Busy breakfast & lunch go-to for pancakes & other ample plates of American eats in spacious digs.
Great food and service. Beautiful place. Upscale.
Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at Wildberry. Ordered a rustic farm egg panini. The description said over easy eggs and promised a panini. What I received was nothing but. The eggs were over hard and the “panini” was two pieces of ciabatta bread that were placed on the grill for a few minutes with a giant slab of cheese in between and not even slightly pressed together. This was NOT a panini. I am utterly disappointed and will not return to this location. Coffee isn’t great and my friends meal was just as bad. She ordered eggs Benedict which were also hard cooked, no runny yolk. Worst breakfast I’ve had in a while, heading to Starbucks now for a real meal.
Food was delivered uncooked, chorizo and hashbrowns were raw. Health department was notified.
1st time at Wild Berry Cafe. I was a little overwhelmed by how crowded it was at 11am on Friday. However we were seated fairly quickly. My build my own omelet was perfect. The eggs were fluffy not dried out. The ingredients were fresh and just made my taste buds sing with joy. And the White Chocolate Moccha was Heaven!
My favorite place to eat breakfast. Great service and wonderful food. Cant wait to go back.
I want to go back to Chicago just for this food! My son is in the Navy and said he wanted an instructor job at the base so he could visit Wildberry regularly. Needless to say we highly recommend!!! Pumpkin bread French Toast was out of this world. The wild berry French Toast was to die for! The lattes are amazing! Yummmm!!!
I ordered the Chai Tea Latte and the Cauliflower Hash. Both were delicious. The waiter who served us was friendly and professional. I wish I had caught his name, as Id love to have given him a shout out.
So glad we stopped. Had bacon, two eggs fresh shredded hash browns. With cinnamon bun pancake. So full. Also had wild berry orange drink. WOW ! The line up was long but we were seated in a couple minutes. Staff were fast and always cleaning tables fast. Going to be back for another breakfast. Restaurant is very clean. Lots of seating and food comes out fast.
The food was amazing! Large portions…we waited 40 minutes to be seated and another 20 minutes to be served but it was worth the wait. Highly recommended!
I can see why theyre so popular! Delicious food, plentiful portions, good gf options, and fresh squeezed juices! And dog friendly! We sat on the patio and they were very kind about our dog being with us, brought her water without being asked! We will definitely be back.
This place is one of the best which is why there is usually a wait time. Their food is great for both lunch and breakfast, but also its an amazing spot for families and you dont feel out of place bringing your kids here. I wish there wasnt always a wait but its still worth it no matter how long.
Fast and friendly service. Casual breakfast eatery with classic food. My skillet was a little under seasoned and we noticed folks on the table next to us with a skillet also needing to add salt to the dish.
I have enjoyed every meal I’ve ever had here! Love it! Wait time can be long at times with packed parking but completely worth any wait!
This place is WAY BETTER than Buttermilk Cafe! Food and service are amazing!! We got the garden skillet with a couple modifications and upgraded our pancakes to specialty pancakes. The specialty pancakes we chose were the cinnamon roll pancakes and chocolate chip banana pancakes. My boyfriend got their coffee and I got hot water with lemon and honey. Our waitress and the hostess were very nice to us. We will definitely be back and will keep sharing the incredible experience we had with others. Thank you, Wildberry!!!
It was amazing. Really busy but we didnt feel rushed. I had the key lime pancakes and an iced lavender matcha latte. So much food I needed a to go box.
This was very delicious. Worth every dime. I was satisfied everything was fresh. Im not from Illinois but if ever Im around Ill definitely stop here again. This was day 2 of dining.
Amazing fast service! Justin was our server, so knowledgeable and so fast! Wow. The food was great, absolutely nothing to complain about. We had 10+ people eating, definitely would return!
Food is amazing, our server Justin- killed it! We had a party of 7 and he was friendly, and attentive. They were packed and yet he made us feel like we were his inky table!
It took a long time to make it here but it was well worth the wait!!! The toffee nut latte was better than anything Ive ever had from the big coffee places. We enjoyed the mushroom & prosciutto omlette, butcher block breakfast and blueberry pancakes. Everything was delicious and going during the week at an off time meant that we were sat immediately and didnt wait long for our food order. Great place for a family brunch.
Rude racist worker kicking us out of the restaurant.. right when we walked in the girl had an attitude and was saying their kitchen is going to close soon so we’d have to order right now. We said that was fine and she continued to be rude and say she didn’t have enough space to seat us all together. When I pointed out a table that would fit us she said that side was closed and then when I mentioned two booths across from each other on the other side she started saying she can’t serve us and we have to leave. The guy in the black shirt took her side without seeing or hearing our side of the story and kicked us out. When I asked for the manager she claimed she was the manager and so I asked for someone above her she then claimed she owned the restaurant. She said her name was Danielle. Really rude workers.
Good Timing + No wait. WE were seated immediately.Amazing Breakfast. 1st. Eggs. Biscuits + Gravy w/ Hash Browns. 2nd. Fresh Strawberries on Yummy Crisp FRESH Waffle♡Best Coffee. Love Fast + Efficent Service. Great Servers !
Was busy so new it would take time but even after we placed our beverage order it took longer than expected to get them. They cooked eggs for my husband and still didnt get them right. They rest was very good.
We visited on Wednesday morning. Seating was quick. Coffee was fresh and good. Crepes were beautiful and tasty with lots of berries. Crispy hash browns were delicious. Tuscan chicken panini was delicious. Excellent service. Friendly and helpful. Neat and clean place.
I think they do a great job. The variety on the menu is good and the different items are all well made and tasty. I’ve had several different pancakes, sandwiches, salads and scrambles and they were all worth ordering again.
Best place to eat! Been coming here for a decade now. Food is always fresh and delicious. Staff is super friendly. Even is you have to wait longer for a table, it’s worth every minute of that wait 😊
Awesome breakfast place in Libertyville. Been here a few times and never disappoints. Also never leave hungry.
I love this place!!! Me and my sister beat the crowd, wait was less than 5 minutes. I always get the same thing, omelet, hashbrowns and the berry bliss pancakes. Yes, I ate every bite, nothing was left to throw away. Every time I go, always great food and great service.
Food was delicious and service was great! A lot of choices but not overwhelming. Good came out quickly and was decently priced for the amount of food you get. Definitely good for an occasional family get together breakfast!
Amazing service, food, and atmosphere! We came on a Saturday morning when there was a 30-45 min wait. We waited 26 minutes, we ordered food and it came out within 10 minutes, hot and delicious. My son accidentally dropped a plate and it broke, 3 waitresses and a host came by to ask if we were ok.We ordered their cream of chicken soup, french toast and mexican breakfast burrito. All came out delicious and fresh.Try this place! It wont disappoint.
We went on the Saturday before mothers day to avoid a wait. This plan along with going early (8:30let us walk in and sit down. The food is always spot on and today no exception.
Chicken and Waffles was excellent! Definitely on my top 3. Service was excellent! Sergio, our server was excellent. Definitely top notch. Professional, courteous, attentive, and caring. We had one little hiccup but Sergio immediately addressed it and made it right. My family enjoyed the food so much that my 5 year old let us enjoy our breakfast.Thank you Wildberry and Sergio for the great experience!
Excellent! Been before but wanted to share this great Brunch spot with some visitors of mine. Always a pleaser.
From The Brutal Review: This Place Is GreatThis eatery is one in a local four location chain. The review only applies to it. Here it is:Seasonal cookie dough waffle was the best of our three dishes. Just oh so good. Crispy corned beef hash came next. Slow roast brisket hash came last only because I couldn’t stop thinking of that great for all ages waffle. Beverages: fresh orange juice was wonderful. Regular coffee was fine. We doctored ours with a pinch of salt to remove the bitterness, which wasn’t as strong as the Starbucks of the world. (Research that for the chemistry lesson.)Here, service was spot on. Only quip someone other than me could come up with: parking was packed. There was an undeveloped lot next to this eatery that can be converted, but gladly wasn’t. Leave everything just the way it is.
My first time here but the food was great. I had to wait over 45 minutes for a table but the food was good
This place - super busy - Fantastic customer service - Amazing food. Our favorite place to eat it off our whole trip.
This has been by far the worst experience ever! Weasked for a table for 13, we were asked if 2 bootswas okay or if we wanted to wait for 2 tablescombined. We waiting an additional 35 minutes andthen they still sit us in 2 separate tables notcombined - 2 different servers. When we told themanager they said they couldnt do it and that wewere informed since the beginning that it will be twoseparate tables which is a complete lie. I sawanother table combined. The manager needs sometraining, to be able to handle a situation, she didnot know how to organize the tables, she did notknow how to direct her servers for this situation.Instead said due to Covid it cant be done but wehave been here DURING Covid and it has neverbeen an issue. Next time Just say that you are notcapable of directing ur servers. To top it off look atthe avocado they gave me ... ridiculous. Our server was very nice, this situation is not herfault - wildberry- do better with ur managers
I have driven by Wildberry Cafe so many times and finally went for breakfast yesterday morning! The portions are so large and the food is delicious. The pancakes are the crowning glory, however. Wildberry’s pancakes are to die for! I got the Berry Bliss pancakes and tasted the Cinnamon Roll & Blueberry Danish pancakes too. They were out of this world! Also, the honey toffee nut latte was heavenly. Will definitely be coming back here again!
We came here hungry and they delivered! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and so mouthwatering. We ordered the Denver Skillet, Mexicana Skillet, Minced Ham and Cheddar Eggs, Tavern Burger, Butcher Blocker Skillet, Hash Browns and Corned Beef Hash, and the Corned Beef Hash Skillet; all dishes very very tasty and are much recommended! The coffee is good as well, and their cherry lemonade is great. Our waiter Sergio was very attentive to us, despite the fact that the restaurant was packed. He was clearly very informed of the menu and had great recommendations: the Berry Bush Pancakes were absolutely divine! Great fruit flavor and tasted homemade! The one downside is the wait. The restaurant is packed constantly and we had to wait one hour to be seated, but it was all worth the wait!
Well worth the wait!! Best breakfast weve had since moving from San Diego. Very large portions packed with fresh flavor. Very friendly staff
Very sweet staff! There was a 30 minute wait time, but we had a group of 10. The food was fresh and delicious! They were even able to accommodate a couple dietary requests that our family had. We would definitely come back again!
Amazing place, just pure love for Wildberry’s. Wonderful place to hang with friends. Coming here once every Sunday morning just hits as the food quality is always consistent and the quick food. Omelettes will very rarely have eggshells in it, only experienced it twice. Has a distinctive vibe to it, beware of the booters.
Weve been here a few times and love it. The pancakes are my favorite, tbey are so buttery and yummy. I tend to always go for Mexican inspired dishes and they dont disappoint! They are always busy no matter the day so be ready to wait. The staff is always so welcoming and make sure they give great service from the busboys to the actually waiter/waitress.
We had an amazing experience, the food was absolutely delicious. We had the pleasure to be attended by Micheal who was very friendly and cordial and made great recommendations/suggestions and made sure we had a great time.Thank you Micheal for making our brunch experience so good.
One of my favorite breakfast places! If there’s a long wait, don’t make the mistake of leaving. Make sure you wait! Your in for a treat! The food is absolutely amazing. Just close your eyes and pick anything and it’ll be amazing! My personal favorites are the egg Benedict & berry bliss pancakes! So good! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We had no wait, which was surprising for showing up around 10am on a holiday. Staff was great. I ordered the Rutherford omelette (caramelized onions, goat cheese, bacon). Unfortunately, it mostly tasted like the oil it was cooked in. Even when I got into the middle where most of the fillings were. The pancakes were really good.
The food and service are outstanding! It can be extremely long waits if you just walk-in. I highly recommend that you check-in on Yelp to hold your place. Our wait time was listed at 1.5 hours we were seated in 45mins.Our waitress Olivia was fantastic! We didnt have to wait for any our needs to be met! She was ontop of everything! She informed us immediately after she placed our order an estimated wait time on our foods arrival. We ordered Nutella Crepes ( bananas for an extra charge)Berry French toast ( very rich, but delicious)BLT sandwich on Sourdough w/side of sweet potato fries ( only came with two pieces split in half not enough)We also ordered bacon not pictured it was a bit chewy, if you like it crispy let your waitress know. The food Overall is tasty & fresh definitely worth the wait. We will be back often.
Wow! I stopped here for breakfast on my road trip, and I cannot give enough stars for how great this restaurant is. I’ve been to many breakfast places so I didn’t have high expectations, but the food was so good I’d make the two hour drive back here.I ordered the caramel macchiato, corned beef hash and southern benedict. All were very good. I went at 9:30am on a Saturday so it was very busy and parking was somewhat difficult. I only waited 10 mins to be seated w/out a reservation and the food was served VERY quickly considering how busy it was. The service was outstanding as well.Everyone I came into contact with were SO genuinely nice and friendly. Can’t wait to come back.
By far my favorite restaurant ever! All the food is great, service is spot on every time, and the food comes out promptly. I have never had a bad experience of the many times Ive been here and cant wait to be back. Youll be leaving full every time! I would rate 6 stars if I could.
Always a pleasure coming here. Sometimes wait is long, but you can actually get in line on their website ahead of time, which is great!!!Food is outstanding every time. So delicious! Their little cafe is amazing and the baristas make awesome coffee. Try it out!!
This was my first time going to Wildberry. Our server was George and he was great! He was super attentive and friendly today. All staff were welcoming and following covid guidelines, which put us at ease knowing everything was being handled appropriately. The restaurant was clean and the food was AMAZING! Already planning our next visit!
