White Rabbit Chocolatiers - Cafe in Beverley, United Kingdom
Amazing selection of chocolate. Amazing taste of chocolate. Great staff who works on that that shiff during my visits. Not many seat as this is a small business cafe, few outside for the wheelchair user and some more inside. If you would like afternoon tea set with sandwiches need to booked it a day before. Toilet is very clean located on top floor.
Amazing! Loved the different chocolates using star anise, chillies, etc.
This is a hidden gem.I drive 200 miles for the salted caramel ice cream every year!Love everything else.
The wife and I had lunch here after viewing a house. Very good chocolatiers that also do food in their cafe.I had the chicken and chorizo with brown toast which was excellent; the biscotti milkshake was amazing!!Based on my experience I would certainly recommend a visit whether you’re looking for some lunch or a gift for someone this establishment has it covered!
I visited the White Rabbit for dessert and ordered a hot chocolate and the milk chocolate dipper with strawberries (£6), as the selection of cakes at the counter was quite limited. The fondue only came with 6 strawberries so there was a little chocolate left over at the end, which I didnt really mind as I ate it with a spoon. The chocolate seemed to be of good quality and the hot chocolate was also nice.
They offer many types of choccolate, i had a latte on this occasion it came with a couple of choccolate buttons, i really enjoyed it!
Great hot chocolate place and chocolate specialty store!
Delicious coffee plus gluten free cakes available.Friendly staff, highly recommended 😊
A real ShameWhat pray is the point of taking an order for said to be un filled. Was told it could be made and posted out..But chocolate tile for a wedding....
We ordered an easter egg for our 4 year old daughter. The unicorn design and decoration was excellent and the chocolate tastes amazing too. There was even a nice hidden suprise inside the egg. Highly recommended.
Amazing dark hot chocolate and some fantastic chocolates 🍫:definitely worth a visit !
My birds brother and sister-in-law once went here. I expect that they probably entered the premises using the front door, which I know to be fully functional.
Is a nice place to take a break with fantastic chocolate
Hot chocolate fantastic as always! Slightly concerned at the number of customers allowed in the cafe at once though...little bit too close for comfort
Great menu if u have a sweet tooth. Great selections of chocolate in the shop. Its best to book as there are only 4 tables.
Always a pleasure to eat and White Rabbit, staff are always very polite and helpful. The food never disappoints and the chocolate is amazing.
Chocolate galore. Great staff. Gets very busy so recommend booking a table. Love visiting here. Shop inside. Savoury options including toasties with a chocolate vinaigrette. Hot chocolates, milkshakes and chocolate fondues. Very very tasty. Short walk from tesco car park if you want free parking for up to 3 hours.
Nice place to visit for Chocolate Lovers.Good service and a very good selection of great tasting confectionery and Hot ChocolatesPlenty of shops nearby as well for shoperhollics + good nearby parking facilities.
A lovely cafe and specialist chocolate shop. One of my favourite places in Beverley.
The cafe was brilliant. Really tasty cakes and drinks and lovely staff
Fantastic! Would recommend this place to everyone. They have a tasty menu, which we will be trying once things return to more normality. Thank you.... 😍
Always get a friendly welcome here. The hot chocolates are beautiful. Love the choice of loose leaf teas too.
Top tier chocolate, a choice of eating in, in the cozy cafe or buying some choc to go but whichever you chose there is no doubt its delectable
Superb gluten free cakes quality tea and great service the chocolates arent bad either.Visit
Used to love this place but sadly two things have let it down recently, firstly the hot chocolates used to be amazing but last time just not great at all and felt really on the spot when I asked the staff about this who seemed offended at my question, and secondly chocolate range and availability is really poor. their rosemary caramel sea salt is phenomenal and thankfully still available but struggling with what used to be a five star local place I used to be proud to support
Col and I visited here last Friday. Great coffee, lovely cakes, friendly staff, service is excellent. We give it 10/10.
We have been customers of White Rabbit for quite some time and up to now have found quality and service top notch. Our favourite is dark hot chocolate which has been both rich and satisfying. But on the last two visits we have been presented with very bland dark hot chocolate lacking in taste. I pointed this out on payment and the usual chocolate maker informed me that other customers had also complained and the problem was down to new smaller dispensing buttons on the machine and inexperienced part time staff who are told the specific quantity of chocolate to add but don’t listen. On both occasions I asked for water but none was forthcoming until I asked a second time. The A1 service seems to have slipped which is sad in my view!
First time for coffee and savoury snack. Enjoyed both and then theres the chocolate which is still yum yum.
Poor service. Waited 10 mins for our order to be taken whilst tables arriving afterwards were served immediately. Wrong drinks brought to table. No teaspoon with the tea and no where to put the teabags. Food unceremoniously put on table with no indication of which toastie was which. Toasties were luke warm...Food ok but coffee excellent. I get the impression that staff are inexperienced. Would I go again....probably not.
Lovely yummies, relaxed place, lovely and helpful staff. You can buy one or as many as you like of their chocolates.
Amazing coffee shop and chocolatier. Clean, friendly and good quality food.
Lovely range of chocs by local independent shop. Always a great place to go when stuck for a present.
Delicious coffee with complimentary dark chocolate buttons, the friendly and efficient waitress served us a carafe of cold water to refresh us and clean our palate before we had our coffees.Set in a quiet little back street and with outside and interior seating, this was a lovely spot to just sit and relax. They have a resident chocolatier, their savoury menu looked tasty and we enjoyed the complimentary chocolate buttons so much we bought a bag to take away with us.
The best hot chocolate with lots of different types to choose from! Definitely somewhere to go for a real treat!
Lovely little place, out if the way location but busy. Great food, atmosphere and fantastic chocolate fondue. Cant wait to return soon!
Fabulous hot chocolate, very friendly service, lovely cosy atmosphere
This place is what Thorntons used to be. Pleasant, hidden away shop filled with sweet treats and a lovely cafe. Staff are friendly and hospitable. The produce is great. Give it a whirl.
This was my second visit to the White Rabbit. The first involved just a visit to the shop to buy a birthday cake. There is a good choice and range of prices. You naturally pay extra for the excellent chocolate incorporated into the cake but great if you want something a bit special and different. The chocolates on sale looked equally tempting and I noticed that the smallish café attached was full of customers. I liked the comfortable, quirky, themed décor and decided to visit. We did so the following week. There is a good range of coffees with hot milk available if required in small and large sizes. The prices are very reasonable. Hot chocolate is obviously on sale. It comes in milk, white, dark caramel, orange or strawberry flavours. You can even make your own with a hot choc stick and there are rich and intense adult hot chocolates and milder ones for kids. A whole range of treats are available including Choc Afternoon Tea, Choc Three Ways, Chocolates on the Side of freshly baked cakes. I can recommend the brownies that come in a range of flavours.Service is good and the café is comfortable if a little tight. There are clean and fresh toilet facilities available but at some distance. Be aware that you must trek upstairs. The White Rabbit is well worth a visit.More recently we revisited with a view to trying the hot chocolate and were delighted. You can buy cups in three sizes from “kids” at £2 to “large” at £3.15. We went for the “medium” which was big enough and chose the traditional chocolate although there is a good choice of flavours to be had. You can buy “extras” such as marshmallows, cream, chocolate curls or the “works” for 95 pence. If this is insufficient there are three speciality hot chocolates at £3.95.The hot chocolate was delicious and looked so tempting. It was drizzling and dull outside but the hot chocolate made us feel warm and satisfied. It was certainly tasty and comforting. I can well imagine how superb it would be in the middle of winter. We will be back. The White Rabbit doesn’t miss a trick…
A lovely, friendly atmosphere. Great food and drinks. Really friendly staff with smiles on their faces
Lovely service and AMAZING chocolate, unfortunately on the pricey side but worth it for the gorgeous chocolate fondue with meringue!
Like this place very much. The chocolate is superb and always enjoy the choc button. Please go back to making the large chocolate biscuits again, we miss those.b
The hot chocolates here are amazing and the recent fathers day purchases we made went down a real treat!Lovely atmosphere and the staff really are welcoming and attentive!Thank you, we will be back soon for more delicious treats!!
Its a lovely place to grab a quick coffee or treat yourself to one of their special hot chocolate drinks. A snack can be had but we didnt have time today. There is alway a good selection of scrumptious cakes to indulge your sweet tooth if that takes your fancy. It does get very busy especially on a Saturday so a little patience may be required.
This place is simply awesome. Really enjoyed the Spanish hot chocolate and getting the chocolates on the side is worth it.
Hand crafted chocolate very gorgeous and plenty of different types of chocolate and flavours to choose from. A small cafe to relax and enjoy a nice hot drink or ice cream.
This is an excellent shop. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the quality of the products is very high and yet the prices are reasonable. I frequently shop in there for gifts for friends and family.Ive also enjoyed coffee and cake there too. White Rabbit adds class to chocolate retailing.
The best hot chocolate Ive ever had! Nice atmosphere and top quality products.
Just popped into here by chance for a hot chocolate to go, amazing, never known a place to have so many variations of hot chocolate! Not in terms of flavour but in terms of the different ways theyre made and different qualities of chocolate to suit anyones tastes, they also have a large range of hand made chocolates to buy either individually or in multiples.
Amazing chocolate shop, small but perfectly formed with some great products. Havent tried the hot chocolate but they offer a small cafe service. Always great friendly service, so we try and pop in every time we go to Beverley.
a fantastic shop with top quality chocolates, worth every penny and the staff are fantastic. Make sure to pop in for a coffee and to spoil yourself with a few of their truffles.
