An amazingly beautiful place with endless authentic beauty. It would be perfect if there werent so many cars driving through the idyllic streets without much care for the pedestrians, which really ruins the whole thing. Makes it feel unsafe and hazardous. Stop cars from going up the path unless its official deliveries and itd make things a lot more serene.

Good vineries with a wide selection of wines from dry to sweet. However, it feels like to be renewed just to attract more tourists and the old fashioned authenticity tends to fade.

Some hits, some misses, but this is a Must-Do in Eger! Torma pince wines are by far superior to everything else out there, try the REM 2013 - an AMAZING blend. Just fantastic, as is their work with Kekfrankos (skip the Bikaver - its just an inferior grape!)

If you are in the area this is a must see place. You can buy great well known international wines for less than 2 dollars a liter.

If you like wine, this is a must-visit place of the region. Most wineries will be happy to offer you some samples and most of them are rather on the great side in taste. Bulk wines have the greatest price to value ratio yet I can not say the bottled ones wouldnt be worth their prices. This place has a really great milieu to it, but prepare yoi wouldnt want to be the one whos driving.

A short distance from the town square, you can even walk there. I took a leisurely stroll. Check out the different cellars for wine tasting. Restaurants are available but I think better in town. Enjoy your glass of red! Some are genuinely passionate about wine. Some are just for the money.

Many, many wine cellars with many, many different and delicious kind of wines. When you visit this valley you can do cellars hopping. There is more than 30 of them, some even have live music.

We went on a Monday evening and not a lot was open. They also closed at 20:00 but very good (and cheapwines! Definitely take some home!

Beautiful park dotted with wine cellars where you can get amazing quality wines. It gets loud in the weekends because of all the tourists, but on a weekday night its one of the most relaxing places Ive ever been.

Its very small and wineries open kind of late. Some wont speak English and others are not so prone on showing the bodega.

Great for tasting and buying wine in the region of Eger. They have wines for everyone, all different types and prices. The restaurants here are also good and very affordable.

The best wines has Tibor Gál. The taste and aroma of his Kadarka is absolutely fantastic!

Loved it. We walked there from downtown (takes about 30 minutes). It was a nice stroll and helped us sober up on the way back! The wine was great, the sellers kind. There were locals celebrating in the park. Truly szép (beautiful)!

More then 30 wine cellars. Quite touristic place. If you dont want to see crowds - visit this place at the end of day. No public transport is avaliable at this spot. The best way to reach this place - on foot.

Go there and taste as many kind of local wine as you want, then pick some and buy. Dont do this if you come there by car, there is zero tolerance for drunk drivers in Hungary.

This place has lost a lot of its old charm from years back as its now turned into a tourist trap surrounded by restaurants. Personally I would say walk past the restaurants and just go here for the wine tasting. Sadly most of the cellars have also turned into restaurants inside as they used to be full of large kegs of wine etc. Still worth having a look if your in Eger.
