Westview Inn in La Crosse

I have to be honest, I was expecting this place to not be any different than most around this area with the classic salad bar and decent, but overly priced food, but I was pleasantly proven wrong. Not only did we receive amazing service and accommodation, but the quality and quantity was what every diner truly hopes for. Thank you so much for an amazing meal and experience!

Went there for Friday night fish and was NOT disappointed. They were busy but handled the crowd well. Our server was excellent food was great and the drinks were good.

Very yummy breakfast. Huge portions and great service with friendly smiles. Bloodys and mimosas hit the spot! It was the perfect place to start our day!

Went for mothers day brunch buffet. Very limited selection. Ham was the cheap stuff that comes in a oval thats water infused. Desert looked like it was bought from Walmart. For $18 a person it definitely wasnt worth it.

The fish dinner I had was really good. It was a very nice environment and it was extremely busy.And I can see why its busy the food is good. An interesting note this place serves frog legs. I didnt have them cuz I went there for a Friday fish dinner with friends. I will however be going back because I have never had frog legs and I very much want to try them. So if youre looking to try something exotic like frog legs Westview has them. So break out of the box and try something new.

Steaks and prime rib were really good. The fish was a bit fishy tasting. Portions were large and the staff was friendly.

Mediocre to the extreme. Service was sssssllllooooooowwww. I gave up waiting for the waitress to ask us for drinks after 20 minutes and bought drinks for my husband and myself.Food was ok. My walleye was dry but fine. The broccoli cheese soup was melted velveeta and minced broccoli.Husbands steak was undercooked. We were there for 2 hours for a basic meal. Hmmmmmmm

The staff were friendly and service good. The place was cleaned very good. Including bathrooms. My family enjoyed the food, however I tried a burger and wasn’t happy with it. I gave five star because I was the only one unhappy with the meal and I cannot hold my personal taste against them. I will be going back to try something else.

The waitress was great! But otherwise the food was poor at best. Wouldnt come back again.

Westview is an awesome "Supper Club" with GREAT Food Offerings, GREAT Cocktails, SUPER Service & Customer Service & WAIT STAFF! And dont forget about the "Off the Hook" DAILY SPECIALS!

My wife and I ordered hamburger steak mine care like I ordered it. For my wife she ordered medium well it came very rare blood coming out of it.I tryed getting the wateres attention several times with no luck

Food was excellent. Had the Salmon and Au Gratin potatoes. Very good. Friendly waitress and nice atmosphere.

Very good supper club style business. Big bar, dim lights, lots of stuff on the walls, etc. Had a few drinks before moving to the dining room. Service was good. Food was pretty good overall. Had the fish fry and it was fine. cod loins were cut up into chunks, which I found odd and the seasoning/breading wasnt outstanding. Steamed veggies were boring but after all, they were steamed veggies. A couple of upgrades here and there and this place would rock.

Four of us went there to celebrate my brothers birthday. While rib eyes are marbled with fat, my dads steak was over 50% just pure grizzly fat. The dill sauce for the grilled salmon looked as unappetizing as it tasted. My sons fettuccini noodles were undercooked for his alfredo and the augratin potatoes tasted like scalloped potatoes sprinkled with shredded cheese. When we mentioned our dissatisfaction with our server, she said thats how it is and quickly left our table to clear dishes.

Dont care for their fish.i had walleye and it tasted like maybe a mud taste.not good.great salad and soup.wife loved the shrimp.this was the 3rd or 4th time they failed me on the fish.sorry,because I usually dont complain.

Ive been going here for 30 years. There fish dinners on Fridays simply cannot be beat anywhere. Supurb fries and a delicious salad bar to snack on. The service is excellent with super friendly waitresses.

Steak was mediocre, salad bar lettuce tasted a bit old. I used to like this place but now U think its not a good value for the money. That said,the staff was very nice and accomodating.

Waited about 20 min to get order taken. Another 10 to 15 to get drinks. Then wait for food. After about an hour we finally got our food. Wont be going back.

Family tradition to go to Westview for fish fry and salad bar. Not super friendly to vegan or vegetarians, but there are some options. Old style American food is how I would categorize this restaurant. They have two soups and two salad bars so thats really nice. They also have local beer options and a good full bar.

When we arrived, we were seated right away... even when it looked like they were packed there was still room for us. The food was fantastic. I had the chicken and my girlfriend had the fish fry. We also ordered the cheese curds for an appetizer... be warned they are very filling and absolutely delicious! This is a great place and will definitely be a return visit for us!

Much more than i expected & very good food. Nice atmosphere with lots of choices. Bar tables are quite small.Clean stocked and friendly staff made the difference too. Easy to order and fairly quick. Great soup & salad bar too!Restrooms were clean.Would recommend to others as well as will return as needed.

In the midst of lacrosse county in WisconsinThere is a hidden gem in town of West SalemI have to say that as soon as you walk in the door you get this warm friendly inviting feeling as if you you are home.My party and I were greeted by the most friendly staff.The food was Devine along with the fast friendly service.The Westview Inn one of best places to go in the area for great food and friendly people.
