Wickie Wackie Beach in Kingston

A pleasant stroll along this beach is just what is needed....it appears safe to walk but I definitely wouldnt advise anyone to go swimming

Loved my time here, theres a lovely bar and bonfire on the shore and the waves were so peaceful.

Nice relaxing getaway. Benches and garbage bins are available here and if ur eating some dogs will surely pay u a visit for the bones. Never saw a shop available for beverages nor was there any entertainment however if ur looking for a nice meditation place or a place to get away from the busy world this place can be considered.

Walking this beach is entirely therapeutic.

Quiet place/black sand beach to relax without the crowd. No facilities just a place to walk. Note, water is more for surfing and can be dangerous for a non-swimmer.

Nice wet the foot or surf beach. Not crowded, stone/rough sand beach. Calm and quiet.

Real good vibes out at Wickie Wackie. Water rough which is best for really good swimmers or surfers, but the black sands area really calming and great for exercise. Good place for bonfires as well. Always remember to keep the beach clean!

Nice beach on the east coast of Jamaica. It has rougher waters so its more suited for good swimmers and surfing

Waters are deep but if you are like me you would stay close to shore and let the waves caress your feet. So relaxing! And by the way, they are trying to rebuild the reefs. Awesome idea.

This is a quick walk from home. Always a nice getaway. Peaceful waves and solitude.

It is always a great place to visit!Sea breeze blowing, waves crashing to the shore line mountains behind you and all the space you need to kick back and relax.Seems to be quite popular with the older men and younger women if you know what I mean "hideout"I reccomend this place!

It was great! I went on a public holiday and surprisingly it wasnt crowded! Its a cool spot to go to and it wasnt hard to find. Just bring food on your way there.

The rustic setting is there for appreciation by the outdoor type. Seas are continually rough but a walk along the beach is refreshing.

Not a developed recreational beach. A bit off the beaten bath, you will pass it if to dont look carefully. Its gravel not sand and the waves can be monster. So I wouldnt bring the kids on a windy day.

On the day that I visited, it wasnt busy so it I had a lovely time and the beach was clean

The water is really dangerous dont enter if you cant swim extremely well, plus it has too many harsh rocks.

High energy beach so the water was not the typical Jamaica beach but I found a spot away from all the activities and it was beautiful.

Wickie Wackie presents an alternative beach option to Portmore being within a few minutes of the airport roundabout. The beach tends to be quiet, not with the hoardes you see elsewhere. No food on sale or bar means you will have to bring what youd like to have but that means you will have far more privacy than the Portmore options.Being on the eastern end of the island, the water is rougher and rocky as opposed to sandy.

Unfortunately I can’t give it zero stars. Hidden away in the back of a community you’ll waste half your time just trying to find the beach. When you get there it’s nothing but a barren location with only a few fishermen. No music, no vibes, empty. The sea is too rough for pleasure swimming and the lounge area I see everyone posting is presumably private property and regular people are not allowed to go. Don’t waste your time.

Beach is open seas rough...Nice for strong swimmers and surfers. Great place to catch some rays, chill and unwind.

Best place to get away for a quiet moment with only the waves and your thoughts. You can get in a bit of surfing here and a few of the locals do and further down the beach where the waves are larger. Theres an annual music festival and you rent a room or camp here. The spot is occasionally used to host music events
