400 Pine St, Seattle, WA 98101, United States, Maple Valley
4-story, glass-enclosed retail center for shopping & dining with a food court.
I dont know how retailers make any money there its 👎👎 hours 👎
Although many shops closed down, there is a great gift shop (souvenirscalled Fireworks. Also, amazing ice cream Maiko, where they serve macha flavour ice cream in very large size (as for European standards)
Good place to get some quick food and some shopping
Pretty legit spot to hangout. There is ALWAYS some kind of drama going on.
Quick entry and decent selection of stores.
Good for eating and having clean toilets, little ne small
Visit here yesterday and Photos from my YouTube channel!
Just passed through the Westlake Center to get over to the monorail that takes you to the Space Needle. I wish we had had more time to explore because there were all sorts of interesting looking shops with all sorts of goods! Saw some amazing looking giant Pokemon plushes, candy stores, knick nacks, clothings stores, just to name a few that caught my eye.
Generally convenient as far as location goes, especially if you arrive via transit. Cant speak to the parking situation, though I know there is on-site parking. Seems to have become mostly food court in the last few years, and Im fine with that, though ironically most of the old food court has been taken over by retail space, so while it sure seems like at least half the place is comprised of eateries now, its probably about the same number as it used to be - or fewer. Tragic! But still good stuff to be found.
I go here for the Transit tunnels. The Mall has been seriously revamped since the early 2000s and the food isnt as impressive as it used to be. They also moved the food court from the top floor to the floor below it which is weird? The service is good and the staff is friendly. Not a huge fan of the redesign but I guess weve been watching old Seattle die for a while. Also the Starbucks, Educational Store, and Daiso are gone so its essentially just clothing, Claires, and food now which is kind of a bummer.
Its a nice setting, although its gone down hill over the years, and especially since COVID. However, its nice to walk by.
This used to be a cool place to ride the monorail to for lunch. Used to have a really awesome food court and much more going on. I dont know if its because post pandemic or what but wasnt impressed like I was the first several times... The food court is almost non-existent!!!
Easy place to shop and grab light rail and Monorail
Close to Pikes Place. Monorail only stop. Lots of open restaurants and coffee shops
Good spot for a quick shopping. You’ll find what your looking for here.
Very clean; open outdoor tables for seating and eating. Live music; plenty of shops. Good place to visit
These days I pretty much only come here for the food court and to use the bathrooms. Sometimes I like to visit Candy Tyme (which is a nice enough storebut 95% of the time Im there for either a Sushi Burrito (which is terrificor a Cali Burger (which honestly I think I just go there to see if the robot is broken this week). Nice clean bathrooms.
Other than my men, it was refreshing to have security open the door for me! Go, wellsfargo security!!!
The mall is great with great stores and a nice smaller size which I like. However my whole life it’s always had a weird vibe to it that I can’t quite put into words, almost like its empty and full at the same time, and there’s constantly construction, renovations and changes. I’ve never been in here where every space/store was fully open and had people happily wandering around. Maybe thats because it is in an area thats always changing and people pass through here as for the metro station and don’t really pay attention to the mall.Anyways its a great mall otherwise, clean, modern feeling, great location and access to transportation etc. but like I was trying to say, this mall and the surrounding area needs a little more love attention and is still figuring itself out. It has lots of potential.
It was a really nice place to visit. Got a few souvenirs there.
Not in great shape at the moment. Numerous escalators are out of order and elevators located in awkward locations.
A friend was looking for a mother of the bride dress but had no luck.
Not sure if it’s just me, but when I went it was kind of stinky there. It’s definitely a small “mall” so not a destination for shopping. Only a handful of stores but the food court has some variety but it’s very compact. The area outside and surrounding it is much nicer and more interesting.
As nice as it is to have a couple of still-standing shopping & restaurant in the same area - Safety poses an issue. Any time of day!☹️
I absolutely love the food court. Hope you will be adding others, with a wide variety.
Some great places to shop here but theres a section of it that has restaurants that are not open on the weekends. Things like Taco del Mar. Which is amazing since this is a busy time down at the mall.
Came here as a stop on the light rail. The food court was packed! It appeared that people were enjoying their food and taking a break from the heat.
Very clean and safe. Had a great time connecting to the monorail.
I took visiting relatives to Westlake Center to catch the monorail to Seattle Center to experience the Space Needle and the Center. The new 3 story stairwell was quite a challenge for many other senior citizens and myself. We met several other seniors along the stairwell resting on different landings catching their breath so they could go on to the top. Whose STUPID idea is this???
Nice shopping mall located at the terminus of the monorail. Wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator, but its kind of tucked away. But staff were very helpful with directions. I loved the Fireworks store! Spent a lot of time here, there was so many unique items to look at. There is, of course, a Starbucks just outside to get some coffee so you can shop more.
I liked this place better when it was a collection of smaller shops. It has good access to the tunnel and the monorail
Enjoy the area and be mindful. The neighborhood is in need of some compassion. Westlake Center is an adaptive hub. Many shops, the Seattle Monorail, and the Light Rail are ADA assemble from this location.
This was my first time being here, and it did not disappoint me. Many great stores (e.g., Food courts, fashion stores, etc.are located within the mall. You can either depart at the Westlake station or at the nearby monorail station to visit this Mall. There is a Starbuck just right outside the store. The whole area is clean, neat, and accessible to all visitors. There is a Vietnamese ice cream store on the third floor that sells delicious ice creams with reasonable price. Please check it out. Again, I highly recommend this place to anyone
Easy access to the monorail which is great but not too much open in this mall anymore sadly.
Westlake has been quieting down of late. Hopefully this will help things stay open longer. It’s cleaner as well and people are using scooters and bikes a lot more to get around.
Service was very quick and the food was refreshing and tasty. Seating was ample and being cleaned on a consistent basis.
If you are taking the light rail station the Westlake station is the best to get off from as you will get off at this safe nice station that has this entire shopping center above it. I would recommend the Johnny Rockets place in the little food court as they always have good food. Great options for stores but also its more expensive stores so not a place to go on a spending spree. 😂
Come for the laughs stay for the Pizxa. You can sit down on a bench and have a great if you like. They let you use your phone a few times too l. Like that you can get ice cream from a man and take a photo of it if you like. I’ll go again maybe join a meet up and bring a friend to west lake center
Four blocks from pike place market and the green Tortoise Hostel seattle downtown where I stayed last weekend for the Coldplay concert.I used the train from SeaTac & in between, to Northgate many times in my four day trip there. Super easy and fast. Thank you Seattle for putting in the train. Sure made my Seattle trip easier Without a car.
With so many stores in Seattle closing it is great to see theWestlake Centre open for business. There are so many stores available and a great food court with selection of cuisines. It is also served by the Metro monorail so easy transportation system
Lovely lights display set up for the holidays!
They install beautiful lights here during the Christmas season. Take a plus one to freeze some beautiful memories. There’s also a hotdog stand right around the corner that carries tasty Seattle Dogs
This place is delightful! There is a lot of care that goes into choosing the products that they use as well as making the tea. It really shows in the work that they do. I am very particular about how I like my tea because Im a purist but I do love a good tea latte that has the skilled highlight the flavor of the tea and the shop does it beautifully.
There are multiple hand sanitizer stations, which is a plus. At least one eating place is open, and you can sit down if need be. Also, the restrooms usually are clean.Theft seems to be a problem; however, the security officer that I spoke with was helpful.I’ve been here multiple times and each visit is hit or miss. Mostly though, the people working here (security officers and cleanersshow hospitality and are polite.
Well it’s a mall! It’s a nice mall too, but I am not a mall lover. Went there to eat and catch the monorail. Monorail is super cool. Built for the Worlds Fair back in 1962 and you sure can tell. Kinda cool that’s it’s retro.
Its under renovation when we visited this mall but there are cool stores inside that are worth spending dollars for like the candy store, Made in Seattle souvenir shop, pressed juicery and the matcha store.
This was actually the monorail at the Westlake center area. It goes to the Seattle city park where the Space Needle is. Very fun very historic ride. The monorail was installed back in the fifties and sixties. Definitely something you must do when you are in Seattle.
Nice spot in the center of the the shopping district. Chairs and tables, in the shade great for taking a break and just people watching.
The restrooms and food court have just been remodeled. There are some exotic and well-prepared food choices in the Food court. Good variety of pocket $ to more expensive shops. Elevator is better traffic than escalator, esp if you are alone. Feed your brain, check out Daiso and Fireworks, there and open your eyes for a fun, thoughtful gift. If u feel lucky, buy some heart-shaped soap at Lush for yr sweetheart, and eat something unexpected and fun 2gether!
Beautiful tree. Easy walking to shopping and dining everywhere, outdoor seating and various food trucks daily, coffee, Saks just opened. ADA accessible, dog friendly. Bathrooms. Parking nearby. Varied buskers playing daily and placed around downtown. Kids playground across the street. Close to waterfront and Pikes Place Market. Interesting people watching.
