Amazing experience.. it was clean, well maintained and beautiful. Great staff. Thank you to Captain Kevin for the awesome airboat ride. Saw some gators and birds. Keep up the good work..
MoreFriendly staff, exotic animals, fun activities and more! Animal encounters a must!Definitely worth the visit and was one of the highlights if our trip to Florida. We came here on a slight time crunch but was able to pretty much do all the included admission stuff (Animal displays , shows etc. They have a collection of exotic animals such as a variety of lemurs , sloths, capybaras and more! Yes they have gators as well !We decided to book the lemur encounter and I am so glad we did!!!We had direct interactions and were able to feed the ring tailed lemur - Sebastian , which was sooo worth it! We instantly fell in love with him. So adorable! Our guide (Taylor or Tyler, my apologieswas amazing !She was very welcoming and educated about the animals . Her passion and love for them shows which I admire and appreciate. Thank you!We saw a couple peacocks roaming around on site and visited the protected Hawks forest which had a trail you can walk through.Definitely a peaceful atmosphere here .Overall friendly staff and everyone seemed to like what they were doing. There’s a drive thru safari , gator shows, an exotic animal show and a souvenir store.Visit and support them ! Thank you for having us.
MoreGreat experience! The scenic drive to the park was just the beginning of what this place has to offer. Easy to find location, plenty of parking, well organized park/facilities, and clean. The Gator Park was educational and very interesting. You can let a gator post their regularly scheduled shows. The airboat ride was the pinnacle for my family and I. Phenomenal views, educational, and relaxing.I learned more at my time here about gators here than by any other means before. Gators are a truly amazing creature. If you’re looking for something different and a getaway from the norm, this is an experience I highly recommend.
MoreHighly recommend. We had Captain Dave, was fun, cool, found lots to see.Take the hour tour, 30 minutes flew by. After boat, they have cool area to walk around see and do other things. Place is not a tourist trap
MoreWent on the safari, fed giraffes, and walked through the gator park. My family had a wonderful time! I almost want to say this place is better than gatorland! Perfect local attraction to go to. The safari took about 45-1 hour to drive through. Definitely worth the florida resident’s tickets we purchased.
MoreAwesome customer service experience! Loved the airboat ride :as well as the park with the animals. Definitely worth the trip and worth the money! We also had a swap smoothie, 10/10!
MoreOnly saw one gator on the air boat ride because it’s summer time and gators don’t like hot weather the captain said. You get access to the zoo except the drive thru safari if you do the boat tour. Restaurant is a bit pricey but that’s expected. Nice staff and really beautiful and well maintained environment overall.
MoreThis is an amazing place to visit. We left the business of Orlando to come down here and it was probably the best drive through safari Ive ever done. Beautiful property and you get so close to the animals. Plan to spend half a day here especially if you do the air boats. Also call ahead and book the air boat tour as they sell out fast and the Florida storms come and go so quickly. But this place is highly recommended.
MoreI cannot begin to explain how amazing our experience at Wild Florida was this past Wednesday. We came with our family and my in-laws. My mother-in-law is battling breast cancer and felt well enough to join us. We brought her around the drive through safari then to the gator park. The drive through safari was great, nice to see the animals from our air conditioned car. The gator park was nice, and easy to push her in her wheelchair. The main reason I am writing this review is for how amazing Wild Floridas employees are. Everyone was upbeat and genuinely enjoyed what they did. Especially Honor. Honor went above and beyond helping us with photos and helping my mother-in-law feel like a warrior. Honor shared her story with us how she beat cancer and my mother-in-law has done nothing but talk about her since we were there. If you want to bring your family to a fun, upbeat, informative and fun place, come to Wild Florida!
MoreGot these tickets as part of our holiday deal and it was a good morning out. The airboat ride was great and the scenery beautiful. Difficult to show in pictures but if you can, give it a try
MoreWe had such an awesome time. Our airboat ride was smooth and even though it was short, due to the storm coming, our captain was able to bypass the rain without getting us rained on. We saw a couple gators. The park was clean, a lot of shows available for familys to view. The exotic show was awesome and very educational. Would definitely do it again.
MoreAbsolutely superb. A great airboat ride and everyone so friendly. See gators, the local indigenous people and souvenirs etc. Not a big attraction but that doesnt detract from the quality of facilities and the overall enjoyment. Also, a pretty good price compared to most other attractions. Definitely recommend.
MoreMy wife and I had a great time at the park! We did the gator feeding encounter and it was amazing. The park is very clean and the staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area!
MoreExcellent selection of wildlife and you can get extremely close for photos. Best safari and giraffe feeding that I’ve attended! Great budget friendly event compared to other things to do in Florida. Tasty snacks as well
MoreTodays adventure to Wild Florida was truly impressive. Many times, when you visit an attraction with children you leave feeling like you didnt come out ahead. That is not the case with Wild Florida. First, we took a thirty minute airboat tour of the lake. Captain Todd was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It went way beyond a typical ride. From there we enjoyed something to eat at the on-site restaurant. Again, I was shocked with the bang-for-your-buck value. It wasnt a gourmet meal, but it didnt have to be. We then took a stroll through their nature preserve and saw Macaws, skunk, baby alligator, teenage alligator, adult alligator, albino alligator, turtles, and much more. This was truly a wonderful stop in our family vacation.
MoreBooked our trip sort of last minute after our big group was on the fence during the whole trip. We booked the one hour airboat tour. Unfortunately, we spotted lightning and had to cut it short by 40 minutes. We werent expecting anything but our captain said to ask the front desk if anything could be done so we asked anyways. Even then, we only expected a partial refund at most. It wasnt their fault the weather didnt play nice, and we did board the boat. The supervisor offered a full refund and we still got to go on the gator park tour. The gator park was much bigger than we expected - sloths, gators, animals from different countries, and even a petting zoo with goats and turkeys. Our kids loved it and wished we could have finished the air boat ride. My only regrets are not tipping Lauren(our captainmore money for our short ride and not planning more time to go through the safari tour.Ps - we visited at 3pm on a Tuesday. Not overly crowded or too busy for our liking.
MoreWe absolutely LOVE this place! We did the boat tour on Saturday at 9:00 am so we arrived around 8:20, plenty of parking spaces (by 10:00-11:00 am was completely packedand we checked in and waited until our boat arrived. Beautiful views, boat is pretty noisy, but tolerable, we saw a couple of baby alligators, which was awesome, and a lot of birds. The captain of the boat was knowledgeable and nice. I think his name was Bobby. After the boat tour we were allowed to go to the park and see the different exhibits and animals. We fed alligators, we even hold a baby one (with permission and supervision obviously). We pet baby goats, and a tiny pig , they were adorable! . All the staff are super friendly and nice!! For sure we’ll be back soon . 100% recommended!
MoreWild Florida was awesome!!!!! Drive thru the Wild Florida adventure in our Truck with windows rolled down. Saw 30+ different animals...was like going to a Zoo on wheels. Kids had a blast searching for animals on the scavenger hunt pamphlet Wild Florida gave us. We bought a package thru Groupon which included a meal and digital photos with "Fluffy". So check this out you get to eat in your vehicle while then observe animals in the Wild...how awesome is that!!! We even had on animal believe its called a Rhea (similar to an Ostrich or Emuthat walked alongside the Truck and was infatuated with the Tires, stuck its stinking head inside the Tire well, then began to run beside the Truck as I sped up to 5mph of course...😉! We enjoyed our trip to Wild Florida so much and stayed so long that we didnt get to take our pictures with "Fluffy" or do Gator Park. I spoke with Nicole whos on staff there and she gave us a "rain check" to come back and finish both! Great time, friendly staff...highly recommend bringing the family. They even offer Air Boat Rides too. Well do this next time we go back!!
MoreThis place was AMAZING! Captain Dennis was awesome on the airboat, we seen about 15 gators and countless birds, even a few snakes! We will definitely do this again, only when its cooler. It was blazing hot in the sun!The park was great too! We held a Fluffy the gator and got pics with him. The exhibits were clean and well kept. And we LOVED feeding the gators too.The drive thru safari was great too, loved the camel 🐫🐫 and the giraffes 🦒🦒. Gators, elk, deer 🦌🦌, lemurs, bison 🦬🦬, zebras 🦓🦓🦓, antelopes, and alot of others! This whole 3 part WILD Florida park was totally worth it!
MoreI would live here if I could. The staff is fantastic and always kind. When I was fighting cancer I couldn’t walk around the gator park so went to try the drive through safari, I had a BLAST! I even had enough energy to feed the giraffes. I then came back once I went into remission and walked around the gator park. Such a fun and inexpensive place to bring your friends and family! Can’t wait to come back soon with my family to celebrate going into remission/NED for the third time this year! #Survivor
MoreHighly recommend! My fiancé and I got a GroupOn for WildFlorida and it was worth every penny! We got there at 12:30pm and left at closing 6:00pm. Honestly, we could have gotten there earlier and still would have left at closing because there is so much to do! And that was without the airboat ride. The weather was drizzling but the animals were still out and about! The cool thing about the drive thru is that you can stop along the way for as long as you like and watch nature do it’s thing! Food was great, animals ranged from local to exotic. We got to hold an alligator!! This place is a gem! We want to go back! Thanks Wild Florida!!
MoreDefinitely a must do when visiting Florida. An airboat ride with access to the gator zoo, which has more than gators to see ( better to book the airboat in advance as the time slots get snapped up quickly especially the earlier ones). There are plenty of parking spaces, use the overflow when the carpark at the shop is full. Dont park on the other side as these are kept for vehicles with boat trailers. The gift shop is fully stocked with merchandise and has aircon. There is food, snacks and drinks available to purchase. The half hour airboat ride we purchased was the first we have been on that we actually seen wild gators during the day. Our Captain, Captain Farmer was brilliant, professional, full of local knowledge and had a great sense of humour. The small zoo had lots of different animals to see, you even got to feed some for a very nominal fee. The onsite toilets were very clean.
MoreIt was really a great experience. We went to celebrate a special birthday and did the vip sloth experience. The handlers were friendly and knowledgeable and funny! All of the staff there were super nice and it was a great value. They had a value pack for feed that was perfect and holding fluffy the gator was pretty cool. If you are interested you should go
MoreEverytime I visit Wild Florida I leave loving it a little bit more and I never think it can be improved. In comparison to the traditional parks it is a lot cheaper, you get great value for money and you get to see a different side of central Florida. We did two of the animal experiences which are really good value for money (less than $100 for twoand got up close and personal with a lemur and a porcupine. We booked in advance and would recommend this to allow you to look forward to your experience - the lemur experience has a maximum of four people at a time. The food choice is great, staff are amazing and the gift shop is really well priced. We didnt do the airboat ride this time but it is also a favourite.
MoreHad more fun here than Universal and Disney. Never liked seafood but ate the fried gator and catfish just to say I did, it was amazing. Saw cool animals and my toddler had a great time.
MoreWe had a good time. For the airboat ride, it was really convenient that the supplied hearing protection, but it is better to bring your own foam earplugs, I used both. They have food to buy there, but very limited menu, and they get busy so it takes a while. Next time I will bring my own lunch. The highlight was watching the gators get fed, and the ostrich come right up to the window. We went on a Monday and it didnt seem crowded at all
MoreAmazing!! Such a great experience and worth every penny. Staff was friendly, airboat ride was an absolute blast, drive through park was such a great time and the gator park was just cool. So many exotic animals that we got to see throughout the park. Kiddos loved the petting zoo and feeding the alligators. Photos with Fluffy the alligator was the highlight of their entire trip. Loved it!
MoreAir boat ride was good. Great tour operator. Did the hour ride, it was relaxing and plenty to see. Best one in the Orlando area for sure.Word to the wise..Get there early because parking fills up quickly. There is an overflow lot though. Big souvenir store.
MoreIts hard, when youre up to your armpits in alligators, to remember you came here to drain the swamp. Ronald ReaganVery good place to spend with family one day. A lot of alligators even show is really good.
MoreWild Florida is a great place. It was a lot of fun. It is not a full day unless you want to spend a lot of money. We did just an animal interaction & just walked around. If you want to do the air boat ride & drive through safari you can spend a full day. But even if you want to do even one of those things, I definitely recommend it. The staff is super friendly & zoo keepers speak very highly of the place. The food is well priced, good quality, & the corn bread is fantastic. We bought more on the way out. Definitely worth the trip & we will be making another this year.
MoreAmazing experience! Animals are up close and well cared for, staff was nice and helpful. Seems a lot more cars than I expected to be and some slight traffic on the safari due to animals crossing so must pay attention. The gator and exotic animal part is a nice addition. I feel like there is more to see and will be back!
MoreGenuine family fun here south of Orlando in Kenansville, Florida. We stayed in Central Florida for a little over a week and had many varied adventures and misadventures, this was probably our favorite stop overall. Captain Dennis air boat ride was great (Good Guy, easy to talk to and we very much appreciated the conversation and knowledge of the surrounding area), we did see several Alligators as well as some other local wildlife including Blue Herons and Bald Eagles. As for the park I appreciated the layout being less of a tourist attraction and more like an animal park (which is what we were hoping forstaff was great, educational experiences were great, arrangement of the park was excellent as well. Thank you to the staff for keeping my daughter safe when she escaped my in-laws. Will visit again in the future, good luck with the park!
MoreNice activity to do with kids .did the half hour tour but one hour or more is also avaliable. We actually spotted few gators plus a baby. Some other wildlife can be spotted too. Overall great experience with a friendly staff. There is also a nice small zoo and petting zoo too. You can also feed gators. Animal encounter is also a nice experience. You can choose Sloth, porcupine and couple of other animals to go in thier enclosures and tiuch/feed them.
MoreThrilling drive thru safari and animal park. Paid extra to feed the giraffes. Definitely a fun experience. Animals seemed happier here than at the zoo. Wished the reptile center was open when we visited.
MoreGood food, yummy ice cream drinks. Air boats were fun. Everything was fun..no waiting like everywhere else in Florida. Lots of interactive experiences available and a petting zoo that was awesome..
MoreThe photos say it all!We took our daughter for her birthday. Took the air boat ride, which was super fun and got to see some gators in their homes. Our captain was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Then we had the encounter with Simon, Alvin, and Theodore... 3 very cute and friendly capybaras. This was the highlight of my daughters day for sure. Our guide was so friendly. She has been working with the capybaras since they were little and you can truly tell she care for them. My daughter wants to visit her new friends again soon 😁The rest of the park is laid out very nice with no real congestion points. Bathrooms are well placed around the park, as are snack areas. We did not eat at the restaurant but it smelled amazing. The next time we head down we will be checking out the drive through safari. It is a wonderful place to spend the day, with great staff and awesome animals. I would recommend this to anyone.
MoreSeriously best place I been in Florida I am a local and Im so happy I found this gem. Not only is it the cleaness animal zoo ever the animals are so well taken care of. The birds say I love u and all the animals are so friendly. The shows were amazing . The gator guy is awesome and so brave. We got to play with lots of birds in theyre cage with food so they flock to you. It was amazing. The petting zoo was great to many baby goats to play with as well as other animals. They have a kid play area , snack hut, restaurant, and plenty of benches as well . Peacocks roam free they are so beautiful. I truly cant say enough about this place I am definitely getting a seasons pass. Florida resident 7 dollars for adult 5 for kids different prices for the giraffe feeding and drive thru safari and animal close encounters. Thanks for the amazing day with my family
MoreThis was, hands down, the most pleasant surprise of our vacation. The facilities are professional, the staff was fantastic, the air boat ride was amazing, and the exhibits were first class. To be honest, we enjoyed this more than our day at Sea World. We will definitely it make a point to come back!
MoreWe had a private boat tour with Kevin. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. We enjoyed seeing gators, bald eagles, turtles, birds, etc.Highly recommend this if you want something unique to do in the area. It was a nice break from the amusement parks.
More10/10 recommend! Our airboat captain was great! Very knowledgeable, funny and showed us many cool things. Saw so many beautiful birds and even an endangered snail hawk. Saw gators, turtles and a bunch of baby gators. Such a fun ride, made great memories! The animal park was just a bonus, definitely check it out and feed the gators!
MoreIts hard to describe how astonishing this facility is. A one hour airboat ride, personal visit with two ring tailed lemurs, Alligator feeding, and a petting zoo. My family created some lifetime memories here. The lemurs stole the show!
MoreMy family had a wonderful time at Wild Florida. The boat tour was relaxing and very enjoyable. Bobby was an awesome tour guide. My kids had the best time feeding the gators, big and small, and we all enjoyed seeing the various animals up close. Better than the typical zoo experience by far. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this as a stop while in the Orlando area. I also recommend going earlier in the day if youre on a later boat tour because there is much more to do and see than I expected. The food was amazing as well!We did the safari tour after our boat tour. The kids enjoyed every second of seeing the animals so closely. Our car was even attacked by an angry ostrich (or maybe emu). We found it funny but the poor bird wasnt so amused. The park is run very well and the kids even got a map to track what animals they saw. Cannot recommend this enough.
MoreWe stopped in on a whim and Im so glad we did! We had such a fun time! The Florida resident deals are awesome. Cant wait to being the kids!
MoreThis place was so much fun. And our Airboat Captain Lauren with pretty painted red nails, was AWESOME. She grew up around the Airboats, and is knowledgeable about the areas and could answer all questions asked from our group. Lauren was engaging, personable, and fun. The safari drive thru was fun, go at your own pace. Stuff I havent seen before. Loved the animals from different countries.
MoreJust finished this adventure and I must say it was well worth the money spent. A first class operation all the way.Air boat captain (Kevindid an outstanding job of showing us bald Eagles , alligators an other marsh wildlife. The wildlife park drive through was an extremely pleasant surprise. A large variety of high plains wildlife and at a very close up look. One of the best we have been to.
MoreWe visited the gator park and went on a 1 hour airboat ride. The workers were very friendly and our kids enjoyed the entire visit and the gift shop full of taxidermy. I didn’t realize that our air boat tour also included admission to the gator park so that was a fun surprise and great way to pass the time while we waited for our tour.
MoreDid the drive through safari. Better than expected plenty of animals to see and take pictures of. The Gator park was also nice and should be great for kids.
MoreGreat family outing! Great little zoo and a long safari of herbivores animals. Lots of African and North American 4 legged animals along with emus and ostriches. They said it takes 1 1/2 hours for the safari but we did it in 44 minutes and we were stopping for pictures. Please make sure you visit with ample time since theres a lot to do and see.Its a nice place for a birthday party, you can also go on an airboat ride.
MoreCant say enough good things about this park! We bought a half day package which included an hour boat tour (Captain Kevin was amazing!A meal (absolutely deliciousa souvenir and alligator feed. We even tried the alligator bites. (Sorry guysThe enclosures were very nice providing the animals hammocks to sleep in and plenty of toys to keep them occupied. The shows were great and the staff very knowledgeable. We did run into two grumpy employees but that didnt deter me! The park is clean, wheelchair/scooter accessible. The giraffe 🦒 feed could be a little better. The safari was great as well! I highly recommend this place as a family day! It really is an all day adventure well worth the time and money! My family and I absolutely loved it!
MoreThe air boat ride was fantastic. Seeing the alligators, beautiful birds, flowers, the scenery was incredible. We did an hour and it was perfect. Our boat captain Todd was great. He stopped to show us everything. A lot of fun. We walked through the safari and did the drive through and we saw some amazing animals up close. A great morning we had.
