Wild Ginger Food Truck in Conway

Tonight was mine and my husbands first time to try Wild Ginger. I ordered the chicken hibachi and he ordered the steak hibachi. Both come with rice and veggies. The chicken was tender, and flavorful. The steak however was meh, it was as if you had put a piece of gum in your mouth, very chewy. Wouldnt recommend the steak AT ALL!

The shrimp was so juicy and wonderful and so was the steak and the veggies and rice. I am absolutely in love with their yum-yum sauce!!!

Saw the sign for this place as I was stopping to get diesel fuel across the street at Caseys .... looked it up on Google .... saw the good reviews and decided to give it a try.It lived up to the hype .... I got the chicken & shrimp combination and it was DELICIOUS!They provide nice food portions too so you definitely get your monies worth.Whenever Im back in Arkansas ... I will stop here

I was a pretty loyal customer until August 25 (Tuesday). I ordered my usual and paid. On Thursday (only 2 days laterI checked my bank acct and noticed that double charged me. I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal. I called and was told to show them the bank charge and the manager would pull my ticket to see what the price should’ve been. I go up there to show them the charge (and placed another order with them). The employee told me the manager said he will not refund me for being charged double because he don’t know where the tickets were from that day (literally 2 days prior). That’s pretty sorry business especially to someone who used to go there frequently. I asked the employee if she would have her manager call me. 3 weeks later and I haven’t heard a word. I work at a small local business and we would never do this to a customer. It’s not my fault he did something with the tickets. I told them what I ordered and showed them what I was charged and he would not give me a refund for the overcharged amt and he couldn’t even take the time to call me. I don’t care that it was only $11 they stole from me, it’s the point nothing was even attempted to be done. That’s a shady business owner right there.

Very Expensive 2 orders plus egg rolls $43 to much for food truck prices ...online prices are different food wasnt to bad not enough veggies or meat but plenty of rice !!!

Food was excellent. Will be a return customer. But prices need to be updated. Quite expensive. 48$ for 2. We had the triple combo and 2 egg roll orders. That’s all.

At some point they stopped using real cuts of steak and started using stew meat. Its not the same. Not even close. Everything else was good though.

Had to change my review. No more burger (best thing on the previous menu), increased prices, and the prep work on the lo mein was pretty bad.Huge chunks of carrot that weren’t cut the whole way and pieces of the gross, outer layer of the onion.

The only reason they earned a star is because eventually I did receive food. This place was not organized. The wait was excessively long. The staff argued over what happened to my order. When I asked why it took so long, I did not receive an explanation. Honestly this is the first time I have ever given a negative review and I hope it is the last.

Call or get there before 8pm. The food is great but it can be hard to get through on the phone and theyll turn you away after 8pm.

Really good food, but they take forever. Always spend at least 30min of my lunch waiting. I just dont know why it always takes so long.

Great food truck for hibachi right in conway! The food is very reasonably priced tastes just like if not better than the restaurants. I find this to be a great dinner when I am running behind. If you would like fast service, place your order before you arrive. They get busy fast.

This is always good!!!! The only problem with this place is that theyre so busy that its hard to get thru to place an order and theres often a pretty long wait. Lol

I love their food. Ive never had anything bad off of their hibachi menu. I highly recommend them.

I have to say the food here is fantastic it really is I love it but thats not why Im giving then one star. Their food might be great but their customers service is horrible. Everytime I go up there they are very rude and at times disrespectful. They never answer their phone when would want to place an order unless they are telling you they are on a 2 to 3 hour lunch and even then they are rude when they are telling me that. The customer service has really ruined the experience for me here and Ill never go back and it sucks cause the food is great.

Definitely some of the best I’ve had. I never would’ve thought to try there, I was very skeptical about a weird trailer next to a gas station...? But my friends bought me some and now I’m hooked. The yum yum sauce is some of the best sauce I’ve ever had! Highly recommend, and I think everybody else in Conway does as well!!

Do not come here on a weekend evening if youre in a hurry. Not even if you call your order in, because chances are it wont be ready. This has happened to me twice. I called in my order, but when my husband went to pick it up, they lied and said it was still being boxed up. So we waited several minutes. Finally he went back to check on our food, and was told they were still cooking it. The food itself is great, but the service sucks. They dont really seem to value their customers time, or appreciate them enough to be honest.

I ordered an order of spring rolls and there was a fly in the sauce. Ruined the meal for me. I can’t imagine how dirty the truck is on the inside..

Overall nasty. Do not recommend the noodles, at all, the vegetables were not a good quality, steak was very chewy, rice was ok, yum yum was so watered down. So bad. Just don’t waste your money here..

The food was ok. The hibachi chicken and steak were alright could have had more flavor, the hibachi veggies were good, the eggroll was even good. The “yum yum” sauce was super watery and not good, the eggroll sauce wasn’t my favorite, the rice was mushy and almost seemed as if they steam the rice and then try to cook it on a flat top with soy sauce. It was our first time eating there and for the PRICE it was very disappointing. We went full in too and bout two full meals, my SO bought extra steak with his meal which was $5.99 extra on top of the $10 something it was for the steak meal, and we got egg rolls. So the hibachi chicken was $8.99 I think, the steak hibachi was $10 something, the extra meat was $5.99, and the egg rolls were $3.99. We spent over $30 and it was work probably half the price of that. They give ALOT of rice and decent portion of meat and veggies. The bag also had sauce all on the bottom of the bag which resulted to me having to transfer the food out of the box and on to something else. Overall it was alright but I’m not sure I will go back solely because of the rice and the prices.Also wanted to add that the coy cause was GROSS luckily I had some soy sauce at home. I’m not sure if they just use super cheap soy sauce packets or what.

This is the best place to eat. Great food, great service, and great prices. What more could you want.

There steak lo mein is Amazing!! Im sure everything els is too... but this is my favorite!!! The steak is made to order and mmmmm!!

Every time we order here its always a success and delicious. So happy the have this in Conway. Service is in good timing. We always call ahead and pick up. Prices are very decent as well, especially for the amount of food you get. Weve split one plate between 3 people before.

Great tasting food, huge portions at a decent price. Worth stopping and getting something even when they are a bit busy.

Friendly service. Price a little high, but hibachi is large portions. Not a lot of items on the menu and no dessert. Chicken was overcooked.

Wild Ginger is my favorite restaurant in Conway. Their chicken hibachi is awesome. Their yum yum sauce makes it even better. I would suggest calling in your food to go and picking it up at their food truck. They can get really busy at peak times and you may have to wait awhile if you dont call it in ahead of time. Everyone needs to try Wild Ginger!

Ive heard about this place from a friend, and tried it. I had their spring rolls. They were hot and fresh. Very crispy. I love the dipping sauce that comes with them. Its sweet, flavorful, and has a touch of heat. I would definitely go back to try more of their menu.

Outstanding I am a big guy and I had enough food left over for lunch the next day. Very good. Fair price and large portions. I am leaving the country again for a year and I really hope they are still here when I return.

I ordered 13 different hibachi meals for my employees at lunch and they got every one of them correct. Not only where they correct, the staff was friendly and they got my order together quickly. Every time Ive been to Wild Ginger its been great. Check them out.

I love Wild Ginger! The food is always delicious, theyve never gotten my order wrong, and you get a lot of food for your money! Its always 2 meals for me or enough to split between two people!

They give a lot of food for the price. The lady at the front was very courteous to me, she bought my food to my car since it was raining cats and dogs. They made sure we had yum yum sauce, soy sauce, and extra teriyaki sauce. I will be back again and again. I was very surprised and happy about the food quality and quantity.

This food is not consistent. Some times it is good (occasionallyand other times it is fair. Pisses me off when I have to wait 30 minutes to get the food and the steak is chewy, the shrimp is tough and the rice flavorless. It also sucks when you get home and find out they didnt give you any Yum yum sauce or soy sauce. Too bad there isnt another food truck in Conway to choose from. Food truck in Vilonia is way better.

This is the worst place to eat. I had 3 to go items, and every single one of them had a hair in it. I will not recommend this to anybody. Came all the way from LR just to try it. Last time Ill ever eat here. Lady on the phone told us that we put the hair in it. Go spend your money on a real restaurant thats gonna serve nice food and not some nasty truck food with hair in it.

My family and I tried WILD GINGER today. The food is good however our initial reaction when we opened our to go box was "wwhhaatt!!"They stuffed in so much rice in the styrofoam to go box that it was formed by the lid of the box. Our chicken and veggies were in the small sections and the portion was very small. I have 5 tiny pieces of broccoli a few slices carrot and very small amount of chicken. Our meal was mostly a ridiculous amount of rice. I would not have even bothered to order if I had realized I would be given a massive amount of rice! The meat/ veggie ration was so small I gasped at the amount who wants to fill on rice?. Our other orders were the same. Dumplings were good too but the prices were very high for the mounds of rice with a small portion of the actual ontray.
