White Sand Beach - Scenic point in Phangnga, Thailand
Great Thai food and really nice staff
Nice beach . Good food . Price is ok . 100 bhat for set sun bed
Lovely location, incredibly friendly staff and great food! I reccomend the chicken massaman soup!
Awesome restaurant with great staff overlooking the beautiful white sand beach. We didn’t eat much save for the fruits and coconut so we can’t comment on the foo, but I highly recommend lounging on their chairs while soaking in the sun.You don’t need to eat at the restaurant to enter the beach so you can just walk right through to the beach.
Very high tide in the morning. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. 50thb per sunbed. Fruit shakes for 70/80 thb. Frozen cocktails for 130thb. Great place to visit. Fully recommend.
Not the best restaurant in the area but nice view
Still all closed up . But the beaut beach still there .Lot areas in khao lak still closed check b4 go
Very nice atmosphere in this beach Restaurants, very clean and super nice staff. Food was delicious. Recommend the whole fish
Beautiful place, nice shade trees at the resort and on the beach, lots of hermit and ghost crabs-be careful about swimming! I was in the water about 3 minutes and got stung by a big jellyfish!
Very good ambience and beachPoor vegetarian food options
Our two young people learned to surf in under two hoursVery good staffCleanHighly recommend it for anyone who wishes to learn how to surf
Delicious foods with a superb view and relaxing atmosphere
Quiet beach with restaurants by the front
Good food, sunbeds, beach and seawater
The beach was stunning and very well located, the water is clear and it was not too busy. The food in the restaurant was good and the price relatively the same than in the rest of Khao Lak (between 100-150 baht for a meal)
Lovely atmosphere with descent food. Service was friendly and fast. We had fried squid, panang pork, papaya salad and fried fish with garlic. They all tasted fine, but very touristy. Price was not cheap either. If you want to drink something near the beach, then this place is great. But wouldnt come for food again.
Nice resort at the beach
A pack of dogs are there to chase tourists. Beach is like others. Dont visit due to dogs
Ordered the pineapple fried rice, mix vegetable, and green curry. A big bottle of Chang beer cost ฿120, just to give you a sense of the pricing in this restaurant.Taste wise not bad but also not that great, nothing to shout about. There are also alot of different varieties to choose from apart of the local dishes including Western and Italian. But the main reason youd want to come here is mostly because of the fantastic sea view. It is situated next to the beach, just a good place to chill, relax, and enjoy the rest of your day!
Fantastic location, right on the beach, and extremely reasonable prices. Good, friendly service and a very wide selection of food, which is freshly cooked. Like all thai restaurants, each dish comes out separately, so you may have finished your rice before the chicken comes out fir example - but this is the thai way, and at least you know each dish is freshly cooked to order. Recommended
Long long beautiful beach:with big cafe on it.
Absolutely beautiful restaurant on the beach. Friendly and very attentive staff. A huge menu with tons of options for anything you crave. Very clean kept and well designed layout. Gorgeous beach front, truly white sand and incredible blue ocean front. A must try, definitely coming back!
A very nice and cozy beach! The restaurant thats by the beach..the staff will serve you drinks even down on the beach if you are using a sunbed. Clean and fresh public toilets..go visit!
4.75 to be exact, but a 4 rating is to low. Beautiful sunset, great food (white snapper), beef and vegetables with cashews, all around excellent place. Most importantly, very well affordable!
Great spot. I was really surprised and glad to have visited this lovely place and beach area. Sand is really beautiful, facilities were clean, parking lot, food was good, service was also good and I felt the waiters were genuinely friendly and not pushy at all. They have a beach area where you can rent beach chair(2with umbrella for 150/day. If you want to eat, they also have this beautiful sandy area under the trees and palms where you sit to watch the ocean. I like that although the place was busy, it felt also quiet. We took a long walk along the beach and it was all clean and gorgeous. My only recommendation is that they should try to use reusable straws for their drinks since the single plastics are a huge problem in Thailand. Being green is fashionable now : )
Friendly staff. Good food and reasonable prices. Only the beer is bit over priced. Food for two person came really quickly. Also the beach is very nice. There is a small walk to coconut beach, but I liked the White Beach more.
Nice beach, better than the beach in the hotels area, its not real white Sand like you can find in the tropical islands, but still pretty and relaxing environment around. There is also Thai restaurant in the beach, good prices and good food.
This is Ao Thong Beach Restaurang. Best place to spend holiday in Khao Lak.
Pros: good for families,Clean, quiet, amazing beach, nice restaurant,Friendly staff, clean toliet and showerCons: a bit far,
Very good place, and glad we came across it. The food is about half the price of the hotel were staying in, but is very tasteful. Some might think the portions are smaller, but that depends on what you order, for example, seafood is a bit more expensive, so you get less compared to beef, pork or chicken.Well recommended, the staff are very pleasant. We have 12 nights left here, and guess where were going to eat...
Another great beach in the area. The restaurants are hit and miss. Better to grab some snacks and post up under the trees just north of the parking area. Shallow waters good for swimming at high or low tide.
White Sand Beach has gained a reputation throughout the years as one of those spots to visit while in the Khao Lak area. Due to this reputation it is hard to find someone that visits Khao Lak and has not donned a motor scooter and headed over to check the place out.The beach is very nice and the location is quite beautiful. Traveling south along the beach you will wrap around to a peninsula known as cape Pakarang. Pakarang = coral in Thai and therefore Cape Coral is the direct translation. This is a nice area to explore often with little to no people around. The cape is ALL coral so not much grows there so ensure you bring your sun screen and water with you.Anyway back to White Sand. The area is highlighted by a large outdoor restaurant nestled in the trees directly off the beach. The view of the sea is really nice to see while you enjoy your lunch or dinner and maybe a few beverages. Now I said restaurant however, the place is more of a hang out with many sun chairs and beautiful coral sand. The "hang out" area has seating for at least a couple hundred and is usually always bustling with activity during the high season.Directly next to the restaurant is the only true 5 star resort currently in the area ( the Sarojinand there beach chairs are out in generally the same location creating a crowded, but happening feel in the area. The area is nice, the food is good, the beers are cold and there is usually lots of people if that is what you are looking for.
Great place to kick back at ,,,and drink and eat and lay about, not great for swimming in August hardly no beach tide comes in to far in August
Amazing, quiet, almost no tourists. Few of them only spread in a huge area. Loved the beach!
Delicious Thai food, great cocktails and amazing atmosphere.... beach side. Great for kids and adults alike. Dishes are small in size so order a few to try!! Will return.
Excellent food, lovely setting, make sure to grab a massage too.
Nice beach, white sand and enough place to take sun and walk on the beach.
Nice place to visit. A lot of places to eat for resonable prices. Massage to the same prices as in central Khao Lak and beach beds for rent. Went here twice during our stay.
Lovely beach with chairs to rent, restaurants and bars. Taxis available here
We spent an amazing xmas here. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and fun. The villas are excellent. They have a slight musty smell, but thats because they are in the jungle. The water is great for swimming, not for snorkeling (for that go on a tour to the islands). The food is very good. Its a little expensive, but the quality is good.
Lovely restaurant on the beach.Great menu with a good variety of foods including thai food, sandwiches and burgers, cocktails, fruit smoothies. Sun loungers available as well a clean toilets and showers.
This was by far our favourite restaurant in the area. We celebrated a 50th here. The staff laid out a long table on the beach, complete with palm leaves dug into the sand, candle were laid our around us in paper bags and balloons strung up to create a party atmosphere. The food was great, the staff friendly and the hermit crabs sociable.
No white sand on this beach. The only white stuff you will find there are the plastic bags filled with sand to build the terrace. You will also find loads of them hanging in the trees further down the beach...
Great food and good service. The Green Curry wasnt at all what I was expecting but it was amazing.
Beautiful beach. Very well designed restaurant unfortunately it was closed when we got here looked like some renovation work going on. The beach is very clean and nice and really pretty white.
We come here for several years now. Never complained but this time there was no water in the bungalow for almost 3 days. They did not handle the situation well. Is it a problem of language ? No. Maybe a problem of embarrassement. But communication about the problem and/or solution was inexistant. Dear management, next time in case of a problem, COMMUNICATE ! Problem was finally solved but in 3 days you have thoughts and we thought several times to ask for our money back. But as I said we come here for several years now and we were patient. Its still a good place to stay in Khaolak. Situation is great and the place is quiet. Food is as expected and prices are average. The place is clean and some of the staff understand and manage to speak english. Wifi is all over the place and even on the beach.
Its a nice white sand blue beach. Fantastic views. Nice beach with less waves so its a nice place to swim. The umbrella seats on the beach cost 150thb for 2 seats. Free shower on buying umbrella seats. Its a private beach so either we need to buy drink from the restaurant or pay for the umbrella seat.
Often called the best beach of Khao Lak and that is for good reason. Very beautiful, long beach which means it has a lot of capacity. Chairs can be rented but that doesnt detract front the beauty of the beach. Lovely place.
Gret beach with old trees giving natural shadow. It can be short with high tide.
This place is one of the most popular tourist destinations n the area. The sea is always calm and there are miles of empty beaches to explore. There are restaurants, massage and bungalows for rent. The food and service good but a little pricey. Great place for kids and elderly to come.
