friendly but allowes a beast to drink in it as Ive been told all I can say is beware incase they know all about the person ?

...Wilkies...top place in Leith for unpretentious company and a bit of craic.......myself, I prefer the little bar...next to the FREE jukebox, plus theres more chance of grabbing a sandwich or six, and a chicken drumstick.........make the time to visit......if its good enough for Sting of The Police, whos photograph with regulars was taken last year, (and is behind the bar), its good enough for everybody.......get yourselves there....its all good.
