I photographed a summer outdoor wedding at Stouffville museum. The museum staff were very helpeful to ensure the whole event run smoothly. The venue has a lot of picturesque spots and its an excellent spot for hosting an intimate wedding outside of the city.

This is good for little kids. For my 10year old there arent many activities!

We held my sons wedding at the Whitchurch-Stoville museum and it was an excellent facility. The staff was very friendly and helpfull and the museum was incredible.

Make sure to visit the Brown House. A great representation of old world Stouffville. I love looking at and experiencing the history of our town!

Excellent hospitality, beautiful facility

Our company regularly uses this facility for health and safety training sessions. The rooms can comfortably hold over 80 people with clear site lines to the trainer. Clean facilities and very accommodating staff. If I had one complaint it would be that they need more parking but they have arrangements with surrounding businesses.

Great place to learn local history.

I had attended my cousins wedding here and it was beautiful. The weather helped as the ceremony was outdoors but regardless there was plenty of opportunity for original photos. The property is large with lots of interesting history to explore. I would recommend a tour for anyone interested in the local heritage as there is lots to see and learn.

I was nearby a park and stayed there the night no motels in area.Unfortunately I did not go inside the building but it was well maintained outside.

This place is such a hidden gem that we came across this because we were invited to a wedding here. My friends wedding was all held in one place; ceremony outside and reception indoors. So many beautiful spots to take photos whether or not for wedding/engagement. That day turn out so wonderful and intimate when we were there and I would highly recommend going here for special occasion/celebration with a group of 100 people maximum.

Beautiful place, decorated so nicely, the garden is gorgeous too. The staff here is absolutely amazing! Super kind, plus their wifi is awesome; reaches outdoors!

Nice little local museum. My only complaint is the garish LED signage out front, which totally detracts from the feel of the place. Remove that and Ill give it 5 stars.

Went with group of pres schooler, who were too young to full appreciate it. Great place to take kids from 5year old and up.

We recently had our wedding at the Stouffville Museum and it was amazing! A big shout out to Julia and her staff for being so helpful, accommodating and just a great pleasure to work with. From start to finish Julia went above and beyond with helping, guiding and offering ideas for our big day - she was there every step of the way, put us at ease and made the process that much easier. Thank you Julia!!! The venue is just stunning and is a one stop shop - ceremony, photos and reception all at one place. If youre looking for a venue with lots of character, easy on the wallet and the best staff ever...look no further.

Very friendly staff and interesting place to go if interested in history. Takes you back to 200 years ago. The lady with her vintage dress in the old kitchen offered us to stay for the pie she was baking in the wood burning oven. I really loved it!

Museum made very good impression. We did not expect such a big exhibition for this place. It would be wonderful to visit it again in summer time.

Very great museum at low cost

Beautiful, modern venue that was spacious and bright. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We had full use of the kitchen and decorated the space how we liked it, and they helped clean up afterwards! Clean washrooms and use of the sound system was awesome!

This location is pretty educated. Highly recorded.

Amazing facility and amazing staff.

We used this facility for a business event. Very nice building and helpful staff. If you hold an event here make sure you communicate to your attendees about parking, there are a limited number of spaces in front, but there is an overflow parking lot a couple of hundred feet south, with a dimly lit pathway back to the facility. Also make sure you include or negotiate setup time into your rental. They made an exception and let us in early to setup, but we had to sit outside in our cars for about 45 minutes as there was a gap in their staff coverage and they literally locked us out of the building until the evening shift arrived.

Just spent a wonderful evening with friends at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum. Dinner was excellent and the talk on William Lyon MacKenzie was entertaining and informative. I will certainly look forward to returning for future events.Congratulations to the organizers and volunteers!

Unique wedding venue. Historic buildings with character and find the space to be intimate, full of interesting works.

Nice n very small museum. Guided tours are provided for no extra charge. Good learning place to know about the daily life of early new settlers in canada.

Staff are amazing!!! They were so helpful and ecouraging when I booked my daughters birthday party. Also, a beautiful place for photos.

My husband and I chose Stouffville Museum for our wedding this past summer. Its a great venue with lovely grounds and great historic sites for pictures. All of the staff are fantastic and were a great resource to us leading up to the event. Our guests really enjoyed themselves. For the value, it has to be one of the best wedding venues for a small to mid-size wedding near the GTA. Great location for a visit or an event!

Came here for a wedding. Cute venue. Ceilings could be higher.

If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would. My daughters wedding reception was held in the main hall, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff are amazing, and the grounds and buildings are perfect for photos. Any questions we had were answered almost before we could finish asking them. Staff is accommodating, professional, friendly, and in one word - excellent. I would absolutely recommend this venue for any gathering, and Im hoping I have a reason to book it again. Thanks to the Museum for a job well done.
