Queen St, Oxford OX1 1TR, Kālia
Shopping centre with mainly high-street & specialist shops, plus leisure attractions..
Only shopping center in Oxford. What I can say? (Their food count is good for taking a quick lunch/dinner)
The lower floor has some decent shops and the upper level has a good array of bars, restaurants and a cinema. The car park however is an absolute nightmare. As with any traffic schemes in Oxfordshire the council have absolutely zero idea what they are doing. Sometimes the queue is over an hour to get in. One way in one way out for multiple lanes of traffic. I wonder how many stores have lost tens of thousands of pounds because of it.
Nice clean tidy place. Lots of high end shops. They have a great street food social space, you could go with a group, all eat something different, then sit together and enjoy. Comfortable and toilets clean.
Very popular shopping centre in Oxford. Indoor cafe or outdoor high street shops. You can enjoy what you want. Lovely Oxford.
Good location with car parking, also plenty stores and restaurants to be vista.
Nice covered shopping area. We entered through the side of UNIQLO and came out through where the picture was taken.
A really nice shopping centre, very different to others I have been to. They have a terrace which has a nice view and a food court up there. Car park can get very busy and spaces are tight and not as spacious as other car parks.
This is a very good shopping centre. there is a wide range of shops and excellent restaurant options. Everything is clean and works well. The parking is absolutely excellent, probably the best parking facility I have ever used. In a city where parking is a major problem, Westgate is a breath of fresh air! The only issue I have is that its too popular, for obvious reasons. On my recent visit there was a significant queue to get into the parking. I always enjoy my visits to Oxford Westgate.
Big shopping stores and all you can find here
Would be a better place if it wouldnt be open. Its not nice when is so windy,or you go into a shop get hot and you are going out its freezing, especially now the winter is coming.I dont know who designed it,but my idea of a shopping center is to feel i am comfortable ,not wrapped up ....
Lots of shops. It can get really really busy at times. Slowly more and more of the shops I like to go to are closing and being replaced by more expensive brands. There’s a great selection of bars and restaurants upstairs as well as a cinema and escape room.
This is a good shopping centre. It’s airy and bright and there’s plenty to do. I especially like the restaurants that are on offer on the terrace. I’d come back here.
Nicely laid out shopping complex. I have never experienced a John Lewis store with so much space. Toilet facilities are first class accessed on the uppermost deck by lift or escalator. There are numerous eateries.
Quite a large shopping centre with some great shops to visit spent a few hours and a few quid here, family really enjoyed themselves, nice places to eat here too. Well worth a visit.

One of the best shopping centres ive been to in the uk. Very nicely designed. Big open area on ground floor for people to sit and enjoy. Very wide walking areas around the centre so easy to walk even when busy. Modern design. Top floor with restaurants and cinema provides nice views on a clear day. Good selection of quality restaurants. Lifts and escalators well located.
Great place to go for a shopping day. You can find alot of stuff here theres lots of accessible stuff there. Lifts to every floor and escalators. Some shops have 2 floors they also have lifts and escalators. There is a underground car park with lots of spaces to choose from, also theres electric car charging spaces. One downside is in the winter it can be cold as its not enclosed Other than that its all good
A dazzling shopping mall with lots of shops. Your pockets are gonna tear if you are planning to bring your kids here😅. The place is always bustling with people and its very hard to get a parking space for your car. The parking area was full when I visited and we parked our car quite far away from the mall. The washrooms were very clean too. It would be good if the mall has a KFC and McDonalds outlet, thats a major absence in the mall.
An impressive modern shopping mall, with many big names, and a nice sprinkling of independents.
Love this place. So many stores but most of the stores are extremely expensive. It is clean, always busy, but this place is nice if you just want a day out.
Good selection of shops, however could be much better. John Lewis is great and quite a sizeable store. Their Urban Outfitters is quite small and limited compared to other stores.Good options for food on the ground (bottomfloor by the SuperDry escalator for fast food options, and good dining options available on the rooftop. Great for a day out and quick shopping, although I wish there were more shops and a more diverse selection.
So beautiful this shopping centre and the views from the terrace, so wonderful! Been here few times now and simply love it!! Different foods choices and different shops. Definitely recommend going here!!
Lovely place to take the family and plenty of shops to go to and lots of restaurants to have a lovely meal. The roof top is beautiful and there is a cinema and public toilets
Westgate is nice and very spacious with great design feel and layoutWho knows what oxfordians were doing before this place came, probably Amazon. The food court could be better its huge but very limited options
This is an open space shopping centre. It is nice during the warm weather but it becomes chill in winter. It will be bit hard to find a parking space during weekends. Instead, you could park at parking nearby.
This is by far the best shopping centre we have been too for a long time!!
Really nice and modern shopping centre.Lots of shops for all and a good selection of restaurants available. Even a gym, cinema and escape hunt. One stop shop activity place.Bright, open and airy.If visiting during winter time, wrap up as it can be a wind tunnel depending where you are..Amazing views from the roof top terrace.Must visit in Oxford. Great day out.
Great selection of stores, nice mall!
First time visiting Oxford for a days shopping in over 20yrs. Wow, I was amazed at the Westgate shopping centre. So many retailers, well laid out centre and very clean. Several food outlets to choose from too. Restaurants on the roof terrace were fantastic and the smell of the food choices on offer were amazing. Highly recommend a visit.
It is a very beautiful large shopping mall. Its stylish and looks like its different from the previous Westgate!
It was a very beautiful and spacious place. Suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Give it a place to park the car but you may still run into problems.
Lovely weekend in Oxford for a break. Oxford is a beautiful city to explore with tons of history. Of course there are the colleges and their beautiful grounds. Most have an entrance fee £6-£10 and tours which are worth it if its your first time. Theres also the punting which is popular at £40. The new shopping mall is fantastic in the heart of the city with loads of shops and eateries. I wouldnt recommend driving as it seems hard to find parking. Train and bus services are very good. We stayed at the premier Inn in Botley Westminster Way and caught the bus right outside which took 15mins to the centre. Same bus right back to hotel too. Get the 24hr group pass for £9 for one day travel on all bus services for a family. Recommend visiting Blenheim palace which is only 20 minutes away, its stunning. Theres also a wildlife park and crocodile sanctuary nearby too. So plenty to see and do in Oxford.
Great shopping centre although everywhere is quite pricey. Parking is particularly expensive! Lots of electric vehicle charging points but these are often used by polluting cars - they really need to stamp this out.
Couldnt really rate it, as used it more for the parking than the facilities. Good parking area, plenty of space. Ive never seen LED lights above parking spaces making it easier to find spaces! Looked like there was plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. Im sure if we experienced it properly it would be 5 star for sure!
Very cool place with nice vibe and good shops
Huge shopping center. Recommended you go see the roof terrace.
Open mall, beautiful in spring summer time but not in winter and rainy day. A lot of range of shop and really nice. Beautiful view from upper floor.
Nice place for an evening out with family. You get to choose from doing normal shopping to dine out. Also park here and go for a walk in the city center. The mall is clean and has sanitizing stations after every few shops.Would have been better of the plants on the ground floor were not artificial. Though the ones on top floor are real and add to the charm of the place. Take tour warm coat along and dont leave it in the car since the common areas of the mall are more of an open architecture and gets cold due to cross ventilation.
Well laid out Shopping Center with high end Stores and a good variety of places to eat.
There are many selections of stores and restaurants. Make sure you get warm clothes on windy and cold days as it gets really cold inside the mall. There was very long queue for the parking so plan ahead if you are visiting the city on weekends. It is a walking distance to the city centre and surrounding attractions. The rooftop has a brilliant view to the city with the opportunity to have a drink or get a bite.
They actually have Miniso, flannels and their noodles in the food court is nice. Overall very strategic area as its very nearby to the other shops and town centre. Convenient car park and relatively new revamped car parking system.
A very modern shopping mall right in the center of Oxford. They have a lot of great shops and its great that the place is covered up which really helps when it rains. I loved they terrace as you get to enjoy an amazing view of city skyline and they also have a lot of great restaurants up there. Bonus points because they allow dogs in a lot of the stores.
Lovely shopping centre. Very clean and lots of shops to spend your hard earned cash on. Nice cinema and roof top with loads of restaurants to eat at. Christmas themed decor gives a nice ambience and feel especially when it gets a little dark .
First time visiting since the rebuild. What a change! Sky terrace is wonderful, with lots of planting of various herbs. The levels have views down with open air spaces making it all very fresh. My photos dont do it justice.
Westgate is like any other central shopping malls in the UK. Its large and spacious and very well laid out. What makes it stand out though is the roof top. The view from there is wonderful and the collection of restaurants for dining is fantastic. Theres also a Curzon movie theatre which makes it a perfect place for a day out in Oxford.
The Westgate is a great place for shopping over several floors. There are a wide variety of shops, with several bars and restaurants on the roof. There is ample parking in the underground car park, and the centre opens up straight into Oxford town center.
A very nice shopping center. Has everything food, shops, kids play area and a Cinema. There is lots of parking in the basement including charge points for electric vehicles. A lovely view of Oxford from the roof top of the shopping center. This is where you will find all the resturants as well.
Such a modern and openly designed shopping mall I absolutely love it! It’s located in the heart of Oxford city and has private parking (in case full there’s a nearby public parking lot less than 5 minutes away). The shopping mall has a variety of restaurants and clothing stores, you’ll definitely find everything you want in here 💯/💯!
