1st Floor, 14 Neal's Yard, London WC2H 9DP, Naudero
Raw and wholefood veggie cafe for organic dishes in airy interior with wooden counter and tables.
Expensive. The food portions were TINY.Food wasnt terrible but definitely not worth the price. There is also not a lot of options on the menu, and all the main dishes are around 15£ which is why we could only get the salad. Definitely left feeling hungry. Would not recommend for anyone on any kind of budget.
I first visited neals yard and the cafe over the summer with a friend. I loved the vibe, the food was incredible and the desert were just perfect. I’ve never had a banofi cake this fresh and delicious!!I have been back on various occasions for coffee and lunch. Just love it!
The main (burritolacked any flavour whatsoever, but apart from that the starters and dessert were good. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Only just a 4*.
Very cute place, central location. The staff is nice but the server was a bit distracted. I hadnt finished my juice when I ordered the cake and went to the toilet, when I got back the server took the juice, yet I told him I am going to the toilet, plus I ordered a cake, which means I am coming back obviously. Anyway, he gave me a new one, exactly the size that was left - half a glass. So, that was a bit unfortunate. Apart from that, the food is great, of course pricey, considering the location but it was delicious and felt healthy.
Some of the best veggie food in London, with amazing atmosphere and super friendly staff. Seating is shared, which provides great opportunity for making new friends - however could prove too close for comfort for those who like more elbow space! It can be a little tricky to find the entrance, and access is up some steep steps so potentially not great for anyone with mobility issues.Well worth a visit, even if just for dessert :)
Really good service. Friendly and attentive. We had Mushroom and tarragon soup was really tasty, well seasoned. I really could have had a second bowl. Gorgeous coconut cheese cake. Burger was nice but Im not a fan of sweet potato fries in. I went with two meat eating friends and they both loved it too.Definitely recommended.
Really great for gluten free food. I think everything is vegan but you dont really notice. And Rainbow cheese cake!
Not what I expected this is place to be but it was relatively good. The food is very healthy which is different than most of the food I experienced in London. It is quite cramped but I got a window seat so I was able to see the quite remarkable view of the pedestrians out the window. The food was a little over priced and not as good as other vegan raw food I have had in the past. But in general I liked this place.
Nice ambience and location. The options in the menu were limited but everything we ordered was very tasty.the staff was friendly and the service was very quick.
One of the very few places in London serving vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free and yummy snacks, meals and drinks - being a superfood addict, I get rarely amazed and intrigued by ingredients used. The menu changes every 3 months. I had the green burger (a quite filling but tasty plateand the medicinal latte.Perfect for an eclectic, guilt-free brunch. The place is small and cosy, not easy to find seats so best for couples or small groups. Very nice staff. The downside is that the service is very very slow.Thank you! Looking forward to trying new wild food :)PS 1: It’s on Deliveroo and UberEats. But I would rather go back for recommendations.PS 2: A new location will soon open on Upper street (Angel)
The vibe you get when walking into Neals Yard is just stunning. I love exploring these hidden gems in foreign cities and The Wild Food Café is certainly one of them. Food is amazing, view is incredible and the service is excellent. The WFC is located on the first floor, so you have to get up a stairs (which makes this location a challenge for disabled peopleand there arent that many places to sit, but the vibe hou get of the WFC is extremely cozy.
- Hippy shabby chic vibe with fine dining prices- Wonderful location overlooking Neal’s Yard- Food looks like it would Instagram well. Everyone seemed to be photographing their multicoloured meals- £14.75 for a ‘Bombay beach burger’ (green gluten free bun and mushroom based burger with roasted sweet potato on the side)- Service was slow. I spent 20 minutes waiting at the bar for my takeaway burger, meanwhile I noticed a girl eagerly trying to gain someone’s attention to order whilst a waitress rearranged salt and pepper on an empty table- Overall the food was tasty, when it eventually arrived and I was intrigued by the look of some plates. But at £14.75 with a 20 minute wait, it really wasn’t appropriate for a lunch takeaway and I wish they had warned me!
To summarise, this place represents everything all the “healthy/raw/organic” branded shops in London have that I detest. The food LOOKs amazing, but when you bite into it, it is either disgustingly flavoured or has no flavour at all. The textures dont work the flavours don’t work, the only thing that works is the marketing on the menu selling that flavour combination. Very disappointing. Not even the juices are nice, they come either hot or at room temperature and the flavours on the menu just cause you to gag once they hit your tongue. Both the food and the drinks are terribly overpriced. £8 for a juicy that is served at room temperature and doesnt taste like a juice (its thick and tastes of earth+ a £9 cake that definitely doesnt taste like cake. Or feels like it even.To sum everything up, the space, while pretty, is cramped and very very VERY hot and humid because the kitchen and the dining tables are in the same OPEN PLAN room, that is generally quite small.I wish Google would let us give 0 stars, because that’s how much I would rate this establishment.Service staff is very friendly though!
yummy fresh food and very filling! lovely little place above Neals Yard. Had the seasonal rainbow bowl and burger. They ran out of burger buns so replaced it with their bread. Be prepared to share tables with other people if the restaurant gets quite full!
We were welcomed at the door by Elida, at first we were told waiting time is 10-15min, but it wasnt even 5 when we were invited in :we had starter and main (burger, rainbow bowl and seaweed saladreally tasty food with interesting conncetion of flavours. Desserts little overpriced, but even though I would deifinitely reccommend the place and come back!
So perfect!Luckily, I arrived right when they opened and had my choice of seating. I sat next to the window on a sunny day and enjoyed the views below of Neils Yard, as well as the people watching as others started arriving. The food was awesome and exactly what I needed. My server was great and knowledgeable about the city. She recommended a concert venue I went to that night and loved. Will absolutely return when Im back in London!
Healthy food with good service. The green Samurai burguer was good but the "Patty" could be improved. All dishes are full of flavour and the attention to details is extraordinary.
I had just half an hour for my lunch break, and was worrying I would not have enough time to eat there. That did not turn out to be the case, because the staff member - Rebecca went through the menu with me and kindly let me know how much time my choice would take. I chose the burger, that took about 5 mins to cook - so lucky! The burger was delicious and I definitely recommend it. The bun was melting in my mouth, there was seaweed that added an extra something to the dish 😋👌. Special shout out to Rebecca as she was kind and friendly, willing to help. It was my first time at the Wild Food Cafe, I will definitely come back for more of the good food and friendly environment.
Such a great experience!!! Food is beyond great and staff are really friendly!!! I can’t wait to go back and try the whole menu!!!Atmosphere is very positive. Not a lot of noise. Just great.
LOVED IT! Finding a healthy bite to eat in London is sometimes a difficult mission. Luckily Wild kitchen offers a small but amazing menu. Soup if the day with toasted buckwheat toast was a winner, to drink I ordered the medicinal hot chocolate and I was massively impressed! Flavours were spot on, the sensation of well-being afterwards was a welcomed break from the normal "carb-coma" sensation which normally follows a meal in London. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere and space was fresh and clean. Wifi was not working, but you dont need to walk far to find a free connection so no big deal.
The best vegan cafe in London. Food is outstanding- things you would not make at home ! Slightly pricey for a cafe(around £20 for my salad and chocolate shakebut worth it. Freindly service- you always get a genuine smile. This place is about raising concousness and goes beyond making good food (see website for courses they run). The atmosphere is trendy hippy young and buzzing. Unless you go in a group you will probably have to share a table. The downside to this place is its often busy so its hard to get a table and when you do the atmosphere is often noisy... not so relaxing if you want to chill. Casual /informal dress.
Very nice vegan restaurant with young atmosphere. I enjoyed mostly the salad which I dont remember its name but Im adding a picture. And it is located in a beautiful place - Neils yard.
The food was OK. Loved the mushroom toast, didnt like the soup or the almonds. They forgot about what Ive ordered - when I saw they brought the same dish to the people besides me I flagged it and it seems they had forgotten about my food. I had to eat alone. No discount or courtesy offered (they offered me almonds but I had already had them as an entree, didnt like them and just wanted my food).
Fantastic tasty good. Slightly experimental which is fantastic for vegan food. The smoothy shot was delicious. Healthy and nutritious option. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Lovely decoration. Reasonably priced.
Nice food, limited menu but thats a good thing. Service was a little slow but the place is very busy. Its a very small place and you have to share tables, which is fine until you want to leave and others are eating. But the food really is nice and is beautifully presented. I would eat here a lot if I were local.
Read my review below and consider this possibility. Saturday 4:30pm. I came with my elderly mum, excited to introduce her to the vegan menu. The guy at the entrance holding tight to his IPad informed us that the waiting time now is about 30mins and ask without really much of an empathy if we want to book a table and wait. I am not sure if I was surprised after what I experienced last time as this was absolutely different vibe. Or maybe I just couldnt get the wait if half of the tables where free and ready, not as if they would lets say wait for a group... just odd two places here and there. Well... it was raining. My mum was very tired. We couldnt wait. I regret to say... I am unticking Wild Food Cafe from my favourite places :(I was here a while ago and I know they have changed the menu by now and I cant wait to go back now! Oh... its delicious vegan food. The flavours, colours, texture, and presentation! I just felt so happy. I could not resist dessert, although bit expensive (well its near Covent Garden on the other hand). I will never forget that cheesecake! never! Best thing I have ever eaten. Such a pleasure for eyes as well. I liked also the decor and staff were very nice, friendly and helpful.
Delicious good. The smoothie was especially yummy.Menu is quite small and not expensive, so easy to try everything on the menu.2 of the items I ordered werent available. All the food came out at different times, 20 minutes in between each dish so was a good job that me and my partner were sharing the dishes and not having our own, otherwise would have waited a long time for the food.Because of this we were there for a long time, but the food was delicious.
I’d eaten here a long time ago but this time came back for something sweet and a smoothie. I had the matcha smoothie which was a bit disappointing - quite bitter, which I know it is naturally but it could have had dates or something added for flavour. The banoffee was delicious and all the staff were very approachable and interesting characters!
The Wild Food Cafe offers an interesting array of vegetarian food. It’s bohemian in style and quite a large space overlooking Neal’s Yard. Service was slow, although I did arrive on a busy-ish lunchtime during the week. The food was good and I’d happily eat there again.
Cushy cool place with really good food. I recommend the vegan burger. Cool view too. Not sure if they take reservations but we just walked in. I assume it can get busy because the place isnt that big so keep that in mind
Excellent vegan restaurant. I’m not vegan, but I’m dairy free and gluten free and this hit the spot, especially the desserts! The chocolate beet cake was the special dessert for the evening and it was similar to a dense dark chocolate candy bar melted with cocoanut cream. Not overly sweet and perfect. We also ordered two additional desserts (why not!and they were on the menu. Both were excellent - the chocolate torte and the cheesecake. The entrees were also wonderful. I had the special soup and my other two friends had the bruschetta and the tacos. I recommend both.
Lively organic food place! So far Ive tried the salad a the butternut squash bruschetta as well as the cheesecake. Absolutely delicious and full of flavor
We (2 peoplehad the Ayurvedic salad and the Shitake burger only. The space was small with communal benches and the food looked beautiful but the flavours were bland and the portions werent generous. I think this is very poor value for £35 (Inc service for just two dishes and was left quite hungry...I had high expectations before coming but I wont be going again.
A beautiful first floor vegan cafe in Neals yard. Nice decor and layout. Friendly staff. I went for the Chickpea tofu salad which was really nice. I would visit again as this was just a quick visit & the drinks and dessert options looked very nice.
Nice little spot in London for vegan food, we sat at the bar so we could see the making of some dishes and especially deserts. The seed crackers were nice as a starter, then the avocado tacos and the spaghetti as a main. Very tasty and good presented. A bit pricey and loud, hence the 4-star rating.
Its quite cosy place with friendly nice staff. This is perfect venue to share some good food with intimate friends. I ordered the awesome samurai burger and finish with tart of chocolate ( pure natural chocolate taste!). Fulfilling food with the healthy goodies from vegan food.
oh. my. god. okay first things first, the food was incredible. i didn’t realise that what i ordered was raw vegan (courgetti spaghettiand was a little bit taken aback when i bit into the “pasta” and it was entirely cold. got used to it though!! i also ordered the teriyaki almonds – Holy Moly. They are an absolute must. i was tempted into getting dessert and got a beautiful chocolate tart, and couldn’t finish it because it was so beautiful and decadent and i was already pretty full!the absolute best thing about this place though is the atmosphere. there is a very cosy casual and friendly vibe – even among the customers, there was just this element of trust and well-wishing in the air. no doubt that the influencers of that ambience are the wonderful workers. i was served by three different people, all of which were very patient with me, offered their recommendations, and clearly were enthusiastic about their job. that was just really great to see.i felt so so welcome here – there was no pretence, no judgement, just warmth, relaxed vibes. i couldn’t recommend this place more. just GO!!!!
Came here for the forth times. The cafe is located at the 1st fl., using rather small staircases to go to, besides Neals Yard Remedies shop underneath. It has a tropical feel decor, relax & non formal. Good quality of food & drinks, all are vegetarian healthy options. The juices are fresh. Some of the food taste a bit unfamiliar at first, as they arent using too much salt nor sugar.
A must do especially if you’re vegan !It really worth a stop either for eating or just having a drinkEverything is organic including wild craftedThe food is delicious and freshI love the setting of the dishes with nice wild flowers and herbsEvery plates look yummy and the quantity is correctThis place is very simple without pretension
A most creative and comfy place to enjoy raw and plantbased food. I so enjoyed the raw kombucha and the ayurvedic raw salad. Did I try their delicious icecream popsicle? You betcha and I was totally surprised and delighthed by that smoky flavor in the sauce which was served along with edible flowers and fruits. And the Samurai Burger 👌 Looking forward to next time round.😋
Super healthy food.It was filling but not very comforting - I was in the mood for proper ramen, not spiralized zucchini. The place was packed, lovely but really noisy. The chocolate tart made everything better though.
Lovely food but overpriced.Don’t get me wrong the salad I had was delicious but I don’t think it was worth £14.50. Same story for the £6.50 juice. I appreciate it’s in a very expensive neighbourhood but personally I would go elsewhere for lunch. However, the desserts looked amazing so may be back to try one of them!
The cafe is on the first floor. You could find the stairs on the left. The food is delicious. Amazing for vegetarians. The juices are amazing. They even have a botanical cola( healthier version). A bit expensive though.
Beautiful food, really tasty. Absolutely in love of the dish "queen of the forest". I wish I could give them the five stars, but their desserts contain gums as Xantan as little as I know. Also thank to Blu for such a great service, very attentive and friendly waiter.
Absolutely delicious vegan food, ultra cute interior (loved the view out the windowand lovely staff. I had the goddess bowl which was very filling and the flavours worked together very well. I especially enjoyed the sprouts and mint-y dressing. The chickpea fries we ordered were also yummy and the fried onion/lemon sauce they were smothered in was to die for. Dont even get me started on the salted caramel slice.... I couldnt ask for more to be honest and I cant wait to return !
Great food in a great location! Loved all the dishes, tried a smoothie and a desert, everything was delicious! You cant book but it wasnt crowded on a tuesday night. We paid around 50£ for 2!
Mostly raw, mostly vegan and 100% gluten-free food done *very* well, with almost every dish a visual and flavour delight.Raw food is easy to do poorly. Without the benefit of heat to unlock flavour dishes that sound great can be dull. My experience tells me that Wild Food Cafe are doing raw food extremely well. Of 6 dishes sampled, two starters, mains & sides *every* dish had striking flavour notes. This is where I would bring people dubious about raw, vegan, gluten-free food to show them how great it *can* be like. The venue is teeny tiny small and deservedly popular which means you will at almost any time find it busy and if you are in a group of less than 4 be seated alongside others. However the semi-communal tables and benches do fit with the wellbeing, social, yoga, ethos which is very much also a part of Wild Food Cafe. It reminded me of meal times taken at yoga retreats, with a friendly group chatting around a long table.Staff appear to be authentically happy and keen to please. Prices are certainly steep relative to other chains and for the portion sizes so visit for the foodie treat rather than to satiate enormous hunger!
Amazing food! At first the menu looked a bit meh, but when the food arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Absolutely delicious.
Loved this place! 🙏✨ Good food, good energy. One of my favorite vegan spots in london. Note that it will be crowded usually! But with cool people.
Went there for a lunch last week. Cosy ambience ( you mustnt be scared of communal seatings), courteous service, absolutely fantastic food; leaves you genuinely wondering how do they manage to reach such depth of flavours without cooking !
